She can feel herself connecting to the body, reaching out to join to each of the muscles, each tendon, each cell. Her brain is processing all of the information - two arms, two legs, ten toes, a nose, two eyes (that face forwards!), a mouth, and fingernails.
Some of those things she's not had in a long time, not since before she can really remember.
The body feels strange, like she's still not really finished connecting, even though her brain tells her she has. There is something odd and this brain tells her it is dark - which means she has to open her eyes.
So she does.
