Chapter 39
"Hey babe?" Callie called from the living room where she was seated, going through Addison's list of wedding plans and ideas.
Arizona was in the kitchen where she had just put the fresh Gerbera flowers Callie had surprised her with earlier. "Yes, love?" She said, now making them an early lunch. It had been three weeks since her hospital trip.
"What do you think about using tree branches as the trellis archway for the ceremony? I saw this one on the Internet when I was looking for ideas and it's absolutely beautiful. It's rustic, it's outdoorsy and so pretty." She said looking at her iPad screen.
"Well.." Arizona shrugged, walking into the family room.
"You.. have something else in mind?" Callie asked, seeing Arizona's face.
"Let me see.." She said, sitting the plates down on the coffee table next to the vase of red roses she had bought Callie.
Showing her the screen, she saw a bit of hesitancy in those blue eyes. "You don't like it?" She asked.
"No, it's fine." Arizona smiled.
"No." The brunette slumped. "I don't want fine." She sighed.
"Callie?"
"What?"
"Tap on favorites." She said pointing to the screen. "Now tap on the 'must have' link." She said pointing to the website.
Clicking on Arizona's bookmark, her face instantly lite up when she saw the loaded page. "Seriously?" She said, seeing that Arizona had the same archway saved as a must have for the wedding.
"Little creepy, huh?" She laughed squeezing Callie's hand.
"Yeah, but kinda amazing." Callie winked. "Okay." She said, sitting her papers and iPad down. "No more wedding stuff today. This day is all about us." She said, smiling into a tender kiss. "Happy Anniversary, Arizona." She breathed on pink lips.
"Happy Anniversary, Calliope." She nestled the brunette a face with her nose. "I'm so excited."
"Me too. Eat, so we can get going, I can't wait to see you in that old bikini again." She said wiggling her eyebrows.
"Are we taking my babies?"
"Your babies, huh?" Callie asked, smug.
"Well.. our babies." She smiled.
"Yeah, we can take River and Charlie. I bet they'll love the water." She said sitting her lunch plate on her lap.
"No.. They're still too little." She said, taking a bite of her sandwich. "They would get swept away in the swift water."
"They aren't babies anymore they're getting big besides dogs are born great swimmers." She said, taking a drink of her water. "Now eat. I want to get going."
"Okay.. okay." The blonde gave in, eating her sandwich quickly.
Soon they found themselves heading to their destination for the night, with the jeep packed down with supplies and the dogs on their way to enjoy their first anniversary together. Pulling up to the spot where they crossed paths for the first time exactly a year ago. Arizona quickly put the jeep into park and let the dogs out of the back to stretch their legs.
"It feels so good to be back here." Arizona smiled at Callie after they finished setting up the camp. Turning around to look out into the water, she took a deep breath of fresh air, thinking about the first time they met.
"Yeah. Who would have thought we'd be standing here exactly a year later, so in love and getting married in four months?" Callie grinned, walking up behind Arizona and wrapping har arms around her chest.
"Mmm.." Arizona agreed, leaning into Callie's body.
"Whatcha thinking bout?" Callie whispered in her ear. Seeing her in deep thought as the wind blew through their hair.
"Those first three weeks. Everything." She sighed. "How I came out here by myself needing to... I don't know" she shrugged. "...find myself.. I needed to figure out how to.. be me, to think about what I needed to do that would make me happy again. I used to be a person who was always happy. I woke up.. happy. And then I watched my brother died and everything got so dark for me. My life felt like it didn't fit me, anymore. I just wanted to tear it all down and start over. And for a while I did, I pushed my parents away.. pushed Teddy away. Just to find a life that fit who I am now. And then.." She said, turning in Callie's arms. "Then a year ago today." She said, looking at the faint scar that still graced her hand. "I met you.. and the way you looked at me the very first time.. It was like you looked deep into my soul and saw me for who I really was.. and after spending the first evening with you, it made me feel like I knew who I was again. Like, I felt the old me again and what I learned... in those first three weeks.." She said looking up to Callie meeting her brown watery eyes. "..was that I don't need much. I don't need much to be happy. I don't even need Tim to make me happy. But I do know.. that I need you. I need you and only you." She said, giving a soft smile to the brunette. "I went from the lowest of the low to the highest of the high all in a span of a year, it was all because of you, Calliope." She said, brushing Callie's wind blown hair behind her ear. "I will never be able to thank you enough."
Kissing the blondes forehead, "You thank me every second of every day." Callie replied.
"How?"
"Because you love me." She smiled. "At the end of the day the one constant I have is you. You're always there for me, even when I don't deserve it. You know when I need to be left alone and when I don't. I could be standing there crying in the kitchen because it's been one of those mornings that's going to last all day and you come up wrap your arms around me and I don't even have to say a thing. You are my lover, my protector, my confidant.. You are my everything." Callie said, leaning into kiss soft pink lips.
Cupping the back of Callie's neck, Arizona depends the kiss, running her tongue over Callie's bottom lip seeking entrance into her mouth. Quickly granting the blonde access inside. Callie let her explore her mouth, moaning at the contact and pulling back when her lungs began to burn from lack of oxygen, "The love we share is rare." She whispered. Lightly brushing her lips over Arizona's, barely feeling the light touch. "It's the only think that gives life real meaning."
"I love you." She smiled, hugging the Latina tight.
"And I love you."
Hopping up on the picnic table beside her, Arizona pulled Callie to stand between her legs. "I remember waking up on our last morning here, watching you sleep. We had made love for the first time the night before. And I remember thinking that I had never had that kind of connection with anyone. You made me feel so alive." She said, wrapping her arms around Callie's waist and resting her chin on the brunette shoulder. "I have had my share of sexual experiences, but I had never made love to someone until that night." She said, reminiscing about the beginning of their relationship.
"God." Callie laughed. "I was so scared."
"Scared? You didn't really act like it."
"Yes. I was trying to hide it. I had never felt such strong feelings for anyone before. Much less someone of the same sex. I was scared of what I was feeling. I was scared I wouldn't be able to... make you come." She blushed. "I didn't know what to do or what to say or how to act. I was terrified, but then.. I laid you down and all the insecurities just fell away to the side. Being with you... It just felt so right.. It felt like coming home." She sighed, leaning into Arizona's body.
"Well..." She said, cupping Callie's breasts. "You should be pretty proud of yourself, because you did a damn good job making me come that night." She giggled.
"Stop..." Callie said shyly.
"What? You're not embarrassed are you?" She laughed, squeezing the perky mounds. "Because you're the one that's like... Oh god... Yessss, harder Arizona... Fuck me harder baby." She laughed, trying to avoid Callie's swat.
"I do not.."
"Oh yeah? You want me to put my theory to a test?"
"No." She giggled, knowing it was one hundred percent true. Turning around in her lovers arms, Callie buried her face into Arizona's neck.
"Because you know it's true." She laughed, holding Callie tight. "Happy Anniversary, Calliope."
"Happy Anniversary Ari." She said, kissing the map of her neck. "I love you so so much."
"I Love you too." She said kissing Callie's shoulder. "What do you want to do? We could go for a walk.. or maybe get our tan on... or swim?"
"What if I say I just want to stay like this.. in your arms all day?" She mumbled into her neck.
"Well.. I'm all for that, but I'm not keen on a farmers tan so close to the wedding. How about we change into our suits and then if you want.. I'll hold you al..." She stopped when Callie quickly pulled out of her arms and flung her shirt off revealing her deep red bra.
Seeing Arizona's eyes rack over her chest, Callie decided to throw caution to the wind. Quickly looking around, she unbuttoned and unzipped her jeans, shimmying out of them. Her flip flops that were on her feet now slung to the side along with the dark washed pants.
"Calliope.." She gulped. At times, Callie's boldness caught her off guards.
"What?" She asked, standing there in red panties and matching bra, acting as if she was clueless to what Arizona trying to say.
"Nothing.." She laughed. Walking to the packed jeep and grabbing their small suitcase and pulled their bikinis out. "Will you at least change in the tent?"
"What's the fun in that?" She smiled, reaching behind her and released her bra.
"Calliope..."
"Come on Arizona, live a little. This is our day." She said, throwing her bra at her fiancé.
Throwing Callie her bikini top. "You, Calliope Torres are something else." She laughed. Pulling her shirt over her head and quickly stepping out of her shorts. Hearing a flirty whistle, she quickly turned around to the water where the noise came from. "Fuck.." She said, hurrying to the tent out of view from the fisherman that looked to be around his mid sixties, floating down the water. "Oh SHIT." She exclaimed. Coming face to face with a still bare chested Callie. "How in the hell did you get in here that fast?" She said looking at her shell shocked fiancé. Before falling to her knees into a fit of giggles. "Callie.. what in the hell." She laughed.
"What?" She stood above Arizona.
"You were all 'live a little, Arizona.' And I did.. And some old man, got a show.. With me stripping down to my undies and you walking around with your boobs hanging out." She laughed. "And before I could blink you're in here hiding from a dirty old perv who whistled at us. I'm never going to listen to you again."
"Shut up."
"Why don't you come..." Arizona wiggled her eyebrows. "..down here and make me." She grinned from her spot on her knees.
"You'd enjoy it too much." She said, finally putting on her bikini top. "As much as I'd love to lay here all day." She said, helping Arizona stand. "..and make slow passionate love to you and then fuck your brains out.. we're going to go back out there and soak up some sun and then we're going to take the dogs swimming. This is our only day here because we have my reunion tomorrow. So put your suit on beautiful." Callie said, quickly taking off her panties before pulling her bottoms out of Arizona's hand and sliding them up her smooth legs. "Come.. Ly with me." She winked. Leaving the tent and the blonde behind.
"But I'd rather lay you." She grumbled, seeing Callie naked had made her instantly wet for the hot brunette.
After laying in the sun awhile, they decided to take the dogs across the shallow part of the river. Walking hand in hand with the dog jumping and playing in the water ahead of them as they slowly made their way across the rocks. "I know I said we wouldn't talk anymore about the wedding planning today, but this is going to be the last time we're here before the wedding as far as we know, anyway. And we need to think about where we want everything to be."
"You're right." Arizona said, reaching down and picking up a smooth rock to skip in the water. "We've never really talked about where exactly we want to have the ceremony or the repetition. Have you thought about it?" She asked, throwing the hard object causing it to skip four times off the water.
"I'd like to have the sunset behind us."
"So, an evening wedding?"
"You.. were thinking something different?"
"Well.. I was thinking the earlier we get married.. the earlier I could get into your pants.. well in your case panties." Arizona giggled.
"Would you be serious." Callie nudged her.
"I am. You can't tell me your only thought that day wouldn't be how fast can I get her out of that dress?"
"Arizonaaaa..."
"Okay.. sorry..." She shrugged. "I agree with you. I'd like to have the sunset and the water behind us as a backdrop. I think it would be absolutely beautiful... but not as beautiful as my new bride of course." She smiled, glancing at her fiancé out of the corner of her eye. Seeing Callie's red lips turn up into a smile.
"Don't try to suck up." Callie glared at her playfully.
"Oh I'm not.. I'm boldly stating the absolute truth. You're the most beautiful site I've ever seen." Said said, kissing the caramel hand she was holding.
"Thank you." She said, laying her head on Arizona's shoulder just as they made it across the river. Seeing the two dogs take off after a rabbit on the bank, "River, Charlie. No, bad dogs." She scolded, clapping her hands together loudly trying to get the Huskies and Brittany's attention.
"I know the perfect spot for the trellis." Arizona said, as the dogs went off on the rabbits trail.
"Where?"
"Our spot.. The same spot that we shared our first kiss and made love for the first time and the same spot we made love for the first time as an engaged couple." She said, wrapping her arm around Callie's back. "That is exactly the place I want to commit my life to you."
"We've had a lot of firsts here." Callie said, whistling for the dogs as she and Arizona turned around and trekked back across the water.
"We really have and we'll have a lot more. It will be the first time in years that our families will be back here.. Together. It will be the first time I'll get to kiss you as my wife.. And if you're lucky, we'll be able to sneak away from the crowd during the reception and have a quicky somewhere." She laughed, nudging Callie with her hip.
"Oh no.. No quickies. I want to take my time with my wife and show her all the love I have for her. I want to worship every inch of her body, slowly." She said seductively. Looking at the blonde with darkened eyes.
Swallowing hard.. "That.. uh.. Sounds like.. ah.. yeah.. maybe.. you should practice?" Arizona said, pushing Callie into the deep water at the swimming hole. Making her way quickly to the brunette, she wrapped her legs around Callie's waist as she brought her face close to Callie's. "That sounds like a lot to live up too.. maybe you could practice on me?" She said, slowly kissing red lips.
Callie quickly giving in to Arizona's advances, she matched her kiss, pulling back when she got winded. "No, because right now, I want to fuck you." She said, bringing her hand down into the water. "Hard and quick." Reaching Arizona's core, she pushed her hand down her fiancés pale pink bikini bottoms, meeting blonde curls she slid past and immediately pushing two fingers inside her wet fiancé. "Is that okay with you?" She asked as she was knuckle deep in the blonde.
"Yea.. Yesss." She said, bucking on Callie's hand. "Fuck me, Calliope. Pleaseeee." She moaned, as Callie started moving her fingers inside of her.
Thrusting deeper and deeper into the blondes core, eliciting tons of soft moans from the blonde which encouraged Callie on. "You feel so good, Arizona." She said, placing wet kisses all over the blondes exposed neck. "I love when I have a hard day and I come home to you.. I just want to bury myself in you.. It's my favorite place to be."
"Oh GOD." The blonde said, rolling her eyes in the back of her head. She loved when Callie talked dirty to her.
"Callie's just fine, love." She laughed into Arizona's neck. "To feel you clinch my fingers inside of you.. It's one of the best feelings in the world.. to know I can make someone feel that good."
"Oh yesss.. faster baby.. I need..", she said, but before she could voice her need Callie immediately gave her what she wanted, Callie knew her better than she knew herself most of the time. Her fiancé knew what she needed when she needed it and how she wanted it.
"I know what you need baby." She said curling her fingers inside of the blonde and swiping her thumb over the blondes throbbing clit. "I know how to blow your mind with just a flick of the wrist." She laughed, seeing the pleasure on her fiancés face. Deciding to be a little mean, she quickly pulled out and wrapped Arizona up in a hug.
Whimpering at the loss. "Wha.. What are you doing.. no no no.." She said, pulling Callie's hand back down to her core. "I'm not.. No I'm not done.." She whined.
"Oh.. oh.. Oh I thought you.. I thought you finished." She said, with a serious look.
Unwrapping her legs from around Callie's waist, "Are you fucking serious right now? You just told me you knew what I..." She stopped seeing Callie bite her lip to hold back her laugh. "You're an ass." She said hitting Callie on the arm.
"Yeah, but I'm you're ass." She laughed as Arizona circled her waist again. "Plus, imagine how intense it will be now." She winked, cupping the blondes breast.
"Finish what you started Callie." She said, taking Callie's hand off her boob and returning it to her throbbing core.
"Yes, ma'am." She said sinking into her again.
"Oh god."
"You like that?" Callie asked, thrusting into the blonde, curling her fingers every so often.
"Yess.. oh god yes.. deeper Callie... ohh fuck me." She moaned.
"I am." Callie giggled as her forearm started to burn.
"You feel soooo oh god.. good.." Arizona moaned as her climax started to push forward. Callie knew how to keep her in bliss, dangling on the edge. She finally felt a strong thumb rub against her clit, sending explicit words flying from her mouth. "Oh FUCK... Yes. Don't stop.. God... Damn it, right there baby.. Yes... Oh ye... I'm.. Coming.. Shit..Cal..." She breathed, but words were lost in her as she hit her peak. "Oh Jesus..." She breathed, trying to catch her breath as Callie continued to slowly stroke ever ounce of pleasure out of the blonde. "Okay.. Okay.." Her body flinched, as Callie played with her clit. "Stop.. Stop.." She cried, not being able to take Callie's ministrations any longer. "Too sensitive.. I can't." She whimpered. Trying to pull Callie's hand away. "Callie.. I can't.. I can't" she cried into Callie's chest.
"Come for me Arizona." Callie husked, still circling the blondes clit. Hearing whimpers from the blondes pulsing body. "I know you want it baby. Come for me again." She said, running her fingers through wet folds. "I need it Arizona. I need to feel you again. I can't get enough of you.. Now please baby.. Come. I know you want it." Pleasuring Arizona like this was building Callie's climax. She was turned on so much that she was rocking on the cliff about to topple over without a single touch. "I'm gonna come, Arizona.. I'm going to come just by watching you come.. So.. Do it.. Come with me baby." She moaned. Squinting her eyes at the blonde.
"Oh god.. I.." She said feeling her body tense. "I can't Calliope.. I can... Oh god.." She moaned, feeling Callie's fingers circle in entrance. "Oh god.. I.. Fuck me, Calliope." She begged, sinking her teeth into Callie's shoulder.
"My pleasure baby." She said sinking her fingers deep into her blonde yet again. "Fuuckkk. You make me want to come Arizona." Callie whimpered as she felt Arizona's walls tighten her fingers.
"Oh god, Callie.. Yes..yes.." She yelled throwing her head back on her shoulders. "Oh FUCKKK..." She yelled as another orgasm rolled through her.
Callie's mouth fell open in pure pleasure as she felt her orgasm crash through her body. "Shittt..." Resting her forehead on the blondes shoulders, she slowly caught her breath.
"Damn." Arizona sighed as her body slowly tired.
"Well that's another first." Callie giggled into the blondes hair.
"What's gotten into you." She laughed with her. "Not that I'm.. oh.." She said, when Callie pulled out of her. "..complaining."
"Heat of the moment I guess." She said biting down on the bare shoulder in front of her, before licking the now irritated skin. "I've always wanted to come home from work, or something and just push my blonde fiancé against the wall and have my way with her. That's what I was thinking when I started." she laughed. "And I put your theory to the test and I'm afraid to tell you.. I won."
"What?"
"Your point..I just proved you wrong. You're the one that's.. oh yes.. god harder.. fuck me baby." She giggled, remembering their conversation from earlier.
"You tricked me." Arizona said, pushing Callie away from her.
"No.." She laughed. "I didn't.." She said pulling Arizona back close to her. "I just happened to kill two birds with one stone." She kissed the blondes lips. "So admit it.."
"Okay.. I'll say this.. we both are.. because you have a very dirty mouth when it comes to sex, Calliope. And I will admit... I love it." She grinned.
"It's your fault. I've never talked like that during sex until you." She blushed. "You bring out the tiger in me." She growled. "Come on, I think it's time to start a fire and get our dinner going.. I'm starving."
Changing out of their suits and into dry clothes, Arizona started the fire as Callie got the roasting stick and wieners ready to roast for their dinner. "Babe. I'm not seeing the chocolate bars or graham crackers. I swear I put them in the tote last night," Callie said, thinking back to when she was packing the groceries for their overnight stay.
"Some things don't change, baby." Arizona laughed, walking to the back of the jeep and pulled out the ingredients for s'mores. "You left them on the counter, I saw them when I was locking up." Laying them on the picnic table, "If I recall correctly, you only had the marshmallows last year."
"And you only had the chocolate and the crackers, so we kinda just compliment each other." She winked as Charlie and River laid by the warm fire.
Callie roasted their dinner while Arizona prepared the dogs food and water. "Boys." She said, sitting the food bowls down by the base of the tree next to the tent. "Whose hungry?" She said, kneeling down and patting her leg to get the dogs to come and eat. "Good boys.." She said as they both chowed down on their dry food. "You guys like camping.. huh?" She said rubbing both dogs head. "Charlie.. No.. don't eat your brothers food." She said, pulling his head out of Rivers bowl. "Bad dog." She pointed at him, causing him to playfully snap at her and bark when she began to move her hand around as he tried to bite her hand. "Ah.. Charlie." She yelped when the dog jumped on her, knocking her to her butt. "You're getting to big you know that boy.. Yes you are." She said rolling around with her dog. "I want you to stay my little baby forever.. No more growing mister, you got it?" She played, pushing the dog around, causing him to bark more, now getting Rivers attention. "No.. Oh god no.." She giggled as River jumped on her licking her face everywhere "Callie... Help.." She laughed as she was pushed to her back by the dogs. "They're attacking me.." She screamed at her fiancé.
"Arizona, I told you.. quit getting them riled up." She laughed, "Boys." She yelled as the dogs attacked the blonde. Sticking her thumb and index finger in her mouth, she whistled loudly, getting the dogs attention. "Eat." She pointed to their food. "You just got to be stern with them, babe." Callie said, putting the roasted wieners on a plate.
Getting up of the ground and dusting herself off, she wiped her face with her shirt, "Yuck. Dog germs.." She said, walking back to Callie.
Turning around to Arizona, she pulled her in, licking her face, "Callie germs.." She laughed, seeing Arizona scrunch for face up. "Dinners ready." She laughed, pulling out the hot dog buns from the tote sitting on the bench.
"Oh my god. I just had a thought." Arizona said, with her mouth full. They had sat down on a blanket near the fire to eat their dinner. Day was quickly turning into night as the sun sank down making for a beautiful view on the water. "Could you imagine if Teds and Addie got together? Wouldn't it be amazing?" She asked, thinking about her friends hooking up.
"Yeah.. But Addie is strictly dickly." Callie laughed.
"Eww..." Arizona cringed.
"She could change I guess. Look at me.. I used to say that about myself.. and now I'm strickly.."
"Don't say it." She laughed, putting her finger to Callie's mouth.
"Addie's too crazy about Karev." Callie said, taking a bit of her food. "They're getting pretty serious now."
"Yeah, Teddy's too in love with Henry. Such a shame though.. they would be amazing together."
"Quit trying to turn our friends." Callie laughed, "So.. are we sure on the last name?" She asked. Her and Arizona had talked about whose last name to take since getting engaged a couple months ago.
"Yeah. I'm sure." Arizona grinned. "I can't wait."
"Me neither." She leaned in to peck pink lips.
"Are you sure, you don't want to go dress shopping together?" Callie pouted.
"Callie." She sighed. "I thought we discussed this. I don't want to see you in your dress until you walk down the isle, I want to have that moment of pure awe. Don't you want that?"
"Of course I do.." She sighed. "Okay.. You're right. We'll shop separately." She pouted.
"Okay.." She said, throwing her disposable plate in the fire. "If you promise not to peak. We can do it together, but separately."
"Umm how?"
"Well they have two sets of dressing rooms, one on each side of the store, I'll stick to one side and you stick to the other. But you have to promise not to peak when mama, Teddy or Addie bring me dresses to try on. No sneaking out of your changing room and coming over to mine."
"Okay deal." The brunette smiled, lying down on the pillow behind her. "See.. was that so hard." She smiled.
"You're going to be the death of me." Arizona said, rolling her eyes.
"Yeah, but it's going to be a very very sweet death." Callie laughed, looking up at the dark sky.
"Care to share a pillow?" Arizona winked down at her fiancé, echoing the same words she said a year ago.
"Not at all, you're more than welcome." Callie said, scooting her head over for the blonde.
"You're quiet. What are you think about baby?" Callie asked, rolling on her right side. They had been lying on the blanket staring up at the night sky lost in their own thoughts for a while.
"Nothing and everything." She rolled on her right side, snuggling her back into Callie's front. "Just thinking, how it's different looking up at the stars when you have love in your life. I see life so much different now. It's like all the impossibilities turn into possibilities when I'm with you. I don't know what it is about you, Calliope. But just knowing you're in my life.. that you're by my side.. I can't explain it... It's like.. I could concur the world." She said, looking up at the star lite sky.
"I know exactly how you're feeling. Because I'm feeling it too." She said, kissing the blondes clothed shoulder. "I'm so happy to have found you."
Turning around in her arms, she hugged Callie tight. "I'll always be so grateful for this day."
"Forever thankful. I love you sweetie." Callie said kissing her forehead.
"I love you too, babe. Happy anniversary." She said planting a soft kiss on a carameled chest.
"Happy anniversary, love." Callie whispered, as they snuggled and shared small kisses, until they fell off to dream land.
"It's really useless packing the tent when we go camping if we sleep on the blanket." Callie laughed as they walked into the Archfield hotel where her high school reunion was being held.
"I'm all for it, but can we at least use the air mattress next time instead of just a blanket, I'm getting too old to be laying on the hard ground all night." She groaned at her stiff back. "But I'll still want the back massages the next morning though."
"And what do I get out of it?"
"Happy wife, happy life, Calliope." Arizona said, pinching her fiancés butt.
Walking into the room where the reunion was held, Callie saw a few people she knew instantly. Waving, she searched for their name tag, "Why the hell do we need name tags? I mean we grew up together, I've known these people my whole childhood and teenage years. It's dumb." She said handing Arizona her name.
"Maybe it's for your spouse?" She shrugged putting her name tag on her left side of her chest. "I'm going to use the restroom then get us some drinks. What do you want?"
"Red wine." She said, warching arizona walk away. Seeing one of her childhood friends at the DJ booth."Jennifer?" She said walking up to her old friend.
"Callie Torres? Wow.. Look at you, you are absolutely gorgeous." She said, hugging her friend. "I was wondering if you'd make it. I heard you became some big shot baby doctor."
"Thank you." She laughed. "Yeah, I have my own practice now, well my fiancé and I own a Peds clinic."
"You're engaged?" She grinned.
"Yeah." She said, holding up her hand.
"It's beautiful, Congrats." She said, hugging her again. "Where's your clinic? Is it in Seattle?"
"Yeah, it's just down the street. 'Tiny Humans Clinic.'"
"That's you? Wow I've heard amazing things about that clinic. It's one of the top in the state now.. wait.. Didn't the owner take over for her brother when he died?"
"Um.. Yeah." She hesitated. "It was an Ortho practice, but Tim died and Arizona, my fiancé took over and turned it into a Peds clinic. Eventually I joined her and turned the upstairs to a surgical outpatient ward."
"Wow. That's awesome. And who would have guessed, Callie Torres would be into the ladies." She said, nudging her friends arm. "I'm so happy for you. Where is this fiancé of yours?" She asked, looking around.
"She's getting us drinks." She said turning around to look for the blonde. Not noticing a set of blue eyes on her. "I'll go find her. I want you to meet her." She said, looking around the room for her fiancé.
"Callie Torres." She heard "Fancy seeing you here." A voice said behind her as the room filled with more people. Turning around to the familiar voice she didn't think she'd ever hear again, coming face to face with the tall blonde.
"Erica. What are you doing here?"
dun dun dun... Let me hear your thoughts. Why is she here?
