Yu-Gi-Oh! 4
I look up to see Priest Seth holding his hand out towards mine with a seductive smile. All the girls around him sigh dreamingly, however the twins send me hated and jealous looks. I hesitate a little but gently touch his hand; he then holds it gently and kisses it making me blush. He then guides me towards Pharaoh Atemu and the rest of the priests and they all bow graciously smiling towards me. I return the bow and look at the entire royal court to see a short elderly man wearing a tall hat, has gray hair and dark lilac eyes and he bows as well. "Seth who did you bring with you this evening?" asks a young priest with long brown hair and dark cobalt blue eyes, he is wearing a golden ring around his chest.
I bow elegantly once more even though I don't say anything, "I found her at the entrance of the event and brought her here since she is a special guest" Seth affirms as he kisses my hand once more. My face turns red as he looks towards me and drags me to the dance floor "I'm sorry for just dragging you with me, but can you please honor me with a dance" he utters to me and bows. I curtsey as he takes both of my hands and we start dancing; looking up at him I realize that he is extremely tall.
The dance and he shows me to the banquet table and starts conversing with me. He asks me questions about myself, where I'm from; I swiftly change the subject about himself. "You became a priest while in service to the previous Pharaoh, correct?" I question him "yes I have become the right hand man to Pharaoh Atemu while still in the service of the previous Pharaoh" he replies. "Seth-sama" says a familiar voice to see that it's my stepfather "yes what is it?" Seth voiced in annoyance from being interrupted "My daughters have been waiting to meet with you for some time" he responds trying to gain the upper hand. Seth sighs as he looks at me, he grabs my hand and kisses it gently "Please excuse me my lady" he says and leaves me to fend for myself. I hear a charming and seductive chuckle behind me and turn around to see Pharaoh Atemu smiling cheerfully. "Don't take to heart, Seth is just going there for formalities since that man is captain of the guards," he speaks to me.
He looks at my face silently and touches my cheek "have we meet before?" he asks in a sad voice. "No Pharaoh Atemu I don't think we have meet before" I reply in a confused voice. He chuckles as he reaches his hand towards me "please dance with me" he requests in a pleading tone. I return the favor by gently putting mine on top of his and he takes me to the dance floor smiling "I hope I get to see you more often in the next several days" he bids as all the girls around us send me death glares. "Hopefully I will be able to come to the future festivities," I answer back to him smiling back. The both of us dance and talk for a long time, until I realized that Ra's rays is peaking out from the horizon "oh no" I say underneath my breath "please I must leave" I tell him while trying to escape from his grasp. However he doesn't let me go, his eyes are filled with sadness and despair like he was going to loose me once more. "Please I must go" I tell him and push him and start running, "Wait!" he says as he tries to go after me.
I start running as fast as I can through the back alleys. I finally make my way into the house through a small-enclosed entrance that I only know about. I head straight to my room and change clothes, clean my face, take off everything I am wearing and put it on the bed. Bells are heard behind me. I turn around to see nothing, everything that was on the bed disappeared. I brush my hair and tie a rag around it to hear my stepsisters barging into the house screaming and crying about what happened at the party. I precede downstairs to see them arguing with each other "good morning, I hope the event went well" I voice to them. The twins click their tongues and head to their room "don't speak to us at the moment, start breakfast, I have to go to work after I get changed" he growls and thunders as he heads to his room upstairs.
I have just finished his breakfast and serve it at the table. The twins have returned to the living room aggravated "father we need even prettier dresses than that woman last night so Pharaoh Atemu and the priests will pay attention to us instead of that woman" they assert in a disagreeable voice. I look at them and think to myself "Those two only think of themselves, they truly believe that wearing all that stuff will get peoples attention". I privately comment to myself in my head ashe sighs in annoyance "you both have tons of dresses for the event tonight" father irked with his daughters demands with a displeased face "but there not beautiful enough" they badger towards their father with whiney voices "for the love of RA, fine take Ebio and go get some dresses and sewing materials" he bellowed as he hands them a large leather coin purse. They both squeal in delight and hug their father "Ebio move it we have to get ready for this evening, and don't get any ideas about poking that sooty face of yours around Pharaoh Atemu and Priest Seth" they both say in unison.
It was late in the afternoon I am trying to finish my chores quickly to help out the twins with their outfits and also to make them dinner. I then head to make something to eat for the family before they head to the event tonight. However the twins rush into the kitchen before I can even begin. "Don't make anything were defiantly going to have dinner with Priest Seth and Pharaoh Atemu tonight" Anit demands as she stares at me when her sister walks into the room "I look amazing I cant wait for tonight" she call outs giggling and glares at me with a face of intimidation. My stepfather and Aahmes enter the living room and sighs "Oh Ebio please get started on our dresses for the balls at the palace" the demand smiling and laugh evilly as always. He sighs "girls stop being cruel and hurry up we have to leave if the both of you want to catch Priest Seth's and Pharaoh Atemu's eyes" he states as they run towards the door leaving me alone again.
After ten minutes have past I hear the sounds of bells coming from my room once more and head there to see a gorgeous two-piece light green satin outfit. The top is strapless with gold embroidery and the skirt also has gold embroidery and is extremely long, the sandals that came with the dress are gold, which matches the embroidery and all the accessories. I braid my hair, put on the accessories, make-up and shoes before leaving. Finally I make it to see people laughing, talking, dancing, eating and drinking. Everyone eyes gaze at me in amazement at the same time Pharaoh Atemu strolls up to me bowing "I'm glade that you came" he discloses as hr takes my hand dragging me with him.
*** I am having a great time dancing and chatting with Pharaoh Atemu when the sun returns, "I'm sorry sire but I must leave" I say and escape from Atemu "wait" he cries out as he runs after me. I find myself in the back alleyway trying to get away from Atemu; I hide behind some boxes and wait there until he leaves "Where did she go? She looked so much like…" stutters Atemu when he was interrupted by loud screams from the opposite direction "Pharaoh please don't do that again" speaks a mans voice "forgive me Shada," answers Atemu as they both return to the festival.
I sigh in relief and exit where I am hiding. I then make it back home change and clean up before everyone returns.
