Miranda and Gary are stood in the kitchen. Miranda is gathering a few things together, Gary is feeding the twins.
MIRANDA: So Stevie and I will be back around four o'clock, are you sure you're going to be okay?
GARY: I think I can cope with a few hours alone with my children, yes.
MIRANDA: Have you got everything you need?
GARY: Yes Miranda.
MIRANDA: What are your plans?
GARY: We're off swimming.
Gary imitates doing the "breaststroke" causing one of the spoons to flick up and spray Miranda with porridge.
MIRANDA: Oh Gary! Why'd you do that?
GARY: It wasn't on purpose!
MIRANDA: I'm going to have to change now!
Miranda strops off out of the kitchen.
GARY: I think Mummy is a bit grouchy today.
MIRANDA: I heard that!
Gary pulls a face at the twins who laugh.
MIRANDA: And you two!
INT: IN THE SHOP
Stevie is stood in the shop, tapping her foot and checking her watch. Suddenly Miranda runs in.
STEVIE: And what time do you call this?
MIRANDA: I'm sorry! Had a bit of a hiccup this morning!
STEVIE: Your whole life is a hiccup!
MIRANDA: Yes, thank you.
STEVIE: Shall we go?
MIRANDA: After you?
Miranda points towards the door. Stevie strops out. Miranda sighs towards the camera.
INT: BACK AT GARY AND MIRANDA'S HOUSE.
Gary is rushing around, the twins are both crying.
GARY: Daddy's coming!
Gary runs into the kitchen he picks up the twins.
GARY: Which one of you has a present for Daddy?
He runs upstairs.
GARY: Great! It's both of you!
INT: Miranda and Stevie are in a shop.
STEVIE: So, where are you actually going on Holiday?
MIRANDA: You wouldn't believe me if I told you!
STEVIE: Try me!
MIRANDA: No, I don't want you to be jealous!
STEVIE: I'm not a child Miranda, I can hand on heart say that I will not be jealous.
MIRANDA: Okay, if you think you can handle it. (BEAT) Are you ready?
Stevie hugs up closely and nods her head.
MIRANDA: We, my small friend.
Miranda leans on Stevie's head.
MIRANDA: We are taking the twins to DISNEYLAND PARIS!
Stevie burst out crying.
MIRANDA: I thought you weren't going to get jealous?
STEVIE: Yes but that was before I knew it was Disneyland! I really want to go there! Like desperately want to go there! Can I come?
MIRANDA: I love you very much Stevie, but this is our first ever family holiday, think it would be a bit awkward if you tagged along as well!
STEVIE: RUDE!
MIRANDA: Not meaning to be rude of course!
Miranda pokes her tongue out at Stevie.
STEVIE: So what do you need to get?
MIRANDA: Everything!
STEVIE: We best get shopping then!
INT: IN GARY'S CAR.
The twins are both crying, he turns the music up louder. MC Hammer plays. They stop crying.
GARY: CAN'T TOUCH THIS!
They start laughing. Gary stops at a red light and starts dancing, the twins start laughing. Suddenly the song ends and the twins automatically start crying again.
GARY: No, No, please, it's okay!
He turns the music off.
GARY: My, my, my music hits me so hard. Makes me say "Oh my Lord." Thank you for blessing me. With a mind to rhyme and two hype feet.
It feels good, when you know you're down. A super dope homeboy from the Oaktown. And I'm known as such. And this is a beat, uh, you can't touch this!
The twins start to laugh again.
INT: IN A COFFEE SHOP
Miranda and Stevie are sat by the window.
STEVIE: What's so special about this coffee shop?
MIRANDA: Nothing, just thought it would be a nice change.
STEVIE: It is, but I could have done without the half an hour walk, if I am honest?
MIRANDA: Oh please stop moaning!
Miranda pushes Stevie off of the chair. As she gets up, Gary walks down the road opposite them. He is carrying lots of bags and has the twins in a sling, one on the front, one on the back.
STEVIE: Isn't that Gary?
MIRANDA: What? Where?
STEVIE: Right in front of you! (BEAT) That's the only reason you dragged me to this dive, isn't it!
MIRANDA: No, of course not. Mum suggested we came here!
STEVIE: Your mum suggested that you came to a place called Coffee Kingdom, where the tables are covered in a thin layer of sugar and coffee granules?
MIRANDA: Umm, yep, of course!
STEVIE: Admit it, you're spying on Gary!
MIRANDA: Me spying? Of course not!
Gary drops the bags.
MIRANDA: Oh no.
STEVIE: What?
MIRANDA: No, no, nothing!
Gary picks them up and carries on into he leisure centre.
MIRANDA: Shall we go to the gym?
Stevie just stares at her.
STEVIE: Are you serious?
MIRANDA: Of course not!
STEVIE: What is Gary doing?
MIRANDA: He's taking them swimming!
STEVIE: Very brave after last time!
FLASHBACK: IN A SWIMMING POOL
Gary and Miranda are in the swimming pool, with their backs to each other. The camera pans out, you're expecting them each to have a baby, they don't. They turn around.
MIRANDA: Where are they?
GARY: I thought you had them?
MIRANDA: I thought you had them!
The camera turns around and zooms in on the twins, each are in their floater seats at the other end of the pool, Gary and Miranda swims off to collect them. Miranda looks to the lifeguard.
MIRANDA: Don't worry, they're olympic swimmers! We can never keep up with them!
INT: IN THE COFFEE SHOP.
Miranda is leaving, Stevie is gathering all the bags.
STEVIE: Wait for me!
