Chapter 53: Prior
Now that Kai have decided to join us with our mission, Jason and I have been trying to learn more about him. However, Kai is like a safe; he keeps his past locked up tight. We did learn something about Kai though. The guy is a complete chick magnet. I'm serious; he just draws girls to him. Wherever we go, Jason and I just see girls staring at Kai in infatuation. We don't know how he does it; and every time he looks at a group and smiles at them, they almost faint.
"I don't know why, but he reminds me of Homura," Jason told me. "Before she turned female."
I thought about it and agreed with his logic. "Yeah, what do you think would happen if Kai were to become a host like Homura?"
Jason shook his head. "Pretty much every host would be out of a job."
I nodded again in agreement. "Homura would have a powerful competition."
"Yes, I could never be a host," Jason responded.
"That reminds me, what all did you do yesterday Jason?" I asked. He shrugged his shoulders.
"Just some generic stuff."
One Day Prior Jason's P.O.V
After seeing Musubi tackle Raiden to ground, little Kusano ran into my stomach and hugged my torso.
"Yay! We're finally here big brother!"
I chuckled and ruffled her hair. "Yeah, we're finally here. Now we get to take a long break from fighting."
I saw Tsukiumi lift Musubi off of Ren and proceed to yell at her. Kazehana then joined in the mix, signaling me to leave. My girls all ran to the water, except for Homura. She sat under the umbrella and rested in a chair. I took a spot next to her.
"You don't want to go swimming Homura?" I asked.
"Not right now; I feel like relaxing," she responded.
"Oh okay, do you mind if I join you? I'll hang out with the girls later," I said.
She nodded. "Sure."
I smiled and placed her in my lap, making her blush brightly.
"W-What are you doing?"
I wrapped my arms around her waist. "I'm cuddling with you."
I rubbed her head, which she placed on my chest. I saw the blush on her face and smiled. Her skin felt so warm underneath mine, but it wasn't her fiery powers. Her skin brushed against mine, sending soft kisses around the areas it grazed. I rested my chin in her long silver hair, taking in her floral and delicate scent. It was stimulating, yet relaxing at the same time. I took a look at the two-piece swimsuit she wore, the outfit bringing out her arousing curves and voluptuous figure.
"You know you look really cute in a swimsuit Homura; I think it suits you."
Her blush brightened as a smile graced her lips.
"Thank you; I'm still getting used to this new body. Your sekirei dragged me to every store practically just to find me an outfit."
I kissed the top of her head. "I know the new change is hard to take in, but I think you're new look is really cute. It took me a while to adapt to it, but now I'm more comfortable around you."
I could see her eyes look up at me. "I honestly thought I would never have an ashikabi, let alone one who's a man."
I couldn't help but chuckle. "So I'm a man huh?"
She thumped me on the forehead, but I kept laughing.
"Don't be getting any bright ideas now."
I stopped laughing and cupped her cheeks. I placed my forehead against hers.
"Your appearance isn't the only thing that's changed. Your personality has also changed. Before, you acted all gentleman like, but now you're acting like my other girls. You're always looking for my attention."
She continued to blush and then hugged me, in which I hugged her back.
"Your sekirei and Ren's sekirei have affected me. Now I just can't stop thinking about spending time with you."
I tilted her head over and kissed her on the lips, making her fiery orange wings grow. We could feel a burning sensation course through our bodies, as I felt how soft her lips were. We've kissed multiple times, but this one felt better. I felt her hands rub my chest, going up, and then running through my hair. Her lips felt wonderful, and I could tell she didn't want to stop. Neither did I; however,
"Don't get TOO caught up in the moment you two," someone stated. We broke the kiss to face the interrupter, only to see a snickering Matsu wearing her signature grin.
"Oh no, please don't mind me. Continue on what you were doing."
Homura growled and attempted to light her on fire, but I quickly grabbed her arms and stopped her. She looked at me, as I gave her a peck on the lips.
"I got this."
I placed her head on my shoulder and calmed my nervous. I could still hear Matsu snickering.
"Matsu." I summoned my inner Grim Reaper and watched the demon point its death scythe at the brain-type, who froze in fear at the beast. The color faded from her skin, as my friend lifted her chin up with his scythe.
"Why did you have to ruin such a wonderful moment?"
She continued to shake. I called my friend back to let her respond.
"I-I'm sorry, but I never saw Homura that affectionate. I just wanted to see how happy she was; I didn't mean to interrupt, but from the way it looked, you two would've ended up in much more intimate position, ku, ku, ku."
With each laugh, she took a step back. I sent friend away, letting her breathe properly again.
"Man, you and Ren have become so scary now; I think Miya and Takehito taught you two a little too much. Also, where are Miya and Takehito? They didn't want to come have fun?"
"No, they decided to stay home," I told her.
"But then they'll be by them…oh," she replied smiling wide again. "Oh I see, well I can't wait to discuss this with them."
She laughed and walked away. Homura let out a sigh.
"I will never understand that girl."
"I doubt anyone will," I replied. She giggled at my retort.
"I've been thinking of using a brain scan, but I highly doubt even that will reveal the problem."
I nodded in agreement. "Better to just call her nuts and be done with it."
She nodded back and looked down at me, blushing in realization at our position. She hovered above me with a bikini strap falling down her arm. I could feel the unkemptness of my hair and see the slight ruffles in hers. I smiled at her.
"Hi."
She continued to blush, until we heard a camera shot and turned our heads. Homura blushed deeper at seeing Matsu with Kazehana, whom wielded the camera.
"Well isn't this sweet? Our Homura has become so bold since the change," Kazehana said. Matsu snickered, as Kazehana giggled. I saw the angry look on Homura's face and gave her a kiss on the cheek before she jumped off the chair, fixed her outfit, and ran after the busty single numbers. She threw fire at them while they simply laughed and ran away.
"Come back here so I can burn you!" Homura shouted. I laughed at the sight and hopped off the chair as well. I fixed my hair and then found Ren with Uzume and Chiho. He had his arm around his daughter's waist with some sort of blaster pointed at her head. Uzume had a high tech water gun pointed at Ren. I saw another gun floating behind the ashikabi and then thought of an idea. I silently walked around their vision and proceeded to the gun. As I came closer, I could hear their conversation.
"I think you've said enough baby," Ren pointed out. Uzume growled at him, causing me hold back my laughter.
"Don't call me that!" She shouted. "We are no longer lovers; you abandoned me a long time ago and left me all alone. Now you're back and have the nerve to call me that? You have no right!"
"Mom," Chiho whispered. Ren started laughing while I reached for the gun and filled it up.
"You see how your mother is Chiho? This is why she never told you. She didn't want to relive the pain anymore."
"Shut up! Stop clouding her mind," Uzume demanded. "It doesn't change the fact that you abandoned us when she was growing up."
Ren shot her in the leg with the blaster. Uzume dropped her gun and fell on her knees.
"Mom!" Chiho exclaimed. She attempted to struggle free, but Ren kept his grip tight. "No, let me go!"
"Don't lie to yourself honey, just be honest with your feelings," Ren said. Uzume glared daggers at him. I waited for the right moment to join in and fixed my expression to match the mood.
"I'm not lying. My heart and I want nothing to do with you," Uzume declared. Ren shook his head.
"Tsk, tsk, tsk; you're still lying to yourself. Oh well."
He aimed at Uzume again, the wife and daughter both letting out a gasp.
"Since you're so eager to be rid of me, how about I grant your final wish?"
Ren was about to take the shot, until,
"Drop the weapon, let my sister go, and walk away from my mom," I demanded. I touched the back of his head with my fun and did an imitational click. Ren began to chuckle.
"Ah Jason; I should've known you would come to your mom and sister's rescue."
"You should've stayed away…dad," I told him. Chiho turned to look at me.
"Jason, you knew about him as well?"
I nodded reluctantly. "I did, but I didn't tell you because I knew you were his target. I wanted to keep you safe so I kept it a secret. I'm sorry for not telling you, but protecting you was my only reason. Now let Chiho go dad. Unlike mom, I'm not afraid to shoot you, because after all, it was you who taught me how to be strong."
"Hm, ironic how the one you taught is now the one holding the gun at the back of your head. I see that you have grown a lot since I last saw you," Ren responded. "However, I'm afraid you still have much to learn."
Suddenly, water began to burst up, causing everyone to turn heads. However, I was shot in through the heart and fell in the water. My life was fading fast. I gasped loud when I saw Chiho floating lifelessly beside me. I grasped her hand and held it tight as my eyes began to fall. I saw Ren and Uzume on their knees still alive, but barely.
"I didn't think you had it in you," Ren told her. Everything turned dark, but I resisted the urge to burst out laughing.
"A lot of things have changed since you left," Uzume responded. I heard Ren chuckle again.
"Yes, it has been a long time, but even so, you're still as beautiful as ever."
I heard the two fall in the water, as we all rose back up and began laughing.
"That was awesome," Ren stated. We all nodded in agreement.
"I didn't even know what was happening," I responded. Soon, we heard a loud round of applause from the audience gathered. The four of us took a bow and laughed again. I took Chiho's hand again.
"Hey Ren, do you mind if Chiho and I take a stroll together?"
"Sure, go right ahead, but make sure she stays safe," he retorted.
"Yeah, yeah, I got it covered," I said. Chiho hugged her parents goodbye and walked with me around the beach. We let the water drench our feet, as Chiho happily skipped ahead of me, laughing happily. I couldn't help but smile at her happiness.
"Chiho, you're really happy aren't you?"
She giggled at me. "I am; it's the first time I've been to the beach."
"Oh, well are you having fun so far?" I asked back. She nodded happily and continued skipping in the water.
"I'm having so much fun. Earlier, mom, dad, and I made a sandcastle. That was the first time I've ever made one."
"Hmhm, you've been theirs for a couple of days and you're already use to calling them mom and dad," I pointed out. Chiho giggled again.
"Sometimes, I would accidentally call them mom and dad, but I don't think they noticed. I love spending time with them; it feels so nice to have a mom and dad again."
"Yeah, you've been a lot happier ever since they've adopted you. I'm glad to see you smiling," I said. We continued walking around the beach, feeling the nice breeze flow through.
"Jason," someone called out to me. Chiho and I turned around to see Yashima and Nanami.
"Hey girls, what's up?" I asked. The two began to blush slightly.
"Um, we were wondering if we could do something with you," Yashima requested. Nanami nodded in agreement.
"Sure, I don't mind; let's go drop Chiho off first," I replied. The girls smiled and linked their arms with mine. As the four of us walked to the mainland, Chiho kept giggling at us.
"Seriously, what's so funny?" I questioned. She stopped giggling.
"It's just, how are you and dad capable of tending to so many girls?"
I shrugged. "I'm not sure really. It's not easy let me tell you; I always have these seven competing for my attention."
Nanami and Yashima blushed a little more, as I wrapped my arms around them and hugged them tight.
"But I love them dearly. They're a part of me. If I lose one of them, then I lose that part of myself."
Nanami and Yashima smiled and rested their heads on my chest. Chiho smiled at my response.
"Ren is the same way; he cares for his sekirei deeply, and you are no exception. He cares for all of you."
She nodded. "I know. Dad is amazing; he has a very kind heart. I like how he likes to be goofy at times, but then turn completely serious the next. While I was still in the hospital, I would sometimes have nightmares about mom and dad that leave me crying. Dad always knows what to say; he would even sing me a song to help me sleep again."
I laughed at the story. "Sounds like something he would do."
"Yeah, he would sing me that lullaby whenever I asked him."
We walked onto the mainland, where we saw Uzume strolling by. Chiho hugged me goodbye and ran to her mother. Nanami and Yashima pulled on my arm to grab my attention.
"Oh, sorry about that; what do you girls want to do?" I asked. They answered that by pulling me along with them, guiding me to a hidden cave the two came across.
"Whoa, when did you girls find this?"
"After we all separated, Nanami and I wanted to explore a little. We found this cave after a while and checked the inside, but it's just a normal cave," Yashima explained. The three of us climbed some rocks and entered the cave. Yashima was right; the cave is just an average opening. I saw the girls sit down and patted the gap in between them. I wondered what they wanted to talk about and sat in the gap. The two drew their legs up to their chests and looked at me.
"What's the matter? Is everything all right?"
Nanami nodded her head, as did Yashima. I sighed. "That doesn't tell me anything. Come on, tell me what's wrong."
Yashima looked at her feet.
"Jason, what do you think of us?" Nanami finally spoke. I was surprised by her sudden question.
"Hold on, where is this coming from?"
Nanami didn't respond.
"Since we're taking a break before the start of the next phase, we want to know what you think of us," Yashima spoke up.
"What do I think? Well, I love you both. Yashima, you're very strong, kind, loyal, and pretty. I like it when we're together. You've showed me that I truly deserve to have you by my side; that I'm worthy enough for you. I love you Yashima, and no matter what happens from here on, I will continue to love you."
She blushed deeply at my declaration.
"Jason," she whispered. "I love you too. Ever since you've winged me, you've shown me nothing but kindness and love. You always know when something is bothering me and then you would cheer me up instantly. I love every moment we spend together, and I'm glad that I have someone like you as my ashikabi."
I smiled and placed my hand on her shoulder, turning her head back to me. I kissed her on the lips and then pulled her into a tight embrace. She rested her head on my shoulder. I kissed her once more and then turned to Nanami.
"Now it's your turn Nanami. As I told Yashima, I love you too. You may be a quite girl, but I can still tell that you love me deeply. I see that you care about everyone and love everyone. You've made a special place in my heart that will only acknowledge you. No matter what happens, no matter the challenges, I will always love you. I will always cherish you, care about you, and I will always be with you."
She blushed deeply as well. She was so stunned that she didn't have anything to say. I cupped her cheek and smiled at her. She came closer and pressed her lips against mine, wrapping her arms around my neck. When we pulled back, she rested her head on my shoulders.
"I love you too Jason. I've loved you ever since we've met, and every moment we spend together has been the best moments of my life."
I rubbed her back and then opened my arms out for Yashima. She joined in the hug, as she and Nanami kissed my cheek.
"We love you Kai, for now and forever."
We left the cave and walked around the shore with our fingers intertwined. The two then stepped in front of me and gave me one last hug, in which I hugged them back. However, soon, we heard shouting.
"Come back hither Musubi! Thee will pay for thy antics!" Tsukiumi shouted as she chased a giggling Musubi. The three of us looked on in wonder, but just decided to ignore it. I kissed the girls again before they headed off. I walked to the mainland and sat under an umbrella, resting on the cool sand. It felt nice to relax, feeling the cool sand underneath my skin, and letting my troubles disappear. Soon, I heard footsteps crunching towards me. I turned my head to see a blushing and embarrassed Kuno. I could tell she was embarrassed because I was staring intently as her cute bikini. The colors matched those on her blouse, bringing out her eyes brilliantly.
"Hey Kuno, want to sit with me?" I asked.
She hesitantly nodded to me and took a spot beside me. I could still see the blush on her cheeks, which I touched with my hand. She jumped in surprise, but didn't push me away. Instead, her blush brightened.
"Kuno; I know you have something to tell me. What's on your mind?"
She didn't respond at first and kept avoiding my gaze.
"J-Jason, wh-what do you th-think of me?" She asked.
"Hmm, you too huh?"
I stopped caressing her cheek and sat up, placing my hand on hers.
"Kuno; I think you are a very cute and kind sekirei. I know you don't like your fragility or daintiness, but that's what I love about you."
She gasped softly and turned her head to face me, where I kissed her on the lips. I separated and saw the surprised look she showed me.
"I love how dainty and fragile you are, because it reminds me of a beautiful flower. Yes, you remind me so much of a flower. You're beautiful and delicate, yet you also have this strong side to you. You're a sweet and innocent girl, and I always love it when you sing. You have an angelic appearance that sparks the feelings in others, but you're my angel. You're my siren, a beautiful being with an angelic voice. I love you Kuno, and I hope that you continue to sing for me."
Her blush covered her entire face as her eyes began to fill with tears. I brought my angel into a tight hug and felt her rest her head on my shoulder.
"Thank you Jason; I love you too. You've shown me just how great my life truly is. You're always making my heart race, showing me kindness and love, and making my life all the better. I don't like being away from you and it hurts me inside. I love being with you, despite my fragileness, you still care about me."
"Of course I care Kuno; I don't care if you are more fragile than the others, it's still you. As I said before, I love you, even if you are so delicate. I love you, and I will always love you.
I cupped her cheek and kissed her passionately, surprising her when I poked her lips with my tongue. She let me inside, and I felt the caves of her mouth. I made her join my dance, as we danced with each other's tongues. Kuno moaned softly and wrapped her arms around my neck. I dragged my hand around her torso and up her body. She let out a gasp when my hand ran over her breast. She pulled back and looked at me with a bright blush on her cheeks. I rubbed her hair and kissed her forehead.
"That's what I think about you Kuno."
She looked down, but I tilted her chin up and kissed her again.
"I love you."
She kissed my cheek. "I love you too."
We shared one more kiss before she left me alone. I went back to relaxing, but I started to feel drowsiness overcome me. The sand was now warm and soothing, the ocean waves were calm, and the air was peaceful. I smiled and just let my eyes fall. Soon, I found myself shocked and flabbergasted. I rubbed my eyes, but the sight was still there. I looked up and down with my mouth open agape. The sight before me was breathing taking, as long blonde hair flowed majestically. The person standing before me was just shorter. She was only dressed in an apron for some reason, but she had the figure of most my sekirei, Ikki to be more specific. Her large brown eyes glistened beautifully, as I marveled at her gorgeousness; however, she seemed awfully familiar to me. She was quite endowed, probably around the size of Nanami. She smiled at me, causing me to blush a little. She giggled and ran to me, throwing her arms around my neck and kissing me on the lips. Her chest pressed against me as she continued to kiss me.
When she pulled back, she giggled again. She rested her head on my shoulder, in which I wrapped my arms around her waist. She then looked up at me.
"Hello big brother," she greeted. My eyes nearly came out of their sockets.
"Ku?"
She giggled again and kissed me once more. I was shocked and confused at the same time. Ku pulled back and smiled at me.
"Big brother, I love you. I would ask you to make me your bride, but big sis Ikki got to you. Even so, I will still love you very much. No matter the dangers that follow, my heart will always be with you big brother; I love you."
She walked closer and pressed her lips to mine. I've noticed how soft her lips felt and instinctively pulled her closer to me. Ku placed her hands on my chest and pressed her face closer to deepen the kiss. Soon, we separated, and I placed Ku's head on my shoulder. I hugged her tight.
"Ku; I will always love you. I will always cherish you. No matter what happens, I will always be there for you. You've helped me get over the loss of my little sister, and I've been grateful for it. I love seeing that smiling face, that happy smile, and that adorable appearance. No matter what happens from here on Ku; I will always love you, for now and forever."
Ku smiled beautifully at me. "I will always love you too big brother."
She kissed me one last time before she disappeared.
I opened my eyes to see the shade. The sun was now beginning to set. I yawned, sat up, and stretched out. I soon heard a soft snoring and turned my head to see little Kusano sleeping soundly beside me. She gripped my trunks tightly. I couldn't help but smile at her cute sleeping form.
"Mmm, big brother; I love you," she whispered. I chuckled softly and tried to pry her hand off; however, she had a tight grip. I scratched my head, thinking of a way to get her off.
"She's not going to let go any time soon," someone else stated. I turned back around and saw Kaho sitting beside me. I picked Ku up and placed her on my lap, causing her to stir softly.
"Kaho, what happened?"
She scooted next to me and rested her head on my shoulder. I looked down at her nice white two-piece bikini that showed a lot of cleavage. I found myself turning red at the sight, but shook it away.
"Well, Yashima and the others told us how their declaration went and so Ku and I figured we should declare ours. However, we found you asleep. We didn't want to wake you so we just rested beside you."
"Oh, well I guess you want to know the same thing right?" I asked back.
"Yes, I would like to know what you think about me," she responded. I wrapped my arm around her waist and kissed her lips when she looked up at me.
"As I told the others so far, I love you with all my heart. Kaho, you're very beautiful, strong, and compassionate. I always find myself staring at your beauty. When I watch you fight, I always stare at you, amazed at your grace and skills. You have an unwavering resolve with a strong warrior's sense of pride. That's what I love about you Kaho; your unwavering resolve and warrior pride. You make me happy to be your ashikabi, to be your destined one. I hope you never regret your choice and will continue to be my sekirei, to be my girl."
She looked at me with an appalled stare. A bright blush formed on her cheeks. I gently caressed one and kissed her lips. "I love you Kaho, never forget that."
She quickly kissed me again and wrapped her arms around my neck, as I wrapped one around her waist. She ended up pushing us down with her resting on my chest. She stopped the kiss and looked at me.
"I love you. I knew I truly found my ashikabi when I saw you and Ren that day. I knew you were the one I've been looking for. Seeing you that day made my heart beat faster than never before. I could feel our connection even though we just laid eyes on one another. Our bond was strong, and it's grown even stronger since then. Every moment I've spend with you has been the happiest moments of my life. You've shown me unbelievable kindness, fierce determination, and undying love. That's what I love about you. You've made me happy to be your sekirei and never, will I regret becoming yours. Becoming your sekirei, your girl, is one of best choices I've made; and I will never look back on it."
I caressed her cheek once more before pulling her head down for another kiss. She nuzzled against me, as we forgot about the little blonde somehow still sleeping on my lap. Kaho became bolder and touched my lips with her tongue. I accepted her request, and we started a tongue battle. Kaho won out in the end and continued to drag her tongue around the walls of my mouth. When oxygen was needed, Kaho pulled back, as we panted heavily. I cupped her cheeks.
"No matter what Kaho, we'll always be together; and when the sekirei plan is over, I promise to grant the wish you've all been wanting. I promise, so please, wait until then, okay?"
She nodded. "I understand. Then let me say it once more. I love you. I will always love you and be with you, from now and forever."
We shared one final kiss before heading to the resort. The rest of the girls met up with us, and Ku finally woke up from her slumber.
"Hey Jason," someone called out to me. We all turned to see Uzume and Chiho making their way towards us.
"Hey Uzume, Chiho; what's up?" I asked back.
"Jason; Ren is making a romantic dinner for us, and I wanted to know if Chiho could stay with you during," Uzume explained. I shrugged.
"Sure, I don't mind keeping her company while you all have fun."
She clapped her hands together. "Great, thanks Jason. I'll let you have her when it's time."
"No problem," the mom and daughter left us behind, as we headed inside. We traveled through the halls, trying to find our room, but we kept getting lost. Even Homura had no idea where to go. We continued walking until we got most of the layout memorized, but then a delectable aroma entered our nostrils.
"Oh wow, what is that awesome smell?" Ikki asked.
"I don't know, but it smells incredible," I replied. The girls smiled and 'Mmmm' in agreement. We followed our nose until we reach a big double door. The smell was much intoxicating, but the door was locked. I could see some of my sekirei's mouths water, as did mine a little.
"Man, I wonder who's cooking in there."
As if on cue, Ren opened the doors with his sinister hydra roaring at us. My sekirei hid behind me as I took the assault.
"Sorry for eavesdropping Ren, but the smell was too enticing," I told him. He sent his hydra away, calming my sekirei down.
"It's okay, sorry about the sudden scare. I'm cooking for my girls so I really need to get back."
"Yeah, Uzume told me about it. We're more than happy to take Chiho off your hands while you all have fun," I responded.
"Thanks, I appreciate it," he replied. Suddenly, my girls, except Homura, stepped in front of him. I could tell by the way they clapped their hands together and stared at him that they wanted something.
"I'll only make sweets for you, but meals are out of the question. I'll send a clone to deliver them when we're finished in here," Ren reassured them.
"Yes, thank you," the girls stated. Kusano hugged his legs and ran off with the others. I waved bye and followed after them.
"I can't wait to try them," Ikki stated.
"Yeah, Miya taught Ren and Akitsu a little cooking tips while they were staying with us. I bet his girls are going to be amazed," I replied. We tried finding our room again, but still couldn't find it.
"Having troubles finding your room?" Matsu asked appearing from the room she and her other sister teammates shared with Ren.
"Yes, can you tell us where it is?" I asked. She started snickering and pointed at me.
"It's right behind you."
We all snapped towards it and laughed nervously.
"Thanks Matsu; we appreciate the help," I said. She laughed again.
"No problem, now if you excuse me, I have a dinner date to prepare for."
"Have fun," I responded. She smiled wide.
"Oh I will."
She went back in her room, as we entered ours. The room consisted of a two bedroom, one bathroom complex.
"Man, I'm glad we found it; I thought we would've been lost for a while," I pointed out.
"Yeah, but now we can get our bath," Ikki responded. The girls all went to grab some clean clothes, but Homura stayed behind.
"You're not going to join them Homura?" I asked. She blushed a little and walked into the living room.
"Um, well, I just wanted to know if you had a minute so we could talk about something."
"You want to know what I think about you don't you?" I sat down on the couch and motioned for her to sit beside me. She did so and continued to blush.
"I-I've been hanging around the others a lot recently… and they've kinda infected me. So, um, you already know my question, but Jason, what…do you think…about me?"
I thought about her question. "What do I think? I love you."
She snapped her head towards me.
"You're stylish, you're reliable. I admire you a lot when you were still a man, and now I love you with all my heart. That day Ren and I rescued Kuno; you, Ku, and Ikki saved us. I'm really grateful for that help, thank you very much."
She smiled and looked at her feet.
"I see. That makes me happy."
"I was really happy too. To see that the things you did weren't for nothing," I smiled back at her.
"Jason," she whispered. I placed my palm on top of hers.
"I'm glad to have you as my sekirei. I'm happy that you've accepted me, and I promise to repay every act of kindness you've shown me. I won't leave you alone, no matter how much you might want to get rid of me."
I laughed at the end and hugged Homura tight. She hugged me back and rested her head on my shoulder.
"Thank you Jason, that means so much me."
"You're welcome; I'll continue to love you, throughout all our problems," I reassured her and cupped her cheeks. We stared into each other's eyes.
"I love you," we declared and kissed. Homura gave me one more hug before leaving to join her sisters. I relaxed on the couch, waiting for my bath to come around. Soon, Shi exited the bathroom in her usual clothes. She approached and sat down beside me.
"Hey Shi; I guess you want your declaration out of the way?"
She simply nodded with a bright blush on her cheeks. I let out a sigh at the tediousness, but I can see why they're doing this. I cupped Shi's cheek and kissed her passionately on the lips. I grasped her hand, intertwined our fingers, and separated our lips.
"Shi; I'm just going to be blunt with you. I love you. I know we didn't meet on more appropriate terms, but I don't care about that. I still love you. You mean so much to me, and I refuse to let anything happen to you. I know things have been hard for you, but I swear Shi that I will help you get over it. I will help you remove the pain."
I kissed her again and pulled her closer. She relaxed against me and guided my hand to her breast. I stopped the kiss to look at her.
"We can't Shi; it's too early, but once the sekirei plan is over, I promise to grant your wish. Can you wait that long?"
She looked down and slowly nodded her head, which I tilted back up and kissed her again.
"Don't be sad Shi; I promise to make your wish come true, just wait a little longer, okay?"
She nodded again, and I gave her another kiss.
"While I'm in the bath, tell the girls we're going to play a game. You may just get lucky."
I kissed her once more and gathered my clean clothes. When the rest of the girls came out, I entered the bath and washed myself clean. I thought over the recent confessions I told my sekirei. Now there's only one left. After I finished my bath, I found my girls still in the living room.
"Jason, what's this game we're playing?" Ikki asked. I smiled at the question.
"Oh just a game of Truth or Dare. It should be fun."
"Sure, let's play," Ikki stated. The girls got in a circle, but someone knocked at our door. I answered it and saw Chiho and most likely a clone of Ren with a silver platter in his hands.
"Hey Jason," Chiho hugged me. I hugged her back and accepted the platter. The clone bowed and suddenly vanished. I closed the door and shrugged my shoulders.
"Hey girls, the sweets are here," I told them. Chiho sat beside me in the circle as I placed the platter in the center, taking the lid off to reveal some chocolate striped pastries. The girls' mouths began to water from the aroma and appearance. They didn't waste any time and grabbed a pastries. They took their first bites and moaned in content.
"Mmm, this is fantastic," Ikki complimented.
"Absolutely delicious," Kaho stated.
"Ren really outdone himself," Homura commented.
"Mmm, great job dad," Chiho said. I sent him a text about the pastries, which we all so happily enjoyed. I filled Chiho in on what we're about to do and grabbed an empty bottle for the spinner.
"Alright, are we all ready?" I asked. They all nodded, and I started the game off. We played for a lest a good hour or so until stopping. Since Ku and Chiho were present, we had to dial the dares a little back. Well that and I didn't want Ren and Uzume to kill me.
"So what do you all want to do now?"
They shrugged their shoulders.
"I don't have anything either."
Suddenly, I got a text from Ren.
"Huh?" I said.
"What? What did Ren send you?" Ikki asked.
"He wants me to set up a stage for him and Akitsu," I responded.
"Huh?" They said. I nodded.
"Yeah, he wants me to set up a stage; I guess he's going to perform for us."
"Oh, well that should be nice," Ikki stated. I thought about the event.
"Yeah, I bet it will. Let's go set the stage up."
The others agreed and we all headed outside to work. It took a while, meaning we had no idea where most of the equipment is, but we managed to complete the task. Ku and Chiho dropped to the sand in exhaustion, as I finished placing the microphones on the stand. I stepped off to see our work and nodded.
"Alright, great job everyone."
I helped the little ones stand and messaged Ren on our completion. His sekirei soon showed up, along with Seo and the lightning twins.
"Hey kid, what's going on here?" Seo asked me.
"Ren and Akitsu are going to perform for us," I explained.
"What really? Now this I have to see," he stated. Ren and Akitsu walked towards us. I could tell Akitsu was very nervous, even though she didn't show it. The two hopped on stage, where Ren asked the twins to backup for them. Surprisingly, the twins agreed and joined the performers. After Ren managed to help Akitsu calm down, he started up the music. It didn't take long for my brain to recognize the song. (Same song from Melody from Heaven chapter: Bring Me to Life)
When Akitsu said her first lyrics, everyone, including me was flabbergasted. She sung so angelically, her voice mesmerizing. She danced gracefully around the stage, as her voice continued to sing beautifully. I could see the happy smile on Ren's face as he watched his sekirei dance and sing.
When the performance was over, the singers took a bow, and the lead singer was hugged by some of her sisters.
"That was amazing Akitsu; I never knew you could sing so beautifully," Uzume complimented. Akitsu blushed the entire time while her sisters complimented her on the performance. Ren walked over to me and whispered a plan in my ear.
"Great minds think alike; I was thinking of doing the exact same thing with Ikki," I told him. He nodded, and I grabbed the stereo with the docking station. I walked to Ikki and grasped her hand.
"Let's go Ikki; we have something important to take care of."
"Um, okay, care to explain?" She asked.
"Nope," I laughed. I bid farewell to my other sekirei and dragged my fiancé to the location I was provided with.
"Jason, what are we doing?"
"Still not telling," I replied. I made sure to keep the stereo hidden so she couldn't see it.
"Why won't you tell me?"
"If I did tell you, it would ruin the surprise. Just bear with it until then; I promise you'll love it," I reassured her. She let out a sigh and stepped in front of me to stop, but I picked her up and slung her over my shoulder and continued walking. She pounded my back, demanding I put her down, but it made me heat up, as her buttocks was inches away from my face, shifting with every motion.
"Ikki, please calm down; I will tell you when we get there. Just relax okay?"
She stopped hitting my back and dropped down. She took my arm and walked with me again.
"Fine, I'll take your word for it."
I smiled and kissed her cheek.
"Thank you kindly."
We arrived at our destination, a secluded area surrounded by rocks with a large pond created from the branching water. The tall rocks made the moonlight bounce off and hit the water, giving the area that crystal like appearance. Ikki marveled at its beauty.
"Wow, this place is so beautiful."
"Thanks for the compliment," Ren stated with Akitsu sitting beside him on a large flat boulder. The two hopped off and approached us.
"Did you bring it?" Ren asked me. I showed him the stereo, as he pulled out two microphones.
"Alright, let's do this," I replied.
"Wait a minute, what's going on here?" Ikki questioned. I kissed her cheek again, making her blush, and stood beside Ren, who walked Akitsu beside Ikki. He handed me a mic, and I set the stereo down.
"Ladies, as our first sekirei and love; we will be singing a song just for your ears," Ren told them.
"Really? Is this why you didn't tell me?" Ikki asked me. I rubbed the back of my head.
"I told you I didn't want to ruin the surprise. I wanted this song to be special."
She hugged me tight. "I love you."
"I love you too. Now relax and listen," I responded. Ikki kissed my cheek and walked back to Akitsu.
"You ready?" Ren asked.
"Oh yeah," I played the song, as we let the melody sink into our lovers' ears. (The second and last song at the end of Melody from Heaven)
The song faded away as the last notes play. Ren and I high-fived each other and looked at our lovers, seeing tears streaming down their cheeks. They sniffled, wiped them away, and smiled back us. The girls ran into our arms and buried their heads in our chest.
"That was the most amazing thing you've ever said to us. Thank you guys, so much; we love you so much," Ikki declared. I titled her head up and kissed her lips while Ren continued to embrace Akitsu. I grabbed the stereo and left with Ikki, hand-in-hand.
"That was amazing Jason."
She stepped in front of me and kissed me passionately. "Thank you. You're the best."
I rubbed the back of my head again. "Well I don't know about the best, but I try."
Ikki shook her head and gave me a peck on the lips. "You are the best. We've been together for a long time now, and I've watched you grow stronger and stronger. The first day we met, I honestly thought you were just some random kid, but you proved me wrong when you helped me."
I was not smiling at her, mostly because she called me a kid. "So you thought I was a kid huh?"
"No, I don't mean like that; I mean,"
"No, no, I know what you meant. Apparently, I'm just a little kid to you," I cut her off. I started walking away.
"Jason, you know I think of you like that," Ikki followed, trying to calm the matter.
"Yeah right, do you know how hard it was to speak to you? I had to dodge lightning crashes and everything to get to you. Would a little kid do that? I think not," I retorted. Suddenly, she tackled me to the ground and straddled my waist.
"Ugh, I got sand in my mouth," I mumbled. I turned my head to spit the sand out and felt Ikki wrap her arms around my neck, resting her head on my shoulder.
"Jason, you know I love you. I don't see you as a little kid, but as my husband. You mean so much to me, and I'm sorry if I hurt you."
"So you don't see me as some kid?" I asked back. Ikki showed me the ring I gave her.
"Who gave me this ring?"
"I did," I answered.
"So if I'm wearing it, what was my answer to your proposal?"
"Yes."
"That's right; and what does this make us? No, scratch that. What will this make us in the future?"
I flipped over to see her hovering above me. "Husband and wife, but we still need to have the ceremony."
She straddled my waist again. "Yes, but how can we do that if my fiancé doubts me?"
"I never said I doubted you; I just wanted to see what you think of me. I've been telling the others that all day."
Ikki gave me a kiss on the lips. "Then what do you think of me?"
I cupped her cheek and caressed them gently. "I think you are an incredible, strong, kind, and beautiful woman. When I first saw you, I was stricken by your beauty and grace. The way you fought the twins off with your twin kodachi was simply beautiful. However, at that time, I thought you wouldn't want someone as pathetic as me."
"Don't say that Jason; you're far from pathetic. You're amazing," she contradicted.
"How am I amazing? All I've got going for me are looks and personality. You on the other hand, have so much more. You're strong, smart, confident, really beautiful, and is overall just an amazing woman. How am I anywhere near someone you want to be with?"
She answered that by showing me her ring again. "I chose you as my ashikabi. You would've left, but I stopped you and became yours. That started our journey. Then you helped me save Ku, you helped Ren save Kuno, saved Shi from her abusive ashikabi, rescued Yashima, Nanami, and Homura, and fought alongside Kaho to fight the Discipline Squad. You're amazing Jason; and you know that. Who helped Ren after that Yamato incident?"
"Akitsu," I answered. She held up a finger.
"Who was the one that helped first?"
I sighed. "Me."
"Who reunited Ku with Shiina?"
"Well technically, they ran into each other."
"Jason," she said sternly. I sighed again.
"Me."
She showed me her ring once more. "Who proposed to me, swore their undying love to me, made love to me, just serenaded me, and loves me with all their heart? Who's the one I love most, cherish the most, and makes me happy the most?"
We stayed quiet for a while. We gazed into each other's eyes until I broke the silence. "Me."
She brought her face inches from mine. "That's right." She pressed her lips to mine and placed her hand on my cheeks, deepening our kiss. I wrapped my arms around her waist and pulled her closer, rubbing her back. I felt her fingers run through my hair. Soon, we had to pull away to breathe in air.
"I love you Jason; I will never stop loving you. We'll be together, for now and forever."
I caressed her cheek. "After the sekirei plan is over, let's have our ceremony and enter the path of marriage."
I sat up and picked her up with me. I carried her all the way back to the mainland and our room bridal style. The others were sleeping thankfully so I carried my fiancé to the empty room we shared. Inside, I stroked her cheek and kissed her lips. She was cut off, as I slowly started to move my lips on hers. Our lips moved in time with each other, and she raised her hands up to my hair and tangled her fingers in it. Her other hand pulled up to my face and cupped touched cheek. Ikki raised up my shirt and slowly started to feel my body. I moved from her lips to her neck thrusting her onto my thighs. I placed my hands on Ikki's lower back, slipping one hand down the back of her nice, long legs..
"I - Love - You" Ikki panted through the hard kissing and touching. She peeled off her dress and pressed her chest against mine, slowly running her hand over my crotch. I started kissing her jaw line, leaning over her as I did so. I moved from her throat, down to her collar, and then kissing her breasts. I touched her body so gently and passionately. Ikki smiled at me when I gently kissed her stomach, She pulled off my lounge pant, then off came my t-shirt. Ikki sat up and continued to rub my member one hand, using the other to run her fingers over his stomach. I then climbed on top of her and turned her head to the side, slowly licking her neck. Ikki moaned and smiled, as our faces floated inches away from each other.
"I love you," we declared and kissed once more.

I hope you all like the declarations; I will admit that those were just something to make the chapter flow better; it wasn't my intentional plan, but oh well.
