Chapter 2- Research and Help from a Friend

Ever since her conversation with Detective Clarke, Quinn had been stuck in the library searching the internet, reading book after book and trying to talk to as many friends of all of the victims as possible. Spring break was about to start in two days but because of recent events most of the professors had given their classes extra time off. So because Quinn didn't have to worry about school work, she made it her mission to prove that someone killed Suzy Pepper along with those other three students (David Foster, Kate Warner and Michael Hahn).

Quinn had been so caught up in her research that she totally forgot she had a Skype date with a friend in 15 minutes. Quinn packed up her stuff and ran to Durfree Hall as fast as possible.

She made it to her dorm and without looking at the space previously occupied by Suzy, she turned on her laptop and then Skype. All of a sudden a petite brunette appeared on Quinn's computer looking very tired and kind of pissed off.

"Quinn Fabray what did I tell you last time you were late for our Skype date?" Quinn gave a small smile and light chuckle to Rachel Berry, her friend of 8 months who went to school in New York.

"That you were going to make me a PowerPoint about why it is always important to be on time to scheduled appointments, but really Rachel, scheduled appointments?"

"Well Quinn we do schedule time for us to talk at least once a week through Skype so yes I would consider this to be a scheduled appointment."

"Fair enough and sorry. I sort of lost track of time. Things have not gone so well these past few days."

"Oh how stupid of me Quinn. I almost forgot. I can't believe I gave you my Powerpoint speech after everything you've been through what with Suzy passing away. I am so…"

"Rachel I swear to god if you plan on ending that sentence with sorry I will make sure to burn your signed poster of Funny Girl next time I visit you at NYADA." Quinn started laughing as soon as she saw the look of pure terror on Rachel's face at the mere mention of destroying one of her beloved pieces of memorabilia.

"It's not funny Quinn! How would you like it if I made the same threat on your signed Heroes Poster." Quinn immediately stopped laughing.

"Ok fine truce! But seriously Rachel it's ok. I've just been so obsessed lately trying to prove that Suzy didn't kill herself."

"Wait what? The police think she committed suicide. That's absurd. And I'm not just saying this because of everything you told me about her. But after watching the news reports over and over again, well these were defiantly not suicides."

"Thank you! Finally someone who understands and doesn't call me 'hun' 'Miss Fabray' or 'a pretty blonde thing.' Stupid detective Clarke who shouldn't even be a cop in the first place."

"Woah slow down Quinn tell me what has you so riled up." Quinn told Rachel everything about the case and Detective Clarke.

"The nerve of this man he is such a little…."

"Woah calm down Berry. Both of us don't need to be 'riled up."

"I suppose you're right. But Quinn I think I have a solution to your problem. As you know my

fathers have connections to the ACLU, but what you don't know is that they have some other highly classified connections within the CIA and FBI."

"FBI?"

"The federal bureau of…"

"I know what it stands for Rachel."

"Right sorry, anyway my Daddy worked on a case with a unit of the FBI, the BAU or Behavioral Analysis Unit."

"Profilers? You mean like the famous author/profiler David Rossi?"

"Exactly so because you and I have finally become friends after years of being enemies, I will give you a direct in to the BAU in Quantico, Virginia."

"Oh Rachel you have no idea…wait you mean I actually have to go to Virginia?"

"Well of course Quinn. For one your spring break is coming up and two, Agent Jareau and the rest of the BAU are hard to convince."

"How do you know that Rachel?"

"My fathers and I are very open with each other.

"Well then it's settled then. I will help you book your flight for tomorrow afternoon. That way

you can meet with Agent Jareau Friday morning."

"Thanks Rach…for everything."

"It's no problem at all Quinn, but I expect a full update on the case."

Quinn smiled then told Rachel she would have a full update daily. They booked Quinn's flight to Virgina then Rachel called the BAU, begging and pleading to let them at least give Quinn a chance to plead her case.

Shortly after Quinn began packing and preparing for her trip, not knowing what to expect or who was going to cross her path.
