Hey guys! Sorry it took me so long to update Ch. 4. I was just really busy. Anyways, here's Ch. 5. Remember to read RavenNightshade98's fanfics. This chapter is in Karasu's POV.

Ch. 5 Welcome to Death-I Mean Boot Camp

"I'm dying, Kara-chan," Neliel said in a hoarse voice.

"Hang in there, Nel!" I said in an equally hoarse voice. "Just a little longer!" A sudden shadow appeared over us, blocking the sun from our moisture-deprived faces. It was him. The man I'd grown to hate in less than two hours stood over us with an unamused look on his face.

"Will you stop groveling in the dirt?" he said. "It's unbecoming of a Kage." He offered his hand to me, which I accepted gratefully, making many unnatural noises on the way up, the last being a growl.

"I'm going to kill you Gaara. In cold blood. Cold...cold...pool...cold pool." I started twitching and making awkward noises that sounded...somewhat like laughter.

"You're dead to me," Neliel said. "Dead, I say. Dead to me." She had a menacing look in her eyes. I assumed she was serious about what she said. Gaara would want to sleep with both eyes open and about 20 or so anbu guarding him from now on...and even that might not be enough. I thought back to when we killed the previous Shikage. I smiled.

My way of killing Gaara, however, would be a bit more...creative. I laughed like a crazy person. Gaara gave me a look that said he thought I was crazy...as he should. Oh, well, I don't really care.

I helped Neliel up and we dusted each other's butts off. We had both sat down for a long period of time after Gaara's mountain throwing contest. No, seriously. He made us throw mountains of sand. They were heavy...and they hurt...when we dropped them...on top of us. I still ached.

I looked over at Amaya, who hadn't even broken a sweat and was laughing at us. "You guys are pathetic," she said to Neliel and me. "You can't even throw one little mountain?"

"You threw one!" Neliel practically screamed. "We threw 17! You are in no position to talk about being pathetic. Not to mention we threw them three times as far as you. So shut the hell up!"

"I don't exert any extra energy when I don't have to."

"Which is pathetic," I said. Temari walked over and gave us each some water.

"You should give them a break, Gaara," she said. "They've thrown 17 mountains each, not to mention they dropped them a few times. They need to rest. Well, with the exception of Amaya. I think she can be worked a bit harder." Neliel and I looked at Gaara hopefully, hoping that he would give us a break.

"Fine," he said. "Neliel and Karasu can have the rest of the day off. Amaya, you don't get the day off until you've actually worked." Neliel and I smiled at each other while Amaya groaned. "Quit your groaning and get to work! You two, go before I change my mind." We hurried up and went back to our room at the mansion.

"I thought the torture would never end," I said as soon as we made it back to our room. "I ache all over. If Temari hadn't stepped in, I'd probably be dead now. What about you, Nel?" No answer. I looked over at her to see that she was sleeping. I decided to follow her example and take a nap. My bed was calling to me. I laid down and almost instantly fell asleep.

~3 Hours Later~

I woke up to the door slamming shut and then some mumbling and groaning. "Making me do all that extra work...not necessary...stupid Gaara..." Amaya mumbled. I looked over at Neliel to find her still sleeping, wishing I was still doing the same.

"Did you really have to do that?" I asked Amaya.

"Do what? All that extra work? I was forced to, and it's your fault!"

"I'm talking about slamming the door shut and waking me up. And maybe if you had just done what you were supposed to in the first place, then you would've gotten the rest of the day off with Neliel and me."

"Whatever. Yes, it was necessary. Ugh, my arms and legs ache."

"How many mountains did you have to throw?"

"None. Instead I was forced to do 200 laps around the whole village while carrying 50 pound sand weights in each hand. I didn't even know sand could weigh that much!"

"I'd rather do that then throw mountains. I feel like I was trampled on by 50 elephants, fed to alligators, and then crushed by Gaara's Sand Coffin."

"I'm going to take a shower. I'm all sweaty now because of Gaara. What was the point of all that, anyway?" She walked into the bathroom and locked the door. I once again collapsed on my bed and fell asleep.

~The Next Day-6:30 am~

I woke up to the smell of bacon coming from the kitchen. Neliel and Amaya must have smelled it too, because they woke up right after I did. We hurried to get dressed and then made our way downstairs. Sitting on the table were 3 plates of food. Each one had pancakes, bacon, eggs, and sausage on it. Our mouths were watering. We sat down, deovured the food, got more food, and devoured that, too.

"Oh, that was so good," Neliel said. "I wish I could eat more."

"Yeah, I know what you mean," I said. "I don't remember the last time I had something that good."

"I'd gladly do anything during training today as long as we got food like that everyday."

"Well, I'm glad to hear that," Gaara said from behind me. "Now that you're done eating, it's time for training."

"Already?" I asked him. "Give us a minute, will you?"

"No. Come on." We hesitantly stood up and followed Gaara to Suna's training grounds. "Today I want you guys to show me your most powerful jutsu." Neliel, Amaya, and I looked at each other with nervous looks on our faces. "What is it?"

"Well, it's just that our most powerful jutsu are all really dangerous. They should only be used as a last resort if you're seriously about to die. Because most likely, the jutsu is going to kill you anyways...and everyone else in a 10-mile radius."

"Well, could you at least explain them to me?"

"Our most powerful jutsu is literally opening the Gates of Hell, Heaven, and Earth. They're meant to be opened together, and if they're opened separately, they're extremely dangerous and impossible to control. They could destroy the entire world, and if they didn't do that, then they would at least start an apocalypse."

"I still would like to see it."

"Are you a freaking idiot?" Neliel asked him. "If you want to die, then be my guest. But what about the rest of the village?"

"You'll stop it before that happens. I just want a glimpse of it."

"A glimpse of it would still kill you." Just then, three people walked in. They were Seikatsu Kami, Tamashi Kami, and Kaemon Aizawa.

"If you won't show me, then show these three."

"Sorry, but we're not that easy to sway," I said. "You might as well give up, because we're not going to show you."

"Fine. Then we'll move on to sparring. Choose your partners." Amaya chose to spar with Seikatsu, Neliel chose Kaemon, and I chose Tamashi. "First up, Amaya and Seikatsu. Begin!"

Amaya and Seikatsu stood in place for a few seconds, waiting for someone to make the first move. Finally, Amaya spun her halberd in the air a few times, then took it in her right hand and ran at Seikatsu. She brought it up in the air, then swung it down at Seikatsu. He jumped back, just barely dodging the attack. The fight continued on like that for a while before Gaara got annoyed and ended the fight by calling it a draw.

Next up was Tamashi and me. "Just to let you know, I'm not fighting," I told Tamashi.

"Yeah, I sort of figured you'd say that," he said. I blushed. Neliel and Amaya were looking back and forth between Tamashi and me. "So, who's up for a game of cards?" Everyone raised their hands, and then we sat down in a circle on the ground.

"What are you do-oh, somebody just deal me in," Gaara said, giving up on the sparring matches. We dealt him in and then made a few deals: if I win, then the guys all have to dress up as the girls wish for them to and model for them. Neliel put her thumb up. If Neliel wins, they get three hour breaks every day. If Amaya wins, then we would have access to Gaara's pool that we were forbidden to go near.
