Mummipokey's Artifact Base

Mummipokey runs a a shop within a wooden cabin selling artifacts in Seaside Hill. The mummified cactus will have to come up with cunning, fantastic tales to help sell otherwise useless knick knacks to suspicious customers. Will he be able to do it and profit from such a shady business?

33. Chapter 33

"So, how much money would this cost me?" Dark Pit asked as he held a purple and black colored vase.

"Well, it's pretty expensive. I found it while I was on vacation at some ancient ruins that disappeared forever after being struck by a hurricane. It was in a desert." Mummipokey remarked as he was moving side to side. "So, I pin it at $20."

"...Twenty dollars?" Dark Pit remarked as he squinted his eyes, shaking his head. "Peh! Sounds like a cheap knock off!"

"No no, wait!" Mummipokey exclaimed, but it was too late as Dark Pit broke the vase, flying away as the mummified cactus sighed in disappointment. "Another one flies away. I'm not doing so good."

"Maybe you should actually make effort into selling these 'rare' items." Whimsicott remarked as she was munching on some popcorn she brought from the Popcorn Parlor run by Petey Piranha. "I'm sure then, people would be interested in your stuff."

"...You're right! I should have miniature clones of myself so I can manage crowds better!" Mummipokey stated ashe then left his Artifact Base, not understanding the point Whimsicott made.
