20 Things You Wish You Knew - Molly
Born on the 10th June 2003, Molly's full name is Molly Audrey Weasley.
Molly was born on her parent's third wedding anniversary, five minutes before her twin Lucy.
Her cousins call her Molls, as do the Longbottoms, Scamanders and Scorpius, but they are the only ones allowed to use this name. Not even the adults in the family can call her anything but Molly.
Molly is highly intelligent, making her a true Ravenclaw.
She inherited very little of her parents' courage, which leaves her insecure in herself. This fuels her strict and controlling nature.
Molly suffered from anxiety and depression throughout her teenage years, however her cousins helped to pull her through in the summer between her sixth and seventh years
As predicted by her entire family, Molly was both Ravenclaw Prefect and Head girl
Molly topped all her classes except DADA, which was the only class Lucy could beat her in.
Despite her straight-laced nature, Molly enjoyed Quidditch as much as her cousins, and even played reserve Keeper at school.
Her Godmother is her Aunt Hillary, her mother's sister.
Because her mum is a muggle primary school teacher, Molly went to muggle school before Hogwarts instead of being home schooled like almost all of her cousins.
Molly is remembered by all of her Professors as the only Head student to ever be able to even vaguely control the Weasley-Potter clan.
Like Dom, Molly started Healer training straight out of Hogwarts, and also trained with Madam Pomfrey two days a week.
Molly stayed at Hogwarts as the Junior Healer after she had finished her training, and eventually took over from Madam Pomfrey after she retired.
Molly had grown up knowing Frank Longbottom, who is only a year younger than her, however found herself falling in love with him as they worked together at Hogwarts. They got married on the 20th August 2025.
She and Frank have twins – Hannah Audrey and David Frank.
Molly is the Godmother of both Maryanne Johnston and Gabrielle Jacobson.
Molly worked closely with Neville Longbottom to make Hogwarts safe for Jessamine Scamander – Lily and Lysander's deaf daughter – and was instrumental in ensuring she got the same education as her cousins.
After Jessamine's graduation, Molly kept her as Junior Healer at Hogwarts, as she knew that it was a safe and familiar environment for her to work in.
Lily always says she is forever in debt to Molly for this, but Molly insists that they are even now, as Lily played a big part in helping her overcome and depression and anxiety as a teenager.
