"Are you sure?"
"Yeah. I'm too nervous to look, you do it, please."
"Okay." Callie said, walking over to the counter. "How in the hell do you read these things anyway?" She said picking up the instructions and looking at the picture it showed.
"Plus is positive, minus sign is negative." Arizona said, standing behind her wife anxiously waiting for the results.
"Yeah, but what the hell is this other line for?" Callie said, looking at the paper as Arizona gripped her waist from behind.
"Calliope." She scolded. "Would you just look at the damn stick already."
"Okay." Callie laughed, teasing her wife. Picking up the stick, she turned towards the blonde and leaned on the counter before looking down at it.
"Well?" Arizona stood there with shaky hands while she waited on a response from her wife. "Callie?" She said as she watched the brunette just stair at the stick. "It's negative.. isn't it?" She sadly whispered with a sigh as her wife sat the test back down. Finally teary brown eyes looked up at her now wet blue ones.
Her face breaking into the brightest grin the blonde had ever seen. "We're having a baby." Callie boldly stated, throwing her hands up in the air.
"We?" She said as tears streamed down her face. "We are? I'm pregnant?" She asked as Callie picked her up in a strong hug and swirled her around the bathroom.
"You're pregnant." Callie mumbled into her wife's hair after their squeals died down.
"We're having a baby." The blonde whispered excitedly, wrapping her arms around Callie's neck and squeezing her tight. She had tried to not get too excited during the whole process because she didn't want to get her hopes up but now that she knows it took, she was beyond words right now. After just soaking up the news that they were going to be parents, Arizona finally pulled back from her wife. "You're an ass you know that." She slapped the brunette on the arm.
"Why?" She laughed.
"Because you started crying when you first looked and I thought it was negative." She said, taking a tissue from the box off the counter and wiping her eyes dry.
"I'm sorry. I was just so excited, I couldn't even talk." Callie smiled. "I love you more than words can describe, Arizona Robbins." She said, pulling her wife back in for a hug. "You have made me so happy."
"Me too, baby." She said retuning the hug. "Me too."
Releasing her wife's hold, she knelt down to the blondes stomach. Raising up Arizona's shirt, Callie placed a soft kiss on her belly. "And I love you too, my little blob. So so much." She whispered to her stomach, eliciting a laugh from her wife. "Be good for mama though okay? Mommy doesn't like seeing her sick." She said, feeling a little déjà vu when she talked to her stomach. Tears instantly pricked her eyes again when she remembered why this felt so familiar.
"What's wrong babe?" she asked, cupping her wife's face that was still near her stomach.
"Nothing." Callie shook her head. "It's just.. My dream I had when I was waking up from that coma." She swallowed the lump in her throat. "It's coming true." She whispered with tears falling down her face.
"So is mine." Arizona smiled, kneeling down so she was eye level with her wife. "Dreams I didn't even know had." She said, wiping the brunettes tears away. "All because of you." She leaned in and kissed her wet red lips. "I love you." She said, between light pecks.
"I. Love. You. Both." Callie said, returning the kisses, before softly passing her tongue over her wife's pink bottom lip seeking access into her mouth.
Quickly pulling back, Arizona felt her stomach flip flop again just like she did early before puking her guts out. "Oh no." Covering her mouth with her hand as she ran to the toilet to empty her stomach.
"Oh, babe." Callie said, walking over to her wife and rubbing her back. "You're okay." She tried to sooth her.
"Oooh.." The blonde groaned, moving to lean her back against the wall. "I hate you." She mumbled trying to control her breathing.
"No you don't." She laughed, sitting down beside Arizona to gently caressed her wife's thigh to let her know she wasn't alone. "You adore me."
"Okay.. you're right." She said leaning her head over on her wife's shoulder. "But I did for about thirty seconds while I had my head in the bowl."
"Are you feeling better?" Callie asked, her hands never leaving her wife space.
"Yeah." she whispered.
"Come on, let's go lay down." Callie said, standing from the floor to help her wife up. "I'll run down to the kitchen and get you a glass of ice for your Gatorade."
"You bought grape right?" She asked, standing from the floor.
"I did." The brunette said as she walked with her wife to their bed.
"Kay... Can you get me some saltines too?" She asked, pulling the covers back and laying down in the bed. "I think it will help settle my stomach."
"You got it." Callie said, leaning down. "I'll be right back." She said kissing her forehead and also softly kissing her wife's belly.
"Calliope?" She said as the brunette walked out of their room.
"Yeah baby?"
"Thank you, for taking care of us." She softly smiled at her wife as she placed her hand on her stomach.
"You're welcome honey." She smiled and blew her wife a kiss before heading downstairs to get some things for her blonde.
Most of their day on Friday was spent in bed letting the news sink in that they would be parents to a beautiful baby in roughly eight months. By late evening, Callie decided to take her wife out on a celebratory date night. Insisting they needed to go out and have all the fun they could in the next eight months. Arizona was easily excited to be spending a romantic evening with her wife, she requested one of their favorite restaurants to enjoy dinner.
"Mrs. And Mrs. Robbins. Good to see you again." Steve said as he spotted the couple walking into his Italian restaurant.
"Hi Steve." Callie greeted, as her wife smiled at the owner of La Spiga. "We need your best table."
"Lucky for you it's available." He winked at the couple as he picked up two menus for them. "Come right this way." He said, walking up to the booth in the back of the restaurant with the best view of the bay. "Your usual wine?" He asked as the couple took their seat across from each other.
"No, I think we'll stick with lemon water tonight." Callie said, getting settled in her booth.
"Any appetizer?"
"Stuffed mushrooms." Arizona replied as soon as the words left Steve's lips.
"I'll be back with your drinks and appetizer." He nodded before walking away.
Placing her hands on top of the table, Arizona opener them up for her wife to place hers in them. "Thank you for date night, babe."
"You're welcome." Callie said laying her hands in the blondes. "I thought maybe we could hit the movies after this if you're up for it?"
"Really? Wow this is a celebration." She laughed.
"Hey! I do things for you all the time." The brunette insisted.
"I know, I'm just teasing baby." Arizona said, bringing their joined hands up and kissing caramel knuckles. "I'd love to go to the movies with you."
Smiling up at her wife, Callie still couldn't believe she was pregnant. She felt that the blonde was carrying soon after the insemination but now having it confirmed, she couldn't keep the smile off her face. "So I know you're only four weeks, but what do you want to do about telling everyone?"
"I say.. let's call Ads in the morning and see if we could come in and make sure everything's okay?"
"Kay." Callie agreed.
"And I think we should wait until I'm further along before we tell everyone. Maybe when I hit my second trimester?"
"I agree, after you hit the second trimester, chances of something happening lowers drastically."
"Yeah." The blonde said, lacing their fingers together as their waiter brought their drinks and appetizer to them before leaving to place their dinner order with the kitchen. "I'm excited, Calliope. I'm trying not to get extremely excited until we're further along.. But I'm failing miserably."
"Me too." Callie smiled, squeezing her wife's hands. "I wanted this so bad but I was afraid it wouldn't take the first time, so I tried to not get too excited. But when you were gone to the conference, I just felt it ya know. I felt like I was missing two people and not just one." She said, looking up into clear blue eyes, seeing the blondes stary look. "What?" She asked when she saw the blonde smiling in the daze.
"Nothing." Arizona said, giving her head a shake to clear her mind.
"Spill.. I know you too good to know it's not nothing."
"It's just.. you." Arizona smiled. "You said you wouldn't be a good mom and look at you. My god Calliope. Do you know how lucky this baby will be? To have you as its mommy?"
"He."
"What?"
"You said it. 'It' is a boy."
Laughing, "We'll do you know how lucky he will be?" She placated her wife. If Callie thought it was a boy then she would go along with her until they were far enough along to find out for sure. "I can see you know, being a baby hog." Arizona laughed. "I know you'll treat this baby with the same care and affection you treat me with. He will be so so loved because of you because when you love someone you love them hard."
"He will be blessed because of both of us." Callie corrected her wife.
"What are you doing?" She asked, when Callie took her hands out of hers and pulled out her phone.
"I'm calling Addie now." She said, waiting for the red head to answer. "I'm making sure she's free in the morning because if she isn't, I'll make her do it tonight." She said, as her wife shook her head at her while she took a bite of her appetizer.
"Hey Addie." Callie said, as the red head answered her call.
"Hey Cal. What's up."
"Nothing much, just out on a date with my wife."
"Well.. I'm sure she's not too happy you're calling to talk to me when you should be wooing her."
"Shush." Callie laughed. "Listen, do you have any plans in the morning?" She asked, reaching across the table for her wife's hand.
"Well, It depends. Who wants to know?"
"Me, smart ass."
"No." Addison laughed. "I've do not have anything on my agenda as of yet, why you ask?"
"Well, Can you meet Arizona and I at your office in the morning?"
"Sure. Everything okay? She experiencing any discomfort or anything?"
"Well, she's not to fond of tuna salad." Callie told the red head as her wife groaned when she heard the word tuna.
"Really Callie?" Arizona scolded, putting her food down and sitting back in her seat. When Callie had made them lunch earlier in the day just the smell of the fish turned the blondes stomach.
"Sorry, babe."
"Callie?" Addison gasped. "Is she?"
"Yep, we found out about six thirty this morning." The brunette laughed. "She woke up sick, so I went and bout about ten tests." She smiled, remembering Arizona's face when she had brought back her purchase. "She took one then and I made her take another at lunch time, Just to make sure I wasn't dreaming earlier."
"That's fantastic." Addison said excitedly. She was doubtful that it would work their first try. "So how about you being her in about ten in the morning?"
"How about nine?"
"Nines perfect." Addison laughed at Callie's eagerness.
"Thanks, Addie."
"I'll see you then. Congrats you two."
"Thanks, bye." Callie said, hanging up to enjoy the rest of the evening with her newly pregnant wife.
"Give me some sugar." Callie said, putting her car in park and leaning over to kiss her wife. They had just pulled into their garage from an evening out.
"You're so silly, Calliope." The blonde laughed as she leaned over to kiss the waiting red lips.
"Thanks you for date night." She said, caressing the blondes cheek.
"No, thank you." Arizona countered. "I had a great time, but anytime I'm with you is a good time no matter what we're doing." She said, pulling her wife in for a heated kiss as her hands started roaming the brunettes body.

"Why are you taking your time?" Arizona whined with anticipation.

As Callie left the room, Arizona darted from the bed to wash her feet off in the bathroom. "Nothing." Callie shrugged her shoulders before repeating the process with the juice again before taking an ice cube and licking the frozen water helping the ice to melt. "We've had this discussion before Addie. It will be blue cold." Arizona said, as Callie stood by her side holding her hand and caressing her hair. "Why is that so hard to say?"
"Yeah yeah." Addison said as she moved the wand over the blondes stomach. "Now, you're four weeks and two days, so you won't hear a heart beat yet." She said, checking the ultra sound out to make sure everything looked perfect before turning the screen to the couple. "There is your baby." She pointed with her pinky.
"He." Arizona corrected their friend before looking at the screen. "Callie insists its a boy so we're going with that for now." Arizona smiled.
"Oh my god.." Callie said, leaning closer to the monitor. "Look baby.. He's right there." She squeezed her wife's hand and looked down at her with tears in her eyes.
"Yeah..." Arizona said, her eyes glistening also. "You're right.. He's just a little blob, but he's there, Calliope.. look." She said, her voice breaking.
"I know.." The brunette said closing her eyes when the tears fell as she leaned down to the blonde and nestled her face into her wife's.
"Everything looks great you guys. I'm going to have you come back in when you're eight weeks so we can listen to the heart beat." Addison said as the two held each other as the looked at their baby on the monitor.
Printing out a few pictures for her friends, Addison went over a bunch of things with the couple before excusing herself from the room so her friends could have a little privacy.
"I love you so much, Arizona." Callie said hugging her wife.
