Bear with me and the quality of these.
Color
She wasn't sure if anyone else noticed, but whenever Yugi and the pharaoh switched souls Anzu swore the eyes changed color.
Yugi had these bright amethyst eyes, full of life and curiosity. They hardened with his determination and softened with empathy. She loved looking in Yugi's eyes and often tried to do it on the sly. She knew Yugi for a long time, but as they grew up together she had no idea such a kind-hearted person's eyes could have so many layers.
The pharaoh's eyes took on a more plum tint and held a regal air whether he realized it or not. They flashed in the light, glinting red whenever he got angry or cocky. But there were times when even his eyes dimmed and the color melted. Or when his eyes just looked so lost when he tried to remember his past.
Unknown to Anzu, Yugi and the pharaoh also snuck glances at her eyes when she wasn't looking. The pharaoh thought they resembled precious jewels. Yugi liked to think of them as the turbulent waves of the ocean, unpredictable and beautiful.
The only other person to catch these glances was Mai, who waited patiently for these mutual crushes to catch on.
Whoops this one ended up being good. My bad. And I don't do Revolutionshipping, but whatever. It's a thing that exists.
