Chapter 46

She was lying face up, on a spinning merry go round turning faster and faster with every second. She tried to focus on the person spinning the equipment, but her head just kept swaying or was it her eyes spinning in her head? She wasn't sure but one thing she did know was keeping her eyes closed to try to get the spinning to stop only made the motions worse. Willing herself to open her eyes, she was met with the bright morning lights of the sun shinning through her bedroom window. "Oooh God.." Arizona moaned, seeing that she was laying sideways on the bed with her legs strung across the woman's back that way lying in the bed with her. She didn't remember how she ended up in bed, much less how she had her pajamas on. Shutting her eyes again as the room before her started spinning. She grabbed onto the first thing she could find, which was a fistful of lavender sheets in her left hand and a handful of brown hair in her right. Pulling tight, she tried to ground herself to the bed unaware that she was pulling her fiancés locks.

"Oww..." Callie yelped when she felt something pull at her hair. "Make it stop, make it stop, make it stop.." Callie whined into her pillow.

"Shh... you're too loud." Opening her eyes again at her fiancés moans, she saw she had a handful of the Latinas hair in her hand. "I think I'm going to be sick." Arizona said, feeling her stomach do flip flops. "Nope.. I know I'm going to be sick." She said, placing her hand over her mouth and jumping off the bed fast, which only made her world more unsteady as she fumbled to get to the toilet to empty the contents of her stomach. "Oh god." She groaned sitting on the floor, hearing Callie stumble loudly into the bathroom.

"Oww, son of a.." Callie huffed, grabbing onto the doorframe that she had just walked right into. Steadying herself on her wobbly feet, she walked to the sink and searched in the medicine cabinet for a bottle of Advil. Retrieving six tablets, she filled up a glass of water. Taking three of the pills she drank all the water down in one large gulp, before refilling the glass and handed it and the pain reliever to the blonde sitting on the tiled floor near the toilet. "Here. Take this."

"I'm never drinking liquor again." Arizona moaned, her voice was thick and raspy. Taking a sip of water to rinse her mouth out before taking the tablets from Callie and throwing them back with the water, relieving her dry mouth in the process. "Thank you." She said, standing slowly from her spot and refilling her glass of water at the sink before quickly brushing her teeth.

"Welcome... I feel like shit." Callie said, shuffling back towards the bed, shortly followed by the blonde.

"I need more sleep." Arizona said, drinking more water down quickly and sitting the glass on her nightstand.

"Get in here." Callie said, lifting the covers up for the blonde to slide in with her.

"Ugh.." She moaned, resting her head on her fiancés upper arm. "What the hell happened last night?"

"You drank your weight in alcohol." The brunette said, snuggling into Arizona's back.

"Why did you let me?" She whined.

"Because you said that you wanted to get.. and I quote 'white girl wasted.'" She mumbled, closing her eyes hoping sleep would take over again. "So I let you.. For a while anyway. But I had to stop you after your little dance on the stripper pole." She laughed. "And if it was up to Cristina, you would probably still be drinking. What was up with y'all last night?"

"Stripper pole?" She asked, remembered wanting to have a little fun on it, but didn't want to embarrass herself in front of everyone by falling flat on her face.

"Yeah." She laughed. "Now I'm really debating on getting one of our own in the bedroom. You had some mad skills babe." She said, kissing the back of the blondes head. "Mad skills."

"Ugh.. Damn Cristina. Next time I see her I swear I'm going to punch her in the throat...I feel horrible, Calliope." The blonde said rubbing her stomach, closing her eyes she tried to drown out the light that was adding to her headache.

"I know babe." Callie lightly laughed. "Hopefully the Advil will kick in soon." She stammered, getting more comfortable in bed. "Wait.." She said, feeling her clothes body. "How did we even get home? Much less changed and in bed? The last thing I remember was falling asleep on top of you on the bus."

"I don't know.. I had the same thought earlier, but I figured you changed me. Can we.. Just stop talking and sleep? I'm so tired." She whined, the throb in her head not easing up.

"God yes. I was wondering if I was going to have to smother you with a pillow to shut you up... Ouch." She whined when Arizona smacked her on the thigh.

"Shh... What's that noise?"

"I don't hear anything." Callie said, listening for a sound. "Probably one of the dogs." She said after a few seconds of silence.

"Shh.." Arizona said, hearing it again. "We didn't let them in last night. Did we?"

"I don't recall, like I said I don't remember anything, maybe we did. I don't know." Callie said, pulling the cover up to her chin.

Laying in bed quietly, they were drifting back off to sleep. Arizona could hear Callie's breath even out signaling she was almost asleep again. "What the hell." She said, rolling over when she heard the faint noise again.

"What?" Callie jerked awake feeling a hard shift in the bed.

"I hear it again. It's in this room, Callie."

"What's it sound like?"

"I swear it sounds like someone snoring." Arizona said, sitting up on the bed and looking around their room. "What... the hell?" She said, taking a pillow and throwing it at the dog bed in the corner of the room under the window.

"What?" Callie said, sitting up in the bed and looking towards the flying pillow. "Oh my god. What the hell." She started laughing.

"Stop." The voice rang out, taking the pillow and placing it over her head. "Shut up." Teddy moaned, snuggled up on the dog bed in the corner of the room.

"What the hell happened last night, Theodora?" Arizona laughed. "What the hell are you doing in my room much less in our dogs bed?"

"Shut up..." She groaned, tightening the pillow over her head. "I hate you guys so much." She let out a muffled moan.

"At least come and get in bed." Callie laughed at the woman dressed in a T-shirt and panties.

"You mean, I'm allowed in bed now?" Teddy said, gently sitting her tired and stuff body up.

"What do you mean allowed? And yes, get your ass over here. Unless you want to stay in the dog house over there." The blonde said, eliciting a giggle from her fiancé.

"Fuck you, ass holes." Teddy laughed, flipping them off. "I planned this amazing night for you and then I end up sleeping in the dogs bed as a thank you. You two are never allowed to drink in my presence again." She groaned, standing from the floor.

"Why?"

"Why? Are you serious?" She said standing by the foot of the bed.

"What happened?" Callie asked.

"Well.. After I had to stop your intense make out session on the way home you guys fell asleep until we made it back here. Aria helped me get you up to your bedroom. By the way I didn't think you were even that drunk Callie, but evidently I was wrong. You were dead weight." She said, climbing on the bed beside Arizona. "Aria left right after to clean up the bus before we had to have it back. I had thought you two were changing for bed so I brought all your gifts in and just as I was starting to lock up and go home, you both came stumbling down the stairs still wearing your dresses whispering and giggling like two twelve year olds. So I decided to stay and keep an eye on you guys last night because let's face it, Arizona you were obliterated last night and Cal you were well on your way. When you guys came into the living room, Callie turned the stereo up and both of you insisted on stripping down to your underwear and having a dance party along with more tequila. Which..." She said, holding her finger up at Arizona. "By the way, I took from you guys until you, missy jumped on my back and tackled me.. distracting me enough for Callie to grab the bottle out of my hands. You two were so shit faced. I don't know how it's even plausible that you're alive right now, much less awake."

"No wonder I feel like ass." Arizona said shoving Teddy. "You should have tried harder."

"Hey, I tried." She shoved back.

"Hey.. children.. children. Don't make me separate you two." Callie said, slapping both their hands off each other.

"There is only so much I can do when I'm outnumbered. Hell, you and Callie ripped my dress off me when I refused to dance in my underwear." She said, laying back in the bed. "You two were ridiculous."

Looking over at Callie, Arizona busted out laughing along with her fiancé. "Sorry Teds. But damn, when I said I wanted to live it up last night, I also would have liked to remember it."

"But Teddy." Callie said in between fits of giggles. "How the hell did you end up in the dog bed?"

"I'm.. not completely sure." She said, scratching her head. "I remember laying on your side of the bed, Cal. Then I remember moans and I looked over and Arizona was straddling and kissing you, so I kicked her off and told her no funny business while I was in the same bed. Then as I was about to fall asleep, I felt a swift kick to the ribs and landed on the floor. Then the rest is a mystery."

"I don't believe you, Teddy." Callie insisted, she was a drinker at times, but she had never had a night that she didn't remember.

"Oh you don't?" Teddy said, rising from the bed and walking into the hallway outside their bedroom and coming back in shortly after. "How about now?" She said, throwing the torn dress at the two women on the bed.

"I'm sorry." Callie said laughing, looking at the dress that was ripped down the seam under the zipper in the back.

"Yeah, you'll be sorry when you take me dress shopping next month." She said, getting back in bed.

"Sounds like.. some night." Arizona laughed. "I'm sad I don't remember the end."

"Yeah, especially the after party. Unforgettable." She said sarcastically. "So if you don't mind, I'd like to rest a little more before the next party gets started." Teddy said, rolling over and pulling the blanket up over her.

"Best idea yet." Callie said laying back down with Arizona trying to diminish their hangover.

Some time later, a loud bang woke Callie up from her sleep, peeking an eye open she tried to determine if she was just hearing things in between sleep and unconsciousness. Rolling over, she saw her fiancé and her fiancés best friend snuggled into each other with Arizona's hand laying on her friends side and Teddy's leg thrown over Arizona's hip. Shaking her head at the duo, she got up making her way to the bathroom to relieve herself. Walking back into the bedroom after washing her face and brushing her teeth, she saw Arizona lift her head up.

"Hi." Arizona said, rolling on her back.

"Hi." Callie said, bending down to give her a kiss. "We should get up and eat some breakfast, before everyone comes over and starts demanding things from us." She said looking at the clock on the nightstand. "Or lunch." She said, seeing it was just past noon. "Looks like we slept well through breakfast." She said, sitting on the edge of the bed. "How you feeling?"

"Better." Arizona replied, reaching out for Callie's hand. "You?"

"I'll be good once I eat something. I'm starving."

"One day." The blonde smiled, kissing the carameled hand.

"One more day." She said back. "You nervous?"

"Yeah. You?"

"Yes." She laughed. "I just want everything to be beautiful." Callie said, looking down at their laced hands.

"With you in this wedding, everything will be stunning." Arizona said, sitting up in bed to hug her fiancé. "I love you and I can't wait until tomorrow." She said, into the brunettes shoulder.

"Me too.. Me too." She said, returning the hug.

"Come on, I'll make us some breakfast." Callie laughed, when she heard a loud snore come from Teddy.

"Bacon?" She perked up.

"Yeah." She smiled, leaning in for a quick peck.

"Be down in a minute." She yelled as Callie disappeared out of the room.

Walking downstairs, Arizona heard some talking in the kitchen, peeking her head around the corner she saw her mother and Licia in the process of making a big breakfast spread. "What are you guys doing?" She asked, walking up to the coffee pot and pouring herself a steaming cup.

"We're making everyone a late breakfast." Barbara said, whipping up some scrambled eggs.

"I can see that." She said, taking her place next to Callie at the island. "But there is so much food." She said, looking around at everything.

"Well, Aria told us what kind of a night you all had, so we figured you needed a good breakfast to get this day started." Lucia said, frying the last bit of the bacon.

"But we can't eat all of this." Arizona laughed, while her fiancé sat quietly beside her sipping her java.

"I would certainly hope not, if you want to fit in your wedding dress that is." Barbara laughed her daughter. "Your father and Carlos is out on the patio reading the paper."

"And Aria should be here any minute, she had to pick Maria and James up from the airport at noon."

"So Nana will be here?" Callie asked. Her grandmother had been feeling ill as of late and was scared that she wouldn't make it up for the wedding.

"Yeah. Said she couldn't miss her babies dreams coming true." Licia smiled as Callie felt Arizona's hand rub the small of her back.

"Yey." Arizona smiled, kissing Callie on the neck, below her ear.

"Oh and Addison called and said she was on her way over to go over the last minute check list. I'm surprised Teddy's not here yet."

"Oh, she's upstairs asleep in bed." Callie chimed in laughing.

"What did y'all do to that poor girl?" Licia asked seeing Callie and Arizona eye each other with huge grins.

"Well.. apparently nothing she didn't ask for." Arizona laughed.

"Oh, so you're saying I asked to be tackled, stripped down to my bra and panties." Teddy said, ticking the things they did with her off her fingers. "Forced to have a underwear dance party and sleep in the dog bed?" She asked, walking into the room.

"Girls." Barbara scolded, "You should be ashamed." She said, pouring Teddy a cup of coffee. "Here sweetie."

"Yeah." Teddy said, grinning at her two friends as Barbara babied her.

"Sit down, honey. I'll have you some breakfast ready in a minute." She said, pulling out a stool for Teddy.

"Mama, she's lying."

"Do I need to show everyone my ripped dress?" Teddy insisted, teasing her friends.

"No." Arizona said, rolling her eyes at her best friend.

"Hey. I was nice enough to stay to make sure neither one of you got hurt before your wedding day so do not roll your eyes at me lady." She wasn't mad, in fact if she wouldn't admit it to her friends but she had just as good of a time after they got home as she did when they were all out on the town.

"I know." Arizona said, reaching over for her friends hand. "You're a good friend Teddy."

"Yea, the best Teds." Callie winked, sipping her coffee as the two elder women moved around the kitchen finishing breakfast for everyone. Soon Addison along with Aria, Maria and James walked through the door and they all settled around to have breakfast and converse over the wedding preparations. After eating, the men went back outside to enjoy a cigars while the younger woman cleaned up and put the dishes away as Barbara and Lucia got comfortable in the living room.

"What in the world is this?" Maria said pulling a container out of the bags sitting in the coffee table before her. "Coochy Cream?" She said, looking over to Lucia and shrugging her shoulders as Teddy walked into the room as the moms and grandmother were going through the girls bachelorette gifts.

"A candy thong?" Lucia said, pulling out a small box, shaking her head laughing.

"A feather tickler." Barbara said, pulling out another gift, laughing.

"Breast simulator lips.. I'm not sure I even want to know." Lucia said, throwing item back in the bag.

"Nipple lip balm? Kids these days.." Barbara said, shaking her head. "When I was their age all we needed was a bed."

"Not even." Maria laughed, causing a round of laughter with her.

Pulling out a dildo strapped to leather, Barbara's face got red with embarrassment, just as Arizona and Callie started into the room. "You got to see this..." Teddy said to the older women, when she saw the girls standing in the door way, "..one of them straps this on herself and then the other can get in this swing here." Teddy said, holding up the sex swing box.

"Teddy." Callie said, seeing her mother and Barbara's face in shock and her nana laughing her ass off with her sister as she walked further into the room with her friend explaining how to use the strap on and sex swing their friends got them as a gag gift, or at least she was hoping it was. "Oh my god, stop." She said, taking the gifts out of Teddy's hand. "These are just gag gifts." She told her mother and soon to be mother-in-law. "We're not going to use them."

"Hey.." Arizona said, picking up the feather tickler. "Speak for yourself." She said, running the tickler all the way down Callie's smooth legs to her ankle. "I have big plans for this... and I already had a place picked out for the swing.." She teased.

"Arizonaaa..." She whined.

"Mija really. You're a grown woman." Lucia said, pulling her daughter down on the couch beside her. "Do you think we do not know you have a sex life. Anyone who knows you two knows you can't keep your hands off each other." She said, hugging her daughter around the waist.

Noticing the time, Addison packed all her wedding planning notes up and walked into the living room to get her best friend moving and on schedule for the day. "Alright, Cal. We need to get going. You have practice in forty-five min..utes." She said, forgetting Arizona was in the room.

"Practice for what?" Arizona asked, looking from Addison to Callie.

"Uh.. to practice going over her vowels. Yeah.. she's nervous that she will forget what to say when she's in front of everyone," The red head said, saying the first thing that came into her head. "You know how she can get when she's the center of a big crowd. And she doesn't want to be stumbling on her words to you."

"Oh, yeah.. okay." Callie said, standing up. "I'll just run upstairs and take a quick shower." She told her friend. "I'll see you later this evening?" She asked the blonde.

"Yep." Arizona said, leaning in for a kiss.

"Um.. Actually no you won't. This is goodbye until you see each other at the end of the isle." Aria said, stepping in to dampen their mood.

"What? You said last night you were just faking us out." Arizona said, looking at Aria then at Teddy. She really thought this was ridiculous.

"Uh that was only for last night. This is tradition. You can't see each other the night before the wedding. And we're not backing down on this one. Right ladies?" Teddy said, with her hands on her hips.

"That's right." Barbara chimed in, standing from her seat. "Zona, you need to pack your things you and Teddy are staying in your old room at the house."

"Mama.."

"Don't you, Mama me. Get going."

"An old junior high sleepover." Teddy smiled, wrapping her arm around Barbara. "Just like old times, Zo."

"But.." Callie protested before Lucia stepped in.

"No buts missy." The older Latina said, standing up. "Now, Arizona go pack everything you need for tomorrow and make sure your bags are ready for the honeymoon. We are stay here with Callie tonight and making sure your bags get packed into the car so don't worry about anything."

"But I got to tell my boys bye." Arizona protested.

"Tell them bye after you pack..now shoo."

Walking up the stairs, Callie to shower and Arizona to pack they heard Teddy yell, "And don't try to say goodbye the way you tried with me in the bed last night." She said, causing Callie to turn and flip her the middle finger.

"Callie Torres!"

"Sorry Mami."

"You apologize to Teddy right now."

"What am I twelve? I'm a grown woman, about to become a wife." She said as she felt Arizona slip her arms around her stomach from behind, causing her to let out a content sigh. This was the best feeling in the world. Looking down at her mother, she saw her cross her arms the way she used to do when her and Aria were little. Rolling her eyes, "Sorry Theodora." She huffed.

"It's okay, Calliopeee." Teddy sang her name. "Toress.."

"Get it out of your system now, Altman. Because after today I will no longer answer to the name Torres." She said, squeezing Arizona's hands that were laced together on her belly.

"So you.. you're taking the Robbins name?" Barbara asked surprised, neither of the girls had told her that they changed their mind about the names. A little while back Barbara and Callie had discussed how she felt about the names briefly, knowing Arizona was all for becoming a Torres so she hadn't voiced her concern to her fiancé.

"Yeah, we had a little talk yesterday about it." Callie replied, leaning in to Arizona's embrace and smiled down at them. "Well we are going to get ready." She said, taking Arizona by the hand and leading her to their bedroom.

"This is really it huh?" Arizona asked, closing the door behind her.

"Yeah." Callie sighed. "You ready?" she asked walking into their walk-in closet to get her some clean clothes to change into after her quick shower.

"More than ready." Arizona said, pulling out her overnight bag and throwing some clothes and some toiletries inside she will need for the night. "I'm not happy about having to spend the night away from you though."

"Me neither, babe. But it will be so worth it in the end, right?" She said, through their closet door where she was standing looking for a shirt to wear.

"I guess." The blonde shrugged. "The only thing that's keeping me from fighting them on this is knowing that you will become my wife tomorrow." She said as Callie walked back into the bedroom.

"Me too." She smiled. "You all set?" She asked, when she saw Arizona zip up her bag.

"Yeah, I hope I have everything." She said, looking around the room, seeing her cell phone charger lying on the nightstand by her bed. "Oh.. I need my charger so my phone wont die before I text my fiancé goodnight for the last time ever." She winked, throwing the white cord into her bag. "I guess I'm ready." She sighed, looking towards Callie.

"Come here." Callie said, holding her arms open. "I'm going to miss you." She said, as Arizona wrapped her arms around her waist.

"Me too." The blonde whispered, laying her head on the brunettes chest. "I'm not going to be able to sleep without you." she mumbled into caramel skin, feeling her emotions bubble to the top.

Hearing her fiancés voice crack, Callie looked down to see the blondes eyes shut tight. "Hey, are you crying?" she asked, hugging her close.

"Yeah." she laughed. "Just emotions running high I guess. Will you just hold me for a few more minutes?" she asked, feeling the brunette nod and tighten her arms around her as she held tight, just reveling in the feel of her soon to be wife's embrace for a few more minutes.

"No second thoughts right?" Callie teased, kissing her on top of the head.

"Not a chance." Arizona laughed. "I'll be walking down that isle tomorrow, even if I have to swim a hundred rivers just to climb a thousand walls." She said, giving her one last tight hug. "I love you, so much Calliope Torres." she looked up and planted a sweet kiss on red lips. She knew if she didn't leave now they wouldn't be able to pull her away from Callie.

Cupping her jaw, Callie leaned in mere inches away from her lover, "I love you too, Arizona Robbins. And I will miss you so much." She said, nestling her nose against the blondes. "I'll see you tomorrow at the alter." she smiled, leaning closer in to touch pink lips with her own not wanting to let the blonde go.

"Okay.." Arizona breathed, taking a deeper breath. "I'm going to go, so they don't send up a search party." She said, picking up her bag and slinging it over her shoulder. "Don't forget.. I'll be the one waiting in white." she winked. "Love?" She turned and grinned at the doorway of the bedroom. She loved their small little sayings.

"Love." Callie beamed, showing her brightest smile as she walked into the bathroom just as Arizona disappeared down the stairway.
