The first time that she meets him she thinks that he's mad. After all, he's just grabbed her and kissed her like the world's ending (like it hasn't already) and promptly offered her a lift.
In the days before the takeover she would've slapped him, ran off and called her parents to pick her up as soon as possible (not that she'd be here in the first place).
Now though she listens, because all you can do these days is trust those without the silver in their eyes. There is something about him, other than his good looks and decent kissing abilities.
Something that says he is telling her the truth.
