Mummipokey's Artifact Base

Mummipokey runs a a shop within a wooden cabin selling artifacts in Seaside Hill. The mummified cactus will have to come up with cunning, fantastic tales to help sell otherwise useless knick knacks to suspicious customers. Will he be able to do it and profit from such a shady business?

32. Chapter 32

Mummipokey was whistling as he was looking through his huge catalog of stuff, when Lakithunder came by, approaching Mummipokey.

"Say, you need anything here?" Lakithunder asked as he moved his hands around. "I am extending my electricity services."

"Oh no, it's all right." Mummipokey responded as he moved his body from side to side. "I'm trying to use an alternate source of power. I call it, cactus power!"

Lakithunder squinted his eyes at Mummipokey. "But... you're just moving back and forth."

"Exactly!" Mummipokey stated as he turned to his collection of cactus statues. "With this, I'll have enough power for these authentic cactus busts to stay lighting up forever!"

Lakithunder rolled his eyes as he shrugged, shaking his head. "Whatever. I'm gonna go see Cheepskipper." He then floated away from Mummipokey.

Mummipokey scoffed as he watched Lakithunder go. "All right, fly away! I don't need you!" He then panted as he squinted his eyes. "Phew... I better take a rest... all this moving about is making me exhausted..."

"A mummufied cactus getting tired? Oh brother!" Lemmy Koopa laughed as he rolled by on a golden tire, annoying Mummipokey.
