A/N: Hey guys, it's your favorite darkness returning with another chapter. I first want to apologize for the late update. School has been kicking my ass and I've been sick for a few days so writing took a little longer than expected. Now I'm fine and can write at a hundred percent again. Now with that out of the way, let's begin.

Ice Chronicles

Chapter 52: Addition

It's only been a day since my sekirei and I arrived at the beach resort. So far, I've been doing a lot of stuff, from playing in the sand with my wife and daughter to massaging Toyo and having sex with her. Speaking of which, I've had sex with all of my sekirei now. Akitsu being the very first and Toyo being the ending point. Now I ponder what the future has in store for me. After Toyo and I shared our time, we plopped right into bed, going directly to sleep. I didn't bother checking on Musubi and Tsukiumi and just slept.

When I woke up, no one was around; it was just a quiet and peaceful room. I sat up and stretched out; however, when I placed my arms back down, my hand landed on something plush and soft. I could feel my face reddening at the sense of déjà vu. I slowly turned my head and looked down, only to see a still sleeping Toyo, who was completely naked for whatever reason. Though with my past experiences, I've become used to these situations, mainly because of Akitsu and Uzume; however, it also made me more bold.

"Sorry Toyo," I whispered and pulled the covers off her breasts. I lightly squeezed the one in my hand, eliciting a soft moan to escape Toyo's lips. With the other one, I traced my tongue around the nipple and felt them harden. Toyo's moan increased as she stirred in bed, making me pull back. I removed my hand from Toyo's breast and pulled the covers off me.

I smiled at Toyo's sleeping face and gently rubbed her beautiful green hair. She snuggled into the pillow and smiled as well. I kissed her head and attempted to get up, but a hand grabbed my wrist and pulled me back. I looked back and saw Toyo awake.

"You were awake the entire time?" I questioned. She released me and continued to rest.

"That kiss on the head woke me up. I woke up earlier to Tsukiumi interrogating me about sleeping in here, but I just told her what we did. She got even more angry, but you were sleeping and she had to deal with it. So, I got more comfortable, which is why I'm naked, and cuddled up beside you. Now don't leave yet, come back and lay down with me. We've worked you a lot yesterday; you should rest more. The others won't mind if you relax for a while."

She grasped my hand and kept ushering me back in bed. Considering her logic, I didn't argue. I got back into the bed and draped my arm around her shoulder, as she snuggled closer and rested her head and hand on my chest.

"Mmmm, you're so warm. Last night was incredible; I'm still a little sore."

I chuckled at her. "Did you like it?"

"Like it? I loved it. I see why everyone enjoyed it so much. Now we can all compare," she responded. I sighed.

"Must you really? I mean what's the point of doing that?"

"It's a girl thing; you wouldn't understand. As kind and considerate you may be, you still don't understand," she said and dragged her finger around my chest. I rubbed her back and saw her rise to straddle my waist. She placed her hands on my shoulders and came closer to kiss me. Her hand rested on my cheek, as the other one went in my shirt to rub my chest. Toyo moaned softly before pulling back.

"I thought you were sore," I spoke. She giggled at me and whispered seductively into my ear.

"That doesn't mean I'm not ready for more."

She guided my hand back to her breasts and pushed down on it, coming closer again for another kiss.

About two hours later, Toyo and I emerged from the shower, feeling fresh and rejuvenated. We put on some clean and comfortable clothes for the water that awaited us outside. The entire time, Toyo was smiling with more happiness than before we made love again.

"Ren, you're amazing," she said. I scratched my cheek as I felt my face heat up again.

"You're amazing too."

She grasped my hand and walked with me outside into the bright sun.

"Seems much longer than day don't you agree?" She asked. I nodded in agreement.

"Yeah, feels like a week has already gone by."

We walked barefooted into the soft sand and searched for the others. Toyo let out a soft sigh.

"It feels good; I wonder where everyone else is. Probably out having more fun."

"Most likely," I said. She giggled at my remark and pulled out her sunglasses.

"I'm going to sunbathe; you have fun."

She kissed my lips and waved goodbye. I waved as well and started walking around. I felt the intense heat of the sun bathe my skin. I continued walking around the shore of the beach; however,

"Ren!" Someone shouted. I turned around and saw Uzume running towards me. I would pay more attention to the way she sounded, but her running caused her large breasts to bounce with each pace. She stopped in front of me and panted.

"I've been looking for you. We sort of have a problem," she said. I snapped out of my thoughts and regained focus.

"What happened?"

She sighed. "Tsukiumi got into a fight with another sekirei; and you are the best candidate to stop her."

I nodded. "Okay, where is she?"

As if on cue, we saw the water move more vigorously. Our heads turned towards where the water traveled and saw our favorite busty blonde standing in the water along with another girl. I sighed, as Uzume laughed at her. We rushed to her position and saw a girl with peach colored hair and a blue ribbon tied around a side wielding some type of trident. Both girls looked angry, well except Tsukiumi who always looked like that.

"Tsukiumi," I called out to her. She heard my voice and turned around. I placed a hand on her shoulder.

"What's going on? Why are you two fighting?"

She turned back to the peach haired girl. Now that I'm closer, I've noticed how cute she really is, especially in the light blue swimsuit she wore. I quickly shook my head.

"Please excuse us; I hope Tsukiumi didn't cause you any trouble."

My blonde sekirei snapped her head towards me in outrage.

"Ren, don't apologize to this wench."

"Now Tsukiumi; I don't know what happened, but I'm not going to have you fighting over some dumb argument you probably got into," I interrupted.

"My thoughts exactly," someone said. We heard the voice, as the girl with the peach hair smiled and ran to it. When we followed her, we were surprised to see Kai walking towards us. The girl wrapped her arms around his neck and walked with him.

"What did you do now Kuruse?" He questioned.

"I didn't do anything. It was her over there," she accused. Kai sighed.

"I told you to be careful when practicing your trident attacks. You don't know who could be around you."

"Hey it was her fault for getting in the way," Kuruse responded.

"What?" Tsukiumi spoke. "I dare say that it's thee who is at fault. I was merely enjoying myself until thy weapon came and nearly took my head off."

The two girls shot lightning at each other, but Kai and I stood in between them.

"Tsukiumi, please calm down," I told her. She glared at me.

"And just allow her to get away with almost decapitating me? I think not."

I sighed again. "It was just an accident; I'm sure she didn't mean to."

She crossed her arms underneath her chest.

"Hmph, while I love your kindness, it will only get you so far. Not everything can just be settled with simple words."

I shrugged. "Hey I managed somehow. I'm not dead yet as you can see; and I have the worst luck out of anyone here."

She and Uzume nodded their heads, which didn't make me feel any better.

"You do have a point there. I remember when Minaka issued that special contest for the sector ashikabi and you just so happen to encounter the Discipline Squad on your stroll," Uzume reminded. Part of my spine started to ache at the memory of that fight.

"Hey I still survived at least thanks to you girls. That counts for something."

"Not really," Uzume replied. I sighed and waved her off.

"Anyway, Tsukiumi, do you see what I'm saying?"

"In a way," she replied. "However, I still demand that she apologizes."

"Fine," I replied and turned to Kai.

"Kai; I don't mean to sound rude, but will Kuruse please apologize to Tsukiumi?"

He silently nodded and stared at the trident user, who groaned and walked forward. She bowed to Tsukiumi.

"I apologize for almost hitting you with my weapon; it was an honest mistake."

Tsukiumi nodded her head in acceptance. "Apology accepted."

Kuruse spun around and went back to Kai.

"Hey Ren!" Someone else called out. We all turned towards the voice and saw Matsu, along with Jason and Chiho, walking towards us.

"Hey Matsu, what's up?" I asked.

"Nothing much; I just needed to discuss some things with you," she replied. Her sights then fell on Kai.

"Hey Kai, nice to see you again."

He simply nodded, but the rest of us became completely flabbergasted. Our mouths dropped to the ground.

"Hold on, you two know each other?" I interrogated. Kai nodded again.

"Yeah, I've known about him for a long time. You see, I've asked him for his assistance," Matsu explained.

"Assistance with what?" I asked. She fixed her glasses.

"Remember that plan I accidently talked about? Kai here is going to help us put it into action."

"I've only agreed to help if it's actually worth my time. Matsu said you and Jason were to fight me, and if you impress me, I would help out," he elaborated. Jason and I perked up at the statement, but we slowly turned our heads to the brain-type.

"Oh, so you said we were to fight him huh?" I questioned. She laughed nervously while hiding behind Uzume.

"It was the only thing I could think of, just give it a try."

"Why do you want us to fight?" I asked Kai.

"If I'm going to be working with someone, I at least want to know how competent they are. I already know how smart you are, but I'm not sure about the other one," he responded.

"I'm not a fighter. I just support my teammates," Jason stated. "Ren is the brawn and brains of this team."

Kai walked past us and stepped onto the shore. "Time for talk is over; let's get started."

Jason and I stood across from him, as the girls stayed on the sidelines. Kai stood completely calm with his arms crossed. I could tell Jason was nervous.

"You okay Jason?"

He nodded hesitantly. "I've never been in a fight before really. I guess that time with Kuno and Homura counts, but I was merely supporting my sekirei and you. I have no experience in fighting."

I nodded. "Then we'll work as team. Your defensive abilities can help me get in close."

"Hm, that's why your brains of the team," Jason responded. He prepared himself, as I continued to watch Kai, who hasn't moved an inch. He still kept the cool and collected look.

"Whenever you're ready," he told us. Jason and I looked at one another and nodded. He took off first and rushed Kai. I followed behind my partner, who started off big and chanted his phrase. He threw a punch at Kai, who suddenly vanished from our sights. I stopped in my tracks and saw Kai appear right in front of me. He threw a kick, but I ducked; however, he anticipated it and knocked me off my feet. I landed on my back and saw Kai coming down with his fist cocked back. Just as soon as he threw punch, Jason intercepted the blow.

"Told you I'm a supporter," he told Kai, who moved back a little and crossed his arms again. He didn't say a word and analyzed us. I got back on my feet and shook some of the sand away.

"He definitely is strong; we've only just begun and I can already see how much stronger he is."

"What should we do then?" Jason asked.

"We just have to keep trying," I answered. I started us off this time and charged at our opponent. I launched a mid-kick at his side, but he simply stepped back to avoid it. Continuing my assault, I threw a few punches, but Kai effortlessly dodged each one. I threw a kick, and he held up an arm to block it. Jason soon closed in and attacked as well, throwing a few punches, and then switching to kicks. Again, Kai easily dodged them. I joined in again to help Jason, but Kai was still able to dodge both assaults. He didn't use his arm and just twisted and turned his body. He danced around us and elbowed Kai in the back, then vanishing. I felt a kick crash into my back and sent me to the ground. Jason followed, as our cheerleaders called out our name. I heard Kuruse laughing.

"You'll have to do much better than that to beat Kai."

Jason and I got back up. We saw Kai returning to his carefree pose.

"Are you done yet?" He asked.

"Not even close," I responded. "We can tell you're much stronger than us, but we still have a shot. We don't necessarily have to beat you."

I chanted my phrase this time and vanished from my position. I reappeared behind Kai and threw a punch, but he tilted his head at the right angle and dodged it. I was surprised at how he knew. I kept attacking, but he anticipated all my strikes and avoided them all. Jason was just as surprised as I am. I threw one last punch, and Kai ducked and turned. He came up with an uppercut, but I used my speed to get away. I reappeared beside Jason.

"How did he do that?" He asked.

"I don't know; he could easily predict my next attack," I said. Kai turned around to face us.

"So you can increase your speed while Jason can increase his defense; but there's one thing you should know about me."

Suddenly, another kick crashed into my back, as it did Jason. We hit the ground once more and looked up to see Kai directly in front of us.

"Speed is my specialty. No one has ever matched me in speed; you are no exception."

He dashed back, as we stood up again. Jason rubbed his back.

"That one hurt. Any ideas Ren?"

I shook my head. "I've got nothing."

"Tch, Kai is really something," my partner replied. I nodded in agreement, but that's when it came to me.

"Crap, I forgot all about that ability."

He looked at me in confusion. I ran around in circle, kicking up a big dust cloud. When it blew away, I walked out with four clones. We all pounded our fist in a palm.

"Now it's time we turn to it up a notch," we stated in unison. Jason stepped up beside us. He took off first with my clones running after him. Jason threw a punch, which Kai blocked with his bare hand; however, my clones surrounded him and attacked at the same time. I took the opportunity to rush in as well, but suddenly, a kick connected with my face and sent me to the ground. Following up, my clones were being picked apart as Jason flew into me. We both groaned while my clones dematerialized and came back to me. I shook my head.

"Are you serious? He took out all six of us without breaking a sweat."

"Just how strong is this guy?" Jason asked. We hopped back up.

"Seriously, just give up already. It doesn't matter what you do, neither of you will be able to hit me. Actually, if you can manage that, I'll help you out. If you can't, oh well," Kai told us. I rushed around Kai at sonic speed, making afterimages appear around him. Even so, he stayed in the same place. I attacked from behind, but he stepped out of the way; however, I entered my circle and came back to attack. I missed again, but returned with another strike. Kai continued to dodge no matter how fast I attacked; he was able to keep up and outrun me. I attacked once more and ran him, throwing every kick and punch I could manage, but he still outmaneuvered them. He then turned around while throwing a high kick, but I blocked it with my wrist. Kai went on the offensive and threw a few swift but powerful punches. I deflected them and retaliated with a mid-kick.

Kai moved out of the way and threw a jab. I crossed my arms to block it and threw my own. Kai launched another, our fists colliding. We vanished and raced around the beach at lightning speed, continuing our assault. We appeared for a brief second before vanishing again and resume our race. I threw a punch, but Kai ducked and launched a kick. I blocked and vanished with him. We reappeared on the shore, throwing our fists and kicks even faster. Kai's speed was beyond incredible; he was able to keep up and even go above my own. He performed so flawlessly. He wasted no movements and kept his eyes focused solely on me. He didn't use heavy attacks, which made it hard to land a good hit. His movements were swift yet powerful. Speaking of which, a couple of punches made it through and hit me in the torso. I slid back and received a strong kick to the face. I slid across the sand and groaned in pain. I looked up and saw hovering above me.

"Whoa, I will admit, that was awesome," Jason said.

"You okay dad?" Chiho asked. I nodded and chuckled.

"Surprisingly."

I sat up and shook my head. I faced Kai, whose eyes were as wide as can be. I was confused as to why he's surprised, until I saw his hand covering his left cheek. That's when it started to become clear. I smiled wide and rose to my feet.

"I can't believe it. I actually did it."

"What?" Jason asked. I pointed to the surprised Kai, who had Kuruse around him. His expression calmed and he lowered his hand, revealing the bruise I landed on his cheek. Everyone gasped in surprised.

"You hit him Ren," Jason pointed out. Kai and Kuruse approached us.

"I must admit, that was a good counter. I didn't think you would be able to touch me, but I was wrong," Kai stated. "You have skill, but you still have a ways to go. I'm honestly impressed that you managed to land a hit."

"So does that mean you'll help us now?" Matsu asked. Kai let out a sigh.

"I suppose I can lend you my assistance; however, I am merely doing this because I too wish for this game to end. I don't want my girls to end up fighting one another so I'll help. You can count on me."

"Since Kai is helping, I have to help too," Kuruse said. "But you just got lucky; it won't happen again next time."

Tsukiumi stepped forward. "Don't underestimate my husband. He has proven to be a very competent and amazing ashikabi. He's also taken down thy's ashikabi with his strength."

Kuruse frowned at her. "He just got lucky like I said. Did you forget about the first few minutes of the fight? Kai wiped the floor with those two."

Tsukiumi growled at her. "It doesn't matter if thee is stronger, Ren clearly showed how skillful he is in combat."

The two shot lightning out of their eyes again, but Kai and I touched their respective crest and made them gasp. A bright red blush appeared on their cheeks, as the feeling in their legs dwindled. They fell back in our arms.

"Tsukiumi, we really need to work on your people skills."

Kai nodded with me. The girls narrowed their eyes at each other still and wrapped their arms around ours respectively.

"I don't see why we need thy's assistance, but my husband knows who to trust so I will trust his instincts. However, don't think thee will be safe from my wrath."

"We'll see whose wrath we'll face," Kuruse retorted. The lightning continued, as Kai and I let out a sigh. We all walked around the mainland, the water girls' feud still escalating.

A/N: That does it for another chapter. This one was actually kinda hard to write. Hopefully you guys will enjoy it. So yeah, Kai is now lending his assistance to the team. I hope you guys enjoyed the fight; I'm really terrible at scenes like that so I hope it doesn't bore you. Please let me know what you think of the chapter in a review or pm please; it would be greatly appreciated. If you have any ideas, constructive criticism, or questions, please let me know. With something to think about, this has been MalevolentDarkness16 and I will see you all next chapter. Take care.
