I own nothing!
Jesuslovesmarina: Yeah...that is the exact reason why they would hate him.
sherlocked453: Thanks! :) I'll try to update as soon as possible!
Lee Lee: There will definitely be a rant. XD Thanks!
"...Oh my god, really?" Lestrade came in with his disbelief.
"Sherlock!" John looked severely annoyed. "Friends are supposed to tell each other these things. What if something happened, and I needed to know this? You could have bloody died!"
"...It wasn't important."
"It IS important!" the doctor seethed.
Donovan raised an eyebrow. "That actually makes a lot of sense..."
Mary nodded in understanding, and Molly looked extremely warm and helpful.
While Anderson only blinked. "What's that?"
Everyone face-palmed, but the Holmes were quick to tell him how stupid he actually was.
"Aspergers Syndrome is an autism spectrum disorder that is characterized by significant difficulties in social interaction and nonverbal communication, alongside restricted and repetitive patterns of behavior and interests. It differs from other autism spectrum disorders by its relative preservation of linguistic and cognitive development. Although not required for diagnosis, physical clumsiness and atypical (peculiar or odd) use of language are frequently reported." Sherrinford quoted.
Sherlock rolled his eyes.
"It's still really important." John completely ignored whatever was going on around him. "You should have told me this. What if I needed to know if you had autism? You wouldn't have told me. If it wasn't for the Queen telling us-"
"What Queen?" Sherlock looked utterly confused.
Everyone just stared at him with a 'seriously?' expression.
"How can he not know what queen John's talking about?" Donovan hissed. "He's supposed to be a genius."
"The Queen of England..." the doctor stated.
"Oh...I thought we had a king."
The two older Holmes brothers face-palmed.
"We haven't had a king in your entire lifetime." Sherrinford's eye twitched.
"Wait...Sherrinford, you were the one to get him on drugs, right?" John asked.
"Of course."
"Which drug?"
"Marijuana, but I only meant it for medical purposes. I didn't want him to be an addict." the eldest explained.
"Okay..." the doctor considered before reporting to Lestrade. "The drug that Sherlock was an addict to, marijuana, is commonly used to combat Aspergers in some areas of the world. It was probably a mistake that he ever became an addict."
Lestrade nodded; he guessed it made sense. Sherlock probably had no reason at all to be a real addict. The detective inspector wrote that down on a pad of paper that mysteriously appeared in his hand.
"Do you always have that on you?" John's eyes widened.
"You never know when you'll need to jot down notes on a case. We'll keep that in mind next time we do a drugs bust." Lestrade winked.
John walked back to the Holmes with a pad of paper of his own.
"I'm not answering any of your idiotic questions." Sherlock stated dully.
"Sherlock..." John had an annoyed expression on his face. "I need to know about this; what if something happened? What if I needed this information while you are unconscious or something of that sort?"
"Don't worry about him!" Sherrinford grinned. "I'm sure Mye and I will answer them correctly!"
The consulting detective sent looks of pure hate at both of his brothers.
"All right then." John shrugged. He could work with Sherlock on answering questions later; he just needed the answers from somewhere right now.
Mycroft shrugged and prepared to answer questions as well, causing the youngest Holmes much annoyance.
"Did you guys try to combat the Aspergers by any other means than medication?"
"We did once get him a dog named Redbeard..." Sherrinford stated helpfully.
John scribbled that down. "Did it cause him any problems at school?"
"Loads." it was Mycroft's turn, as he was around more when Sherlock was at school. "It created a situation where every student in the district thought they were better than him...and you know how that turns out. Even the teachers were mean and unhelpful. How dull."
The doctor nodded. "How many times did he 'stim' when he was younger?"
"In a week? Too many to count." Sherrinford sighed.
"When was the last time he almost 'lost it'?"
Sherlock growled. "I never 'lost it'!"
The other Holmes silenced him with a glare and one of Sherrinford's super strong fingers to the consulting detective's lips.
"I was watching the cameras one day." Mycroft's answer caused a round of snickering from the Yarders and citizens watching them. "It was your first day at 221B, John. During the drugs bust, while he was telling everybody to shut up. He was yelling; that is one time he almost lost it."
"Oh," the doctor agreed. He had thoughts something was wrong with Sherlock at the time.
"Now I have a question for you!" Sherrinford pointed at John dramatically...
...Causing the other Holmes brothers to face-palm in annoyance and embarrassment.
"Okay." the person in question shrugged.
"Why are you asking these questions?"
John blinked. "Because I take my job seriously."
