Breaking the Rules
There was an unwritten rule between Yugi and his friends that no one talked about Joey's crush on Mai. The blazingly obviousness of it made it so very hard for Honda to not tease Joey about it, but he, Yugi, and Anzu all agreed if Joey wanted to share his feelings, he'll do it on his own time.
But then that asshole American actor showed up on their way to the Battle City finals and Joey was getting hot and bothered and very, very, jealous as the duel progressed.
"Hey Joey," Honda called from the sidelines, "I thought Mai was just a friend?"
Yugi elbowed him as Joey, cheeks fire engine red, shot a death look.
"No regrets."
