CHAPTER 12
*Please note that Elliot Dawes is an OC of mine and that this happens after Avengers Assembled and before Captain America 2, carrying on into that timeline*
And so we did. I got strapped to a chair where they shaved my head off. I actually found it quite relaxing, feeling my hair just fall away. All the dirtiness and hassle of having hair just fell away. Once it was all gone, I felt so much more lighter and free. I tossed my head from side to side in amusement.
"Whoa, talk about giving your brain some breathing space," I declared.
A big guy smashed his fist into my face. I got released from the chair and my hands got tied together with a ziptie. It was horrible, uncomfortable and cut off my blood circulation. I got pushed and shoved along the corridor to a large room. There was various torture instruments, some dating back to the Nazi era. I gulped. Jesus fucking Christ, their going to perform old Nazi torture techniques on me, I thought with horror. He hasn't bothered to get up to date. I tried desperately to think of something, anything, to get me out of this. Of course my brain decided to cease functioning at the moment I needed it most. A painful reminder of how human I am. They started off with a Nazi experiment- surmerging me in a tub filled with ice. I was stripped off my clothes and dumped in the ice water were I was strapped down. It wasn't long before I was chittering and loosing feeling in my body. It was unbearable but I was stuck. I tried to wriggled out but I was strapped in one position. I counted. It was wall I could do. After about half an hour, they pulled me out. I was then dumped in a tub filled with lukewarm water. To my frozen skin, the water was burning. I screamed out in agony, unable to contain myself. I wasn't trained against this sort of thing. Once I had warmed up, I was put back into the tub of ice water. This happened three more times. It wasn't long before my skin was covered in angry, red blister that hurt and burst whenever I moved. After that, we stopped for a spot of lunch. Lunch for me was a chunk of stale bread and a piece of hard cheese. I ate them down, forcing myself to chew and crunch the food whilst the Red Skull and his crew dined on the finest food. I couldn't help but watch them in envy. I was chained in a corner whilst they sat at a table, talking and laughing and sipping on wine. The Red Skull sauntered over to me and stood over me. He kicked me to the ground and placed a heavy boot on my cheek, squashing my face.
"Now, are we ready to talk?" he asked.
"About what?" I asked in a muffed voice. "The weather? The frozen dude? Nazism?"
The boot smashed into my face. There was a sickening crunch before the pain spread through my nose. I wasn't ready for the sudden move. A noise of pain escaped my lips. Talk about giving it away to your enemies. The guards around the room laughed loudly. I could feel the tears stream down my face and mingle with the blood that was free flowing down my face. I could taste the blood in my mouth. It was a horrible, hot sensation that tasted of metal. Yuck. I got yanked to my feet roughly by the shoulder. Pain seared through it as the person dug their fingers in tightly. Everything went dizzy and black for a moment. When I woke they had moved me from the corner. I was now sitting in a chair, under a dazzling light.
"Are you ready to talk about the formula?" the Red Skull demanded.
"My heads a little fuzzy," I muttered, spitting out blood. "I can't-,"
Something metal smashed into my back. I screeched in pain as everything ducked into darkness again. I was woken up this time by a bucket of icy water getting chucked over me. I coughed and spluttered and blinked in confusion. Everything was beginning to swim.
"ANSWER ME!" roared a swimming red blob.
"I-I-," was all I could managed,
The metal thing smashed into my back again, in another position. Any more damage and I could lose the usage of my legs. Of course I could get a wheelchair like one of my favourite professor but this is horrible thing. My legs began to tingle in a weird sensation. I didn't like this one bit. C'mon, you're better than this, I thought to myself. Give them a wild goose chase.
"I will not ask again," the red blob snapped into focus.
I could hear the swoosh of the metal pole as it was raised in preparation. I squeezed my eyes shut and prayed for the best.
"THE ANWERS IN HIS BLOOD!" I yelled, wincing.
The metal pole was slowly lowered. No pain came this time. The Red Skull looked both excited and thoughtful. He leant forward so his ugly face was inches for mine. I so want to tear up his DNA and discover what went wrong with him. Doctor Erskine recons it was the evil in his heart but I want to see what scientific things that went wrong with him.
"Go on," he hissed.
"I believe you can single out the formula for Captain America's blood." I said. "Of course you never gave me the chance to test this out but hidden within his DNA structure is the key to the formula. Off course there's other things needed as well but it's a start,"
My heart was hammering as if I just ran a race. Fear coursed through me, making me feel like it had replaced my blood stream (which was currently exiting my body via my smashed up nose).
