A year after they broke up, Annabeth had a little girl, named Bella. Now Bella, cute sweet, is 9 and has been desperate for a father. She's been trying to find him since she was 6. We were headed towards the hospital in Brooklyn which is far away from this hospital in NYC (A/N: im not sure how far apart NYC and Brooklyn is but let's say they're far distance ok? ;P) Bella was whimpering a lot and was sweating like crazy. Then my phone rang.

That was our conversation. I looked up to find Annabeth looking at me with tears filling up in her eyes. I hugged her tight. She did the same. Then I kissed her head.

"She's gonna be ok." I comforted her calmly and gently. She nodded her head.

Then the truck stopped. Bella was pulled out and rushed into a room. The doctors were examining her until one approached us.

"Hello I'm Dr. Solace and you're daughter Bella will need an MRI. We think something has approached her brain that is causing her to be unmotionless ( is that even a word? Who cares.) You may stay the night of course but she may be in a coma for a couple days or- we don't know. Right now we're going to give her medicine to calm the sweating and hotness all over. To cool her down a bit. But her temperature won't change- depends actually. You will have to wait though. Im sorry." He explained.

Annabeth was a mess. Her hair was somewhat frizzy and she looked extremely tired and her eyes were red from tears. She was still crying. I hugged her and rested my chin in her head.

"You can go. I'll stay the night." She spoke up.

"What? No I can't leave." I rejected her request.

"No go. You need sleep and Rachel is probably waiting for you. Plus you work tomorrow. And-"

I kissed her. She did the same. When we let go she bit her lip and looked down but smiled.

"Are you sure? I'm taking day off tomorrow." I asked.

"Yes. I will see you tomorrow then." Annabeth replied.

"Ya. Bye." I waved.

She waved back. "Bye."

Rachel

Ok so Percy was gonna be gone a while. Like a long time. What am I supposed to do? I took a deep breath and sat down on Percy's couch. I folded my arms. I know. I picked up my phone and dialed a number
