You know, I think life on the Nemesis is quite boring, unless these two are on duty and causing trouble, consciously or not.

...Steve?...

Steve!

STEVE!

"...Hu...h...?" The drone turned his helm slowly, visor glowing a dim light of red, cheeks mimicking the glow.

"Snap out of it, ST-3V3!" His fellow 'con hollered, shaking the drone by his shoulders. "Snap. Out. Of. IT!"

"...Of... what?" The other questioned, helm lolling back and forth by the strength of the violent shaking.

"By the spark of Primus, ST-3V3! Come back!" Greg cried out, letting go of his comrade and punching the living daylights out of him. The other Vehicon met the floor with a deafening clang.

His visor flickered slightly, dimming to an almost nonexistent glow before brightening quickly. He shook his helm and glared at his friend. Steve got up onto his pedes and lifted a servo to his forehelm.

He looked at his friend dumbfounded. "Why did you hit me?"

"Oh good, you're back," Greg breathed. "For a moment I thought I had lost you completely."

"Why? What happened?"

"Nevermind why or what, forget everything. EVERYTHING. Whatever you do, don't try to re-"

"I think... I think I was talking to Lord Starscream, if I recall correctly. He had called me to the bridge to -"

"DON'T REMEMBER! DON'T REMEMBER!"

" -congratulate me. He said I was the best and most loyal servant to... serve... Lord... Sta-"

"Oh no, not again!" Greg wailed, burying his face in his servos and slumping against the wall.

Steve held a dreamy look on his face. "Lord Starscream congratulated me... I'm his favourite...! His favourite...!" He rejoiced, clasping his servos together and spinning around and around on the tips of his pedes. A happy hum like tune erupted from his voice box as the drone skipped fast down the corridor, other Vehicons passing staring at the drone before flattening themselves against the walls to steer clear of the singing, spinning, scarily smiling 'con.

Greg huffed exhausted. "Seriously, how long is he going to keep being like this? It has already been three days since he got called to the bridge!"

The humming echoed loudly around the Nemesis.

"Oh for the... STEVE! WAIT FOR ME!"
