Come to think of it, I own Captain Jeremy, as well as Freya and Bjorn. Basically, if you recognize it, I don't own it.
They had moved from the throne room to a smaller room. The newcomers seemed uncomfortable with the ice and Elsa thought that revealing her ice powers would only confuse them more. Anna had helped the shorter one slide across the ice though she, too, had fallen once or twice. They were all seated around a round table now, except the short one, who insisted on standing.
"So you're from another world?" Elsa asked in disbelief.
"So you have a child named Beorn?" the short red haired one asked at the same time.
"It's Bjorn," Anna corrected.
"We must have. I have never heard of Arendelle before, and I know all the places in Middle Earth," the tall blonde haired one answered.
"We walked under two lone arched trees in the middle of the Plains of Rohan and ended up here under an arched doorway that looked like two trees," the short one offered.
"They were found in the west wing," Anna told Elsa, "but we've never had a doorway that looked like two trees."
"I tell you, it was shaped like two trees," the short one said stubbornly.
"He can be very stubborn," the tall one warned.
"We can go look at the doorway later," Elsa said. "Though, if I may ask, what are your names?"
The tall one looked chagrined. "I am sorry. We should have introduced ourselves right away. Everything was so different though," he said. "I am Legolas Thranduilion, son of King Thranduil of the Woodland Realm. This is my friend Gimli, son of Gloin."
"Why do you get the fancy title, elf?" Gimli grumbled.
Anna looked shocked, though the two didn't notice. Elsa also looked mildly surprised though she tried to hide it. So the tall one is a prince and an elf, Anna thought. He was not dressed as she expected a prince or elf to like. He was dressed as a simple archer and traveller.
"Fine," the tall one said. "This is my friend Gimli, son of Gloin, who was a member of the company of Thorin Oakenshield, King Under the Mountain." He paused for a moment, then asked, "Is that good enough for you?"
"Aye, that'll do," Gimli replied. "Though you might have mentioned that you're an elf and I'm a dwarf as these Men do not seem to have seen our kind before."
"We are not men," Elsa said, having recovered her ability to speak.
"I was referring to the race of Men, as we call them in Middle Earth," the dwarf explained. "What do you call yourselves?"
"Humans or people," Anna answered.
Legolas ignored Gimli's little conversation on what they were called and asked, "Do you have any idea of how we can get back home?"
"You could try walking back through the doorway you came through," Elsa suggested.
"Well, then why don't we go there?" Anna said. "I'll call the servant who found them to show us the way." The servant appeared shortly and led them to the place where she had found them.
"Here it is, Your Majesty," she said, pointing to the doorway.
"It's changed!" four voices exclaimed at the same time. The servant looked askance at them, as if they had all gone mad. Doorways did not just change and that was what she felt they were talking about. She hurried away before they noticed her again and asked her something else.
What Elsa and Anna were expecting to see was an archway covered in carved flowers. What Legolas and Gimli were expecting to see was two trees, one on either side with branches that met in the centre above the door. What they actually saw was tree stumps on the lower half and a hail of arrows on the upper half.
Legolas and Gimli walked through the doorway. They found themselves in a room that was quite clearly still part of the Arendelle palace. However, they also found some supplies from Middle Earth there. There were several packets of lembas sealed with a silver leaf. Gimli's gift from the Lady Galadriel was also there. As they looked around the room they found spare clothes for each of them. Having looked around the room they came to the conclusion that they were to stay here for a while.
"Well Gimli, it looks like we are stuck here for now," Legolas said to his friend.
"Aye," Gimli replied. "That it does. What are the lembas for though?"
"I am not sure so we might as well go and talk to the queen of this realm again," Legolas stated. He walked out of the room. Gimli followed shortly after.
Elsa and Anna had watched the elf and dwarf enter the room. They did not disappear though. All they did was look around the room. They left the room and came over to Elsa and Anna.
"I am sorry. It appears that we are unable to leave. It also appears that someone wants us here and for a good while as well. We found several spare changes of our own clothes in the room," Legolas explained.
"Anna, did you say that you gave them a room?" Elsa asked her sister.
"Yes, I did," Anna replied. Just then a servant rushed up.
"Princess Anna, Freya and Bjorn are asking for you to tell them a bedtime story," the servant said, gasping for air. Anna looked over to her sister. Elsa looked out the window at the darkening sky.
"Go on. I hadn't realized how late it was getting," she told Anna. Turning to the servant, she said, "Tell the maids that the room given to our guests will not be needed. We are moving them to this room instead." The servant hurried off in one direction. Anna went in another direction towards the nursery.
"Are Freya and Bjorn your children, Queen Elsa?" Gimli asked.
"No, we found them near the fjord in a basket and since nobody knew who they belonged to we took them in," Elsa explained. "Now, you may have this room to stay in for the duration of your stay. As it is getting late I will take my leave of you. I have other matters to take care of yet. I will see you tomorrow." She walked away, back the way they had come. Legolas and Gimli stared after her for a bit in amazement before turning and entering the room once more.
"She certainly is an interesting monarch," was all Legolas said before he fell asleep
