So hear it is. I scratched your back.. now scratch mine and leave me some reviews as a THANK YOU! ;)

Little short.. but like I said.. A last second post!

Chapter 81

"Karev." Arizona said passing Alex in the hall at the clinic. "I need you to check the front door lock. Teddy said earlier that it looks like it's been tampered with."

"On it boss."

"And after that you can take your lunch break. Oh and have you seen Altman around in the past few minutes or do you know if she's left for lunch yet?" She asked him. She had been looking for her everywhere.

"Oh, check the supply closet." He snickered. "She said something about inventory."

"Thanks Karev." She turned and headed in that direction. Opening the door, Arizona got an eye full when they landed on her best friend and her fiancé, in a very very compromising position.

"Arizona!" Teddy exclaimed when she saw her friend standing in the doorway staring like she had just saw a ghost. "Hello?" She quickly grabbed a blanket from the shelf covering herself and Henry up from her friends knowing eyes.

She didn't know why she just stood their starring. "Oh god." Arizona gasped when Teddy brought her out of her daze. She couldn't believe she just caught her and Henry having sex in the closet. "Sorry... Oh good lord... I'm so sorry." She said, quickly shutting the door.

Rubbing her face, She tried to get the image out of her head as she turned and went into the nurses station, waiting for her friend to finish. Taking the stack of papers from the counter, Arizona sat down at Teddy's desk to sign off on them, hoping it would take her mind off of what just happened. She loved Teddy dearly, but she hope and prayed she'd never see her in that kind of position again.

Just a mere minute later, she heard the couple. "Bye." Teddy said to Henry as they walked up to the station.

"Bye, love you." Henry said, leaving Teddy alone to be humiliated. After giving her fiancé a kiss, she cleared her throat and walked further into the room hoping they would just forget what Arizona had just witnessed.

Trying her best not to look up from her seat, Arizona just kept blindly signing her name to the papers. "Are those the papers you hav.."

"Yeah.." Arizona nodded, cutting the darker blonde off. "Just trying to get everything finished early." She snickered.

"God." Teddy rolled her eyes. So much for acting like this didn't happen. "Go ahead, say it." Teddy said as she walked up to the desk.

"What?" Arizona looked up at her friend, biting the inside of her jaw as she tried not to laugh.

"Cut the shit, I know you. You're dying to say something so just say it so we can move on." Teddy said putting her hands on her hips.

"How the hell are you walking? I mean.." Arizona laughed. "Im just.." She stood and gave her friend a shrug. "Maybe it's just because I'm a gold star... but If I had something like that in me, I wouldn't be able to walk for days." She said, sticking her hands in her lab coat pockets. "He's huge."

"Okay.." Teddy said holding her hands up. She could not believe this conversation was going there. She figured the blonde would chastise her for her little break. "I walk just fine. Can we just forget about it now?"

"No. I'm serious. How the hell does it not hurt. It has too. Something that big was not made to go into something.. that small and delicate."

"Oh so, you treat Callie's... flower like it's a delicate little princess?"

"I.." She was at a loss for words. "Shut up, don't talk about my wife's flower."

"Okay.. does she treat your flower like it's a delicate princess? Or a fiery dragon?" Teddy laughed.

"Okay, this conversation is over." How the hell had Teddy turned this around on her? "Just don't let me catch you having sex in this building again."

"You have sex in this building all the time." Teddy countered.

"I do not." Arizona insisted, signing off on the last paper.

"Oh, well what was Callie moaning about yesterday during your lunch break? You two have been at it like rabbits since we all heard you fucking at the river last month."

"I don't know what you're talking about Altman." Arizona said, standing from her seat.

"Oh.. Let me see if I can recall what she was moaning yesterday.. Umm. I think it was... 'Damn it, Arizona. Oh god. Right there. Yes, yes baby, give it to me'." Teddy's teasingly moaned, mocking Callie's voice.

"You're fired." She said, walking out of the room.

"Yeah right. This place would go all to hell without me." Teddy laughed, following her friend to the blondes office.

Motioning for Teddy to come in, Arizona closed her office door. "So did you get it?"

"I did. I don't know why you couldn't pick it up yourself." Teddy rolled her eyes and pulled the box out of her pocket.

"Because, Theodora." She said, taking the box. "Callie's been with me, I couldn't just stop by the pharmacy and pick this up without her questioning what I've been doing. If this test says what I think it will, I want to surprise her tonight. I just hope she won't be upset with me. The last time I was taking shots, Callie wanted to be involved one hundred percent."

"Why would she be mad? You're just taking the shots."

"Did you not listen to what I just said?" She said, over reacting to her plans. "One hundred percent involved means just that. I don't want her to think I'm going behind her back.. even though it seems like I am.. now that I have said it out loud. Oh god. She's going to be mad!" Callie thought Arizona was going to see Addison to be put back on the fertility shots today, but Arizona was really just stopping by the sperm bank to pick up a vile from their donor 8675309, if her test turned up positive.

"Are you kidding? You have this romantic surprise all planned out. It's not like you went and got knocked up and are like... ohh surprise, I'm pregnant. You're just going to try tonight. That's all. You said it yourself, this is the way she wanted to do it in the first place. You both want this, so stop worrying."

"Okay. You're right." Arizona took a calming breathe. "Thanks Teddy."

"You're welcome." Teddy said taking the clearblue box from her friend and opening it. "Now take the damn test and see if your ovulating or not."

"Okay." Arizona took the test back and went off to her bathroom only to return just a minute later.

"It takes up to three minutes." Teddy said when the blonde entered the room again. "Don't hold it, it says to lay it flat." She said taking the stick carefully out of her hands. "Never mind." She smiled holding up the test after she glanced at the screen. "Smiley face. You are ready." She grinned at Arizona.

"Really?" She said, grabbing the stick. "Okay, tonight's definitely the night. Can you still set everything up at the house while we're gone to dinner? I don't know what time it'll be, I think she has a few afternoon surgeries."

"Yep, time doesn't matter. Just text me and let me know when. Do you have everything bought?"

"No, I'm going to go do that after I leave here. I'll drop the things off I need you to set up at the overlook and the other stuff you'll need will be in our guest closet." Arizona said, quickly changing out of her scrubs for the day.

"Are you sure Callie is oblivious to this?"

"Yes, she's clueless. I've not had mood swings with the shots this time. I just can't get enough of her, so I've been keeping her distracted with sex. Lots and lots of sex."

"Hey Dr. Torres." Arizona smiled, behind the mask as she walked into the room. She loved seeing Callie in her element.

"Oh, hey Dr. Robbins." Callie looked up as she heard the OR door open. "What do I owe the pleasure?"

Arizona could tell Callie was grinning at her by the way her eyes lit up. "I was just stopping by to see how long you were going to be this evening? I'm headed out for the rest of the day and I just wanted to say hi before I left. So.." She smiled. "Hi."

"Hi." Callie winked. "I have a few more surgeries this afternoon. I probably won't be home until seven or later. Did you have plans?"

"I have a thing or two up my sleeve, but I can push them back until you get home."

"I'm sorry."

"No need to be sorry Dr. Torres. It's Friday I have all weekend." Arizona said, walking up next to her wife. "See you at home babe." She said pinching her butt. "Love you." She whispered for only the brunette to hear.

"Oooh.." Callie's eyes widened in surprise, causing April to look up at the two. "Eyes on the patient Kepner."

"Yes, Dr. Torres."

"Back at you sweet cheeks." She leaned over and whispered back. "I'll see you at home."

"Do not snack. I have us dinner plans." Arizona said as she turned to leave.

"Yes, ma'am." Callie chuckled. "Oh and Dr. Robbins, let me know how everything went when you are finished at the hospital."

"I'll call you as soon as I get out."

Arizona had stopped at the sperm bank on her way home from running errands. Picking up all the supplies they would need to try to make another baby, she made her way home to begin preparing their meal for the evening. Finally she had their dinner packed away in a picnic basket just as her wife was coming through the door.

"Honey, I'm home." Callie said, throwing her keys on the table by the door.

"Hi, love." Arizona said, walking down the hallway to meet her wife. "How was your day?" She said, greeting the brunette with a languid kiss.

"It was good." Lightly brushing her lips with pink ones. "That's the best welcome I think I've ever had." Callie mumbled on pink lips.

"Welcome home, babe." Arizona grinned, pecking red lips again. "Run and take a quick shower so we can get going."

"Where are we headed?" Callie asked, pulling her shoes and socks off.

"Out to dinner."

"Oooh." She grinned. "What should I wear?"

"Something comfortable. I'm wearing this." The blonde said, referencing to her Bermuda shorts and her sleeveless tee. "If that helps."

"Oh, so no fancy dinner?"

"Umm.. Nope, but still super romantic."

"Kay. I'll only be a few." She said, running upstairs to take a quick shower.

While Callie was getting ready, Arizona packed their dinner in the jeep along with the dogs for a lovely evening out. Within thirty minutes, the brunette was dressed similar to her wife and jumping into the passenger side of the blondes jeep.

"Okay, so.." Callie said, trying to piece everything together. "..you've packed a few things in the back, but you won't let me know what they are, the dogs are with us and it's a Friday. Are we headed to the river?" She guessed.

"Nope." Arizona laughed. "But good guess babe." She said, navigating through Seattle.

"Come on, give me a hint. Are we staying somewhere?"

"No, I'll have back home before your curfew." Arizona insisted.

"Come on." Callie said, taking her wife's hand and lacing it with hers. "Give me a hint, I'm clueless."

"Okay one hint." She said, pulling the jeep over. "It's a beautiful view." She said, pulling the blindfold from the back seat. "Put this on."

"What?" She laughed.

"Don't take it off." The blonde said, putting the mask over her wife's eyes. "It's a surprise." She said, waving her hand close to her wife's face to make sure she couldn't peek. Quickly sending off a text to Teddy, Arizona pulled back on the road to their destination.

"Is this where you pull out a gun or something and turn on me? You know, leave me for dead."

"Relax, if I was going to kill you I'd do it in your sleep." She teased. "Just a few more minutes, you think you can wait that long?" Arizona said, turning up the dirt road.

"I suppose." She said, searching for her wife's hand again. "Hmm.. we're off the main road." She said, more to herself than her wife. She was trying her best to figure out what the blonde had planned.

"We're here." Arizona said, putting the jeep in park. "Ah ah.." She said, smacking her wife's hands away from the blindfold. "Don't move." She said, jumping out and quickly making her way to the passenger side of the jeep.

Hearing her wife open the door, Callie reached for her hands. "Okay, now I'm a little weary." She said, stepping out of the vehicle.

"Relax, I got you." Arizona said, letting the dogs out after Callie and grabbing the basket from the back. "Okay, come with me." She lead her wife over to the spot.

"Arizona." Callie blindly looked around, trying to somehow peek through the mask. "What are we doing? I swear there better not be people around watching me look like an idiot with this mask."

"Oh, hush. Tonight it's just you and I and the boys." She said, stopping in front of the area she had picked out. "Okay are you ready?"

"Yes!"

"Okay, I hope you like it." Arizona said, slowly taking the blindfold off her wife's eyes.

Callie's eyes didn't take but seconds to adjust to the scenery before her. A blanket was placed on the grass with a bunch of pillows thrown on top. Surrounding the area were a dozen candles, overlooking the Seattle nightlife. "Arizona.." Callie said in awe. "What did you do?"

The blonde smiled when Callie's face lit up. Stepping behind her wife, Arizona circled her arms around the brunettes waist. "Well, I just wanted you to have a night you wouldn't forget. And I thought. Why not have a nice dinner out in an open field overlooking the city with the stars shinning above us. So I called Meredith and Derek and asked them if they'd be so kindly to let me use their property for a quiet date with my beautiful wife."

"You are so thoughtful. I love it."

"Yeah well.. right now the sky's not really cooperating." She frowned when she saw some clouds rolling in.

"No, it's perfect." Callie turned and smiled at her wife. "You're perfect. Thank you." She said, kissing pink lips.

"I'm not perfect." Arizona whispered against red lips. "But I try for you. I love you." She said, gently kissing her wife.

"Thank you for my surprise dinner."

"Oh, don't thank me yet. I have another surprise for you up my sleeve tonight." She winked, leading Callie over to the blanket, sitting down and getting comfy before she began to set their dinner up. "I hope you're hungry."

"I'm starving. I've not ate since lunch." Callie said as she watched her wife prepair her a plate. "What do we have?" She asked, as Charlie and River went off to explore their surroundings.

"Well, I needed something that was easy to pack and I know you love my chicken teriyaki on a bed of flavored rice and broccoli... so." She said holding up a plate for her wife to take. "Chicken and rice it is." She smiled.

"Thanks baby, it looks delicious. I've been dying for you to make this." She said taking a bite.

"I know." The blonde winked. "Don't get too full though. I've made dessert too."

Looking at her wife, "What did you do? Is this you buttering me up to soften the blow?" Callie teased.

"No." Arizona told her. "I just wanted to do something nice for you. You've been so good to me and I just wanted to say thank you." Watching Callie squint at her. "I'm serious. I used to do all kinds of romantic things when we first got together and I've not done much of that lately. I feel like I'm slipping." She pouted.

"Are you kidding me, Arizona?" Callie asked shocked. "You do. You leave notes for me all over the house... all the time. It may seem like nothing to you, but to me.. God, that means the world. You sent me flowers last week just because. Do you know how that made me feel?" Watching her wife shrug her shoulders, she continued. "It made me feel all warm and loved. I was having an annoyingly busy day and I didn't even get to have lunch with you. So I was kind of a bitch to my nurses but when I walked into my office and saw those flowers, all my frustrations just melted away and a smile graced my face. It tells me that you think of me just as much as I think of you. And that's all that matters. I would take random flowers and little notes over fancy restaurants any day. And I would most definitely take a evening under the stars with you than anything else in this world." She said, caressing her wife's cheek. "No matter where we are at, anytime I'm with you, it's my favorite time." She leaned in to kiss pink lips. "So thank you."

"You're welcome." Arizona smiled kissing her wife's lips one more time. "Now eat, because I'm really looking forward to dessert."

"Is that dessert a metaphor for something else?" Callie raised her eyebrow.

"No, it's a metaphor for sugary goodness." She chuckled as they ate their dinner.

AHHH.. THAT SNEAK IS KILLING ME SLOWLY, BUT I WILL ALWAYS CONTINUTE TO REMAIN CALZONA STRONG!

LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU ARE THINKING
