Metallic clings and clangs echoed and strengthened around the warship until the noise was unbearable. Soundwave left his work station and followed the sounds intent on finding out what the scrap was going on. Commander (LORD! Don't you get it?! LORD!) Starscream couldn't be bothered, the stereos in his room effectively drowning out any other noise.
The intelligence officer passed a few Vehicons lying on the corridor floor and banging their helms against it and some that were banging theirs against the walls. He made a mental note to send them to the medical bay after he was through investigating the source of the racket -that is, if the drones lasted that long, or if he himself did. The third in command became weary in his steps as the noises grew louder (if that was even possible anymore). He opened the hangar bay door and stared at the scene, unimpressed.
Knock Out was leaning against something resembling a microphone stand and screaming on the top of his vocal box as his bulky companion was banging and clanging away on a set of empty Energon cubes and storage canisters. Two Vehicons (whom his internal search program identified as ST-3V3 and GR3G) were… strumming, to lack a better word, things that could be recognized as earth-based guitars. Around them, tons of amplifiers and wires zigzagged creating a mess.
"Oh, Soundwave! Perfect timing," Knock Out hummed happily, having cleared his voice box a bit. "We were thinking about forming the first Decepticon heavy metal band and rocking away the measly Autobots! We're missing a mixer. Up for the task?"
The spy 'Con walked over to them. He tilted his head and seemed to really contemplate the request.
"Well?" The medic urged.
Soundwave turned to one of the Vehicons, grabbed the guitar and slammed it into the closest amplifier. With the other one he crashed the so-called drum set and finally bent the microphone stand into a perfect little circle before dropping it to the floor by the doctor's pedes.
The band watched as the silent mech stomped out of the room to return to his work, in silence.
After the doors closed, Breakdown was the first one to speak: "Maybe he's into classical."
Reviews are highly appreciated! As well as ideas. :3
