Chapter 53
Walking upstairs after she got off the phone with her father, Callie heard the jets in the bathtub jacuzzi on. Leaning against the doorframe of the bathroom she watched as Arizona was laid out in the tub peacefully enjoying the massage the water was giving her. Sighing, she smiled when Arizona began humming along to the music. It was times like this, that she felt so content with her life. "Is this a solo party or is anyone invited?" Callie asked, walking closer to the tub.
"I think I can make room for one more." She said, opening one eye to look up at her wife. "Everything okay?" She smiled.
"Yeah, he doesn't know anything yet, they are still looking into it." The brunette said, pulling her shirt and pants off. "He said, Ray should be out here by morning."
"Ray?"
"He's one of my dads guys." Callie said stripping her underwear off. "Scoot up."
"Oooh.. You're going to be my big comfy pillow?" Arizona smiled "You're so pretty." She said as she felt Callie sink into the watcher behind her.
"Thanks." She laughed. "God, this feels so good." Callie moaned, as the water eased her body.
Laying back on her wife, "It did.. now it feels even better." Arizona sighed, snuggling into her wife's naked front. "So this Ray? He's only accompanying us on outings. Correct?"
"Yeah. Until my father lets us know otherwise." Callie said, leaning back in the tub and resting her head on the back of the tub.
"Well.. at least we have a legitimate excuse to stay in the room." She laughed. "Cause I had been thinking of excuses as to why we weren't going to have a lot of stories about the sites we hadn't seen." She laughed, trying to change the mood of her wife. She knew Callie wasn't pleased with the fact that the man was following them and Arizona was determined to not let it ruin their time away.
"You're right." She laughed, kissing the blondes bare shoulder. "I did say we have a jam packed schedule and we're late with keeping up."
"Oh yeah?" Arizona hummed, caressing her hand up her wife's thigh and then back down.
"Mhmm.. We should be one.. maybe even two orgasms down by now." She said, hugging her wife from behind.
"Oh? So you think you're that good?" She asked, turning her face into Callie's neck.
"Well.. from what I remember my wife telling me last night... I'm damn near spectacular." Callie laughed in her ear.
"Mmhmm.. beyond actually." She laughed as chills ran over her body. She felt so secure in her lovers arms and if she didn't do anything else on their honeymoon but sit like this in Callie's embrace the way she was now, she could die a happy woman tomorrow. "You make me feel so safe, Calliope." She said, turning on her side and wrapping her arms around her wife's waist.
Kissing blonde hair, "That's my job, that's what I do." She said, caressing Arizona's side. "Everything I do is because of you, I'll keep you safe with me." She said, hugging her wife tight.
"I love you." She said, kissing just below the Latinas neck.
"I love you too." She said, tweaking her wife's nipples as the blonde turned back around and laid against her.
"Calliope." Arizona laughed, swatting her wife's hands away from her breasts.
"Let me play with them.." She laughed, cupping her wife's breasts.
"We were having a nice moment, and you had to go and get all handsy on me." She said, grabbing caramel hands and moving them down to her stomach. "Geez.."
"Arizona.." Callie whined, "Let me." She said, squeezing the blondes sides.
"Uh-uh.." The blonde teased, shaking her head.
"I want to play with them... just for a minute." She purred, inching her hands closer.
"Listen to yourself. You are becoming a big perv, Calliope." Arizona giggled.
"I can't help it. It's always on my mind when I'm with you." She said, laughing.
"And earlier today you said I was such a man.. I think you got us mixed up, Mrs. Robbins, because you are just as bad as a horny guy."
Laughing in the blondes neck, Callie softly kissed her behind the ear. "If I was a guy, I would have had you pregnant months ago." She purred, causing Arizona to stiffen. Thinking she had said the wrong thing, Callie tried to quickly change the subject. "Let's warm this bath up a little, it's getting a little cool in here." She said, leaning up to turn on the hot water before resting back against the tub again.
Arizona's mind had been going ninety miles a minute thinking about the subject the last few days, but didn't want to broach the subject so soon into their marriage. But she couldn't take her mind off of it. She had stopped herself a few times today from talking about it, but now since her wife brought it up, now was as good a time as any.
"Callie?" Arizona said, after a few minutes of silence, both lost in the same silent thoughts.
"Yes, sweetie?"
"Have you.. thought about that?" The blonde asked, resting her arms on the side of the tube.
"Thought about what, love?" Callie asked, She had an ideas about what her wife was asking especially after her last remark, but she didn't want to give an answer in case her wife was talking about something else.
"About.." She shrugged. ".. being pregnant?" She asked, not really knowing how to discuss how she was feeling.
"I've thought about that for years." Callie said, as she started running her fingers through blonde hair.
"No, I mean.. about us being pregnant?" She clarified, wiggling her toes in the water, watching the ripples.
"Oh.. uhh.. yeah of course I've thought about it. Have you?" She asked, massaging her wife's scalp.
"Mmm.. That feels good." She hummed, "I.. I have thought about it too, a lot actually. Especially in the past few days."
"You have?" Callie asked, stilling her hand in surprise. She had almost always been the one to broach the subject whenever they talked about it and Arizona asking about it really caught her off guard.
"Yeah.." Arizona said softly. Turning around to face her wife for this conversation.
"Okay.." The brunette nodded, hoping her wife would elaborate more. "You look like you need to talk about it?"
"I do." The blonde said, nervously playing with Callie's feet.
Seeing the hesitance in her sides eyes, Callie spoke up. "Arizona?" She said, getting her wife's attention. "You know you can discuss anything in this world with me right?"
"I know.." She sighed. "I just been thinking a lot these the past few days."
"About what honey?" Callie asked, a little scared of what she would say about this. She knew there was a point in her wife's life not too long ago that she didn't want a baby, but she said she had changed. Her life wasn't what is used to be.
"A baby."
"Arizona.. You're gonna have to give me a bone here, sweetie." She laughed.
"I.." Arizona said, scratching her head. For some reason she was having trouble voicing herself about this. "I want to have a baby with you." She said, finally putting herself out there.
"Okay.." She smiled. "I want to have a baby with you too, honey." She said, taking her wife's foot and massaging it.
"You do?"
"Yes, I do." She laughed. "And in a year or two when the timings right, we'll talk to Addison and get one of us knocked up." She winked.
"Umm..." The blonde said, taking her foot out of her wife's hands. "I was talking about now."
"Now?"
"Yeah? I mean.." She shrugged. "It's all I can think about recently." She said quietly. "Don't you just want a squishy little baby to love?"
"Arizona, of course I do, babe. But.. we just got married." Callie reasoned. "Two days ago." She wanted to have a baby with Arizona, but she also wanted to enjoy their time together as newlyweds first without hormones and emotions taking over.
"I know that." She said, nervously wringing her hands together.
"I want this.. but I..." Callie sighed, running her fingers through her brown hair. "I'm not ready yet." She said, looking up to blue eyes that began to glisten. Seeing the hurt in her wife's face, she didn't know what else to say.
"Okay." Arizona nodded before leaning her head back on the tub. She felt like crying, but she didn't want to hurt her wife's feelings or make her feel bad for saying no right now. But she wanted this, like really wanted this and she didn't know why. She just felt ready.
"Arizona.." She sighed.
"No, I said it's okay." She shrugged, trying to show that it didn't bother her, but she was afraid she was failing miserably. "You're not ready and I'm not going to make you do something you're not ready for and resent me for it later."
"It's not like that, Arizona." Sitting up, to be closer to her wife. "I could never resent you either." Callie said, reaching for her wife's hands as the blonde nodded her head. "So don't say that again."
"You would.."
"Will you just.. let me say how I feel before you just dismiss anything I say?" The brunette asked, hooking her wife's chin to lift her head. "Look at me baby." She whispered.
"I'm not dismissing you, Calliope."
Looking up, Arizona met the brown eyes she loves so much. "I'm not saying no." Callie said, when Arizona gave her her full attention. "I love you so much baby. And I do want to expand our love with a child more than anything in this world." She said, caressing her wife's face. "And maybe I'm being a little selfish, but I still want you all to myself right now. I am not ready to share you yet.. with a baby or anybody."
Sighing. "I understand." Arizona breathed. "It's not selfish. I don't want to share you either. And you're right, we just got married and we need to get settled into our new life before we talk about bringing someone else into it. Maybe I was just getting ahead of myself. We should just enjoy being newlyweds right now." She said, giving her wife a tender smile. "But I just want you to know.. I'm ready whenever you are." She said, leaning in and hugging her wife.
"How about we table this discussion for now. Enjoy our honeymoon and just both think about what the other wants. And then we'll talk about it again after we're home. Okay?"
"Okay." She agreed.
"Thank you." Callie said returning the embrace.
"For what? I didn't do anything." She laughed lightly.
"You did." She said, kissing blonde hair. "We talked about it and you didn't get all defensive when I said I wasn't ready."
"That's what marriage is about though, right? Communication and compromise." Arizona asked into her neck.
"So I've been told." She laughed.
"Look at us, our first disagreement as a married couple and we handled it so well." Arizona said, leaning back slightly to look at her wife. "Wait, that's considered a disagreement. Right?"
"Well, you're ready and I'm not. So, I think so." Callie shrugged, kissing pink lips. "Wait.." She said, studying her wife. "This is what you wanted to talk about earlier isn't it?"
Biting her bottom lip, she smiled at her wife. "Guilty." She laughed. "But I didn't know how to bring it up. I wanted to.. I really did want to talk about it earlier, but.." She shrugged. "..then I figured maybe that was a conversation to have in private and not in the middle of a restaurant. Ya know."
"So the Karev thing?" The brunette questioned. "Does that tie into this?"
"Yeah, It was leading up to this conversation, because I think we need to start saving money. Having a baby is going to cost a lot, Callie. We need to cut cost where we can and I know.. we're not hurting for money, but it could get really expensive really fast because odds are that it won't work the first time." She said, lacing their fingers together. "Unfortunately we're not like a straight couple. We can't just go out and buy fifty dollar bottle of tequila and wake up in the morning pregnant. As much as I want to be able to. It's going to cost us thousands and thousands of dollars."
"It will cost a lot. I'm sure." Callie agreed. "But babe, we have money." She said, seeing the pensive look in her lovers eyes. They had never really talked about their finances they brought into the marriage. Callie with her trust fund and Arizona with Tim's inheritance. "You know we've not discussed financially what we've both brought into this marriage. And I know you are like me, you don't like to talk about how much money you have. But Arizona, we will never hurt for money."
"But that's your money." The blonde shook her head.
"No, it's not. We're married now, and what I had coming into this marriage is now yours too."
"So does that mean your Jag is mine too?" Arizona asked as her eyes brightened.
"Yes, baby, and so is my money." Callie laughed at her wife. "I have..."
"No, you don't have to tell me." Arizona said, stopping Callie from finishing her sentence.
"It's yours. You have a right to know what we have.." She shrugged. Her money never matter to the blonde so she had no problems talking to her about it.
"Okay then. I want to tell you what I have too."
"If you're are comfortable with that then I'm all ears." She smiled, letting her wife's hands go and leaning back against the tub to relax.
"You can continue with my foot rub." Arizona countered, wiggling right foot up in front of her wife, causing the brunette to laugh. "So as you know when Tim died I got everything he had. When I met you I had about a half a million not including what was tied up in the clinic." She said, as Callie massaged the sole of her foot. "And then, you bought into the practice, which put it at about six hundred and fifty, but then we turned around and spent about a hundred thousand renovating the top floor for you and then I furnished our house. So roughly there is about four hundred and fifty five or take." She said, leaning her head back in the tub, moaning as Callie massaged her feet. She didn't talk much about her inheritance and the times she had it was always with Callie, but she had never said how much she had. And finally telling her wife somehow lifted a weight off her shoulders she didn't know she was carrying.
"So when are you gonna realize I only married you for your money?" Callie winked, nudging Arizona's boob with her foot.
"I swear, what is it with you and my boobs today?" The blonde laughed, grabbing her wife's foot and mirroring the massage her wife was giving her.
"But they're good boobs." She shrugged. "And I still want to play." She said, wiggling her eyebrows.
Callie always had a way to lighten the mood of any conversation they had and she was thankful for that. "I'm beginning to think I married a dirty old Perv." Arizona laughed, kissing her wife's foot. "But I still love you."
"Good thing, because I'm stuck to you like glue." She smiled.
"Well then, if I'm stuck with you, I want to know how much money you're bringing to the table." She winked.
"Well, I have seven hundred in my bank account right now."
"Thousand? In your bank account?" She asked in surprise.
"Yeah, after I graduated college my dad put five hundred grand in my bank account when they moved to Florida. He said he didn't want me to be here alone and run out of money. It's really just my dads way of saying he cares. He says he doesn't want his babies to want for anything." She shrugged. "You know me, I'm not one to just throw my money around, so I saved it, being an intern and resident didn't leave me much time to do anything else besides work. So I saved what I could."
"So is that your trust fund?" She asked, knowing Callie has talked about the money in her trust fund before.
"No, my trust fund has a little more than that."
"How much is a little?"
"Well it's about fifteen." She said, seeing Arizona's eyebrows scrunch. "Million."
"Fifteen million dollars?" Arizona swallowed.
"Yeah. My trust fund was turned over to me when I graduated med school. I hadn't touch it until I bought our house, and then your Corvette for Christmas .. oh wait.. our Corvette." She winked, seeing the surprise in her wife's eyes. "I told you babe, we'd never hurt for anything. We can live so comfortable with off the interest alone. And that's not including our salaries at work."
"Callie.." Arizona shook her head. "No, that is your money. You can't share that with me. That is your trust fund."
"You are right. It is mine, and if I say it's ours.. it's ours. And if God forbid something were to ever happen to me, it becomes yours. I've already made sure of that.." She said, caressing her wife's legs
"But.."
"Ahh..." She said, holding her finger up to stop her wife. "It's not up for discussion. My dad has already fixed the paper work up and I've already been signed it and it's on record."
"Callie.."
"No, Arizona. If something were to happen to me, I want to know that you and our kids would be okay."
"Okay." Arizona agreed, she knew she'd never win this one.
"So.. earlier you said something about a compromise right?"
"I did." Arizona squinted at her wife.
"So.. can I now?" She asked looking down at her wife's chest and licking her lips.
"Seriously?" Arizona laughed. "I swear, it's a good thing you're a woman, because if you weren't I'd definitely be pregnant after last night and this afternoon and there wouldn't be a thing you could do about it." Seeing Callie was still anxiously awaiting for an answer. "Okay." She said, getting a big smile from the brunette "BUT.. You have to wash my hair." She said, turning her back towards her wife and getting comfortable between her legs again.
"Deal." She laughed, as Arizona laid her back against her front. "Mmm..." She smiled, running her finger tips up her wife's sides eliciting chills over her body.
"You have to wash my hair first." Arizona swatted at her lovers hands.
"Uh-uh.." Callie purred in the blondes ear as she caressed her hands over her lovers stomach. "You've been denying me this whole time, no way I'm stopping now." She said, kissing her on the ear. She loved touching Arizona's body, she could never get enough of her wife.
Leaning her head back on the brunettes shoulder, Arizona hummed in delight, letting Callie know that she was indeed relaxing and enjoying her soft touches.
Cupping her wife's mounds, Callie gave them a squeeze, running her index finger over her nipples, hardening them instantly. "I'm gonna make you come like this." She giggled.
"Not a chance." Arizona laughed, there was no way Callie could make her orgasm just by playing with her breasts alone. "You're good, but you're not that good baby." She teased.

"I want the same thing, but.." She said, holding her finger up to make her point. "If you're feeling it." She winked at her wife, "I want you to let it go."
"I plan on it either way it goes." Callie smiled. "Prepare to have your mind blown baby." She whispered in her ear, kissing the skins she found there.
"Score!" Arizona said, pumping her fist in the air.
"Oh you will be either way." The brunette laughed.
"Mmmm.." She moaned, feeling Callie's lips latch onto her neck and her hands continuing to massage her mounds. "So good, baby." She whispered as Callie lovingly caressed her nipples. Wiggling in between her wife's legs, she was trying to find some kinda friction to stem the throb between her leg but unable to find any. "God, Callie.."she breathed, rolling her head side to side on her wife's shoulder, this was an all new feeling for her, a feeling she would never forget each time her lover touched her breasts.
"I can tell you're about to come baby." Callie husked, hearing the whimpers from her wife as she breathed in her ear. Sucking the breast into her mouth, she circled her tongue around her wife's nipple as she toyed with her other breast. Feeling her wife's fingers run through her long hair, she released the mound with a load pop, looking up at her wife all smiles when she saw the look of bliss in blue eyes.
"Calliope.. I'm.. how.. am I so...close?" She asked, as her wife repeated her actions on her other breast.
Hearing that her wife was close, Callie sat back up, and wrapped her arms back around her wife as Arizona laid back against her again. Laying her head back against her wife's shoulder, Arizona could feel her climax on the edge of release. "Calliope." She breathed, feeling a tingling sensation in the pit of her stomach.
"Let it go, baby." She whisper in the blondes ear, as she squeezed her lovers mounds.
"What the.. hell.. are you doing.. to me." She breathed, burying her face in her wife's neck. "Oh god, Cal.." She whined. "I.. I need.."
"What do you need baby?" She asked when he wife didn't finish her sentence, only moaned the rest.
"I.. I don't know.." She whimpered. "I'm gonna.. Fuck." She said as she felt the sweat form on her brow line. Bringing her hand up, she cupped her wife's cheek, pressing the side of the brunettes head into hers. "I'm.. coming, Calliope. What the.. hell.." She yelled, arching her back feeling a throb between her legs as her orgasm washed all through her body. "Oh, God.. oh god.." She panted, feeling the tingle ease up slightly on her body. "What did you just do to me?" She asked, collapsing all her weight back on her wife, causing Callie to lean back on the tub.
"I just loved you." She giggled. She wasn't sure if she could make Arizona come like that and now knowing that she had, she was damn near proud of herself. "Now, tell me.. am I that good?"
"Like... I said last night...damn near spectacular. I've.. Wow. I didn't know that was possible." Arizona breathed, barely audible.
"Me neither." Callie smiled. "But I'm always up for a challenge."
"You're enjoying this aren't you?" The blonde asked, finally opening her eyes to look at her wife's beaming smile.
"Mmhmm.." She giggled into Arizona's face. "I love you." She smiled into the kiss.
"I love you too." Arizona said as shivers went down her spine.
"Here." Callie said, taking the shampoo and squirting some in her hands before she started washing her wife's hair. "Lets get washed and get outta here. It's getting cold."
"Callie?"
"Hmm?"
"Why do you think that man was following us?" She asked as Callie massaged her scalp.
"I don't know, sweetie."
"Do you think I may have just freaked out? That I was just thinking too much into it?"
"Scoot down and lay back." Callie said, patting her wife's thigh." I don't think you over reacted if that's what you are asking." She said as Arizona scooted forward enough to lay her head back into the water. "I mean.. he touched you twice, said he'd change your mind and he was everywhere we turned. So no, I don't think so. I think we did the safest thing we knew to do. And if it turns out it all happened just by chance, I'll still be grateful that we went about it the way we did." She said, washing the shampoo out of her wife's hair.
"You protect the things you love, just like I do." She smiled up at her wife, feeling so much love for the brunette that was looking down at her.
"I do." Callie said softly, leaning down to give her wife an upside down kiss. "I'll always protect you and our babies when we have them." She said, resting her hand on Arizona's stomach.
Placing her hand on top of her wife's, she gave her a tender smile back. "And we'll always feel safe with you around."
