Yu-Gi-Oh! 3
The entire city is in an elated uproar with the upcoming coronation of Prince Atemu. I am with the twins picking out fabric, accessories, and make-up for the festivities. I'm in the market place with the twins gathering materials to make their dresses for all the occasions that they will be attending to. The twins walk in front of me without a care in the world and are only talking about the up coming festivities and how handsome Prince Atemu, Lord Seth, Lord Mahado are and what they will talk about when they meet them.
I see people starting to congregate at the town square and all of them are talking excitedly about something. I then see a familiar female vendor that I know "what is going on?' I raise the question to her "oh you didn't hear" she exclaims excitedly. At that same moment the girls are in a similar state of excitement "maybe it's an engagement declaration" they say and storm out pushing me violently to the side. I hear people talking around me "Thank Ra that the palace has lifted the curfew now I can go to the bars" expresses a man as he becomes enthusiastic about the curfew lifting. "That's it," the girls say in an annoyed tone due to what they considered a stupid announcement. Since I'm small I am able to navigate to the front easier and read the parchment paper. It reads as follows: ~To my dear citizens, I hereby as the new Pharaoh temporary lift the curfew that was placed on the city so that the coronation festivities can be celebrated. However due to Tozukuoh Bakura's attacks security will be increased within the city walls. ~
After reciting the declaration a bad feeling shivers down my spine "I hope that everything will work out all right" I murmur with aprehension as the girls look at each other and then towards me "Ebio hurry up" screams Hatshepsut and Anit at the same time as they start walking away from me. I then follow to see the both of them look back at me snickering and laughing as usual. They stop to look at some more items that they want to purchase for their dresses, as I stop and wait for them someone bumps into me. All the packages are now on the floor "you stupid idiot" roars Anit as she looks down at me believing that it's my fault. I quickly look up at her and spoke back "whoever it was bumped into me" I retort sharply "don't talk back" she counters with exasperated and annoyed voice "I'm so sorry" a girls voice act in response as she bows over and over again. "I'm sorry!" she says again and smiles and kneels down to help me to pick up the packages that were dropped.
She smiles at me as she piled the packages back up "I'm sorry I tend not to look where I'm going, I'm Mana" the girl joyfully says, I can tell that she is an apprentice magician "oh who cares about Ebio, aren't you a magician apprentice?" interrogated the girls. The girl known as Mana smiles "yeah I am studying under Master Mahado" she says to them as the twins squeal and begin interrogating her "I'm sorry but I got to go" Mana replied ands makes her escape.
The faces of the twins shine as Mana walks away towards the palace. "I hope that she can introduce Prince Atemu to me" emits Anit dreamily as her eyes shine. Her twin sister looks at her with a disdained face "no me, she's going to introduce me to Prince Atemu" she communicated towards her twin sister with animosity. Both of them start squabbling "Hey Ebio, take all our stuff home and return back so that we can purchase more pretty things for the events and the ball." They both bid and return home with a large stack of packages without any issues. I put everything away and head back out, everyone has become even more excited when the servants from the royal palace come out for the preparations. I stop to look "The first festival is this evening" says a vender as the servants come around to purchase the materials and food that they need to get everything together.
I find the twins again to see that they haven't gotten anything new, which was a relief for me. Both of them are staring out towards the palace as they see the servants getting everything ready "I hope that Prince Atemu chooses me as his dance partner" spoke Anit imagining as sparkles glisten in her eyes again. Her sister stares at her "What in Ra's name are you talking about he's going to choose me" she interjects and they start bickering once more making me ignoring them. They stop bickering and their eyes glance towards me me and start handing out orders before the first event.
After all of my chores were completed there was nothing more to be done so I decide to walk around the market place. "Ebio-san" expressed a boys voice making I turn around; it was Aahmes "they want to me to get them ready for the event tonight don't they?" I inquire with out waiting for the question "How did you know?" he replies. A smile crosses my lips and return home with him to see the girls look furious "What in Ra's name where you, we have been waiting for you to help us!" they both yell at the same time.
I didn't answer and head to their room and started getting them into their outfits. Anit is wearing a long green strapless dress with a long train; she is wearing a gold belt, earrings, bracelets, matching shoes and hair accessories. Her hair was up and the accessories are keeping it up and then put on her make-up. After I finish with Anit I then help Hatshepsut, who is wearing a similar outfit but in blue. Her accessories are the same, this time I braid her hair and put the accessories in after words. I then put on her make-up and shoes "about time, well we will have fun and you get to stay here" they both disclose and laughed haughtily towards me.
Everyone return downstairs " you girls look amazing! I knew those dresses would look good on you" cries out my stepfather complimenting the twins as Aahmes peeks out from behind him. "We should go," he discloses as everyone starts walking away with out a thank you. The only one who makes eye contact with is Aahmes waving bye and smiling. The door closes leaving me alone, falling to the floor I start crying "Gods please help me through this" I express weeping. As I cry I hear the sound of something like bells coming up from my room. I head up to my room to see a dress lying on my bed. A large smile crosses my lips and I clean up and change into the dress, which fits me perfectly. I conclude by combing out my hair and braid it on the front exposing my long hair over my chest.
I hear the same bells, but this time the sound was coming from outside. I head outside and follow the sound until I find the festival. Everyone stops and stares at me creating an aura around me that was very uncomfortable "Wow so beautiful she must be a princess from another land" says a woman as she says comments about me " she's so lovely" says a young male aristocrat as he looks at me making me blush slightly. The twins glare at me, not knowing who I am. People start complimenting me and talking "She must be from nobility," they convey continuing to ogle at me. I see a young aristocrat male walking towards me, however he stops when someone lightly grabs my hand. I look up to see….
