I woke up the next morning and forgot where I was, I then remembered everything that had happened and sighed. I slowly made my way out of bed and went to the bathroom and had a quick shower, as I entered my bedroom again I saw Narcissa setting a dress on the bed. "Ohh morning darling, that's all your new clothes here. Your wardrobes full and I picked one out for you to wear today, I really hope you like it" she said excitedly.
I walked over and smiled "I love it" I said even though I hated it, it wasn't me at all. The twins would laugh seeing me wear it, it reminded me on something my mother wore. Tight corset too, slight puff on the bottom "after you change come down for breakfast, your father wants to see you after that" she said and I nodded, I quickly nipped to the bathroom and pulled the dress on and Narcissa did up the back for me. "Thank you" I said taking the shoes she held out for me "no problem, I'll see you downstairs" she said and I smiled as she left. This smiling was wearing thin already, but I had to remember to make it convincing. After I was ready I headed down for breakfast and was confused when it was only Lucius and Narcissa "where are my mother and father?" I asked as I got seated.
"They are busy this morning but you'll see them after breakfast" Lucius said not taking his eye off the morning paper. I simply nodded and ate my breakfast in silence, it was nothing like the hustle and bustle at the burrow. I was really beginning to miss them and I really missed George. After breakfast Lucius showed me to the library where my mother and father were waiting on me, "morning mother, morning father" I said giving I little bow to my father and he smiled "come along darling we have much to cover today" he said and I went over to them "what are we doing today?" I asked "we're going to help you harness that dark magic inside you, get you to be able to do wandless and wordless magic" he said and I nodded "and how are you planning on getting me to harness it?" I asked. "The best way I know how, Bella is quite talented at the cruciatus curse. You will try and defend yourself by thinking of a spell to block the curse" he said
"What?!" I asked and he chuckled "it will work, the more times your under the influence of the curse the stronger you will become to wanting to fight it. To stop if and eventually you harness the power to stop it" he said. I looked at my mother and she looked so happy that she gets to curse me, I nodded "ok" I said and my father nodded and clapped his hands together "great now go stand over there and we'll begin" he said and I nodded.
I stood in my spot and looked up at my mother who had her wands raised "now you won't get it on the first try but I really want you to try" my father said and I nodded "crucio!" I heard my mother scream and seconds later it hit me. I felt like I was being stabbed over my whole body, I fell to the floor screaming and I wanted to stop it so much I did but I couldn't. My mother let up and my father helped me up, this went on for hours and hours. I was drained and I didn't know if I could take anymore "come on darling I know you can do it" my father said and I closed my eyes and let my wind wonder for second over to George and how I always felt stronger around him, like nothing could hurt me.
My mother cast the curse again but this time I didn't feel the pain, when I opened my eyes I saw my hands out in front of me and I had cast a protective shield around myself. My father clapped his hands "well come darling I'm so proud you managed it" he said coming over and I dropped my hands, my mother looked at me and I saw a slight proud look on her face before it was wiped off and anger replaced it again. "Severus is here and has potions to help" my father said "Bella go fetch Severus" he added and my mother left the room and my father guided me over to the sofa "now after this you go up to bed and rest up, these lessons will continue tomorrow and they will only get harder and harder on you" he said and I nodded. "I'm proud of you darling" he added and I smiled "thank you father" I said and Severus came in "right Severus you know the drill" my father said before going and Severus got seated next to me "so are you happy now?" He asked "yes I am" I said and he chuckled "I don't believe that for a second" he said shaking his head.
"Dumbledore wanted me to keep an eye on you but I think more fool him, you turn your back on the people who raised you why should they worry" he said and I looked down at my hands "can you please just give me something for the pain?" I asked and he nodded and gave me a vial. I quickly took it and sighed in relief when I felt the effects take place, "you know those weasley twins came searching the school because they didn't believe Dumbledore when he said you ran away" Snape said and I shrugged "well I did and now here I am where I'm meant to be" I said standing up "I wouldn't quite say that" Snape said quietly and I frowned.
He got up and quickly gathered his things, "Snape..." I started but he shook his head "please call me Severus" he said and I nodded "Severus why does everyone keep saying this isn't where I'm meant to be? That I'm not safe here" I asked and he sighed "I shouldn't..." He started but I cut him off "please Severus if I'm in danger I think I should know" I said and he sighed "your mother and father had you so your father could use you as a weapon, he will think nothing of using you the way he wants to and when he's done he will just throw you aside" he said and I ran my hands through my hair "so this he's training me up to use me to his advantage and if I don't manage he'd get rid of me?" I asked and Severus nodded "yes so really work hard at these lessons or you'll never make it back to your boy" he said pointing to the necklace I had on, it was a long chain that hid my engagement ring down under the top of my dress. I looked up at Severus shocked, "don't worry your secrets safe with me, I'm here to help you anyway I can" he said
