SO... I am just trying to finish this story and end it. I feel like the show has ended and now its time for my fanfiction to as well. This is not the last chapter. There will be four more after this one at the MOST. I hope you enjoy!
Robbie's POV:
I watch as Beck collapses to the ground, clutching the knife wrenched in his gut. I am frozen. Tori runs to Beck's side screaming. Andre is trying to pry Tori off of Beck so the paramedics can place him on the stretcher, as two ambulances and five cop cars swarm the scene in the parking lot outside Hollywood Arts. We followed the ambulance in Andre's car; Tori is calling Cat, Jade, and Beck's parents frantically. We enter the trauma bay, and Tori sprints to the front desk. Andre and I take a seat in the reception area.
"I need to know about Beck Oliver" She demanded.
"M'am, are you his spouse or a family member, because no unrelated visitors are allowed passed reception in the emergency department" the nurse explained calmly.
"You don't understand!" she exclaimed beginning to cause a scene, "Beck Oliver and I have been in…in... love for months" she said as tears streamed down her face, and she started to weep. This was more than some Hollywood Arts acting. She walks away from the desk in anguish; she slumps into the chair next to me continuing to silently weep.
Andre and I look at each other thinking the same thing, "How long was Beck cheating on Jade with Tori?" It made sense at the hospital when Cat told us that she was pregnant; the one who soothed Beck was Tori. Jade and Beck had been having problems, and attending counseling. Did Jade know about Beck and Tori? Should I tell her?
Cat burst through the doors, running as quickly as she could while clutching her swollen belly, still in her pajamas.
"Is he okay!" Cat yells before panting after her jog into the hospital. She peers at the three of us waiting for an answer. Both Tori and Andre look stuck.
"They won't say because we are not family." I explain.
Cat gently lowers herself into the chair next to Andre and deeply sighes, "What happened? Tori, you just said it was Beck and I needed to rush to the hospital." Tori and Andre's expressions remained unchanged, so once again I was left to explain.
"We were leaving from rehearsal, and Adrian followed us into the parking. Beck tried to ignore him—"
Cat looked down interrupting, "So I caused this.."
"Caterina Valentine, this is not your fault." Andre finally speaks up, "Beck made the decision to ignore your advice and confront Adrian. Even though I don't blame Beck for choosing to, he did." He concludes gently placing his hand unto Cat's. We wait for what seemed like a hour in complete silence, then Beck's parents arrive. His surgeon told them that he was out of the woods, but the knife did pierce his liver. He had an operation to repair the damage. Jade arrives soon after. His doctor also says that he would not be awake until tomorrow, so Andre, Cat, and I choose to go home. Tori and Jade stay the night with his parents.
The next day…..
Cat's POV:
Andre and Robbie spent the night so we could go to the hosptial together in the morning. I couldn't sleep very much, which wasn't good for the baby, but I couldn't get my mind off of Beck. It was my fault he even met Adrian, let alone fight him. Getting up at seven in the morning, I go upstairs to find Andre and Robbie sitting in Andre's kitchen drinking coffee whispering back and forth.
"Good morning" I say.
Their conversation ended as I entered. They smile at me and we eat our bowls of cereal in silence. Then we got ready to venture back to the hospital. Jade texted Andre, and said that Beck was beginning to wake up an hour ago. The ride to the hospital was just as quiet as breakfast. At the hospital, a nurse leads us to his room. I take a deep breath, and enter. Jade is fast asleep on the couch in his room. Tori is sitting in the chair next to his hospital bed. I look at Beck; he is sitting up in his bed talking to Tori. He is pale and weak, yet flashes us his signature smirk. He reaches out for my hand, his arm covered in IVs and chords, and I grap it taking Tori's seat next to his bed as she excuses herself to go get breakfast.
"Hi Beck" I murmured trying my hardest to speak softly. He released my hand and slowly rested his hand on my stomach.
"Hello little one," He whispered, "did I worry your mommy?" I turned to Andre and Robbie who were still standing in the doorway.
"Can I have a moment alone with Beck?" I said slightly raising my voice, waking up Jade, who then exits to go make a phone call. After everyone left, I turned to Beck feeling a mixture of angry and relief.
"Beck" I said shaking my head. I clasp his hand in mine staring into his now glassy and blodshot eyes. "I told you not to get involved. Now we are here." I said looking around at the hospital setting. I began, "You need to start letting me pick my own battles. I'm not a kid anymore. I'm actually having my own kid. I want to teach my daughter or son to be strong enough to fight for her or himself." Beck nodded; I hope he is fully accepting that his guardianship is no longer necessary.
Outside the Beck's Hospital Room
Jade's POV:
I stayed up most the night until Beck woke up. I need to call my dad to bring me some new clothes. After finishing my phone call, I walk down the hall towards Andre and Robbie. However, they didn't see me approaching as I hear their conversation.
"Should we tell Jade? I mean she is our friend" Robbie says.
"But the news would kill her" Andre rebutted.
"Shoud you tell me what?" I ask confused about what Andre and Robbie were gossiping like two, 13 year old girls about. Probably something stupid like my bra strap or food stuck in my teeth. "Tell me what?" I ask again. "Listen you guys have five seconds to spit it out or else!" I threaten reaching towards the scissors hidden in my right combat boot.
"Honestly…" Andre begins, "Beck and Tori have been a thing for a while. She declared their love yesterday when she freaked out on the receptionist" He looks down afraid to look me in the eyes. People joke about my heart being made of stone, but for the first time I feel like it wasn't a joke. In those few seconds, I feel my ability to love shrivel up and die. I stare into Beck's room truly looking for the first time. Tori had returned from breakfast and was now at Beck's bedside with Cat. The way he looked at her. That look, I thought he reserved for me, is directed at her. Andre wasn't lying. I am just seeing the truth, and finally unable to accept the lie that Beck and I are okay, that Beck and I are still together. I begin to run.
