Chapter 48

As the guests were all being seated, soft music was playing in the background while a picture slideshow of Arizona and Callie as babies, kids, teens, young adults and now a couple played on a small projector to the side of the alter.

"This place looks absolutely amazing Addison. You've outdone yourself." Teddy said as Henry hugged her from behind as they waited for the wedding to get started.

"Thanks Teddy. It doesn't even look like the same place. I really wanted Callie and Arizona to have the best, and when Carlos told me money wasn't a problem, I decided go big or go home. I've known Callie forever it seems and she's dreamed of this day for so long and I wanted it to be her fairytale wedding." Addison said, the officiant made his way down to the end of the isle.

"Well Arizona's not really been that type. But I think since shes been with Callie, she's brought some of that out in her and she couldn't believe how beautiful it all looked when we arrived. It's going to be a perfect day for them."

"Yep, nothing can ruin this day... except maybe Erica." Addison laughed just as Meredith, Cristina and the gang walked up to them.

"Did someone say something about the cardio stalker?" Meredith asked. "Because word is around town she was spotted in town today walking into a dress shop." She informed.

"Oh hell.." Teddy sighed. "You don't think?"

"No!" Addison shook her head. "Hahn's not that fucking stupid." She said, "She knows Callie would absolutely kill her."

"Well.. I wouldn't think she would try what she's already tried either." Meredith reasoned.

"Besides how would she even know today is their wedding day?" The red head asked. "And there is no way she could find this place, unless someone close to Callie would have told her."

"Yeah, but don't you think it's kind of funny that no one hasn't seen hide not hair of the blonde witch since their incident at the pizza place back in May and then all of the sudden she shows face in Seattle on Cals wedding day?" Cristina asked.

Taking a deep breath, "It does seem.. odd." Addison shrugged. "Im telling you what... if she shows face, she won't have to worry about what Callie... or Arizona for that matter. She will need to worry about me. She better not fucking ruin this wedding."

"Lets keep it down." Teddy said, looking towards the tents her friends were held up in. "I don't want them hearing anything about Hahn being in town much less coming to crash this wedding." She whispered.

"If Hahn shows up, I'll handle her." Cristina said, "I've been waiting for this moment for years and there is no way I'll pass it up if she shows her fugly face." She said, pulling Meredith towards their seats.

"You and Arizona are spending way to much time together." Meredith laughed at Cristina stealing one of the blondes sayings.

"Well she is." Cristina shrugged. "Fugly as hell."

"I hope you're right Addie!" Teddy said, watching the last of the guests take their seats.

"Me too." Addison said, taking a deep breath. "Come on, it's go time." She said, starting towards the tent to let Callie know.

"Calliope. You look absolutely gorgeous, Mija."

"Thank you, Papi." She said, taking a deep breath to calm her nerves before her father stepped up to embrace her.

"I want you to know, just because you're going to be a married woman in a few minutes doesn't mean you're not my little girl anymore. It only means I gain another one."

"I'll always be your little girl, daddy."

"I just want you to know, you and Arizona can still come to your mother and I if you ever need anything."

"We know."

"Sis, were up." Aria said, poking her head in the tent just as Addison walked up behind her to let her know it's go time.

"Okay." She breathed, turning around to pick up her bouquet. "Ready daddy?"

"I'll never be ready to give my baby away. But, yes. I'm ready to share you." He winked. "Let's go get you married, Mija."

Walking out of her tent, Arizona watched as Aria made her way down the aisle. Looking around at all their family and friends gathered around, she took in the scene before her. Turning her gaze away just before Callie walk down the aisle, she looked up at her dad.

"Breath honey." Daniel whispered, to his daughter.

"Does she look pretty?" Arizona asked as the soft instrumental melodies of 'Kiss Me' started to play signaling Callie's walk down the aisle.

Watching Callie walk down the walk way in a long white one shouldered dress with a slit up the left side, alongside a pleat on her left side including a stunning silver beading. "Beautiful bug, absolutely beautiful." He said, looking down at his daughter. "And so do you." He said as they walked closer while Teddy made her way down the aisle. "What do you say we go and make her a Robbins?"

"I say, it's about damn time." She giggled, stopping at the top of the aisle as all heads turned towards her. Meeting the beautiful brown eyes she craves 24/7, she smiled brightly as the world around her seemed to fade.

Watching Teddy take her place at the front of the aisle, Callie's nerves began to pick up. "Breathe mija." Carlos whispered to his oldest daughter as he felt her body slightly tremor.

Nodding her head, "Right." she slowly looked up the aisle and saw Daniel and Arizona beginning to make their way down to her. "Daddy?" Watching her bride walk closer and closer to her in a white flowy dress that hugged her right under her breast, Callie's breath caught in her throat. She hasn't ever saw a more beautiful sight in her life. Getting a 'Hmm.' In response from her father, "How am I suppose to breathe when she looks like that? She's looks absolutely angelic." She whispered to him. She had never seen her bride look more stunning. Finally meeting blue eyes, Callie returned the stunning smile her fiancé was giving, making all of her nerves fade away.

"She's dazzling, Mija."

"Dad?" Arizona whispered as they were walking down the aisle.

"Yeah, bug?"

"She Looks magnificent." Her voice trembled, trying her best to reel in her emotions. She didn't want to be a basket case before it even started.

"She sure does."

Making it to the end of the aisle where Callie and Carlos stood, Arizona couldn't take her eyes off of her beautiful bride. "Hi." She grinned with watery eyes.

"Hi." Callie retuned her smile and damp eyes. Neither saying anything else, only showing the emotions to each other through the look in their eyes as the officiating began and they finally faced the speaker.

"Today, as we join Callie and Arizona in marriage, we celebrate them as they begin a new family together. Yet we also know that this new branch of the family tree will be strengthened and enriched by the love, traditions, and knowledge of their family roots. Will you Carlos Torres and Daniel Robbins bless Callie and Arizona in their marriage? Will you celebrate them in their times of joy, and bolster them and their marriage in times of hardship?" He asked, as both men held their daughters hands.

"I do." Daniel and Carlos said in unison as they laid their daughters hands in their soon to be daughter in laws.

"I missed you." Arizona whispered as their fathers took their seats next to their mothers.

"I've missed you too. You look so amazing." Callie breathed.

"Thank you, you're so breathtaking." She replied as the officiant began again.

"Ladies and gentlemen, today we have gathered here together to celebrate the love and commitment that Callie and Arizona share." He said to the guests.

"Callie, Arizona." He said to the couple. "Marriage is a promise between two people who love each other, who trust each other, who honor one another as individuals in that togetherness, and who wish to spend rest of their lives with each other. It enables the two separate souls to share their desires, longings, dreams, joys and sorrows, and to help each other through all uncertainties of life. Marriage is commitment to take that joy deep, deeper than happiness, deep into the discovery of who you most truly are. It is a commitment to a spiritual journey, to a life of becoming. In which joy can comprehend despair, running through rivers of pain into joy again. And thus marriage is even deeper than commitment. It is a covenant, a covenant that says, I love you. I trust you. I will be here for you when you are hurting, and when I am hurting, I will not leave." He said, to the the joined couple as he turned the page in his book. "Each of you have chosen to write your own vows, so Arizona.. Would you would like to share with Callie?"

"Yes." She smiled, taking a deep calming breath as she looked to her smiling bride. "First off I just wanted to say I love you." She said, squeezing her hands. "Calliope, from the moment I met you, I knew you were so special. You've surprised me, distracted me, captivated me and challenged me in a way that no one ever has. I have fallen in love with you over and over again countless times without reservation and I fall more in love with you every single day. You are my best friend..." She smiled, before turning around and giving Teddy a wink. "Sorry Teds." She laughed, turning to focus her attention back to her smiling bride. "..and you're my lover. I promise to be true to you, to uplift you and support you, to frustrate and challenge you." She smiled, wiping the tears out of Callie's eyes before taking her tanned hand again. "I'm already pretty good at that one, huh." She laughed, which cause a round of laughter from the guests witnessing these two join their lives together.

"You are." Callie laughed.

"I promise to lay under the stars with you as much as possible, to share with you all the beautiful, quirky moments of life. I will forever be there to laugh with you and to lift you up when you are down. I will love you truly, through good times and in bad. I will hold you and wipe your tears away in times of sorrow. Your love for me is deep and my love for you is just as endless. No matter what trials we encounter or what hardships we endure together or how much time has passed, know that a love like ours will never fade. That we will always find strength in one another, and that we will continue to grow side by side. You are my partner in crime and I will love you Calliope Torres, always and forever with every beat of my heart." She smiled, never taking her eyes off the wet chocolate ones before her.

"Callie, would you please read Arizona your vows."

Nodding, she took the tissue Aria offered her, wiped her eyes and cleared her throat. "Arizona." Callie smiled, she couldn't stop her hands from shaking uncontrollably.

"It's okay.. Just breathe." Arizona winked, running her thumbs on the top of her lovers hands to sooth her when she felt Callie's emotions.

"Mi Amor, my heart has been yours since the first time I saw you. You have been my rock, my safety, my happy and warm place to lay my head at night. As I stand here before you, in the same spot we met, I see all of the things I fell in love with. Your dimples, your beautiful blue eyes and your breathtaking smile. My heart beats so strongly for you. As I stand here holding your hand." She said, squeezing Arizona's tighter. "It makes me remember how complete you make my life. I remember every laugh we have shared and every hard time we have ever endured together. You are the love of my life. You are the missing half that has made me whole. And today I stand here to ask you to be my wife, my partner for the rest of my life. I vow to fiercely love you in all your forms, now and forever. I promise to never forget that what we have is a once in a lifetime love. I can't promise you a perfect marriage but I can promise you a life filled with love and laughter. I promise to be spontaneous and adventurous. To always be silly, and outgoing. To cherish each moment I have with you and always make time for us. I promise to always get butterflies when you walk into the room and to love with actions and not just words. To hold your hand and dance in the rain with you. To give you the last bite of cake." She laughed, wiping the stray tears that fell from blue eyes. "To hold you when you get scared or sad and to baby you when you get sick." She smiled. "I promise that you will always be the most important person in my life. Let my heart be your shelter and my arms be your home. Like you for always and love you forever, without end." She finished, looking into tearstained eyes. "I love you." She whispered.

"I love you too." Arizona said, as Callie wiped the tear that was about to drop from her jaw.

"Can I please have the rings?" He asked the maids of honor. "A circle is the symbol of sun, the earth, the universe, of wholeness, perfection, peace and of unity. As circles, your rings have no beginning and no ending." He said holding the two rings up in front of them. "They are symbols of the growing relationship you have come to celebrate and confirm. Your wedding rings are symbolic of your commitment to each other and your endless love for one another."

"Arizona. Do you take Callie to be your lawfully wedded wife, to scratch her back at least twice a week, to have and to hold from this day on, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish for all the days of your life and until your last breath?"

"I really do." Arizona giggled, not expecting to hear that.

"I may have snuck that in there." Callie snickered.

"If it means you'll be my wife, I'll scratch your back every night for the rest of my life." She whispered.

"Repeat after me, Arizona." He said, handing her Callie's wedding ring to slip on her finger.

"With this ring, I thee wed." She repeated, slipping the ring on Callie's left ring finger, she placed a tender kiss on the shinny silver band.

"Callie. Do you take Arizona to be your lawfully wedded wife, to have and to hold from this day on, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish for all the days of your life and until your last breath?"

"I do." She said, looking into blue eyes.

"Repeat after me." He said, handing Callie Arizona's ring to slip on the blondes finger.

"With this ring, I thee wed." The brunette said, sliding on the white gold band.

"Until now, Arizona and Callie have spent each moment of their lives as separate individuals. But from this day on and every day after this day shall be shared and spent as one. By the power enthroned in me, by the state of Washington. I now pronounce you wife and wife. You may now kiss your bride."

Smiling her full on dimpled smile, Arizona couldn't believe they were finally married. "Bout time." She grinned, Cupping Callie's face as the brunette did the same.

Leaning in they pressing their lips to each others in the softest, yet most passionate kiss they had ever shared. Forgetting about the world around them, Callie swiped her tongue over Arizona's bottom lip causing the blonde to slightly part her pink lips just enough for Callie to suck the bottom in between her red lips giving it a tender bite before pulling back and smiling.

"I love you."

"And I love you."

"Today we have gathered together to celebrate the happiness of the newlyweds." The officiant said to the guests. "They are pleased that so many family and friends have come to witness their exchanging of wedding vows. Each one of you have been important in their lives, and they look forward to your love and support in the future as they begin their journey as wife and wife. Callie and Arizona would like to pay tribute to a family member who is no longer with us physically, but whose gifts of love and compassion over the years will always be cherished and remembered. We are certain that he is here today in spirit as well in memories. In the memory of Timothy Robbins, let us be silent together for a new moments.

Wrapping her arm around her wife's waist, Callie pulled her closer giving her wife some strength in the moment of silence for the blondes brother as she laid her head in the brunettes shoulder.

"Thank you." The man said after thirty seconds of silence. "And now without further ado, may I present to you... Mrs. and Mrs. Robbins."

All their guests stood to their feet and cheered the newlyweds as the couple made their way back up the aisle as one, hand in hand smiling and whispering loving words to each other. "Come with me, now." Callie whispered as the made it to the top of the aisle. Quickly leading Arizona to her tent she had dressed in to steal a few minutes to theirselves, pulling Arizona close out of the eyes of the guest milling around. Callie kissed her they way she had been dying to since she saw her come into view at the top of the path with her father.

"Is it just me or do our kisses seem better than ever?" Arizona breathed, resting her head on Callie's forehead. The kisses they had shared after they were pronounced wife and wife were completely different from anything they had ever shared before Arizona felt. They were more loving if possible, more deeper, more life fulfilling, more passionate and Callie felt the same way.

"I'll take a kiss from my wife over ten kisses from my girlfriend or fiancé any day." Callie returned in a whisper.

"Oh so you're saying you have a wife, girlfriend and a fiancé?" Arizona teased.

"Had." She smiled and shrugged. "Now I only have the most amazing, most gorgeous, most loving and caring woman that I get the honor of calling my wife."

"Say it again." Arizona smiled.

"You, Mrs. Arizona Robbins are my wife." Callie said, kissing her wife again more forcefully than before. Sucking Callie's bottom lip in her mouth, Arizona moaned at the taste of her wife on her lips.

"And you, Calliope Robbins are my miraculously, stunning wife that has a face like sunshine." Arizona whisperer, looking up at her wife, nestling her nose against the carameled one. Callie was glowing more radiantly than ever before and Arizona was in pure awe that this woman was now hers forever.

"And you are more beautiful than Cinderella."

"Calliope.." She sighed, caressing her lovers face. She loved how with only a few words her wife could make her feel like the most beautiful person in the world. "That's a lot to live up too." The blonde laughed.

"I think you can manage it." She laughed. "I can't get over how magnificent you look today. Not that you don't look magnificent to me everyday, but today you have this beautiful aura about you." Callie pulled back a little more and smiled. "You have made me so happy, Arizona." She said, tears forming in her eyes.

"Don't cry." Arizona replied, drying Callie's eyes. "You start crying and then I'll start crying." She laughed.

"But I'm just so happy."

"Me too. You are making all my dreams come true, dreams I didn't even know I had."

"Mine too.. I think I forgot how to breathe when I saw you at the end of the aisle." My dad had to remind me." She laughed.

"Me too.." She whispered. "You look.." She said, shaking her head. "I can't even put it into words, Calliope. You captivate me." She said, leaning in to capture red lips in a sensual kiss.

"Hey guys." Addison said poking her head inside the tent. "The photographer's ready for pictures."

"We'll be out in a minute Addie. I just need a little more alone time with my wife." Callie told the red head, never taking her eyes of her lovers.

"Make it quick love birds." She said, before disappearing.

"Can we skip our reception and get to the good stuff?" Arizona asked, wiggling her eyebrows.

"Keep your pants on Mrs. Robbins. You've waited this long, you can wait a little longer. Besides you have to work for this." She said, running her hand up and down her side. "..before you can get into my pants."

"But, baby.." Arizona purred.

"Not a chance, hot stuff." Callie laughed. "I've been waiting too long for this day and now that it's here, I'm going to dance my ass off and celebrate scoring the hottest woman on the planet."

"Okay.." She grumbled, giving in. "Come on, let's go make some memories." Arizona said, pulling her in for one last private kiss. Pressing her pink lips into Callie's, she deepened the kiss by placing her hand on the back of the Latinas neck, exploring her mouth and enjoying the taste that is her wife.

After tons of pictures, some of just Callie, some of just Arizona, pictures together with the sunset and water behind them, pictures with their friends and wedding party and with each couples parents and then all together, all the while the guests mingled around and enjoyed the open bar in the reception area. They were finally ready to party.

"Can we have cake now?" Arizona asked walking hand in hand with Callie to the reception tent.

"How about we have our first dance and then some dinner cause I'm starving and then.." She said, cupping the blondes face. "I promise we can have cake right after."

"Deal." Arizona said, pecking Callie's lips as they walked up to the tent where the party was in full swing.

"Ladies and gentleman, please join me in welcoming for the first time tonight, Mrs. and Mrs. Robbinssss.." The Band announced as Arizona and Callie with huge grins gracing their faces, raised their joined hands while walking into the reception with a round of applause from their family and friends.

Walking to Arizina to the dance floor, Callie whispered a faint "Be right back." as she left the blonde standing there alone on the sparkling white dance floor with thousands and thousands of tiny lights hanging their heads.

Walking to the stage, Callie grabbed the mic and hit the top a couple of times to get everyone's attention. "Excuse me?" She said, through the mic. "Before Arizona and I dance our first dance as wife and wife." She smiled, looking towards her blonde. "I just want to say a little something about my choice. My wife gave me the honor of picking out our first dance song and I took this job very seriously. I thought long and hard and went through several songs before finally finding the perfect one while I was listening to pandora while cleaning one day." She laughed, remembering how she felt as soon as the song started to play that day. "This song came out when I was a young girl and granted I'm not the biggest lover of country music, but I fell in love with this song from the first moment I heard it and still to this day it's one of my favorites. I always said this was a song for my future spouse, and now that she's right here in front of me, I think it's only fitting to dance our first dance to this song as a married couple." She winked at her wife before placing the mic back on the stand and meet the open loving arms of her blonde at the bottom of the steps.

"I can't wait to hear what you've chosen for us."

"It's a song that is perfect for us.." Callie whispered to her bride. "May I have this dance, milady?" She asked giving a slight curtesy as the music began.

"Yes you may." Arizona giggled, taking Callie's hand and walking with her to the middle of the dance floor.

As I sit here surrounded by people and lights

Alone with my drink at the bar

You've been here forever, so clear in my mind

I just don't know where you are

But I know I'll find you but girl 'til I do

This is my love song for you

Taking Callie's right hand in her left, Arizona laced their fingers together and pulled her close. Wrapping her right arm around the small of her wife's waist as she did the same, the blonde brought up their joined hands to her lips with a soft kiss looking into deep brown eyes. Conveying all the love she had in that one look.

Lets hold hands on the porch swing, under the moon

While the wind through the willows plays us a tune

We can lie on a blanket, out back in the yard

And wish for our future on a faraway star

You'll feel the passion as time after time

I press your sweet lips to mine

We can dance to the radio right up 'til dawn

'Til you drift off to dream in my arms

Swaying to the slow melodies, Callie danced cheek to cheek with her new wife as the lyrics flowed freely. Closing her eyes as she pictured their life and what was to come. Holding hands, lying underneath the stars the same way they've done what felt like a thousand times, but still wasn't enough. Babies, vacations, Christmases, birthdays. Feeling her emotions bubbling up, "Have I mentioned that your dress is absolutely exquisite? You are so beautiful Arizona, so beautiful. You just don't know how lucky I am." She said pulling back to look her lover with tear stained eyes.

You might be hundreds or more miles away

Or you might be just down the street

But there'll be a hunger deep in your eyes

That I'll recognize when we meet

It might take hours or it might take years

But this is the song you will hear

"I do, Calliope. I know how extremely lucky we both are. To have a love like ours.. It's the stuff most people can only dream about their whole entire life. And to have found that.. at our age, it's phenomenal." She said, bringing her hand up to stop the tears before they fell down caramel cheeks. "I love you so much, baby."

"I love you too." Callie said, leaning in for a slow languid kiss as the world faded around them.

Lets hold hands on the porch swing under the moon

While the wind through the willows plays us a tune

We can lie on a blanket out back in the yard

And wish for our future on a faraway star

And you'll feel the passion as time after time

I press your sweet lips to mine

We can dance to the radio right up 'til dawn

'Til you drift off to dream in my arms

"And might I add.." She said, resting her forehead on Callies. "..I don't hold a candle to my breathtakingly stunning wife. Have you saw the dress she's wearing tonight? She's definitely a head turner." She whispered.

"No I haven't. I'll have to go check her out. I bet she's hot."

"She's very hot." Arizona smiled, as Callie began to sing the end of the lyrics to her sweetly.

You'll feel the passion as time after time

I press your sweet lips to mine

We can dance to the radio... right up 'til dawn...

'Til you drift off... to dream in my arms...

As the music slowly came to an end, the couple just stayed in place swaying as Callie sang the lyrics again in the blondes ear.

"That was the perfect song, Calliope." She said, after the Latina give her a quick peck on the lips.

"I'm glad you like it, I thought so too."

"Can we have cake now?" She whispered.

Laughing, "Not yet. You have to eat first. You need your strength for later." She purred as the crowd applauded their first dance.

"Later?" She perked up.

"Umhmm.." Callie nodded leading them to their table.

"But our flight is like what? Fourteen hours give or take ." Arizona whined.

"Quicky in the limo?" Callie asked hopeful.

"What? Absolutely not. I've not waited this long to have a quick lay on the way to the airport. I want to take my time exploring my wife's delicious body." She husked in her ear, sending chills down the taller woman's spin.

"I can't wait." Callie shuttered.

After their first dance, Callie and Arizona sat down to have a little dinner before more celebrating took place, several of their friends and family stopped by their table and congratulated the couple when they had the chance.

Taking a bit of her food after the congratulations seemed to die down, Arizona leaned in to whisper in her wife's ear. "Thank you for my gifts, Calliope. You always know how to make me feel better." She said, leaning her forehead on the side of the brunettes and planing a tender kiss on her ear.

"You're very welcome, baby." Callie said, setting her champagne glass down on the table in front of her. "How are you doing with that? Are you okay?"

"I am. Thanks to you. You..." Arizona said, shaking her head. "You have absolutely no idea how much those two little gestures mean to me. And my earrings, I love them. I feel honor to be able to carry on a Torres tradition." She said, wrapping her arms around her lover.

"Well I feel honored to be able to carry on the Robbins name." She said, pecking pink lips. "I love you."

"Is this thing on?" Teddy said, beating on the microphone, causing loud thuds to beat through the speakers. "Well I take that as a yes." She laughed.

"Oh god." Arizona whispered to her wife. "I think she's drunk."

"I do believe so." Callie laughed.

"I'm Teddy for the few of you that my not know. Arizona has been like a sister to me for years. And I am honored to share this night with her." She said, smiling at her best friend. "What is so great about marriage? That's what Arizona always used to ask me. She didn't see why getting married was a good idea. After a while relationships get old, boring and musty. And then you stop caring. That's her words, not mine honey." She said looking over to Henry. "Anyway.. Deep down thought, I knew she really didn't think that was true. I knew she was hoping for the right girl and it would be just a matter of time before she found her. And then that day came, She met Callie right here at the river. That day started out normal as it could when you go camping. I'm not really sure how that would go about because I refuse to go along with her because that's just not really my thing. But anyway.. on with my speech. She went about that day not even knowing she was getting ready to meet her future wife. When she had called me to tell me she had met someone at the river, I could tell that she didn't just initiate another relationship that was destined for the incinerator. For the first time in a very long time I could tell she was hopeful. I could tell that the old Arizona I hadn't seen in over a year was starting to shine through again. I could tell she had met someone who was about to change her life. And boy was I right, she started talking about love and marriage and then I really knew that she had found the one when she started talking about having babies." Teddy laughed. "When I had finally met Callie I could tell why Arizona was so enamored by her. She's funny, smart, beautiful, caring, compassionate and what I'm proud to say.. a great friend that I will always hold dear to my heart. And with that I'd like to conclude this little toast." She said, walking to the edge of the stage and picking up what looked like a long picture frame. "I came up with a little wedding gift for you two, but I had to rummage through your camping items in the garage a few months ago to find what I needed. So I hope you don't mind." She said, turning the item around to the guests. Revealing the shadow box picture frame she had professionally made, holding different pictures of the couple camping and the roasting stick that brought them together, inside of the frame. "If a picture is worth a thousand words than this must be worth a million. Love doesn't make the world go round, it just makes it worth while. To the brides." She said holding yo her glass.

"To the brides." The guests toasted the ladies.

"Teddy." Arizona said, as she met her best friend coming off the stage. "You're awesome you know that? You surprise me each and every day." she said hugging her friend.

"You like it?" She asked as the couple examined the frame.

"Seriously? We love it, Teds. Thank you." Callie said, taking her turn and hugging her friend. "You're a pretty great friend too."

As the evening wore in, tons of silly pictures were took in the photo booth that Addison had arranged, the cake was cut much to Arizona's delight, Aria's maid of honor speech was said and several more dances were shared. The girls mingled around talking to their guest wanting to be on their way to their honeymoon before long. In the corner, Arizona was in a conversation with her father as she heard a very familiar voice in the mic.

"If I can have everyone's attention for a few minutes." Callie's voice rang out over the speakers. "You too Nana." She laughed seeing her and Cristina being awful chummy over drinks. "Cristina, she is no Arizona so do not challenge her to a drinking contest." She pointed at her friend. "Anyway.. We would like to personally thank every one of you for coming out and celebrating this joyous day with us. We love each and every one of you. To my bride, Arizona.. where ever you are." She said looking out into the crown. "Come foreword babe, let me see you." She laughed. "As you already know, I'm not the best person with words."

"Not true, Calliope." She heard her wife say as she came into view on the dance floor in front of the stage. "You're better than I am most times."

"That's debatable, but I digress." She winked. "Do you remember the night I proposed on the yacht?" She asked her getting a nod in response. "I sang to you that night, just you and I. We danced to the beat of our own music. You said you were blown away by my voice."

"I was. You have the most beautiful voice, baby." Arizona said from the dance floor as her father stepped up beside her.

"Thanks." She breathed, blowing out a breath of air, trying to calm her nerves. "You know I am not a fan of public speaking at all, but you have this way about you that makes me want do and accomplish everything in life. So I wanted to surprise you tonight and sing a song for you, but every song I listened to wasn't good enough, not perfect enough for you and I wanted perfect. So I decided to write one for you, and that didn't go too well either. If you can recall the night you found me in our den with a hundred pieces crumpled up paper on the floor."

"Yeah." Arizona laughed. "You said you were studying some case files and scans." She knew that Callie was fibbing when she told her that but she decided to leave it alone.

"Yea.. I lied." She laughed. "I was trying to write you a song, but I couldn't put how I felt into words, so I gave up on the idea." She said, remembering the few times Arizona almost caught her writing. "But that was until three days ago. I woke up early with you sleeping so peacefully beside me and I couldn't get these words on the paper fast enough. After hours and hours of trying and failing to write you a song, I had one this one finished in under fifteen minutes. I got with the band yesterday after we parted ways for the day and they helped me put it to music just for you. Now I'll remind everyone that this is my first attempt of writing anything or singing publicly so.. Just bare with me please." She said turning to the band and giving them a nod to begin. "Mi Amor. This is for you, baby." She said, taking the mic off the stand.

You've got a way with me

Somehow you got me to believe
In everything that I could be
I've gotta say... You really got a way

Stepping closer to the stage, Arizona never took her eyes off her wife. Tears already glistening in her eyes as the her wife sang to her.

You've got a way it seems
You gave me faith to find my dreams
You'll never know just what that means
Can't you see... You got a way with me

The crowd around them started to conjure around the dance floor swaying to the music. But to the newlyweds, it was as if they were the only two people in the world right now.

It's in the way you want me
It's in the way you hold me
The way you show me just what love's made of
It's in the way we make love

Resting her head on her fathers shoulder, she watched her wife sing the most beautiful song lyrics to her.

You've got a way with words
You get me smiling even when it hurts
There's no way to measure what your love is worth
I can't believe the way you get through to me

Arizona was in pure awe of the woman before her, tears steadily steaming down her face as she watching Callie motion for her to come on stage with her.

It's in the way you want me
It's in the way you hold me
The way you show me just what love's made of
It's in the way we make love

Wanting to be near her wife, Callie took Arizona's hand and walked her over to the center of the stage and wiped her tears as she continued to serenade her new bride.

Oh, how I adore you
Like no one before you
I love you just the way you are

Caressing Arizona's moist cheeks, Callie turned to stand directly in front of her wife and looked into her sole as she finished the song.

It's in the way you want me
It's in the way you hold me
The way you show me just what love's made of
It's in the way we make love

It's just the way you are

"Cal-liope." she cried, wrapping her arms around the brunettes neck and burying her head.

"Did you like it." Callie whispered, handing the lead singer in the band the mic and wrapping her arms around her lover.

"Did I like it?" She laughed "I loved it. I can't believe you wrote a song for me." She mumbled onto her shoulder.

"You're worth writing a song for." She laughed.

"You amaze me, you know that?" She said, leaning back and looking into brown eyes. "Your practice paid off."

"You think so? I was scared I was going to mess up so I went and practiced some more this morning." She said kissing her wife on the forehead. "What do you say we get outta here?"

"Yes." She nodded, drying her tears.

Walking down off the stage, they started to cross the dance floor to say a few quick goodbyes but the band vying for their attention stopped them. "Callie.. Arizona." The lead singer spoke up. "The boys and I wanted to do a little something special for you guys. So Callie we secretly recorded your last session this morning, which was flawless by the way, and made you a cd so you guys can remember it forever." He said handing Callie the cd.

"Thank you guys." She said taking the cd.

"You're all so awesome!" Arizona chimed in as the musicians started playing the next song.

"This is for you." Callie smiled, handing the disk to her wife.

"I'm so turning this into my new ringtone." She said, sticking the cd down the top of her dress, causing the brunette to shake her head and laugh. "Wanna run off together?" She wiggled her eyebrows.

"Lets go." Callie said, pulling her through the tent to where their family were seated talking amongst theirselves. Grabbing their belongings, they rushed towards the exit of the tent.
