Chapter 20: Dating Advice.

Preparing for final exams is been getting rough for the students at McKimson High School, and as the school year is about to come to an end, everyone starts looking back to what they achieve. For the Tunesquad ending their 10th grade year, they also look back. Amanda becoming a member and used to the McKimson environment, Tina become the most valuable player in the volleyball team, and so on. For one shy student however, he has a crush on a Tunesquad member and he thinks Tina can help him out since they were lab partners at science class this year. Anyway, Tina was at her locker getting her belongings when a fellow classmate approached her. He is a duck with grey feathers, short brown hair, orange beak, wears glasses, and is wearing a pair of jeans and a blue Ralph Lauren polo shirt.

"Hello, Tina." the duck greeted.

Tina turned to face him.

"Oh, hi Axel." Tina replied.

"You have time?" Axel asked.

"Yeah. Good thing I don't ride the bus, huh?" Tina said.

"Yeah...Anyway, I need your help." Axel said.

"What do you need help with?" Tina asked.

"Well, you see...there's this girl that I like and I want to ask her out but...but I'm shy to talk to her, or pretty girls...ducks." Axel said.

"I see..and you talk to me though." Tina said.

"Yeah, but you have a boyfriend...and I had no choice since we were lab partners." Axel replied.

"Yeah, that's true. So, who's this girl that you like?" Tina ssaid.

Before Axel can answer, Daffy appeared.

"Hey babe." Daffy said approaching Tina.

"Hi, babe." Tina said before greeting Daffy with a kiss.

"What's up Axel?" Daffy said patting Axel's arm.

"Hello, Daffy." Axel greeted.

"Hey Daffy. Axel's got a crush on a girl and I'm gonna help him out." Tina said.

"Really? So who's the lucky girl?" Daffy asked.

"She's over there." Axel replied as he points to the direction where his crush is.

Tina and Daffy turned and are surprised that the girl Axel likes is Amanda.

"My cousin Amanda?" Daffy asked.

"Yeah..." Axel replied.

"Hmmm..that's gonna be tough." Daffy said. "How bout you come to my place?"

"Okay." Axel said. "I'll see you two later."

With that, Axel left, leaving Daffy and Tina in the hallway.

"What do you mean, tough, babe?" Tina asked in concern.

"Well, her ex boyfriends were muscular, some were athletes, big, and strong. Axel, he's not buffed up, he's not an athlete, he wears glasses, and not popular." Daffy said. "But I'm willing to help Axel as well.

"Well, you have me, but okay, I'll see you tonight." Tina said.

With that, Tina and Daffy leaves the school campus and heads home. Hours later, Tina heads for Daffy house where she will help Axel on dating advice, how to ask a girl out. Axel was already at Daffy's house.

"Okay, I'm here. Ready to get started Axel?" Tina asked.

"Yes." Axel replied.

"Alright, let's begin." Tina said.

Tina and Axel sat at the couch while Daffy sat on his recliner.

"Okay, Axel, I'm gonna give you tips on how to speak to a woman." Tina said.

"Okay." Axel said as he takes out a notebook to write notes.

"Okay, first and most important rule, be yourself." Tina said as Axel writes it down.

Tina gives Axels tips and dating advice for an hour before Axel gets doubt.

"Well, I'm concern though." Axel said.

"Why?" Tina asked.

"Look at me. I'm not buff, I'm not an athlete, I wear glasses, and I'm not popular, and I don't think I'm her type of guy.." Axel said.

"I'm sure Amanda would go out with you, right Daffy?" Tina said, but there's no response. "Daffy?

Tina looks to Daffy and finds out that he's sleeping. Tina rolled her eyes before turning back to Axel.

"Don't worry. trust me." Tina said.

For the next few days, Tina and Daffy, well mostly Tina, helped Axel on dating advice as he prepares to ask Amanda out and possibly the biggest date of his life.

Friday has come and the school day as just ended. Tina and Daffy are prepping Axel as he is about to ask Amanda, who is at her locker getting her belongings.

"Okay, are you ready, Axel?" Tina asked.

"I'm nervous." Axel replied.

"You'll be fine. All right. Go ask Amanda out." Tina said.

With that, Axel nervously walks towards Amanda while Tina and Daffy looks on from the corner of another hallway. Axel slowly approached Amanda, who was still getting her belongings at her locker.

"Hello Amanda." Axel said.

"Oh...Axel, right? From third period class?" Amanda aske.

"Yes...Umm...Listen Amanda, I want to ask you something." Axel said.

"What is it?" Amanda asked.

"I, eh, well...I was wonder if...um...you wanna...go out with me tonight for a…date?" asked Axel as he blushed at that last word.

Amanda look at him with surprise. One of the shyest students in the school has asked her out on a date.

"Sure. Love too." Amanda replied.

"Really?" Axel said.

"Yeah, it'll be fun." Amanda said.

"Great. I'll see you tonight." Axel said before calmly walking away while Amanda look back at him with a impress look on her face.

Axel walks back to Tina and Daffy, who were hiding at another hallway.

"She said yes!" Axel said with excitement.

"Yay!" Tina and Daffy said.

"I got a big date tonight." Axel said.

"I'm happy for you, Axel. I'm sure you'll do well." Tina said.

With that, Tina and Daffy helps Axel gets prepare for his date. After a few tips, Axel sets of for his date with Amanda.

"You think Amanda will be his girlfriend?" Daffy aske.

"Axel's a great kid. I'm pretty sure he'll treat her like a woman." Tina said.

"Yeah, unlike her previous boyfriends." Daffy said.

2 hours later...

Axel came back to Daffy's house to see him and Tina. He had a smile on his face.

"Axel, how was your date with Amanda?" Tina said.

"It was the best night of my life. I got the courage to tell her how I feel and I got a kiss from her. We also have another date." Axel replied with excitment.

"Yay! That's great. I'm happy for you." Tina said.

"I also came to thank you guys. If it wasn't for you, I probably wouldn't have Amanda. Daffy, I'll make sure I'll take good care of your cousin." Axel said.

"Anytime Axel." Tina said.

"You two will be a good couple." Daffy said.

Thanks to Tina, Axel went out with Amanda again a few days later and the two became a couple. For Tina, it's nice when she helps a special someone who is shy.
