Well, here's chapter 8! RavenNightshade98 and I decided that we would officially end this fanfic with this chapter and write another fanfic to continue it. That fanfic will be in the future now that we know how the Naruto manga ended and who ended up with who and had kids in Naruto Gaiden: The Seventh Hokage.
Well, this chapter will tie things up and will actually take place a few years into the future after where our last chapter left off with Amaya's funeral. It will be in Neliel's POV.
Ch. 8 Happy Endings
"I now pronounce you husband and wife," the pastor said. Karasu and Hinote kissed. They were such a cute couple, and it was hard to believe they had met in Tendogakure only a bit over a year ago. Looking at Kara-chan in her wedding dress, I could see the beauty radiating off of her and knew that Amaya would approve of every aspect of this wedding. My own wedding was only a couple months ago, and looking at Kaemon next to me, I knew I had made the right decision.
At the party to celebrate their marriage, it was obvious Karasu and Hinote were totally in love with each other. They kept looking at each other and giggling, and they looked happier than I'd ever seen them. I knew how they felt. I still felt that way with Kaemon, and I knew I would never stop feeling that way.
I looked across the table at Tamashi and Seikatsu, who were caught up in their own affairs at the moment. They had been married for about a year, and everyone was surprised when they had first gotten together. Seikatsu never really got over Amaya, who he had fallen in love with at first sight. Tamashi and Karasu were together for a while, but they ended up splitting up for reasons still unknown to me. Tamashi and Seikatsu had gone on a mission together and were gone for about four months, and when they came back, they announced their relationship. It was definitely shocking, but everyone supported them.
Since getting married, Tamashi and Seikatsu expanded on their family. They adopted a girl named Shimi from Kirigakure. She was very bubbly and energetic, and she hated to sit still for more than two seconds. I had babysat her a few times, and they were the worst experiences of my life. The last time I babysat her, I couldn't get her to lay in bed long enough to fall asleep. I got impatient, so I ended up knocking her out with some chloroform. Tamashi and Seikatsu haven't asked me to babysit ever since that little…incident.
Karasu and I haven't really been the same since losing Amaya. She was a big part of our lives, and I don't think we truly realized that until it was too late. We both went through a dark time that I would rather not think about shortly after she died. It was a miracle we were able to be pulled out of it, but I'm thankful we were. The past was fun with Amaya, and even though she's gone, I know the future will be just as great.
Surprise chapter over! I know this was super rushed and whatnot, but we ran out of ideas for this story. We do plan on maybe doing a sequel type thing in the future, but it's gonna be a while. We'll have more time next year when we're roomies in college ;) But until then, don't expect anything else. Bye for now! :P
