Challenge
"Say that again, I dare you."
Marik cracked a smile and fiddled with the blade on the Rod. "I said why don't I tear you apart right now?"
Instead of letting his anger get the best of him, Bakura grinned. "Try."
Marik slid the scabbard back over the blade and chuckled, raising it toward the white haired yami. "Die." And Bakura was thrown against the wall of the small room, his Ring protecting him from the shadows attempting to devour him.
"On second thought," Marik drawled, turning his back after seeing Bakura was fine, "why don't you stick around? You can witness the death of Odion." He lifted his arm to strike and found it stuck in mid-air. Angered, he hissed and threw his head toward Bakura. "Bastard."
Bakura sneered at him, the light from the Ring fading. "You're not the only one with a Millennium Item. And your power is no match to mine." He released Marik; a twisted grin crawled onto his face.
"We'll see about that," he replied and gestured upward with his head. "But we should change the playing field."
Malik's stomach dropped at his dark's words and he glanced at Bakura who heeded him no attention.
"I'm listening."
