After Bryson's speech, he looked at all of them.

"Alright. I've got a plan. A pretty simple plan.. but a plan. All of you are going to team up make the best weapons you can possibly make, gather the strongest of you, the smartest, just work harder than you've ever worked. And when have all of that prepared... we're going on a bit of a hunt."

They all looked at him, intrigued.

"For Rabadan. Now.. I do know something for sure. He has a castle. Now.. I don't know where it is. And maybe it'll take a while to find. But I'm determined. And it looks you all are too. And when we find that castle, we're gonna charge at him. Attack him. Just use all the weapons.. just.. just start a riot. We're gonna show him who's boss. Now, this riot.. this isn't how we're gonna win. It wouldn't last long. Maybe we could fight off the guards, maybe even flying monkeys and the wheelers and all of that, but if Rabadan comes, he can stop it quick. But.. that riot? That's just a distraction. During the riot, me and.. a few others, we'll decide who later, are all gonna run into that castle, right after that riot causes the whole damn door to fall. The riot's gonna go inside and a few of you and I are going to go in and split up to find Dorothy, Finley, Glinda, and all of the others that Rabadan has captured. If we succeed at this... we'll all rush out of that place. And of you.. who that might be, will also be decided later, it might be myself, who knows, is gonna go and get that scepter. Now.. this is gonna be dangerous, but I want you to think of all the pain he's caused us all and then just get as aggressive as possible. This could end two ways. Either Rabadan overpowers you and kills you or kidnaps you... or you take the scepter and give it to me. Because I think I know what to do with it. I ran into one of Rabadan's slaves. I talked to her for a while and after that, I think.. I think it might be.. controlled with the mind. As if whoever wields it can make it do whatever it wants. And if we DO get that scepter.. we're gonna capture Rabadan."

"I say we execute him!" One munchkin called out in the crowd.

A few other gave sounds of approval.

This made Bryson's stomach churn a bit. Rabadan was a horrible and manipulative person, it seemed... but did he deserve to die? And even so, Bryson didn't know if he could handle the thought of someone's life being taken away because of him. Even if it was someone like Rabadan.

"We'll, uh... we'll... we'll decide that.. later." He replied, more softly and not as confident before.

He shook his head and tried to ignore the thought, not wanting to lose his confidence.

"But.. anyway... that's.. that's the plan. Now.. I don't know if it's the smartest plan. It sure isn't the safest. But if we lose... at least we lose trying. Now. Donna."

She snapped her head towards him.

"You know everyone best. I want you to assign everyone a different role in this.. riot. And come back to me and we'll.. finalize everything."

She nodded and smiled, seeming proud of his confidence.

Bryson was proud of himself, really. He was in charge. He was being a leader. Taking action. He had never been independent. He had to rely on someone else for so many things. And now? He had brought up the spirits of all of these people. Might even be responsible for saving a whole land. And maybe he wouldn't win.. but the fact he was trying.. he was proud of himself. He was fixing his past mistakes. He wasn't gonna leave the best friends he ever had like he left his mother, pinned down by his abusive father.

If only dad could see me now... is this tough enough for you? He thought, both snarkily and bitterly.

Which made him hope his family was okay. He hoped they had made it out. But he mostly missed his best friend since he was 10, his dog, Lucky. If it hadn't been for Lucky and the worry of what happened to his family, he wasn't so sure he'd wanna leave. His parents had to be worried sick. He hoped he wasn't on the news about being missing. He never liked that kind of attention and exposure. He might die here, he thought. He might not ever see his dog or (albeit dysfunctional) family again. And that saddened him. Giving him all the more driving force to win against Rabadan. He shook his head out of his thoughts and walked to Donna.

"I'm gonna go draw out that plan so everyone remembers it. Probably should have done that in the first place... oh well." He smirked and she smirked back.

And the next few hours consisted of nothing but hard work.

After Bryson finished mapping out the plan further, he looked around and saw everyone hard at work. Some munchkins were making weapons. Torches, swords, all kinds of things.

Some munchkins were indulging in conversation, thinking of ways to add to the plan.

Everywhere he looked, someone was trying to help.

And it was his doing.

He grinned and looked around. It almost brought a tear to his eye. Never in a million years did he think he'd help to build an army, let alone one in the land of Oz of all places.

One munchkin, an older dark skinned one walked up to him.

"Excuse me." He started.

Bryson turned around to look down at the elderly munchkin.

The munchkin had tears in his eyes.

"Can I just say... that... that... that what.. that all of what you just said.." he started, getting choked up a bit. "It was incredible. You... you... young man, you could be responsible for saving Oz. I don't know much about you or where you came from. But.. but you're special. I haven't been moved like that in.. in a long time.. you..."

He sighed. "You are.. just. Amazing. That was one of the best things I've ever heard. We've been living out here in fear... and what you said just... you reminded us who we are. That we're not gonna back down like that. I can say on behalf of all of us. You have helped us. And we all thank you tremendously. Really. Thank you."

What the elder munchkin said to him made Bryson tear up. Knowing that he had changed them all... reminded them who they are. Bryson didn't know if he had ever felt this great.

"You're.. you're so welcome... I.. I don't know what to say... I... I'm so glad that I... that.. I did this. You're all so wonderful. Honestly. That means a lot to me." He replied.

The munchkin smiled. "Just between you and me, I think you should start working at the Emerald City. Start doing this there. Motivating people like this."

Bryson smiled. He would love to do that and the fact the munchkin thought that highly of speaking made him happy.

"Thank you, thank you... but.. well... as much as I hate to say it.. I'm probably gonna have to leave soon."

The munchkin seemed disappointed. "Oh.. that'd be a shame. Why do you have to go?"

"Well... I've got family that I'm sure is worried sick about me. You see, I'm from Dorothy's world. I got here the same way she got here."

The munchkin nodded. "I knew you were different like her.."

He smiled. She was different. But not just because of that. Because she was sweeter, more beautiful, loving, and caring more than anyone else. And thinking about her just made him realize how much it hurt she could be being tortured at the moment, causing him to shudder and tense up.

"Well... I.. I suppose I should get to work."

He patted Bryson on the arm, having to lean up a bit, giving his short stature. "Good work, young man. We won't forget that. And you are brave for wanting to stick up that man."

The munchkin smiled and walked off.

Brave? Bryson thought. He had always thought of himself as a coward. But.. this... this WAS brave, actually. Wasn't it? He shook his head in slight disbelief. He had such a mix of emotions.

Pride, anxiousness, bewilderment, it was a lot to take in.

Eventually, Donna walked up to him. "I think we should assign the roles soon."

Bryson nodded in agreement, rubbing his chin and squinting his eyes as he thought it over. "Any recommendations?"

The two went in one of the houses not being used and discussed on who did what.

After a while, they finished up.

"When do you think we should take this plan into action?" Donna asked.

Bryson looked out at the window. It was morning when he arrived. They had all been working for several hours. It was the evening now. Bryson sighed.

"Soon. I don't want my friends and all of those innocent people to keep suffering." He replied.

She gave him a serious look and nodded. The two walked out and Bryson called out. "HEY!" he yelled out to get everyone's attention.

"Alright, guys. I just wanna say... that I'm glad I've led you all to get to work. I'd go into more detail... but there's innocent people in that castle. And we gotta find it." He told everyone. "I'm very impressed with what you've all done."

He looked around at all the torches lit up, the knives and swords.. there were even catapults made out of wood that had rocks attached to themselves.

"Wow.. you guys have got quite the aresenel here. I'm very impressed with all this. I want everyone to gather up. If you're one of the munchkins to split up, Donna told a while ago that she informed everyone who's splitting up, and who the lucky munchkins are that get to gang up on Rabadan. I don't wanna make another speech, because I want to save all those people as soon as possible. But. Remember what I told you. CAN WE DO IT?"

"YES!" Everyone yelled.

"ARE WE GONNA BEAT HIM?!"

"YES!"

"ARE YOU SURE?!"

"YEAH!"

"THEN LET'S GET OUT THERE AND DO THIS!" Bryson yelled.

They all cheered.

"Let's all gather up, let's stay together, and let's find that castle!"

They cheered once more and they all gathered up and marched off.

Bryson and Donna were in the front. Some munchkins held up torches that were already set a flame.

Bryson smiled.

"I can kind of feel like a badass right now.." he muttered to himself.

"What was that?" Donna asked.

"Oh.. uh.. nothing.."
