Chapter 64: The Assault Pt. 1

Akira's P.O.V

I snuck around the shadows with my team. From what I remember, my team consists of Kai's Saki, Natsu, and Kuruse. I've known about Kai's girls for a while, but I never thought they would help out in something this huge. It makes me wonder what they're capable of; I'm thinking of some supernatural prowess. Why else would they come along with us?

"Akira, what's up?" Saki asked me silently. I snapped out of my thoughts at her voice and faced my group.

"Oh, sorry about that; I was just thinking about this whole plan. You see, with Kai, Ren, and that Jacob here, along with you girls, I'm just wondering what I could possibly do."

"What are you talking about?" Natsu questioned. "There are plenty you can do. Kai specifically enlisted your help so that means he knows you would be a great asset to the team."

"Then what is he hiding about you all? I know there's something weird here with all these women. I'm not saying anything is wrong with it, but I doubt no man would ignore why women that sextuple the male population of this group is risking this fight. The weapons, the knowledge you all possess; you are not ordinary women ae you?" I questioned. The girls looked at one another, thinking of how they can go about my inquiry. I watched them talk this over as we followed the main group, Kai, Ren, Yahan, and Kazehana. Once I assumed they found their answer, Natsu spoke up again.

"Akira; we're sorry to say this, but it's best for you, Kai, and everyone else that you don't know."

That was the piece I needed to hear.

"So that explains it; you're all those sekirei I saw on TV that one day," I responded. They gasped softly at my response. "I saw it on TV, the match between the two sector ashikabi. I remember seeing Ren beat Higa and then their sekirei take the field. You are also sekirei; that's why you didn't want to tell me. Now it makes sense why Kai was so secretive about you all."

They looked at me in shock. I guess they forgot the fight was broadcasted in certain parts of the world; but a big question replayed over and over again in my mind. Why would they reveal something like to the world? What could be possibly gained from doing so? It doesn't make sense; but then again, he's the one who orchestrated the entire fiasco.

"Wow Akira; Kai told us your observation skills were incredible, but we didn't expect this. Well, you are correct; we don't why The Game Master decided to reveal us to the world, but I guess we can breathe healthier since we don't have to hide this fact," Saki responded.

"The Game Master has always been a complicated person," Kuruse stated. I could deny that and nodded in agreement; however, during my time abroad, I've learned some things that I didn't want to know.

"Akira, you alright?" Natsu broke me out of my thoughts.

"Huh? Oh, yeah; I'm okay, just thinking. What should I do after this operation? I was thinking of visiting my family; it's been a long time since I've seen them and I bet they're worried about me."

"That sounds like a good idea," Saki agreed. "Let's just hope this doesn't wake them up?"

"There will be plenty of that happening," Kuruse said, grabbing hold of the trident she possessed. I let out a soft sigh and eased my nerves. There wasn't time for second-guessing; I had a mission and I will see it through.

Don't worry; I'm on my way.

P.O.V Change Ren

My group sped into the East Sector. Our speed helped get to our destination as our "shadows" trailed behind and kept an eye out for interference. So far, it was smooth sailing, but I remained on guard. There was no telling if Higa had any surprises in store for us so we had to remain vigilant. We dashed through many buildings in the East before seeing the target come closer. We stopped to wait for the rest to catch up a bit and hid in the shadows. Yahan was the master at doing so since she controls said shadows. She and Kai split off from us to get in position while Kazehana stayed with me.

"Kazehana, are you ready for this? On my signal, we'll take to the sides and eliminate the guards; we'll dump their bodies in the bushes and such to avoid them being spotted." I informed her. She grasped my hand and squeezed it gently.

"I'm ready so long as you are."

I nodded back and went to Matsu's channel.

"Matsu, speak to me; what does it look like?"

"Hold on, I haven't drunk any yet," she responded. I waited a bit for what she said to click in my head.

"Wait a minute; you haven't done what now?" I questioned.

"I haven't drunken my juice yet," she responded.

"Juice? What does juice has to do with anything?" I asked.

"You don't know what juice I'm talking about do you?" she asked back.

"Uh, no I don't," I responded bluntly. Honestly, I didn't even want to know what kind of juice she's talking about, especially if she needed it before doing this. That's when I hear her signature laugh and feel a chill go down my spine.

"I'm drinking your semen," she stated. My eyes nearly bulged out of their sockets as a fierce red blush heated my face. Kazehana stared at me in confusion. "Whenever we have sex, I would sometimes bottle your cum and drink it at my leisure. It's quite satisfying really; I have like three other bottles in my and Yomi's room. She sometimes do it too by the way."

"WHAT THE HELL?!" I screamed. Kazehana suddenly pushed me to the ground and covered my mouth as she watched for any activity. She lowered herself closer.

"What's the matter with you? Are you trying to get us compromised?"

"Blame Matsu," I whispered back.

"Why?" I blushed even redder at the question and hesitated to say.

"Matsu has been preserving my semen for her leisure wine."

Kazehana simply stared at me with her mouth open agape. Even she didn't have anything to say about this.

"Wisdom of my pledge, bestow the teachings of the world, to my Ashikabi!" Matsu chanted. Kazehana let me sit up and watch for the others. "Access! Search!"

"Okay Matsu; now that you took a sip of your 'juice,' can you tell me what's going on now?" I asked again.

"No prob," my brain-type responded. "Let's see, there are a total of twenty guards around the perimeter, five on the sides, and the remaining ten around the front. From the way it looks, there's a lot of yukaza and triads there, probably paid a lot of money for their support. Only three of the guards carry a gun and there's one on all sides. Once you get close enough, I'll hack into his system long enough for you to stay undetected; however, I can only give you three minutes tops. You need to be quick."

"Okay you can stop right there for the moment," I responded. "Thanks for the heads up."

"Anytime, just don't question my methods," Matsu declared.

"Everything you do is questionable. Like for instance, why the hell did you bottle my hmph," Kazehana covered my mouth again and shushed me.

"Stop yelling," she ordered. "Can we head out now?"

I nodded and she released me. I inform everyone else of the situation and had the teams stay on standby. Kai and Yahan regrouped with us and followed us the remainder of the way. We soon split off again to tackle the guard situation on each side. Kazehana and I attacked swiftly and precisely. We made sure to hide the bodies so another guard wouldn't spot them. By the time we reached Yahan, Kai was already inside.

"Now it's up to him," I spoke up. Yahan giggled and placed a hand on her hip.

"He's got this. Kai's specialty is speed you know."

"But he only has a minute," I pointed out.

P.O.V Change Kai

I dash through the building, leaping and sliding over and under obstacles. I followed Matsu's directions to the best of my abilities, sneaking past the guards that roamed the floors. I can safely say that Ren's timing is spot on. The guards I pass seemed to be suffering from lack of sleep, which made it easier for me to run through without trouble; however, I was very low on time and had to move at full speed. Matsu informed me of the security room coming up on my right. I didn't waste time in getting my sword and making quick work of the door; however, a plethora of guards greeted me. They carried swords, bats with nails, and other kinds of weapons. They rushed me with their weapons ready. I only had a good ten seconds left and I couldn't let it slip. I just dashed through the guards, hacking and slashing away to disarm them. Once I made it to the control panels, I deactivated security the only way I could; slice the entire thing into pieces.

"Ren, it's done; but I'm going to be late regrouping with you," I informed the boss man.

"Why? What happened?" He asked.

"The security room was more guarded than expected. I need to take care of the problem before they alert the head of the building," I zoomed right past the guards, which surprised the group, as I closed the door and locked us inside. I closed my channel so I wouldn't distract the others and then grabbed the hilt of my blade. "I hate to do this to you all since you're not even fully awake; however, I can't risk being compromised. So let's just get this over with."

"Not without me you're not," a familiar voice stated. The group heard the voice and looked around, temporarily dropping their guard. That was when she took the chance to knock some of the guards unconscious.

"I could've handled it you know," I told her. She only giggled and emerged from the shadows again.

"I couldn't leave you alone because I know you would've just killed them all most likely," Yahan pointed out. I rushed forward and blocked an attack from a guard with a nailed bat. More soon charged at me, but Yahan intercepted them and used her specialized teleportation to strike a few down. I knocked my opponent away and slammed the back of my sword against his neck, sending him to the ground unconscious. The rest stepped back, a surprised face stuck on their faces. Their comrades lay at their feet and they could only stare in shock. A couple broke free of the paralysis and attacked us ferociously, but they were too slow to keep up and ended up just the same as the unconscious ones.

After dealing with the rest, Yahan and I silently exited the room and proceeded with our second task, helping the secondary group rescue the prisoners. Matsu gave us the location of the group, but they were so spread out that it will take a while to get them all. While we did that, Akira's group and Ren's group would take the fight upward. Yahan's ability really came in handy at this point since the entire place is dark.

P.O.V Change Jason

My group followed Ren and his group until we had to split up. So far, everything Matsu and Ren predicted came true. While the guard situation remained heavy, they proved to be more incompetent with the lack of sleep. There were so many of them that activity started to increase after we made it high enough, about the fifteenth floor. There were more waiting for us, but my group did their magic and took care of it as I acted as a wall of defense. Ren gave expert tactician advice, not missing a single mark; it was hard to understand how he's able to do it, but I can speak for everyone when I say we're lucky to have him. Even Ryan showed tremendous fighting skills; he fought off the triads using only his fists. His sekirei watched his back, a perfect combination as they worked in perfect harmony.

Once we made it to the right floor, Ryan and my group separated from Ren and Akira's group. Seo and Sanada's group followed them while we rushed through the corridors instructed by Ryan. He guided us through the hallways, the guards still not letting up. We had to get through them, but now they were more awake. Even so, we managed to get past them. I mostly worried for Kuno, but she seemed to do just fine. She's been doing work on her attacks after Matsu and Ren came up with a solution. The reason why Kuno becomes drained from using her powers is that she doesn't know how to pace herself and puts too much strain in her attacks. Ever since we've rescued Homura, Kuno has done her best to eliminate the weakness, making her a strong force.

"Jason, those under Higa's tyranny are kept around this vicinity. I don't think they're aware of us yet, but still proceed with caution," Ryan informed us.

"What are you going to do then?" I asked backed.

"There's someone I have to go get," he responded. "She's on a different floor, but that's not an issue."

"Well, I can't complain," I said.

"It's a little complicated," Ryan scratched his cheek while chuckling.

"You like her don't you?" Kaie questioned. That was my girls and my cue to stay out of this. Ryan blushed red at Kaie's question, which made a vein pop into her head, reminding us of Tsukiumi. "Alright spit it out; who is she?"

Ryan was in a pickle that much was certain. My team slowly backed away as Ryan's sekirei approached him closer.

"Ummm, well she's been a big help to me and is really nice," he nervously said. We could tell this wasn't going to end well. It was then my girls looked towards me. Unfortunately, I knew what they wanted, causing me to sigh sadly.

"Ryan, you better head on up then if you want to get to her in time. There's no telling how much longer of secrecy we have. You better go while we still have the advantage."

"Ah, right; thanks Jason. I better go," he immediately took off, which in turn, made his sekirei glare at me instead. I shrunk under the intense glare and pushed Ikki in front of me.

"Blame the girls; I'm the victim," I begged them. I looked over Ikki's shoulder, which I'm surprised I can with her being so damn tall, and saw that Kaie and Narashino have disappeared.

"They ran after Ryan," Midorino spoke up.

"Oh, then I'm safe," I breathed softly. However, I kept Ikki in front of me, much to her refusal.

"Hey I am not taking the hit here," she declared.

"I don't care; you're the ones who wanted me to bail him out," I pointed out.

"Whatever, let's just get on with this already," Oshino stated. The rest of Ryan's sekirei proceeded onward with us trailing behind.

"And just where the Hell do you think you're going?" Someone questioned. We all stopped in our tracks as we heard the interrogation. Standing before us was a slim young man with light colored hair dressed in a black top, which hugged his body, wrist length gloves, and ankle length black pants. There was a girl standing next to him. She had long black hair in pigtail style falling to her arms and wore a black summer gown with striped thigh length stockings. A choker was tied around her neck and a black rose tattoo rested on the left side of her chest.

"It seems the rats have been captured," the man stated with a sadistic smile. He pounded a fist in his open palm, the smack echoing through the hall. "I'm surprised you made it this far without being caught, but now it's time to teach you all a lesson."

"You can't possibly think you're strong enough to take us all on," Kaho stated, getting her weapon ready. The rest who carried weapons grabbed theirs as well and prepared themselves. "Even if you are a sekirei, we outnumber you six to one."

The man smiled wickedly.

"Is that so? Well you know every squad has a weakest link," he stated. Unintentionally, we all looked at Kuno for some reason. She saw us staring and gasped in surprise.

"You all think I'm the weakest? Jason?" She turned to me with teary eyes.

"Of course you're not the weakest Kuno," I told her. I then whispered to myself, "You're also not the strongest either."

I looked back at the duo that stopped us, only to see the man become a blur and disappear. We all looked stared in shock, but I suddenly felt a vehement punch crash into my face and send me flying all the way through the hall and into a wall. All the breath ran out of my lungs and left falling to the floor. All I heard was my girls yelling my name before I passed out.

P.O.V Change Ryan

I didn't want them to come with, but it was much too late. Kaie and Narashino followed me as I went to rescue her. I trusted Jason, his girls, and my girls would get those under Higa's reign free, but the one I wanted is in a different place. I was glad she didn't remember my interrogations, but actually getting her on my side would be another problem.

"Okay Ryan; it's time you told us what's going on," Kaie stated. "Who are you going to save?"

There was no use hiding it; they wouldn't stop anytime soon anyway.

"We're going to save Kochou," I stated. The two gasped in surprise.

"Kochou?" Narashino repeated. "Why are going to save Kakizaki's brain-type?"

"I think she'll be better off in someone else's hand. Someone better," I responded.

"I figured that's who you had your eye on," someone stated. The three of us ceased moving and looked around for the source of the voice. "I'm disappointed Ryan; I thought you were better than that."

I recognized the sound of the voice and frowned in response.

"Well what can I say? Kochou is a very beautiful woman. And you're disappointed? The feeling's mutual my friend. I've learned just what kind of man Higa is; he's only interested in surpassing his enemy. He doesn't care what he needs to do and will use whatever means it takes."

"I see," he replied. "And do you remember who saved you from near death?"

I tightened my fist and recalled the day perfectly.

"Of course I remember; how could I forget? He's the reason why I'm still here today."

"Exactly, then why do you defy him?" the man questioned.

"How about you show your face so I can tell you, Kakizaki?" I asked back. On cue, footsteps echoed through the hall, getting louder and louder the closer they became. Soon, the secretary of Higa stepped out from the shadows and showed his bespectacled face.

"Of all the people you had help you, you just had to involve the Ashikabi of the North."

"That's right. Originally, I was going to do this with my sekirei, but they wanted his help. I saw nothing wrong with it and accepted the agreement," I explained. "Besides, Higa has been targeting him for a while now. Technically, I've been doing you a favor; however, I'm not one to trick people like Higa. He can try to take Ren on again, but it will just end the same as last time."

"Oh? What makes you think my master haven't prepared for his arrival?" Kakizaki questioned.

"I never said that. I'm just saying that the results will be the same if they fought. Higa is no match for Ren," I stated. "They are opposites of the same coin with Ren being heads. While Ren is considerate, friendly, and trustworthy, Higa is a snake who will only throw away his resources the moment he doesn't need them anymore. I've had enough him; and if he wants to talk business, I'll pick up my last paycheck and go."

Kakizaki fixed his glasses.

"Sadly, you won't be going anywhere," he stated, his voice becoming more evil. "You're going to betray the master. You know what happens to those who are deemed traitorous, right?"

I frowned deeper at the question.

"Yeah, they are dealt with inconspicuously to avoid suspicion."

I then smiled. "However, how do you plan to take me out?"

It was Kakizaki's turn to smile. He removed his glasses and put them in a case and then his pocket. He stepped forward and removed his tie.

"I've wanted to go against you for a long time. You see Ryan, I'm not just some secretary," he said and cracked his knuckles. He stood across from me with a smug smile clear across his face. We both entered a fighting stance and gauged the other.

"Who would've thought you could fight? I'm honestly surprised," I spoke up. "But then again, I get to punch your face in so it's fine by me."

Kakizaki chuckled.

"Don't get so full of yourself; you have no idea how strong I am."

"Then I guess we're about to find out," I responded.

A/N: That seems like a good place to stop. I hope you all like the first part of the operation. I'm not sure how long it will be, but who cares really. Anyway, I'm sorry for the late update. School is still an ass kicker, but I can tank it. Let me know what you think of the chapter in a review or pm please. Stay tuned for the next chapter and I will see you all later. Thanks for reading, and take care.
