Wiping the sweat running down my face from practice, I placed my back against the bars of the fence. A sigh coming from my mouth as I looked over at the blond haired girl. She was with the blue haired underclassman as usual. They were chatting and laughing a bit, I felt envious of the younger girl. I was the one always by Elicchi's side but times had changed. I could sense we were no longer close anymore, not after what I did.

"Come on Honoka-chan~ Lets go buy drinks for everyone." I heard a certain sophomore called out. I looked over to spot Kotori dragging Honoka with her.

"Ehh? Wha- Wait… Kotori-chan~" The other complained as she ended up going along.

I chuckled slightly to myself watching the two girls disappear from my sight. Those two are really close. Now that I think about it… I'm the only person who is alone here. Everybody else had someone close to them. Eli has Umi, Nico has Maki, Hanayo has Rin, and Honoka has Kotori. Who did I have? Slouching against the bars I looked down at my feet. That's right, I didn't have anyone. After all I am the mother of μ's, I have to look after my children and help them grow as an individual.

I'M THE FOUNDING FATHER OF U'S

Founding father… huh? I snickered softly to myself. You're way too early to take the position as the "father" Honoka-chan.

"Okay! Lets get back to practice!" The archer announced as she clapped her hand. "Where are Honoka and Kotori?"

"They went to get drinks for us." I answered her question with a smile. Now that I think about it they are taking their time. Maybe they need some help carrying some drinks?

"I'll go get them." I volunteered to go fetch them. She nodded as I headed out the rooftop. I made my way through the hall. Hearing a loud bang I quickly turned the corner to reach my destination.

"Hono-" My voiced called out but died through the middle. I stood there, every limb unable to move as my eyes widen.

The two childhood friends had their lips locked together, one pinned to the machine. A sharp pain squeezed against my chest making it hard to breath. What was I doing? Of course they would develop this type of relationship. I need to let them be, but why is it that I am unable to move? I kept telling my body to leave before they realize I was here yet I was still frozen in place.

"Honoka-chan, you are mine and I'm not giving you to Nozomi-chan!" The gray-haired girl declared after breaking the kiss. Her eyes trailed off spotting me from the corner. Our eyes making contact as sweat slid down my face. Swallowing down some salvia I tried to moisten my dry throat.

"P-Practice is g-going to start… You two s-should hurry up." I managed to get those words out. Calm down Nozomi. I took a deep breath to get my composure back. "I'll help you guy carry the drinks" I smiled acting as normal as I could.

"Sure." Kotori smiled back as I walked towards the two girls.

"Honokacchi, what are you doing on the floor?" I questioned playing dumb.

The sophomore looked up at me. Her blue orbs meeting with my green ones. "Nozomi-chan… I-I-"

"You tired from practice? Geez, Honokacchi you should let your body rest once in a while. You're always pushing yourself too hard. Here." I offered my hand out. The pumpkin haired girl nodded and gripped her hand around mines, pulling herself from the floor. She was now facing me, body close to my own. We held hands for a bit longer.

"Ah, we really need to get the drinks and return back to practice." I quickly said realizing we were just standing there holding hands. Also the other sophomore was probably watching. "Umi-chan will get mad at us."

Letting go of the younger one's hand, I bend down to receive the drinks out from the machine. I handed three cans to each of the two girls, leaving me with also three cans. We headed back to the rooftop either of us said anything. The heavy awkward atmosphere made it hard to bring up a conversation.

"You guys sure took your sweet time." Umi said furrowing her eyebrows. "You know our live is coming up soon and we got to make sure tha-"

"Oh, come on Umi," Eli wrapped her arms around the younger one. "Don't need to be hard on them. It's good to give the body breaks, plus they brought us drinks."

The archer blushed heavily as her strict manner began to fade. "B-But E-Eli, the live."

"Its fine, we just need to work on synchronizing on some parts of the dance."

"S-Still…"

"Relax a bit." The older girl blew onto the girl's earlobes making her face turn redder. "We'll perfect it on time, don't worry."

I couldn't watch the two girls flirt with each other anymore. I felt my stomach turn it made me feel sick. I had to distract myself so I went to the two tsunderes who was of course bickering about something.

"Can you please stop staring at me when we're changing for practice? Its creepy." The redheaded girl glared at the dark haired girl.

"Hah!? What are you talking about? You're the one always looking at me change." Replied the older girl.

"Hmph. Why would I look at that elementary schooler body of yours? There's nothing much to look at."

"Geh! Elemen- Heehh but Maki-chan you're into that. You lolicon."

A glare shot from the freshman to the senior. They both glared at each other, thunder crackling behind them. I chuckled slightly to myself. Watching them put me at ease.

"Okay, everyone lets get back to practice!" Eli announced as practice began again.

Practice was now over; I changed out from my practice outfit putting the usual school uniform on. I went inside the clubroom to retrieve my bag, as I went in the gray-haired sophomore was leaning on the table. She looked at me with a smirk on her face.

"I've been waiting for you Nozomi-chan."

"Is there something you need Kotori-chan?" I questioned putting a gentle smile on my face.

She pulled away from the table, stepping in front of me. "You heard what I said this afternoon right?"

"What are yo-"

"You know exactly want I'm talking about." Her golden orbs peered into my own eyes. "But I'll say it again. Honoka-chan is mine and I'm not giving her to you."

There was a sharp pain within my chest again. Honoka-chan... Kotori's? The thought of her of taking Honoka away made me feel uneasy. The throbbing pain struck my chest again. I took a deep breath trying to calm myself down. I know how Kotori feels, thinking you'll have a lot of time especially being so close to someone but until another comes in their life and changes it. I understand her feelings too well. I can't let that happen to her.

"Don't be so serious. There's nothing between me and Honoka-chan, we're just fooling around."

"Fooling around...?" Kotori's eyebrows furrowed as she glared at me. "Honoka-chan, is not a toy you can just play around with!"

A smirk came on my face, as I almost felt that something snapped within me like what happened to Elicchi. "Oh really? Even though she's basically wrapped around my finger like some sort of puppet."

Kotori grind her teeth, restraining herself from hitting me. She walked pass me, muttering, "I'll just have to free her from your grasp." The door was shut behind me as I retrieve my bag.

Heh, guess we'll have to see about that.
