Chapter Two, Getting Away;

A week had passed but all Cosette could think was the youthful boy who entered her room. She knew if she told her father, he would most surely bar her windows. Arthur had treated Cosette as if she were ill ever since she has moved in with the Weasley household. He thought that his daughter wouldn't be mentally stable if she told him about strangers flying in during the night. So Cosette decided to keep the affair from the week before to herself. During the week was calm until something happened that could possibly change Cosette's life.

It was a Tuesday afternoon and Cosette had invited her best friend Castiel out to Diagon Alley so he could give his company to her as she bought her supplies that she would need for her year at Hogwarts. The duo had just left Gringotts Wizarding Bank after Cosette had made a withdrawl and now were walking down Diagon Alley when Castiel crashed into a person. Castiel helped the stranger up without hesitation, his apologetic smile fading once he saw who it was.

It was Draco Malfoy.

At first Cosette's face dropped as Cas just smirked and didn't help Draco pick up the fallen items he had purchased. She soon joined her best friend with a smirk. This action didn't help as much before Draco begun his little tantrum. 'Wait for it...' Castiel thought to himself as they both held back their laughter.

"Wait until my father hears about this!" Draco yelled like a young miner.

Cosette released her laughter as so did Castiel. Castiel let out an unexpected snort, laughing even harder at that as so did Cosette. Huffing, Draco stormed off to seek out his mother, Narcissa.

It seemed like fun and games at the time, but the worst was yet to come.

Once she had crept back in to the Burrow, Cosette made sure she wasn't seen. Cosette tried to creep up the long staircase. She was confident she could sneak back up to her room without a problem - that was until the twelve step let her down by squeaking.

"COSETTE WEASLEY!" Cosette heard her step-mother shout.

"And what time do you call this?!" Molly screeched. Cosette opened her mouth to speak but she was cut off by Molly.

"Don't answer, don't want to even hear it! I just finished replying to Narcissa Malfoy's owl to tell me all about you and that-that Castiel boy pestering Draco without any reason what-so-ever! Is that true?!" Molly asked within her rage.

Cosette was stunned at her step-mother's rage. She couldn't even attempt to reply. She was too tired for that type of situation. Sighing, Cosette walked on further. Her step-mother grabbed Cosette by her wrist violently, dragging her down the stairs and threw her on the sofa.

"What the hell, Molly?!" Cosette murmured, looking up at her step-mother angrily.

"I've told you countless of times not to be with that Castiel! He's not a nice boy and he doesn't come from a good family!" Molly yelled. "Do you want to stay here over the school term? Do you want to home-schooled?"

This had been a threat that been tossed around for quite some time now. Cosette's father did not mind what-so-ever with Cosette friendship with Castiel. In fact, he supported it due to him liking Cas. Cosette ignored Molly's questions.

"DO YOU?!" Molly yelled strongly.

"No..." Cosette whispered quietly. So quietly Molly couldn't hear her answer.

"ANSWER ME!" Molly demanded in the same yell as before.

"I SAID NO!" Cosette screamed at her step-mother.

Cosette's anger had caused her magic to control itself, making a few paintings to fall off the wall. Molly was stunned, backing slightly away from Cosette. She didn't want to anger her anymore. Cosette got up, still mad.

"Co-Cosette, I didn't mean to-"

"Just...Just drop it. I want to be alone." Cosette said coldly, moving once again up the stairs.

After around three flights of stairs, she was finally at her bedroom door. She opened it to find Ginny reading through her Witch Weekly magazines once again. The redhead placed the magazine down as she seen her half-sister upset. Cosette sighed.

"Gin, you're spending the rest of the night in Ron's room and until further notice, I wanna be alone."

"B-But...I haven't done any-"

"Just leave me be, Gin." Cosette said plainly.

Cosette walked over to her side of the room, getting a piece of parchment, her ink pot and her quill. She quickly wrote,

'Dear Cas,

I need to someone to talk to and you're my only friend - please apperate here when possible.

Love, Cosette.'

Cosette sealed the letter before placing it into her owl's beak, Winx, watching it fly away. After what seemed around five minutes, Winx had returned - but with no reply. Sighing, Cosette gave Winx a treat before letting her go off to do some hunting. And Winx set off once again into the early evening sky. Soon, Castiel apperated into Cosette's room. He looked rough. His brown eyes were darkened by eyes underneath his eyes, his black hair was messed up slightly and his brown Filipino skin was slightly darkened in a few areas. Cosette didn't dare ask what was wrong in case she upset him in some way. She ran over to him, hugging him closely.

Cosette stayed up with Castiel most of the night, whispering to him all her problems as he listened to every detail she described to him. Most guys would switch off and not take into account on a girl's feelings. But not Castiel. He cared too much for Cosette. After all, he was the one who helped Cosette get to her biological father after her mother's murder.

It was around two in the morning until Cosette felt a strong breeze roll through the window. The both of them jumped up instantly, Cas clutching Cosette in order of protection. She let her eyes adjust from the strong light of the moon, only to see none other than the youthful boy that had appeared the week before.

"I-It's you! You came here a last week!" Cosette whispered, looking to Cas to let him know that it was safe for him to let go of her. "You left your dagger..." Cosette went over the her chest of drawers, pulling a drawer out and receiving the dagger. "See? Still here."

The youthful boy took it without a word. The rudeness didn't seem to bother either Cosette or Castiel. Once he checked that it was definitely his own dagger, he gave a somewhat cheeky smirk at Cosette It sort of...hooked her a little bit.

"I hope you don't find this rude but, who are you?" Castiel asked the boy.

The boy placed the dagger in his belt made of vines and leaves, Cosette found it quite odd that a boy as charming as him dressed himself in leaves and vines, before looking to Castiel, bowing to both him and Cosette.

"Pan. Peter Pan."

Cosette had only ever heard a story once about a boy with that name. Her mother attempted to tell her a bedtime story when she was little about a boy name Peter Pan, how he could never grow up, he lived on an island called Neverland and... She couldn't remember the rest. She must have fell asleep within the first few minutes of her mother telling the story to her.

"The Boy Who Never Grew Up? My mother...she was fond of your stories." Cosette said proudly.

Peter smirked one again. He gave a brief nod to her question.

"Once? Doesn't she still?" Peter asked with a raised eyebrow.

"She uh... She died a year ago." Cosette managed to say without bringing up her tears. It was an accomplishment for her not to cry over her dear mother for once.

Peter knew it was best not to go more in depth of the conversation so he lowered his head in respect. Even though he was entranced by Cosette's odd beauty, he didn't let that distract him.

"May we come back to Neverland with you?" Cosette asked suddenly, wanting to see Neverland for herself.

Peter smirked, thinking it was only going to be Cosette. But then he remembered Castiel when he arose from the side of the bed.

"Alright...But ya gotta take orders!" Peter said, placing both his hands on his hips proudly.

Tinkerbell, a beautiful, small blond fairy, finally flew into the room. Peter grabbed a hold of the fairy before she could work out was happening. Peter shook Tinkerbell so her fairy dust would go over both Castiel and Cosette.

"Alright, now just think of a wonderful thought!" Peter said encouragingly.

Castiel closed his eyes and levitated within time. It wasn't the same case for Cosette. 'Being free, leaving here, never coming back, spending another day with mother.' Cosette thought to herself as the list went on. Once Peter had made sure they both knew how to fly, he stood on the windowsill.

"All ready? Here we goooo! Off to Neverland!" Peter said joyfully, leaping out the window, leading the duo on route to Neverland.
