I couldn't stay in the burrow not while George was there, he broke my heart. I grabbed a bag and packed up some of the stuff I had left at the burrow, I snuck downstairs while everyone was asleep wanting to leave. "Don't even think about it Sam" Molly said standing at the kitchen door and I sighed "he doesn't want me anymore" I said stopping "he was drunk and he was hurt, he doesn't know what he's saying" Molly said and I sighed "sit down and I'll make you a cup of tea" she said "you'll be going back to hogwarts tomorrow, maybe the next few months apart will help. He'll realise how much he misses you and you'll get back together" Molly said "you guys are meant to be" she added and I sighed and nodded and we finished our tea "now back to bed" Molly said and I nodded and went back to bed.
The next morning I got up and got ready before heading downstairs "take a seat Sam breakfast will be ready in a minute" Molly said and I nodded and got seated. It was just the two of us in the kitchen until the twins came in looking worse for wear "George I think you have something to say to Sam" Molly said firmly and he sighed and nodded "can we talk" he said and I nodded and followed him outside and we sat on the porch "Sam I'm so sorry about what I said last night, I was drunk and upset" he said and I shook my head "you meant it George, that's why it maybe is for the best that we take a break" I said. "I was thinking that too, you know your going back to school and I'm setting up the shop. We've got a lot going on just now and not seeing one another will add to the stress so maybe we should pick up once you've left school. It's only a couple of months away" he said and I nodded and we sat there in silence "do you want the ring back?" I asked quietly going to take it off but he quickly shook his head "no it's your ring Sam and we'll pick up where we left off once you finish school" he said.
Molly popped her head out the door "guys sorry to interrupt but Sam needs to have breakfast or she'll be late" she said and I nodded getting up and we headed inside and had breakfast before Arthur took me to the ministry to meet Dumbledore as he was taking me back to hogwarts. "Ahh Arthur there you are" Dumbledore said coming over and Arthur smiled "right Sam we will see you when school finishes ok" he said and k nodded "bye" I said and Dumbledore smiled at me "come along dear" he said and I followed him to the floo networks. "I've got something I wish to discuss with you when we return to hogwarts" he said and I nodded "sure" I said.
We got back to hogwarts and we got settled in his office "lemon drop?" He offered holding a dish of sweets out to me but I shook my head beginning to get nervous "what did you want to talk to me about?" I asked "have you considered becoming part of the order when you leave school?" He asked and I shrugged "not really no, George and Fred were thinking about it but I haven't" I said "well I've been thinking and if your willing I'd like you to join early" he said and my eyes widened " you want me to join?" I asked and he nodded "very much so, especially after your performance at the department of mysteries" he said "what performance I didn't do anything" I said and he chuckled leaning on his desk "you did more than you think, I want you to become a double agent. Infiltrate the Deatheaters and feed back information to us" he said and I sat there in shock.
"Let me get this straight you want me to join the Deatheaters and feed information back to you" I said shocked and he nodded "yes and I think you'd do a very good job at it" he said "who all would know about it?" I asked "just you and me" he said "the reason I am telling you this now is because if you were to do this we would have you leave now and say you ran away" he said "so I need your answer now" he added
