Chapter 54
Feeling something tickle her nose, brought Arizona out of a deep sleep. Blowing out a big breath of air from her mouth hoping to move whatever was tickling her away which only last about two seconds until it was back bothering her again. Blowing a breath of air out again the process repeated itself until she huffed and opened her eyes to see that it was her unruly hair in her face instead of dark locks that belonged to her wife. Looking to her left, she saw her wife all the way over on the edge of the big king size bed sound asleep. Silently thanking the sex gods, she brushed her hair out of her face and buried her head back down into the pillow wanting sleep to come once again, she was tired. Literally exhausted. They had left the room maybe a hand full of times since Ray, the "bodyguard" Carlos has sent over arrived. They had went on the Seine River cruise and saw many of Paris' famous sights from the boat including Notre-Dame, the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre Museum, Musée d'Orsay and Palais de Chaillot. Ray had tagged along with them, at first they were both a little leery of him following behind, but eventually it made both feel safe so they didn't mind it as much as they had thought they would. Even asking him to join them at their lunch table when the time came that day, after a lot of persisting he finally gave in and enjoyed a meal with the newlyweds, never loosing track of his job the whole time and thankfully the creeper was never saw the whole day.
Carlos had been on the task of finding out who the supposed 'creeper', as Arizona referred to him as, was. It was harder than he thought it would be at first where the man was overseas it was harder for his people to find information out, but after two days of hard searching he had finally got the identity of the man they now know as Mathis Hayman. He was a French man who was wanted by the Italian police, sought after in the murders of three college students in Florence. He had skipped the country and was back in his home country of France hiding out.
Yesterday, Carlos had called and informed Ray of the mans identity and said that he was wanted in the murders of three young women. He informed him to stay by Callie's and Arizona's side at all times and to be on high alert for Hayman. Carlos was doing all he could do with the Paris police to find his Mathis' whereabouts in Paris, even getting Ray a mic that was tapped straight to the head of police's radio incase they were needed for backup.
Carlos then has called the two women yesterday to inform them the identity of the man that has been following them. Only giving his daughter and daughter in law the name of the stalker and nothing else. He didn't want them to fear doing anything on their honeymoon when he was taking all the precautions to protect them, even the Paris police stepping up surveillance in the area.
Groaning, Arizona settled for the fact that she couldn't go back to sleep. Maybe it was the fact that Callie was all the way on the other side of the bed with an arm and a leg hanging off the edge instead of being warm and snuggled up by her wife. But the blonde sure didn't want to wake her up, Callie had literally sexed her all out and waking her up meant the high possibly of waking up the sex hungry tiger that laid beside her. Every night they went to bed making love, the brunette had woken the blonde up in the middle of the night for a few rounds for the past three nights and also woke her up in the mornings with sex. It wasn't that Arizona didn't enjoy every single minute of it because she did, boy did she ever, but her vagina couldn't take much more and she didn't want to hurt her wife's feelings by denying her. Callie was absolutely insatiable since they had gotten married and Arizona would damn near guarantee that they had defiantly more than made up for their long month of abstinence before the wedding.
Peeking her eyes opened, she saw that Callie still hadn't budged from her earlier position. Lying naked on her stomach with her hair all sprawled out over the pillow and her limbs hanging off the side of the bed. Carefully scooting closer to her wife as not to wake her, Arizona pulled down the sheet that covered her lovers body a little lower, peppering soft kisses down her spin and ending at the small of her back. She never could get enough of the Latinas skin, even if her vagina felt broke. Residing the fact that if she didn't stop she would wake up her tiger, she slowly crawled out of the bed in search for her phone.
Searching through the pile of clothes on the floor, Arizona pulled her phone out of her pants pocket and tiptoed down the stairs to the kitchen area so she didn't wake her wife up with her call. Dialing a number that has gotten to be a speed dial as of late, she pressed the call button.
"This is Ray." She heard the man on the end of the line say.
"Ray, hey. It's Arizona."
"I know, Mrs. Robbins."
"I told you, it's Arizona." She said through the phone. "My wife is Mrs. Robbins." She laughed. She had come to really like Ray during the past few days that they were out with him.
"Sorry." He laughed. "What can I help you with, Mrs. Arizona? You needing to head out?"
"Well, actually Ray. I was hoping you could do it for me, I don't want to leave Callie here alone and have her wake up with me gone. With everything that had been going on, she'd probably freak out and I don't want to do that to her."
"That's fine. What would you like? Breakfast?"
"No, no I think we're just going to settle for room service this morning, but thank you. Do you remember what I told you yesterday about the shop we passed?"
"Yes ma'am."
"Could you run down there and make that purchase for me real quick?" She asked him.
"Yes, ma'am. The one in the window correct?"
"Yes that's the one, just stop by the room and I'll give you my credit card. Don't knock loud, Callie is still sleeping and I don't want to wake her yet."
"Okay, I'm on my way now, Mrs. Arizona."
"Thank you so much Ray." She said, ending the call and looking for her purse. Finding it on the table next to the door of the suite, she pulled out her card just as Ray knocks on the door.
"Hi, Ray." She whispered, opening the door for their bodyguard.
"Hey." He smiled at her. "The silver, correct?"
"Yes... well, white gold I think." She said, handing him her card. "Thanks again Ray."
"You're welcome." He said slipping the card in his wallet.
"Ray, I hate to be bossy.. But can you make it quick? I really want to have it before she wakes up."
"Sure thing Mrs. Rob.. Arizona." He corrected himself. "I shouldn't be no longer than fifteen minutes tops, it's just right down the street." He said, turning and walking down the hall towards the elevator.
Shutting the door to their suit, Arizona walked over to the room phone beside the TV stand and pressed zero to call the kitchen downstairs to order them some Banana and Strawberry filled crepes with the strawberry and chocolate glaze drizzled over the top that she loves.
Today was their last day in Paris and she wanted her wife to feel as special as the brunette had made her feel this whole trip. So this was the blondes day, she got to choose everything they were doing until the evening, because her wife had informed her that the evening was all hers for the taking. Arizona had wanted to tour the Eiffel Tower, but Callie insisted that wasn't happening. After a lot of complaining from Arizona the brunette told her it was because she was scared of heights and the tower was way too high for her liking, not thinking Arizona would countered and tell her that she didn't have any problems with dinner at the space needle to Callie's surprise. At that response, Callie put her foot down and told her wife she was more than welcome to tour the Eiffel Tower, but she wouldn't be stepping a foot on it. After than, Arizona reluctantly agreed to do something else.
After ordering their food, Arizona sat down on the sofa and turned on the TV. Passing the time until Ray and the breakfast came. Flipping through the channels she left it on one of the local news stations in the area. Ruffling through her purse that she sat on the coffee table in front of the sofa after she found her credit card for Ray, Arizona pulled out a pen. Grabbing the small writing tablet on the table she wrote her wife a small love note.
Hearing a low knock at the door, she folded up the paper and laid it in her purse. Answering the door she saw Ray standing with his purchase in hand, both unaware he was being followed the whole time. "Awe Ray. You are amazing." She said, taking the bag, her credit card and receipt from the man. Opening the bag, she pulled out the box and smiled. "It's perfect." She said, pulling the chain out of the small blue jewelry bag that was inside the small box.
"She will love it, I saw her eyeing it more than once yesterday." He said as Arizona placed it back in the bag. "Is that all, Mrs. Arizona?" He asked the blonde.
"Yes, thanks." She smiled up to him. "We will call when we're ready to leave, it'll probably be over an hour seeing my lovely wife still hasn't budged." She laughed looking up at the carameled leg still hanging off the side of the bed up in the loft.
"I'll be ready." He said with a nod before turning around to walk back down the hall way. Passing room service as he was about to get in the elevator to go down a floor to his room, as the elevator doors opened. He saw a man laying lifeless on the elevator floor in front of him, bending down to check the man, feeling a pulse. "Fuck." He yelled, as it clicked in his head, he knew the man he just passed pushing the food cart looked familiar. "Back up, I need back up in the hotel suite perps in site, heading towards the women's room." Ray yelled in his ear piece. Running back down the hall to the girls' hotel suite, he saw Mathis knock on the door he just left. "STOP RIGHT NOW MATHIS!" He yelled at the man before he saw the door open.
Shutting the door just after Ray left, Arizona placed her credit card back inside her wallet, hearing another knock, thinking it was their room service, she opened the door. "CLOSE IT, ARIZONA, CLOSE IT!" She heard Ray scream at her just as the bell hop forcefully pushed the door open further as she was pushing back on the wood.
Recognizing the man immediately. "Oh god... no." She yelled, seeing the man from a few days ago barge into room. "Calliopeee..." She screamed for her wife. Feeling the food cart forcefully push into her stomach making her crash to the floor through the coffee table.
Hearing the gut wrenching scream of her wife, Callie fell to the floor in a heap wrapped up in the sheet. Thinking it was just a dream at first, she started to climb back up on the bed until she noticed it was void of her blonde wife. Her head snapped around when she heard a loud bang. Looking down to the living room of their suite in a sleepy daze, she saw Arizona in a ball on the floor with shards of wood all around her just as Ray barreled through the door tackling a man to the floor. "Oh Jesus... Arizonaaa..." She yelled. "Talk to me baby." She screamed, scrambling for a rob to throw on. "Damn it." She growled, looking for her cover up, cursing herself for going to sleep naked. "Arizona.. answer me!" Finally finding a T-shirt and a pair of her wife's yoga pants she threw them over her body and rushed down the stairs. Jumping over Ray and the perpetrator, Callie rushed to her wife's side.
"Arizona honey.." Callie said in fear, kneeling down carefully by her wife's side checking for a pulse. Releasing a big breath of air she didn't realize she was holding when she felt her blondes strong pulse. "Arizona." She said, lightly smacking her wife's face. "Baby..." She said as Arizona opened her eyes.
"Ouch.." The blonde moaned, looking around the room as she slowly sat up. "Callie.."
"Im right here... careful." Callie said, making sure her wife didn't jab any of the broken wood in her. "Are you okay, sweetie."
"Where's Ray?" She said, looking around the room, seeing he had Mathis pinned down with his arms behind his back.
"He's right here, sweetie. What the hell happened?" Callie asked, brushing the blondes hair out of her face. "Are you hurt anywhere?" She said, looking her wife's body over.
"I'm okay.. Help me up?" She asked, looking at the crushed table underneath her. "Oh god, we are never going to be allowed to stay here again. I destroyed this table."
"Don't worry about that." Callie said, helping her wife up off the floor. Hearing grunting behind her, she turned around. "Oh shit, Ray... god..." She said, kneeling down with him. "Here." She said, pulling the cuffs out of his side holster that was looped into his belt.
"Thanks." Ray said, holding Haymans hands down with one hand and his head pressed to the floor with the other so he couldn't wiggle free. "Can you?" He asked, scooting down the mans legs he had straddled.
"Yeah." She said, opening the cuffs and locking the mans hands in place behind his back. "Is this him?"
"Yeah." Their bodyguard breathed, trying to get himself back under control after the adrenaline took over his body, still keeping the creeper pinned to the ground.
Getting back down on the floor, Callie laid her face right next to a silent Mathis' on the floor looking the man straight in the eyes. "We were on to you from day one, you piece of shit. I hope you just learned to never fuck with a Torres. You will pay for touching and stalking my wife, you sick fucking bastard." She growled through her teeth.
"Callie.." Arizona said, standing over the three on the floor, wanting her wife to be near her and away from that man. Just them the cops entered their suite.
Looking up at her wife, Callie saw a streak of blood running down her wife's leg. Getting up off the floor as the cops were about to get Hayman up on his feet, she walked over to her wife. "Come with me." She said, taking the blondes hand and walking her to the bathroom. "Hop up." She patted the marble table in the bathroom.
Doing as he wife asked, Arizona hopped up on the counter top as her wife retrieved the first aide kit she had seen in the medicine cabinet. "So much for my romantic morning huh?" The blonde sighed, as Callie took out the alcohol pad out from the kit.
Nodding, "What happened?" She sighed, placing her hands on the sink beside each of Arizona's legs. Her heart was racing from the scare and she couldn't seem to get it under control as she arms began to tremble.
Seeing Callie's arms shake on both sides of her, Arizona tried to calm her. "Hey. It's okay sweetie. I'm okay. We're okay." She reassured her, caressing her hands up and down her lovers arms.
"I know.. But it's just.." She shook her head, letting out a huge breath of air. "Being woke up like that.. it just does something to you. My heart feels like it's going to beat outta my chest right now. And I feel like I could puke."
"I'm sorry.. I feel like it's my fault." The blonde said, shaking her head and placing her hand over Callie's racing heart feeling it's fast beat. "If I would have bought it yesterday or even just forgot about it, this wouldn't have happened."
"Don't say that. You didn't know this was going to happen." She said. "I don't know how he knew who Ray was and that he was associated with us, but I have a feeling that it was inevitable."
"Maybe you're right. I guess better now than later today. He could easily do something outdoors. And one of our heads might be turned and boom. You're gone."
"Exactly." Callie sighed, her breathing getting under control. "What happened?" She asked again.
"I just wanted to surprise you this morning. I had Ray run down to a shop for me so I didn't have to leave you alone. I didn't want you to wake up and worry that I was gone. And while he was out I ordered us some room service. After he brought my stuff, the room service came right after... and then the next thing I know Ray yelled for me to shut the door but it was to late. That creep pushed the cart into my stomach causing me to fall back through the table."
"I'm sorry honey." She said, lifting Arizona's shirt to look at her stomach to see if she had any marring on her belly from the cart.
"Why?" She asked, brushing the dark hair out of the Latinas face that had fell from her messy pony tail as her wife rubbed her stomach.
"I promised I'd protect you," she looked up sadly into her wife's eyes. "And I didn't." She said quietly.
"Callie" Arizona said, sadly. "Honey, you can't always protect me no matter how much you want too, we both know that."
"Yeah, but I was right there in the room." She said, tearing open the alcohol pad and gently cleaning her wife's small cut on her leg.
"Oh, Calliope..." Taking the now dirty pad out of her wife's hand and throwing it in the trash. "Don't." She said, taking her wife's hands in hers. "You have done nothing but protect me since we had our first run in with this guy. He barged through our room. What could you have done, besides get you're self hurt? You couldn't have stopped that from happening. Do you understand me?" She asked, bending down to meet her wife's gaze.
"Yeah." She said, finally raising her head. She knew her wife was right but that still didn't stop her from feeling bad.
"Good." She said, wrapping her wife's arms around her back. "I think I could go for one of your famous back rubs right now." She said, kissing her wife's lips.
"Oh, really?" Callie laughed, standing in between her wife's legs.
"Yep." The blonde replied kissing the brunettes forehead. "Then after that, we have to get ready because I have plans for us today."
"What? How can you think about going out now after everything?" Callie pulled back from her wife.
"Because, Hayman is now in custody, and this is my honeymoon and I'll be damned if I let someone like him ruin my time here with my wife."
"How ca.."
"Callie.." Arizona said, placing her index finger over her red lips. "You're doing too much talking when what you should really be doing is listening to your wife."
"Oh I am?" She laughed.
"Yes. Man I wish I would have made the officiant sneak in that you promise to obey me in you're vows. Like you did with the back scratching." She giggled.
"Well, I might not have followed through if you did.. because you are still yet to scratch my back and we've been married for six days now." She asked, raising her eyebrow.
"Umm hello, I think I have a good reason for that." Arizona countered. "And it's not really my fault."
"And whatever reason would that be?" Callie asked, crossing her arms.
Hearing talking still going on down stairs, Arizona leaned in closer to her wife brushing her lips on her ear, sending a shiver down the Latinas body. "You have fucked me until I have passed out from exhaustion for the past six days."
Breaking out into a fit of giggles, Callie nodded her head. "That's a pretty good reason, huh." She asked, biting her bottom lip.
"Umhmm.." She laughed. "Can I tell you something and you not get mad or upset?" She asked, bitting the inside of her lip contemplation telling her wife this.
"Is it bad?"
"No." She laughed.
"Yeah, you can tell me anything." She said, leaning her head on her wife's shoulder after wrapping her arms around the small of her back.
"You broke me, Calliope." She whispered into her hair.
"What? Wait.." She said, trying to figure out what her wife was saying. "What?"
"You are.." She said shaking her head. "I don't know what happened in that last month before we got married but... You are an sex hungry tiger. I swear." She laughed.
"What?" Callie pulled back and asked confused. "What's that got to do with me breaking you?" She asked. "Did.." She paused. "I hurt you?"
"What? No.. no.. not like that. No baby, you didn't hurt me, hurt me.. you've just.. broke me." She laughed. "My vagina and boobs are so sore."
"I'm sorry.. That's the last think I wanted to do. Why didn't you tell me?"
"Because even though I was sore.. it felt so good and I didn't want it to stop." She shrugged.
"So.. wait.. You're saying I gave you a sex injury?"
"Yeah, I guess so." Arizona laughed, seeing her wife's, serious demur turn into a smile. "Get that smug grin off your face, Calliope." She swatted at her wife.
"I could.. I don't know... kiss it and make it feel better." She smirked, looking up at her wife with hooded eyes.
"Get outta here." Arizona yelped, shoving her wife's shoulder. "You're ridiculous."
"I can't help it." She laughed, caressing her wife's thighs. "You really okay?"
"Yeah, my back feels a little sore, but I'm okay." She said, taking a band aide out of the first aide kit. "Doctor me up, Dr. Robbins." She smiled, handing Callie the band aide for the cut on her leg.
Shaking her head at her wife, Callie bent down and placed the band aide on her wife's shin and a soft kiss for good measure. "There... all better." She winked. "Lets go down stairs and face the squad, see if they need anything from us." Said said walking to the door. "Wait.. what was the think Ray had to go buy?"
"That's for me to know and you to find out later." She winked, passing her wife through the door.
After walking downstairs to the scene of the crime, the girls were informed that Mathis Hayman was a wanted man for the murders of the three college students in Italy. Both feeling relief that he was caught, but also worry pledged the back of their minds that both could have easily been his next victim. Ray and a few cops review the hotels surveillance video around the time the incident happened while some other officers interviewed and took witness statements from both of them.
Walking back into the hotel suite, Ray informed them that Mathis had followed him in the building undetected. He had a hooded jacket covering his face as he joined him in the elevator as he rode up the car with him when he went to return with Arizona's purchase. After Ray had exited the carriage, Mathis held the elevator open until he saw the room he went to. Riding back down to what they can only assume was to bide himself time, the creep rode back up the elevator making small conversation with the room service attendant who entered the car on the bottom floor. Hayman had knocked the guy out with one punch to the head as the elevator dinged signaling using he was on the floor of the girls suite.
After all the cops had left, Callie had called her father to tell him what had took place that morning in their room. She also informed him that even though the guy was now arrested and off the streets, she and Arizona would feel more comfortable if Ray were to stick around until they went home the next day because Arizona had an afternoon planed for them and didn't want to cancel just because of the incident that morning. After getting off the phone with her father, Callie asked Ray if he would mind staying sticking around until they returned home tomorrow.
Giving the ladies a quick response of yes, he returned back to his hotel room to make a call to Carlos before the girls were ready to go out for the day.
"You sure you still want to go out right now?" Callie asked her when they were finally alone in the suite again.
"I do.. but only if you're up for it. If you want to stay in.. then that's what we'll do." Arizona replied, hoping her wife agreed to site seeing for the day.
"I do.. if you do." She said, patting her wife's leg and standing from the sofa.
"Yes..." Arizona clapped. "I was totally going to be sad if I didn't get to visit The Louvre Museum to see the Mona Lisa."
"Well, I can't let you go home sad, now can I?"
"Not if you are a good wife."
"I'm not a good wife, I'm a terrific wife."
"I'll be the judge of that." Arizona whispered, pinching her wife's butt.
Laughing, Callie shook her head. "Let's shower, then I'll give you a quick back rub before we go out, how does that sound?" She asked walking up the loft stairs.
"Yes.. yes you are a terrific wife." She said, running past her wife up the stairs. "But.. this doesn't mean we're partaking in any funny business in the shower." She pointed at her wife.
"Alright, but that means I'm getting my back scratched until I fall asleep tonight." She laughed at her perky wife.
"Oh.. did I mention that my hands are sore too?" She asked vanishing into the bathroom.
"Nice try Robbins. Now get that ass in the shower." Callie yelled from the bedroom.
