AN: I got really into the story today so you guys are getting this earlier than usual, please Thank Lizz for this sudden motivation to finish this story, and again, thank you all for being here with me throughout my hectic writing style, this is still my longest story, and I'm going to be sad for it to end. I love all of my readers, so I'm afraid I can't give you the heart crushing ending some of you expect, though I might make an extra chapter with that ending. Now you aren't here to listen to me rant, so I'll get to the actual story, again, thank you all for reading.
Roxas
I slowly opened my eyes, looking up at the white ceiling of my old room from my days in the organizations.
"Good morning sleepy head," I heard Namine giggle from the side of my bed. I looked over to see her sitting alone in a wooden chair, her old sketchbook in her hands. "You've been asleep along time now."
"You're alive," I said, choking back tears as I pushed myself into a sitting position before jumping out of bed and into Namine, knocking her onto the ground as I hugged her, the tears finally escaping my eyes. "I was so worried that he'd killed you."
"He didn't, but you might if you don't get off of me," she said, laughing a bit as she stroked the back of my head. I stood up and helped Namine to her feet as well, smiling shyly. "Yensid left you some close on the foot of your bed, so when you're done getting dressed we'll all be waiting outside."
I quickly turned around and saw the outfit she was talking about before the door to my room closed. I turned around confused to see that I had the room to myself.
I began getting dressed, starting with my new undershirt. It had primarily the same design except it fit more snuggly and the sleeves now went down to wrists. I then put on my pants which hadn't changed hardly at all except the length fit me better. I continued to my new coat which color scheme more closely resembled my old shirt except on the left sleeve it had the pattern of my bracelet sewn into it, and the hood had remained apart of it, a checkered pattern going in-between the two seems on the top of that. I then grabbed the ribbon that shaped an X around my chest, clasping it together with a pin that matched my old necklace. Finally I picked up the armor piece with looked like something in-between Vens and Terras armor shape wise, but the colors matched with Tow Become one. I then walked over to my mirror and looked at myself, and that's when I noticed my eyes were blue. "Van," I quickly grabbed and put on my shoes before running out the door, where right across from me was an all to familiar face.
Vanitas had retained the look he had chosen when we were Roxitas, except of course his close. he was wearing a short black jacket with three buttons arranged into triangles on each side of it, the hoot and lining were white, and the cuffs gray. He was wearing a snug fitting red shirt with a zipper down the middle, the sleeves of which seemed to be loose from shat I could see peaking out from under his jacket. his gloves looked a lot like Soras, except the strap that would usually be blue was red, and the disc in the middle was onix black. around his waist he had a bulky leather piece with his crest on it, a dark gray belt wrapped around it, and two four matching straps slightly pulling up the backs and fronts of his red pants. He also had this gauntlet like the end to Terras armor except the colors seemed more similar to Void Gear. His feet were covered by high yellowish socks, and red and black boots that looked similar to Soras.
"Roxas," he sighed as he pulled me into a hug which almost knocked the breath out of me. "I was so worried about you."
"Don't worry Van, I'm fine," Is said, smiling down at my friend when I heard a slight cough from our left.
I looked over and saw Terra, now in different clothing as well, though only slightly. Terra had finally decided to cover his massive arms with a long black coat, though more similar to the paintings I'd seen of Eraqus than an Organization cloak. His left sleeve however was missing so that he could properly wear his Armor piece. He had also tied back part of his hair, which reminded me even more of what I knew of Eraqus. "Come on you two, everyones waiting."
I walked into the lounge room that I used to receive my missions, though the couches were more colorful, and all the people were gathered around in a large group.
"Good to see you two finally woke up," Aqua said, walking up to us, her outfit as drastically different as Van's. Her shorts had become shorter, but her socks were higher as well, so she only showed a small amount of her thigh. Her shirt was now covered by what looked similar to a kimono but much shorter than one. Her under shirt spread to her fingerless gloves, though the shoulders remained uncovered, and she had two purple floral sleeves attached at her elbow that matched her over shirt, her armor still placed on her sleeves. "We were actually starting to get worried."
"Those two are tougher than that," I heard Oni's innocent voice say as she stepped out around Aqua, Kairi and Namine right behind her. Oni was wearing blue poofy shorts with an orange scarf rapped around her waist. she had a black tunic over her strapless yet sleeved shirt with yellow string tying it together. Her boots were also black and laced with the same collored string. she was also wearing black fingerless gloves that connected to a small more dainty version of the gauntlets that Van was wearing. Her strap was wrapped around her chest, her emblem a black and white X with a blue disk in the middle of it.
"I think you're giving them a little too much credit Ven laughed as he walked in-between Oni and Aqua. He'd lost the cloak version of his shirt, though it was longer than usual, and had a slight spike design to it, the right sleeve longer and with the same design as the one on my left sleeve. his right sleeve was the same length as his old shirt. He'd also added a belt on the outside, while bringing his X strap inside over his vest. he had on pale fingerless gloves that went halfway up his forearm, and long baggy pants that had his old pattern, but looked more similar to Terra's. His shoes seemed smaller than before, and ended in more of a point than before. "Hey, why don't you guys actually join the party, you need a brake after all you've been through."
"Sounds good to me."
AN: This is not the final chapter, but it is the end of all the major drama, and it's definitely very close. I did not design Aquas new costume, so here's a link to who did art/KH-Aqua-Outfit-Redesign-183875901. If you want to know more about how Vanitas looks, just look up Sora's concept and change the colors to match Van. Please review this chapter, or the whole story, or not at all, though I do enjoy the feedback, good or bad.
