Okay everybody, before we can get started with the chapter, I need to make a few points. First of all, I have a Deviantart account, and my ID is still the same name: LooneyAces. Second, the character, which explains the chapter's title, who is about to make her first appearance here in the Shattered Skies Universe belongs to a special friend of mine on Deviantart name LolaBunnyvsLexiBunny, so the character belongs to her. She has given me special permission to use her character because I discuss an idea with her. She recently open a FanFiction account, so please give her support. And finally, I decided to change some names to some of my characters in almost all of my stories. You'll noticed which characters I changed. Anyway, here's chapter 16 everybody.
Chapter 16: Lyndsey.
It's been one month since the Russos stayed at Daffy's place, and it is now Thanksgiving break for the students of McKimson High School. Anyway, the Russos are ready for the Russo family reunion since the Thanksgiving holiday is approaching. Anyway, Tina was at a date with Daffy at the Acme Diner, sharing a milkshake together.
"Hey, Tina. You wanna come with me and Bugs at the comic con in two days?" Daffy asked.
"I can't. My family reunion starts in two days and it will last till Thanksgiving. You can go with Bugs." Tina replied.
"Are you sure? I don't like going to events without you." Daffy asked.
"Don't worry about me. I'll be fine. Besides, it's not everyday you get to see all of your relatives. And you can meet some of my cousins this weekend." Tina said.
"That's true. Okay, Tina. I'll go with Bugs. I'll buy you something while I'm there." Daffy said.
"Thanks." Tina said.
Two days later...
The entire Russo family has gathered at Tina's house to celebrate their family reunion. Not every relative has arrive yet, but Tina is happy to see them. Her grandparents from both sides of the family, her little cousins, and of course, Victoria and Michael. Anyway, while the reunion was taking place, the doorbell rang. Frank goes to answer it. It was his sister, brother-in-law and his niece. Frank's niece had long brown hair, with a lavender headband. She had blue eyes, yelloe feathers, yellow beak and legs, and she is wearing a lavender tank top with a pink heart in the middle and a demin blue skirt. She immediately saw her cousin Tina.
"Tina!" Tina's cousin said.
Tina looked and saw her cousin approaching her.
"Lyndsey!" Tina greeted.
The two cousins hugged each other.
"How are you?" Tina asked.
"I'm fine. And you?" Lyndsey asked.
"I'm good. So how you been?" Tina asked.
"I'm doing pretty well. I made it to the cheerleading squad in my high school." Lyndsey said.
"Oh yeah, this is your first year in high school. Anyway, congratulations. I hope you become captain of the cheerleader team." Tina said.
"Thanks." Lyndsey said.
"How's your boyfriend?" Tina asked.
"Lucas is fine. Our one year anniversary is coming up." Lyndsey replied.
"That's nice." Tina said.
"What about you, do you have a boyfriend?" Lyndsey asked.
"Yeah. We've been dating for one year now." Tina said.
"That's sweet. What's his name?" Lyndsey asked.
"Daffy." Tina replied.
"Daffy...interesting name." Lyndsey said.
"I tell you, Lyndsey. I'm lucky to have a boyfriend like him." Tina said.
"Just like I." Lyndsey said.
The two girls start chit chatting, talking about recent events and girl stuff.
The next day, Tina decides to take Lyndsey on a tour of Acmetropolis now that they're old enough to roam on their own. Before they can do that, Tina needs to stop by at Daffy's house.
"Hi, Daffy." Tina greeted with a kiss.
"Hi, babe." Daffy greeted back. "How's your family reunion going?"
"It's going good." Tina replied. "I want you to meet my cousin, Lyndsey. Lyndsey, this is my boyfriend, Daffy."
"Nice to meet you." Daffy said offering his hand to shake.
"Nice to meet you. Say, you kinda look like my boyfriend back at home." Lyndsey said as she shook Daffy's hand.
"Really, you got a picture of him?" Daffy said.
"Yes." Lyndsey said as she takes out her cellphone.
Lyndsey looks through the photos on her phone and shows them to Daffy. Daffy couldn't believe the pictures.
"Let me guess...his name is Lucas Duck?" Daffy said.
"Wow, how'd you know?" Lyndsey said a little concern.
"That's my cousin. I guess you two go to school together." Daffy said.
"Wow." Tina said.
"How is Lucas by the way?" Daffy asked.
"He's fine." Lyndsey said.
"That's good. Anyway, Tina, I got you something from the comic con yesterday." Daffy said as hands Tina a bag.
Tina looks inside the bag.
"Sweet, you got me a Batman shirt. Thanks, babe." Tina said as she gives him a kiss.
"You're welcome." Daffy said.
"Anyway, you wanna come to the mall with us?" Tina asked.
"I can't. Bugs and I are going to Granny's house to do the yard work." Daffy replied. "But I'm sure Amanda would like to go. She's was visiting me today. She's inside the house right now. Let me go get her." Daffy said.
Daffy goes inside the house. After a few seconds, Daffy emerges back outside with Amanda behind him.
"Hi Tina." Amanda greeted with a hug.
"Hi, Amanda." Tina greeted back. "Amanda, I want you to meet my cousin, Lyndsey."
"Nice to meet you." Amanda said as she offer her hand to shake.
"Nice to meet you." Lyndsey said shaking Amanda's hand.
"I was wondering with you want to come with us to the mall? Not to mention giving Lyndsey a tour of the city." Tina asked.
"Well, you did the same for me when I moved here. Sure." Amanda answered.
"Great. Well, we better get going. Bye, Daffy." Tina said.
"You girls have fun." Daffy said.
With that, Tina, Amanda, and Lyndsey heads for the mall and the city. At the mall, they go to multiple stores, buying clothes, etc. Meanwhile, at another part of the mall, Angela, Beverly, Madison and their cheerleader friends, also Jock members, were also doing some shopping of their own. Beverly then noticed Tina, Amanda and Lyndsey in the distance.
"Loser alert." Beverly said.
The other girls noticed the three ducks.
"Who's that duck." Angela said noticing Lyndsey.
"I don't know, but we all know what to do, ladies." Madison said.
The girls starts approaching the three ducks. Amanda noticed them coming.
"Oh great, here comes trouble." Amanda said.
Tina and Lyndsey noticed the Jock girls approaching.
"Look who just came from the slums." Angela said.
"It's the Acmetropolis Tunelosers." Beverly said.
"And it seems they got a new member." Madison said.
The other girls snickered.
"Excuse me? Who the heck do you think you girls are?" Lyndsey said as her temper is rising.
"And what's it to you?" Beverly said.
"You better treat my cousin and her friend with respect." Lyndsey said.
"So, you're Tina's family. Well, that makes you part of them losers, even if you're not a member of their group." Madison said.
"Whatever, and by the way, I've heard about you. You're not the nicest cheerleaders I've seen. At least me and my cheerleader squad don't have personalites like yours." Lyndsey said.
"You, a cheerleader? Ha! Please, we're better and the prettiest than you." Beverly shouted.
"I'll make sure that my cheerleader squad hates you!" Lyndsey said.
"And we hate you even more!' Beverly shout back.
"It's not just me that hates you, my cousin will make sure that you and your group will be the most hated in the future." Lyndsey said.
"They're just jealous because cause we're more popular and have a better living than you." Beverly said.
"And you're jealous cause we're clever, strong, and I\we speak our minds. Unlike you all, who prefers buffed up punks like Jericho or Dash instead of nice weak people like Daffy or Lyndsey's boyfriend." Tina said.
"And that's not all. You're all rude and have altitude problems." Lyndsey said.
"Jericho is hot and sexy." Beverly said.
"At least Daffy is caring. He cares for me and will do anything for me." Tina said. "What does your punk does. Nothing." Tina said.
"Well I prefer men like Jericho. Unlike you, who prefers nerds. There's something wrong with you two." Beverly hissed.
"At least my boyfriend Lucas back at home has better talent than yours." Lyndsey said.
"Daffy may lose to Jericho in fights, but in the end, he will prevail." Tina said.
"And by the way, what's wrong with your tail? It looks like it has been ran over my a truck!" Lyndsey said.
"Ohh, you little..." Beverly hissed.
Beverly was about to slap Lyndsey in the face. Before she can do that, Amanda immediately drops her shopping and grabs Beverly's arm, twisting it. Beverly yelps in pain. The other girls backed off because they know what Amanda is capable of.
"Ow! Ow! I'm sorry! Let me go!" Beverly begging in pain.
Amanda had a stern look on her face, although her anger was building.
"Try to do something again! Try to do something again!" Amanda repeated.
"Ow! Ow! You're hurting me! Let go of my arm! I'll leave! Please don't break my wing!" Beverly begged with fear in her eyes and face and yelping in pain.
Amanda then shoved Beverly away towards the other girls. Beverly massaged her wing.
"Don't mess with me or my friends..." Amanda said coldly at Beverly and the other Jock girls. "Get moving!"
With that, the Jock girls retreated, leaving Amanda, Tina, and Lyndsey victorious.
"Wow, that was awesome, Amanda." Lyndsey said.
"Thanks. Tina would do the same thing for you and I." Amanda said.
"Yep. I tell you, Lyndsey, Amanda here is tough. She's like UFC champ Ronda Rousey." Tina said.
"Oh stop it, Tina. I was just defending my friends. It's no big deal." Amanda said.
"Well, now with all that commotion over, what do we do next?" Lyndsey asked.
"Let's continue giving you the tour and then we'll head home." Tina said.
"Okay." Lyndsey said.
With that, the three female ducks continue to give Lyndsey the tour around Acmetropolis before they start heading home. They stop my Daffy's house again. Daffy was with Bugs.
"Hi, babe." Tina greeted.
"Hey, babe. Don't kiss me, I'm sweaty and dirty." Daffy greeted back.
"Hi, Bugs." Tina greeted.
"Hi Tina." Bugs said.
"How was fun with Bugs doing the yardwork?" Tina said trying to play with Daffy.
"Hardy har har. It was hard work, but at least me and Bugs can use extra money besides getting our paychecks at the movie theater." Daffy replied. "So how was your day? Did you and Amanda give a nice tour of the city for your cousin Lyndsey?"
"It was great. And you won't believe what happen today." Tina said.
"Let's hear it." Daffy said.
"We encounter the Jock girls. Lyndsey bash at them. In the end, Amanda took care of everything.
"That's Amanda I know. Good job cuz." Daffy said.
"Yep, they'll make sure they won't mess with us in public." Amanda said.
"By the way, Lyndsey, we apoloized for the rude welcome by those girls. The Tunesquad has a bitter rivalry with them and their boyfriends." Daffy said.
"It's okay. Your cousin was awesome when she scared that Beverly girl. You should have seen the look on her face when she was scared." Lyndsey said.
"I'm already picturing it." Daffy said.
"Lyndsey, this is Bugs Bunny by the way." Tina said.
"Nice to meet you." Lyndsey said.
"Nice to meet you." Bugs said.
"Aren't you the grandson of Colonel Happy Rabbit?' Lyndsey asked.
"Yep. You wanna meet my grandfather? He's home right now." Bugs asked.
"It would be an honor." Lyndsey replied.
Bugs heads to his burrow. After a few seconds, Bugs came back with Happy.
"Hello Tina, Amanda, Daffy." Happy greeted.
"Hello Mr. Happy." Tina and Amanda greeted.
"Sir, I want you to meet my cousin Lyndsey." Tina said.
"Nice to meet you young lady." Happy said extending his hand to shake.
"It's an honor to meet you, Sir." Lyndsey said, shaking Happy's hand.
"She's dating my cousin." Daffy said.
"Really, Daffy? Who?" Happy asked.
"Lucas." Daffy replied.
"Ah, Lucas. How's he treating you?" Happy asked.
"He's fine. He's so caring." Lyndsey replied.
"Good, glad to hear it." Happy said. "Anyway, I better get back inside. I want to be able to get to bed early tonight. Old man doesn't have the energy he used to. Nice to meet you." Happy said.
With that, Happy heads back inside and Amanda heads inside Daffy's house.
"Well, Lyndsey and I better head home. I'll see later, babe." Tina said.
"Okay, Tina. I'll miss you." Daffy said.
"I miss you, too." Tina said as she and Daffy kiss each other goodbye.
"Bye, Daffy. Nice meeting you." Lyndsey said.
"Nice meeting you too. By the way, when you head back home, tell Lucas I said I got something to show him once he comes here for Christmas." Daffy said.
"No problem." Lyndsey said.
With that Tina and Lyndsey heads home.
Tina hang out with Lyndsey for the rest of the reunion and Lyndsey became friends with the Tunesquad and Toonsquad. After a few days, Lyndsey heads back to New Jersey and Tina goes back to her normal ways, mostly going to school and going out with Daffy.
