It's wedding day...

Chapter 47

After the lovers parted ways, Teddy and Barbara took Arizona out for a day of relaxation and pampering before the wedding just to take her mind off everything. They enjoyed a day of pedicures, manicures and massages all of Daniels dime. Laughs and small talk were shared throughout the afternoon. Neither Barbara nor Teddy really brought up anything about the wedding being held the next day because they didn't want Arizona to start stressing out and worrying whether everything was set to go, when they already knew everything was in place. It was more or less, conversations of Tim, Teddy and Arizona and what they used to get into when they were younger.

Miles across town, Callie had just got back home after her and Addison's little secret trip down town. They joined her family out in her back yard relaxing and sipping on sweet tea. As the evening went on the younger adults all conjugated in the hot tube passing time time sharing stories. Just before dark Callie walked with her dogs down to the beach to spend some time with them before she leaves on her honeymoon and to give them some exercise. Playing fetch with the dogs just like Arizona usually does, she saw James walking down to join her.

"There you are. What are you doing down here?" He asked, taking the stick from Charlie.

"I'm just playing with my babies."

"Missing her, huh?" He laughed.

"Yeah." She chuckled. "When I can't be with her, Charlie and River are the next best thing though." She said, taking the stick from James and throwing it into the waves as both dogs race to fetch it.

"I called her a little bit ago to make sure she wouldn't mind and she said that would be 'so awesome'." He said, trying to imitate Arizona.

"I thought she'd agree." Callie laughed as River ran back with Charlie on his tail trying to steal the stick from him. "What was she doing?"

"She was getting ready for bed. She said something about having a big day tomorrow." He grinned.

"Bed? Already?" She turned and asked.

"Well.. yeah. It's already half past eight. She's got a big day tomorrow if you don't remember." He teased.

"Oh.. I didn't know it was getting so late." She said, turning to the ocean as the last of the sunshine was sinking below the horizon. "I guess we should get back." She said to him. "Right guys?" She asked, kneeling down to play with her dogs. "You think Mommy needs to go get her beauty rest so she can be all pretty for your beautiful Mom tomorrow?" She asked getting licks on the face in return. "Yea." She laughed. "I won't look half as pretty as your other mommy, but I'll try my best." She said patting the dogs on the side before her and James started heading back.

"Are you sure Cal?" He asked, walking back through the yard with her. "I don't want t.." Callie stopped him, by holding her hand up.

"I'm absolutely positive, James. I can't wait." She said, hugging him before walking back to the house where her parents and grandma were in bed because they were still on east coast time.

Walking upstairs to her bedroom, she saw Addison and Aria looking at her wedding dress and accessories. "What are you guys into?" Callie asked, pulling out some pajamas from her drawer.

"Just looking at your dress. This is going to be one of the most beautiful weddings, sis." Aria said, zipping the dress back up in the bag.

"Bed so soon Cal?" Addison asked.

"Yeah, I just want to relax and watch some TV. Maybe catch up on some of my favorite shows before the new seasons start." She said, changing into her pjs and smiling when she smelled her fiancés scent on her shirt.

"What's with that face?" Addison asked, catching the glimpse in her best friends eyes.

Shaking her head, "It's Arizona, she's been wearing my shirts again." Callie said, walking over and climbing into bed. "She destroy me when she wears my t-shirts." Callie laughed, thinking how beautiful and precious Arizona looks walking around the house or sleeping her clothes. She couldn't put her finger on why she felt like that when she wore her clothes, "She says that wearing them make her feel better when she's sick or just having a blah day." She chuckled, then her smile turned serious. "I love her so much it hurts." She said, inhaling her fiancés scent on her shirt. "You both are more than welcome to join me." She said patting the mattress beside her.

A few hours later Callie found herself tossing and turning in bed as Addison and her sister laid next to her sound asleep. Residing to herself that it was no use trying to sleep in that bed, she left her bedroom in search of a different bed with her phone in tow.

Walking up the stairs from getting a glass of water, Maria had seen Callie leave her bedroom and wonder down the hall into another room. "What are you doing, Calliope?" Maria asked, walking in the spare room her granddaughter just vanished into.

"I can't get comfortable." She sighed, laying down in the cool bed as her phone chimed. "I can't sleep in my bed without Arizona."

"You nervous?"

"Nope. I'm just a moper without her. I've only spent two nights without her in over a year and that was because she was out of town at a conference. I'm so used to having her by my side at night." She sighed as her phone went off again. Picking her phone up, a smile formed on her face when she saw she had two texts from her lover.

- Hi. - XO Arizona -

- You awake, Calliope? - XO Arizona -

Grinning at her messages, she bagan to reply.

"Well, I sense those messages are from your girl. I'll give some privacy. Goodnight sweet pea." Maria said, kissing her granddaughter on the forehead.

"Night." She smiled, her eyes shinning with tears at her nickname her grandma gave to her when she was little. She couldn't even begin to describe how it felt to having her grandma here for her wedding, something they both have talked about since she was just a little girl. "Love you, Nana." Callie said, kissing her hand.

"Love you too, honey. Now talk to that fiancé of yours for a few minutes and then get some rest, okay? You need to look your best tomorrow." She smiled, before walking out of the room.

- Hi. Yes, I'm up. I can't sleep without you. ; ( - XO Callie -

- Me too, Babe. Teddy is snoring some logs beside me. Lol. I'm actually very jealous of her right now. - XO Bride to be -

- Same with Aria and Addie. I had to move to one of the guest rooms. I can't sleep in our bed without you. - XO Your bride to be : ) -

- I know what you mean. I've tossed and turned for an hour. And... You're definitely my bride to be, baby. I can not believe it's finally here, Calliope. - XO Arizona -

- Me neither, babe. Can't wait... Umm.. I have solution to our sleepless night? - XO Callie -

-What's that, love? - XO Mrs. Robbins -

- Come meet me at our spot on the beach? We can cuddle and fall asleep in each other's arms and then just before dawn we'll sneak back into our beds. : ) doesn't that sound amazing? Pleeeeassseeee? - XO Your Calliope -

- I don't have anyway of getting there honey, remember? I rode with Mama. ; ( - XO Your Arizona -

- I'll come get you? - XO - Really need to see your face if only for a minute -

- It's almost thirty minutes away. - XO Ditto -

- I don't care. I. Want. To. See. YOU. I miss you terribly. - XO Callie -

- Okay. - XO Arizona -

- Really? - XO Cal -

- Yes. I want to see you too, baby. I miss you so much. Text me when you're close, I'll meet you down by the curb, I don't want daddy to wake up hearing me sneak out to a running car in the driveway. It will feel too much like high school all over again haha : ) - XO Ari -

- Lol, okay. I'm on my way. - XO Excited -

- Don't forget blankets. And be careful, love. - XO Super Excited -

- Yes dear. ; ) See you soon sweetie. - Xo Calliope -

Hearing a knock on the door, Arizona muffled a low "Yeah?" Barely audible for her mother to hear. She was tired. Callie had picked her up right before midnight last night and by the time they arrived to the beach it was past 12:30 and it was after 1:00 before they had feel asleep, just to wake back up at 5:00 in the morning to make it back to their respectful beds.

"Zona, honey. You need to get up and get a move on. It's already past 8, we have a lot to do." Barbara said, walking into her daughters room.

"It feels like I just went to sleep... I'm tired." She said, sitting up in the bed and stretching. "Where's Teddy?" She asked, seeing her bed was void of the darker blonde.

"Well get untired. We have a lot of things to get done this morning. Your waxing appointment is in an hour, so get a move on. And Teddy's downstairs getting everything ready for you, she said she has to be the best maid of honor she can be."

"Teddy's been great." Arizona smiled at her mom. "If she didn't do anything else today.. she would still have been amazing for helping me so much." She said, becoming a little silent.

"I wish he was here, Mama." She sighed. Looking up to her mother with glistening eyes.

"I know you do sweetheart. I know... I do too." Barbara said, pulling her daughter in for a hug. "He'll be there in spirit though. Don't you ever doubt that dear. He would have loved Callie."

"It's impossible not to love her." She breathed. "I wonder what she's doing right now."

"Well, I'm sure she's probably just as sleepy as you are." She laughed, not letting her know she had seen her daughter sneak out last night to meet Callie. "How are you feeling? Nervous?" She asked, rubbing her daughters leg.

"No. I thought I would be. But everything just feels so right, you know." She said, rubbing the sleep from her eyes. "Everything's falling into place. I'm not the least bit nervous about today. But that may be a different story when I see her waiting at the end of the isle for me. I'm scared I'll forget my vowels after I see her. Maybe I should have practiced them as mush as Addison said Callie has." She looked up at her mother and smiled. "Does that.. I dunno.. Make sense?" She shrugged.

"Complete. You're not nervous because you know this is right. That she is the one for you." Her mother nodded. "I'll give you a few minutes then you need to get up and get moving. Breakfast will be ready in a five." Barbara said, walking to the door. "I'll send Teddy up to drag you down if your not down in a few."

"I'll be down in a few minutes Mama." She laughed as her mother left the room. Pulling something out of her bag by her bed, she lost herself in the only few minutes she will have alone today.

Standing in her and Arizona's bathroom wrapped up in a towel, Callie quickly pulled her cell phone out from under the towels where she found it hid a few minutes ago and sent out a text.

- Just wanted to say hi real quick before someone hides my phone again. Addison and Aria hid it after they caught me sneaking back into bed this morning. Oops.. (So worth it.) Haha. So Hi :) and HAPPY WEDDING DAY BABY. Can't wait to see you. I'll be the one standing at the end of the isle with the cheesiest grin. Ohh.. I hear them coming. Bye.. Love you.. See you soon. - XOXOXO Calliope -

"Callie Torres!" Addison said, with her hands on her hips standing by the doorway of the bathroom looking at her friend.

"You should have hid it better." She shrugged, hitting send on the screen.

"I thought we did.. you know what whatever, it doesn't matter. You need to get that ass in gear. There is less than four hours until go time. And we are already running late and your standing here wet in a towel. Get some clothes on, Sergio is finishing Aria's hair and makeup and you're next. Let's go. Chop chop." She said, clapping her hands. Callie had been running late this afternoon because she insisted she needed one more 'practice' session before the wedding, so after an hour and a half of practicing, she had rushed back to shower and to get ready in warp speed.

"Alright.. Alright.." She said, handing Addison her phone before leaving the bathroom and going into her bedroom to get dressed. "Everything ready? My dress, Arias dress? Our bags for the honeymoon?"

"Yes, yes and yes. Everything's set to go sweetie." Addie said, helping Callie get untangled from her shirt. "Callie.. Breath.." She laughed.

"This damn shirt.." She growled, finally pulling it over her head. "I need to call Barbara." She said, picking up her phone from the nightstand where Addison had laid it.

"What? No. I just told you to get downstairs and get your hair and makeup done. You can call her while you're in the chair." Addison said, taking the phone out of her friends hand again.

"Addie. I need to make sure.."

".. You will get this back when you sit your ass down in the chair. So if you want it back now I suggest you take your happy ass downstairs and sit down." Addison said, pointing to the door.

Huffing, Callie walked out of her bedroom and made her way downstairs just as Aria was getting finished. "Wow, Arie. You look gorgeous." Callie said, when she saw her sister. "Are you trying to steal my thunder today?"

"Trust me, sis. You will blow me outta the water today.. I'm positive." She laughed, moving for her sister to take a seat in the chair.

"Ahh.. Miss Callie." Sergio said, as the older Latina sat down. "What are we thinking?" He said, running his fingers through her thick wet hair.

"Maybe a messy side bun style? I wore my hair like that once and Arizona went wild over it." She told him, as he nodded and began blow drying her hair. "Adds, do you have my hair comb I want to use?"

"Yep. Here it is." Addison handed it to the stylist. "And here is your phone." She said handing it to her friend. "..and I'm going to head on out to the river and make sure everything's coming along beautifully. The cake should be arriving in two hours and so should the catering. So I have to make sure the tables and tents are all set up before they show. Want me to take your dress with me and hang it in your tent?"

"Yes please. And there is also a small gift box with an envelope in my walk-in closet on the left in the floor. Will you take it and leave it on Arizona's vanity in her tent?"

"Sure thing." Addie said, leaning in and planting a small kiss on her best friends cheek. "See ya soon." And with that Addison was out of the room and on her way to the venue.

Callie waited for the hair dresser to finish blow drying her hair before she dialed Barbara's number, getting a quick "Hello?"

"Mom?"

"Callie? I was just thinking about you, are you about ready? How are you?"

"Im good. The rain is staying at bay so I couldn't ask for more. I'm getting my hair and make done right now. Is she ready?"

"That's right. It should be a beautiful day. She's..." Barbara paused "...getting there."

"Wait.. getting there? What do you mean?"

"Callie, you know my daughter and Teddy when they're together. They'll do anything and everything but what they should be doing. I swear it's like they're in high school right now." She laughed. "I had to finally separate them so Arizona could get her hair fixed."

"Yeah." Callie laughed. "I was calling to see if you had a chance to..."

"I sure did. I did it last night after you picked her up." Barbara replied, cutting the brunette off. One of Callie's things she wanted to do for her bride, had to be done as close to the wedding as possible because she didn't want Arizona to notice it until she was ready to reveal what she had done.

"Oh.. You know about that, huh?" She laughed.

"Yea. I've not told her that though."

"I got caught too... this morning." She chuckled. "But it was so worth it. How is she?"

"She good. She's had a few moments. One this morning and another a few minutes ago. She's just missing her brother honey."

"Awe I know.." She said sadly, knowing that her fiancé was going to have a hard time today.

"I tried to get her to call you, because I know you can calm her down better than us, but she didn't want you to know she was upset."

"You should have called anyway, I want to always be there for her. Is she.. she's okay now, right?" Callie asked.

"Yeah, she's okay. She's just getting her makeup done. I told her she just needs to focus on getting all prettied up for you. So that's what she's doing."

"Do you think it's too much? What I had you do.. I mean? I don't want to upset her more."

"No. Not at all. She will love you for it. Well, even more if that's possible." She laughed as Callie heard Arizona yell for her mother in the background.

"Was that her?"

"Yeah. I guess I better get."

"Okay. Tell her I love her and I can't wait until the clock strikes 6 o'clock."

"Will do sweetheart. Will do. I can't wait to see how beautiful you are."

"Thank you. I can't wait either."

"See you soon. Bye.

"Bye."

- Happy Wedding Day to you too, my beautiful Calliope. I love you too so so so much. - XXOO your Pudding Pop :) -

- You're my sunshine. You know that right? - XOXO you're Goddess -

- I do. I am okay, Calliope. -XO Ari -

- I know you are. Just wanting you to know I'm here for you. Even though we can't see each other right now, you can talk to me. - XO Cal -

- I know, thank you love. But I'm okay, because.. I'm getting married today to a beautiful, miraculous woman. - XO So lucky -

- That's crazy weird because I'm getting married to a gorgeous ravishing blonde ;) I love you, and I'll see you soon. - XO Callie -

- Can't wait! I can't even put into words how much I love you, my precious Calliope. - XO Arizona -

An hour and a half later, Callie was pulling up to the river in the car her father had arranged for herself and her bride. Looking around she saw people bustling around, making sure everything was done in time. Gazing around, she saw that Arizona's car hadn't made it yet. Getting out of the car with with her father, mother and sister, she walked down to the waters edge where the ceremony would take place in under two hours. The white chairs were aligned, with teal or pink flowers on the end of each row. White rose pedals lead all the way down the aisle ending in a huge pile of white pedals under the tree branch trellis, with Tim's picture hanging on the left side of the archway in honor of his memory. The whole scene was just breathtaking. Hearing footsteps behind her she turned around to see Addison coming her way.

"Well.. what do you think?" Addison asked, still in her work clothes.

"Addie.. it's so beautiful." She smiled, her eyes shinning.

"No no no.. we can't have you crying. Sergio will have a cow." Addison laughed, hugging her best friend. "I tried my best. You really like it?"

"Yes. I love it. You have done an outstanding job." She smiled.

"You're welcome. Now I just need Arizona's approval." She smiled.

"Don't worry. She'll definitely approve." She nodded.

"Well, let me show you the reception area real quick and then you need to get your butt in that tent because there is someone waiting on the main road for you to get into hiding." She pointed.

Turning her head she noticed Arizona's car waiting at the top of the dirt road for her to disappear in her tent, her heart began to race and her breath caught in her throat.

"You okay?" Addison asked, rubbing her back.

"Yeah. I'm just.. really happy." She smiled, wiping the tears out of the corner of her eyes. "Let's go see the replication area so she can come down."

"Alright, Arizona. Lets go." Teddy said, opening the door for her friend. "She's now in her tent. So lets get you in yours."

Climbing out of the car, Arizona looked around at the wedding preparations from afar. Taking a deep breath, she closed her eyes trying to burn the scene into her eyelids permanently.

"Z!" Aria exclaimed, seeing her soon to be sister standing by her car. "Are you excited." She asked hugging the blonde.

"Yes. You look so pretty Aria. I love that dress." She smiled, at her sister in law whom was dressed in a teal and white ombré dress. Will you, give this to your sister?" She asked, holding a white box, with a card under the purple ribbon.

"Sure thing." She winked, taking the box from her and walking across the way to her sisters tent.

"Alright, I got our dresses, we need to get ready we only have thirty minutes. Let's get the show in the road." Teddy said, leading them into the blondes awaiting tent.

Walking into the white canvas, Arizona smiled when she saw a single pale yellow Gerbera flower sitting on top of a small gift box and an envelope that was lying on her vanity. Picking up the flower she closed her eyes and inhaled the sweet scent.

"I'll give you a few minutes." Teddy said, after dressing in her pink and white ombré dress.

Nodding Arizona picked up the envelope that Callie had written 'Mi Amor' on. Opening the flap she pulled the card out. Running her hands of the front of the card that had a pink diamanté ribbon slider in the middle for decoration that read:

To My Wife-To-Be On Our Wedding Day

Arizona

This is the beginning of the rest of our lives to each other. I Will Love You Forever.

Calliope & Arizona

The River

September 20, 2015

Opening the card, she saw her fiancés manuscript covering the whole two sides.

My Arizona

Right now as you read this, I am in my tent thinking of you. I'm imagining seeing you walking down the aisle and my hear soars to new heights. I have never been more certain of anything in my life..

Go ahead and open your gift. I'll wait...

Laughing, Arizona sat the card down and lifted the lid on the small box. Revealing a pair of twisted drop diamond earrings featuring round, bead-set diamonds surrounding a head-turning diamond cluster in the center. "So beautiful." She whispered to herself, pulling the earrings out of the box. She took the ones she already had in, out and put on the ones Callie had just given.

Picking the card back up she continued to read.

I hope you like them. They were my grandmas. She wore them on her wedding day and then passed them down to my mother to wear on her wedding day. Now they're yours. They have been through two happy marriages and today will make three. Go ahead and put on your dress before you finish reading.. It's okay.. I don't care to wait again... ;)

"Teddy? Mama?." Arizona said, poking her head out from her tent. "Can you help me with my dress?" She asked her mother and friend who was standing nearby with her father and Henry.

"Yeah." Teddy said, making her way into the tent with Barbara on her heels. "Oh, Arizona. Those earrings are beautiful." She said, noticing them right off.

"Thank you, they were a gift from Callie." She smiled, pulling off her clothes and slipping her dress in with help. Looking herself over in the mirror, she smiled bright. She felt like a million dollars in the dress.

"You look so beautiful, honey." Barbara said, drying her eyes.

"You really do, Zo."

"Thanks." She grinned.

"Have you finished reading your card?" Barbara asked, knowing what Callie had planned.

Looking at her mother, Arizona eyed her curiously. "No." She said, picking the card back up sassily, wondering what they were up too.

Moving to the corner of the room to give The bride some space as she finished reading the card, Barbara and Teddy took a seat.

With her back to her mother and friend, she continued the card again.

Hi again. I bet you look absolutely breathtaking by now. I know today will be hard for you, I know how much you want Tim to be here in person. But know he is here in spirit. I wanted you to have something close to you of his as we stand in front of everyone and commit our lives to each other so I've put a few things together for you. First off, in your bouquet there is a small picture of you and Tim. Don't bother trying to find it because you can't see it, it is hidden in the stem of the bouquet wrapped up in the pink ribbon. But don't worry, I know it's there.

Picking up her bouquet from the vanity, she inspected it. Callie was right she couldn't see it nor feel it, but if Callie said it was there.. It was there. Taking a tissue from the box, she blotted her eyes.

And lastly, I took a piece of material from one of Tim's lab coats and had it sewn into the breast of your dress. I wanted you to have something of his close to your heart as a reminder that he is always with you wherever you may be. I hope you don't mind. And give your mom a kiss, she arranged all of this for me. I love you, baby.

P.S. I hope I didn't make you cry too much.

Hurry.. freshen up and meet me at our spot.

P.S.S. I also have one more gift to you, but you'll get that later. I love you, my darling.

All my love. All my life.

I cherish you always.

Your Calliope

Sitting the card down, she pulled the top of her dress out from her body, Arizona looked inside and saw the piece of material Callie had wrote about. Closing her eyes and pressing her dress where the extra material was sewn in near to her heart, she let the tears fall. She didn't know how Callie alway did it and she probably would never understood, but her wife always knew what she needed before she even knew herself.

"You okay, honey?" Barbara asked, rubbing her daughters back.

"Ye.." She tried to say but she just couldn't get it out. Taking a deep breath, "Yeah, Mama." Arizona turned around. "I'm great. Thank you for helping, Calliope do this." She said, hugging her mother. "It means the world to me. She's so good to me."

"You're welcome, baby. And yes she is she's great." She said, returning the hug.

"Okay.." The blonde said, taking a few deep breaths and smoothing her dress out. "I'm good." She smiled, seeing Teddy out the corner of her eye.

"Did you see what she had done?"

"I did." Teddy said, stepping closer. "Your mom told me last night when she can in to sew it in your wedding dress when you snuck out last night." She smiled.

"Y'all knew?"

"Yeah." Teddy laughed. "You weren't that quiet."

"I can't believe you didn't stop me." she laughed, wiping her eyes.

"One can never keep someone away from the person that they love. Im going to go get Eldwardo to touch you up. Okay." She said, wiping the tears from her best friends face just as Daniel walked into the tent.

"Kay. Will you make sure this stuff makes back to the house?" Arizona pointed at the card and gift box.

"Yea."

Over in Callie's tent, her mother, grandma and best friend were admiring the brunette in her gown, as Aria was walking through the door. "I come with a gift." The younger Latina said, handing the gift box to her sister. "Arizona wanted me to give you this. And you look beautiful by the way."

"Thanks." She said, sitting the box down. "Can you give me a minute?" She asked, her family and Addison who was all gathered around her.

"You look stunning, my little sweet pea." Maria said, planting a kiss on Callie's cheek before retreating out of the tent with everyone else.

Opening the envelope that read 'To My Wife' Callie smiled as she began read the letter that was within.

My beautiful Calliope,

I have thought and thought hard on what to give you as a wedding gift, I wanted it to be perfect. And then late one night, I saw you peacefully asleep, lying next to me and I knew exactly what to give you. This holds special meaning to me, and I hope it will to you too. I know your going to open this and think 'Why haven't I seen this before?' Am I right?"

Callie read Arizona's writing and laughed.

So let me explain. When Tim died, I talked to someone who suggested that I write my feelings down in a journal. They said it would help me get my emotions out and keep me from bottling everything up.. and they were right. I found relief, albeit a small amount, but it was still an escape to the pain I was feeling. So I wrote. I kept my thoughts personal, I've never told anyone.. even you about this. I wrote sometimes when you were sleeping, in the shower or working late. So that's why you haven't seen it. (Or at least I don't think you have.) I hope you're not mad. :) I felt like it was something that didn't need to be shared. I did however told recently Teddy about it, only because I needed her advice on this gift to you. I began debating with myself whether or not I should give it to you, if you would even like it, but then I remembered you are a badass, but such a romantic at heart and I knew this was perfect. I hope you enjoy.

I love you, Arizona

P.S. I have booked mark the page I would like you to read. Love you.

Opening the gift box, Callie pulled out the brown leather Journal Arizona was talking about. Running her hand softly over the worn top cover. She flipped through the pages, just skimming the book, landing on a page Arizona had bookmarked for her. At the top of the page she ran her fingers over word 'finally' written small above the words traced several times in dark ink. 'MY WEDDING DAY'

finally

MY WEDDING DAY,

September 20, 2015

8:35 a.m.

I snuck out to be with Calliope during the night last night and it kind of felt like I was in junior high and high school again... But I just had to see her one more time before the wedding. We went to our spot on the beach and just laid in each other's arms drifting off to sleep. It was the best feeling in the world. Being in the safe arms of the one that holds your heart. IT'S AMAZING. I set an alarm to wake us up early enough to sneak back in our beds undetected and I think I succeeded, but I'm not sure about Callie. I haven't heard from her since she walked me to the door at mama and daddy's house and gave me the sweetest, most softest kiss on the cheek before going back to our home. Mama woke me up a few minutes ago, I had told her how I missed Tim. Even more today than usual. I think it was the factor that his birthday was just four days ago and today is going to be the biggest day of my life and I just wanted him here for that. But Callie told me once before and mama reminded me again today that he would be in spirit and I feel that they're right. So now, the only thing going through my head now is that I miss Calliope so much. I miss her smile, they way she wraps me up in her arms right before she wakes. I miss her warmth, her morning kisses, her soft touches. The way she combs her fingers through my unruly hair first thing in the morning. GOD.. I even miss the way she yawns and stretches before she gets out of the bed. Okay.. I have to stop because if I don't, I will break and call Callie. And then Teddy will find out and I don't want to listen to the beast gripe this morning. But a little text won't hurt. Right? Today is my day and I... I miss her. Pitiful aren't I? But it's okay. I can handle missing her right now, because after today I will never have to miss waking up without her again. After today she will be mine, always and forever. And I couldn't be more happier about that, even if I tried. Better get going, I have to primp for my bride and also because I hear the beasts footsteps coming up the stairs as I finish this. Bye :)

Wiping her eyes, Callie laughed. Arizona was right, the first thing she though was how come I had never seen this. A little further down the page, Arizona had another journal entry.

Well, it's almost 5 p.m. now. I have prepped the surgical field, (As Callie likes to say) thanks to the Uranian woman across the street from the clinic.

Callie laughed, reading her lovers words.

I'm bathed, plucked, waxed and painted. My makeup has been done in that light and subtle way Calliope loves, my silver headband is in my hair which by the way is flawlessly hanging down my back in that beachy wavy look she loves so much. My dress is hanging in the limo by my side. I am ready. I'm anxiously excited. I could tell as soon as I look in my fathers eyes after we got into the limo that Eldwardo will have to do a lot of retouching my makeup before I walk down the aisle to my destiny. I can't stand when my daddy cries. He's trying his best to hold it in for me because he knows if he cries today I'll cry.

I can't believe it's finally here. In about an hour or so I will be a married woman. Mrs. Arizona Robbins. Im so thrilled to be able to finally call Calliope me wife. In one hour I will be the luckiest and most happiest girl in the entire world. She is the most amazing woman I could have asked for. I love her with every ounce of my being. Always and forever.

We finally arrived at the river a few minutes ago, now I'm waiting in the car by myself because Callie is currently looking at the final touches of the wedding decorations before making her way to her big white tent for her final preparations.

5:20 p.m. (Forty minutes until I get to see your shinning face.)

This is my last entrance in this journal. And I wanted to say, I love you Calliope. When I first started writing this, I never imagined I'd ever share this with anyone and yes :) even you. I started writing in this journal on May 2, 2014 and end today on September 20, 2015. It's kind of crazy, Huh? I started this on the day we met and finished it on our Wedding Day! But then I think maybe not.. Maybe it was meant to be. I wrote about my good times and my bad. My dark days and my happiest. My hopes and dreams and our hopes and dreams. Our worst and our best times are written here too. On this day, Calliope, our wedding day. I give this to you. It's only our beginning. I hope you cherish it as much as I cherish you. I hope that when times are bad or times are tough or blissfully happy.. You can read this journal and know that no matter what, my love (our love) is eternal.

I love you, Calliope and I can't wait to make you my bride.

With all the love I have, Arizona.

Ps: Dry your eyes and meet me at the end of the aisle. I love you baby.

Reading the last page, She closed the book, Callie blotted her eyes, trying not to smear her makeup as she noticed another journal in the gift box on the table before her. Pulling it out, she read the little sticky note that was stuck to the front leather.

Hi again,

I plan on writing our future in this blank journal, and then I thought.. maybe we can share our thoughts in this one together? Perhaps pass it down to the kids one day?

I can't say it enough, so here it is again. I love you SO much, baby.

XXOO - Your Arizona

Tears were steadily rolling down her face reading Arizona's journal. She was blown away at Arizona's gift. She never knew her wife wrote in a journal, much less depicted their life together in one.

Hearing a knock at her tent, she turned to see her father enter the door.

"It's almost time, Mija. You ready?" He asked, stepping into the room. "Are you okay?

"Yeah. I'm great daddy. Arizona's gift just got to me a little.. in a good way." She breathed, checking and fixing her makeup one last time before she walked down the aisle. "She really loves me, daddy." she said, pickup up the book again and flipping through the pages, noticing a journal entry titled 'New Beginnings'. She wanted to start reading, but she knew if she started she wouldn't want to put her journal down. Taking one last deep breath, "I'm ready." She said, closing the book and placing it back in the box.

WHAT IS JAMES UP TOO?

I loved their gifts to each other. The weddings FINALLY HERE. I can't wait to hear what you guys think of this chapter.

Also, just curious.. are you guys interested in seeing some of the journal entries Arizona had written? I was thinking about incorporating it sometimes in the story. We may find things out we didn't necessarily know about their first year together.. we'll see how it plays out.

I WANT TO KNOW WHAT YOU'RE THINKING!
