Tidus "Everyone!" I said, looking at all the friends i'd made in Spira. "This is the last time, we fight together, okay?" I walked forward, trying to ignore my friends confused stares. "What i'm trying to say is… After we beat Yu Yevon, I'll disappear." "What are you talking about?" Lulu asked as I turned to look at Yuna, the summoner I'd done all this to protect. "I'm saying goodbye," I answered as I stepped out in front of my friends, drawing my sword and getting ready for battle. "Not now!" Rikku complained from near the back of the group, her high pitch voice reminding me of how much she wasn't like my Rikku. "I know it's selfish…" I began, looking down at the ground before I snapped my view back to Sin. "But this is my story!" *** I stood on top of Rikku's ship, watching all the unsent fade into the distance, when Auron started to do the same, causing Yuna to hesitate. "Don't stop," he said, hiding his mouth behind his neck cover as we all stared at the rainbow colored lights imitating from him. "But I…" Yuna began, stopping herself as she noticed how serious Auron was. "It's all right," he said, his eyes crinkling a little bit as he walked through our group, looking at us as if to say goodbye. "It's been long enough." He walked past Yuna so that he was at the edge of the ship as he began to fade. "This, is your world now," he said, looking at us one last time before he turned into the lights that were pouring out of him, floating into the sky. Yuna continued the ceremony, all of the previous forms of Sin fading into nothingness, one of them exploding into a golden cloud below us, leaving a lone sphere of water that evaporated into a lot of bubbles. As this beautiful sight unfolded, Waka and I looked down at our hands to see that they were fading away. When I looked back up, Yuna was staring at me, pain in her differently colored eyes as she shook her head. "Yuna, we have to go," I said, looking at her as I tried to keep myself from crying, but she just shook her head again. "I'm sorry I couldn't show you Zanarkand." Waka and I walked towards the front of the ship, looking back at the friends we'd made. "Goodbye." The two of started running, slowing down a bit as we got closer to the edge. "We're gonna see you again!" Rikku called out to us as we continued running. "Yuna!" Kimahri called, making me turn around to see Yuna running towards me, only to fall through my now partially invisible body. I stood there, still trying to stop from crying. "I love you," she said, making it harder to avoid crying as I snapped around to see her still just standing there with her back to me. I walked up behind her, and wrapped my arms around her. As I stood there, my arms holding her as best I could, I wished it would never end, but I knew it would have to as I saw Waka standing at the edge. I nodded and walked through her, tears starting to slide down my face. I ran the last few feet to the edge of the ship and dove down into the golden cloud, Waka just behind me again. As I fell through the clouds I saw Yuna's father, Auron, and my father, high giving the old man on my way down. *** I woke up on the Island, Waka lying on the beach next to me. I turned to look at my friend, and when I did, I knew that none of what had just happened was a dream. Suddenly the wind picked up and I was thrown agains one of the four white walls that was encircling the garden, my Keyblade dropping to the ground. I looked around, shocked out of my memories, seeing Roxitas walking past the statue towards the fake Yuna, black wind billowing off of him. "HOW DARE YOU!" He shouted at her, his voice sounding as if two people were yelling at once. "THOSE MEMORIES BELONG ONLY TO ME, AND NOT YOU!" "I'm sorry please, don't hurt me," she said, cowering agains the wall as Roxitas reached down to her, lifting her off the ground. "YOU DESERVE TO FEEL EVERY OUNCE OF PAIN THAT I DID, UNDERSTAND ME?" he asked angrily, Ventus Lea, and Namine running up to him, trying to pull him away from her, only to be thrown back by him. "YOU DESERVE TO HURT LIKE I DID!" "Roxas!" Namine shouted, getting up from the ground. "Please, don't do this! Not like this Roxas!" Roxitas paused for a moment, the wind lightening up a bit as he let the fake drop to the ground. "Then how?" he asked, turning to face her, his voice different than when I first met him. "How can I MAKE HER HURT LIKE ME ANY OTHER WAY?" "Like this," I said, having subconsciously walked up to the fake Yuna and placing my Keyblade to her neck before swinging onto her throat. She crystalized like the others, the crystal seeping up my arm. "I actually kind of like seeing them again." *** ? Oni began to pluck at the keys of the piano and then she started singing. "Forgotten days, a fading memory. Lost and no longer seeking one another. Desperately still, you're reaching toward him. Hopelessly certain, you can mend the broken. Longing for a light lost in time, so distant. Pleading with fate, to be forgiving. Allow the shattered Hearts to be regathered. Fighting for love, to have a meaning. Without a promise, to embrace the Darkness. Hoping for a Dream lost in Light, so distant. Reasons ignored, no longer caring. How long it may take, just to mend the heart break. Lost and unsure the boy is fading a distant fragment of nobody important. Wishing for a day lost in memories distant." She stops, her hands moving away from the piano, and she looks up with a big smile on her face. "It's good to see you again." I dropped to my knees, tears in my eyes as I looked at two of my closest friends, standing there so close that I could almost touch them. That's when everything went black. *** AN: I'd like to deeply apologize for not posting for a while now, I recently changed computers, and I had to play Final Fantasy X so I was able to create this chapter. So that I can get things done quicker I'm only going to be writing this and Fantasia until they're done, upon which point I'll be doing my DC stuff, so if you read that, I apologize for giving you an even bigger delay.
