Danger
Honda loved his friends very much, but ever since he started hanging out with Yugi his life got 10 times more exciting and not always in a good way. First it started with the Death T tower when Kaiba was crazy, then Duelist Kingdom when Yugi's grandpa's soul got taken. Next was that whole mess during Battle City when Jou and Anzu were brainwashed, then that Malik guy went batshit, and all that other shenanigans.
He pulled Jou into the hallway one day between classes. "Have you noticed the weird things that started happening since we became friends with Yugi?"
Jou gave him a weird look. "Yeah, but that doesn't mean I don't want to be his friend anymore. And we've overcome all those things, so why are you worrying about it now?"
"I dunno," Honda replied. "Just this constant danger makes me anxious. I have this nagging feeling this calm isn't gonna last long."
"C'mon, Honda," Jou said. "You're overreacting."
Before either of them could speak, Anzu burst from the classroom. "Have either of you seen Yugi? He disappeared."
And then that whole Dartz fiasco started. Shoulda made better friends, Honda.
