Hey everyone I AM SO SORRY THIS HAS TAKEN SO LONG! But here are some more chapters for The Meadow. We didn't have internet for a while -.- lol I also wrote these new chapters a while back so I hope they are ok! Enjoy ^_^

A Very Big Surprise

He thought long and hard about how he would break it to Kagome. How would be tell her about what had happened today? She'd probably wack him over the head for "letting" the boys fight a dangerous demon. Meanwhile Kazuki and Hotaka were talking to Amaya about it. She gasped in between words and looked horrified, though despite the fact that the boys could have died today they smiled and laughed about the experience.

Kagome entered the room where Inuyasha was sitting at the table.
"INUYASHA!" She screeched. "WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU WERE DOING?"
Inuyasha jumped out of his seat.
"IT WASN'T MY FAULT THEY SNUCK OUT!"
Kagome froze, a furious expression on her face, her cheeks burning. She knew it wasn't Inuyashas fault; in fact it was hers for not keeping a better eye on them. She took a deep breath to calm herself and then sat down across the table from Inuyasha.
"I'm sorry Inuyasha, it was my fault."

There was silence for some while, all they could hear was the laughter and clapping of Amaya as the boys proceeded to perform their acts of courage when they faced the three headed demon.

"What are we going to do?" Kagome said. "We can't raise children here while demons are running around." She was resting her head on her hand as she stared at the table.

"I donno." Inuyasha said, and they fell silent again. He suddenly remembered what Kazuki said earlier. "I should really go and check for more demons. Kazuki said he could still smell some earlier."

Kagome looked up suddenly shocked, "Be careful Inuyasha, and make sure the boys don't see you sneak out or they will follow you again!"

"Okay." He nodded and then proceeded to sneak out of the back door.

Inuyasha followed the scent; he leaped from tree to tree towards the smell. It seemed to grow stronger a lot quicker than it usually would, almost as if the demon was also running towards him. The one thing that disturbed Inuyasha the most about this scent was the fact that it was almost exactly like the scent of Kyoufu Oni!

'Did that filthy demon resurrect itself somehow?' Inuyasha thought. 'That's impossible! All three of his heads were cut completely off!'

Suddenly he came to a halt. Inuyasha peered thought he trees and he could see a demon walking casually along brown dirt path.

It was a tall black demon with red spikes going down its spine and down to its tail. It had yellow scales down its neck and over its stomach armed with white spikes on either side and on its head were two long horns coming out from behind its hollowed ears. Its long red wings swayed from side to side as it made its way contently down the path. Inuyasha hadn't realised this before but it was a female and in fact it was Kyoufu Oni's left head!

It was as if when his head got cut off it grew its own body. Suddenly the demon stopped and looked in his direction.
"You can come out now." She said calmly, "I know you are there Inuyasha!"
Inuyasha froze. He was in shock! How could this demon address him so calmly? Wasn't she technically KYOUFU ONI?

Inuyasha jumped down from the branch and scoffed. "Here for another fight I see!" He said pulling out his weapon.

"Not at all." She replied.

He froze. 'What does she mean 'Not at all'? She's a demon isn't she? The very one who tried to kill me and the kids not even a few hours ago?'

She stared at him calmly and said, "In fact, I'm here to help you."
