AN: I don't own Twilight and Kuroshitsuji
Finally Beta'd !
I would like to thank XxJasper'sAngelxX for going over my chapters :D
A/N: Hi my wonderful readers, I received a PM about this story but there was no name so I couldn't reply back directly. So I will just be replying here in Authors Note.
Q: What changes would you make from the Kuroshitsuji plot to your story? I don't mind it, but as long as you keep everyone in character it will be fine.
A: Well I did change some things like the bond between Ciel & Sebastian and Elizabeth's part in Ciel's life. And no worries , I am planning to keep everyone in character as close as possible. :)
Q: Will the Death Gods be in it? Let it be Grell or Undertaker! or both ! Plus Ronald and William!
A: Yes I am planning to add them, as for which characters you just have to stay tuned :P
Q: How are Ciel and Sebastian getting along? Did they get used to each other or is this one of the changes you made to the Kuroshitsuji manga? (Well anime, since Ciel is a demon)
A: Yes they get a long and I will be adding some bonding moments on some chapters. (I kind of blended both manga and anime to the story so...some chapters may refer to the anime or manga)
Q: What age did Ciel actually turn into a demon for your story? He's older here, did he grow or was it at that age?
A: His age when he turned into a demon is the same as the anime, although my twist was when he was turned there had been some changes, call it a side effect of some sort. (Besides wouldn't it be better if he's same age or older than Bella ? :P )
Sebastian was brought out of his concentration by Ciel calling him from his study. His young master had came back a few minutes after Miss Swan left for the park.
"You called master?" Asked Sebastian as he opened and closed the door.
"Where is Miss Swan?" Ciel asked.
"She left not too long ago, something about stretching her legs and park."
Reaching to his bond between demon and contractor he felt Bella is no where near the apartment.
"Someone took her..," he said, looking out the window.
"Took her?" Sebastian asked, frowning.
Looking at his butler, he replied, "It seems someone paid her a visit during her little stroll."
"What do you suggest we do master?"
"We sit and wait for the call. Remember this is Bella's game after all," Ciel said, leaning back on his chair.
Sebastian hummed in agreement. He too was present when the lady returned the chess piece, only he was in the shadows.
"I must say young master, she fairly reminds me of you."
His master scoffed and turned around, ignoring the comment.
Hours had passed before the two demons sensed vampires heading their way.
"It seems someone had sent a party our way, retrieval or kill on sight?" Ciel mused.
Moments later vampires barged into the apartment shattering the balcony glass door, snarling and growling with pitch black eyes.
None were able to take another step before they were quickly and swiftly dismembered. Twitching pieces of vampire bodies scattered the floor. Venom coating the polished floor.
Sebastian sighed, shaking his head and murmured to himself, "And I just finished polishing the floor this morning...the venom will stain the floor."
"Sebastian let's go..."
Ciel didn't know what came over him, but somehow he knew he needed to start moving and Bella would be calling for him sooner or later. Pin pointing the destination of his contractor both jumped from one rooftop to another.
Minutes had passed before his phone rang. Bella's name flashed through the screen.
Both stopped and answered the call.
Cringing as the shrill voice, that wasn't Bella's on the other line, spoke to them, both stood silent waiting for the order. Both demons found it highly amusing how the captor became agitated and furious over a happy Bella.
It wasn't long before they heard what they had been waiting for since the disappearance of Bella.
"I am here."
With that the two demon's eyes flashed to bright ruby and evil grins made its way to their lips before they shot off into the night.
-Present-
The soft glow from the candle light just added to the beauty that is Isabella Swan. Her hair flowed in waves cascading over her shoulders with hints of red, brown and blonde. Her skin even in its beat up state looked smooth and silky, soft pink pouty lips slightly parted from her even breathing looked like it was begging to be kissed and tasted.
Caressing away a stray strand of her chestnut locks he stood there admiring his contractor's beauty.
Beautiful...
Something he never did to any of his past contractors or anything or anyone for that matter.
Isabella Swan or Bella as she liked to be called. Her soul has been the one he had been trying to find all along. He can't help but to question why her? Sure she holds the soul he wanted the most, but there is something else. There was without a doubt that the nagging sensation he felt before was directing him to find the town...to find her. Never in all his demon life had he felt the need to find the contractor before he was summoned or called. So why her? Why was he drawn to her from the very moment he heard her name? Why has he started to feel something, an unknown emotion from the very first time he laid his eyes on her?
He looked out into the cloudy night sky.
She was weak. Thrust into the supernatural world from the second she stepped into the town. Hunted, bitten, broken mentally, emotionally and physically. Also lost her closest friends and family all in one night.
Just like him.
A year had passed and he watched her mourn for the second family that left her and the family and friends she had lost.
He admired her for her bravery, determination and even though he doesn't like it - her big heart for those around her, whether they may be mortal or supernatural. She looked past their outer shells and saw them for who they really were, treating them as equals.
Even though she was set on revenge against the family who broke her heart he knew that beneath those negative emotions she still felt something for them, apart from one. A hint of forgiveness and familial love.
Ciel chuckled. She's too kind for her own good.
He hated to admit it but every time he saw her gentle smiles, heard her melodic laugher or watched her childish antics, basically everything she did appeals to him, emotionally and...physically.
He shook his head and chastised himself.
Stop feeling this way! She's nothing more but a human. A human that will soon be dead.
He paced in agitation.
Her simple gestures caused new and unfamiliar emotions to bloom within him. They reminded him of familiar love; to cherish, protect, love, care amongst others, but with Bella they were so intense.
Why her?!
Upon seeing her beat up state a surge of pure rage, hate, anger and overwhelming protectiveness coursed through his body, accompanied by a low rumbling dangerous growl that he stopped before any of the spectators could notice. Then when the scent of her blood assaulted his senses, a red veil started to cover his vision. His inner demon stirred, he could feel him slowly awakening from its deep slumber. All he could think of was too kill the red headed vampire in front of him, but not before torturing her with a few methods he discovered on his travels. He was on edge and it took everything in him to retain his calm, collective and amused facade. The only thing that kept him from lashing out and losing control was Bella's smile and fruity floral scent.
Furthermore, it wasn't the first time he felt overwhelming protectiveness towards Bella. The first time was on the first night she awoke from a horrifying nightmare. He was in his study when he felt a surge of terror surprisingly from their bond between contractor and demon. Within seconds, he was outside her door where he could hear her heartbroken pleas of 'don't go' and 'don't leave me', salt could be faintly smelled coming from inside, indicating she has crying. Seeing as he wasn't well known to comfort people or anyone for that matter he called his butler to check upon the lady. Ever since then whenever Bella was plagued with nightmares of her past and Ciel would stay just outside her door in the hallway while his butler tended to her.
These feelings of happiness, fulfilment and peace when she was around or the loss, sadness and void when she wasn't there or the strong need to protect and the urge to comfort her when she was down were new to him. It was very unsettling.
After the contract has been fulfilled she will be gone...gone...
Thinking about her dying or a mere thought of her leaving him made his breathing laboured and his heart tightened. He couldn't stand the idea of her disappearing from his side or the world, at all.
Why am I feeling like this ?!
A low murmur came from the sleeping brunettes lips bringing him back to the present.
"Ciel..."
Just hearing his name from Bella, his irritation, confusion and anger all went out the window and all he could think of was how this woman made him feel, emotions that were new to him, not negative but positive emotions.
Love...
The one emotion that stood out the most. It felt different, it wasn't the same love he felt towards his parents, friends, staff and most of all Elizabeth. It was far stronger and each time he spent time with her those feelings only intensified.
Why am I feeling such things towards a human...towards Isabella?
Many had said that demons are said to be 'devoid of love', but looking at his past actions and feelings he couldn't help but think that they were wrong. That a demon such as himself were capable of something like...love...
Caressing her rosy cheeks he looked at her intently before doing something he had no control of. It was spontaneous. He bent down and placed a gentle kiss upon her cherry lips.
His eyes widened at his own actions, it felt both good and worrying at the same time. Kissing her lips brought out a wave of feelings such as peace, joy, happiness, pleasure, love, hope, fear and lots more. It was drowning him whole.
This was all new to him. Needing to escape and give himself more time to think, he silently excused himself from Bella's room and locked himself in his study.
From the shadows, Sebastian watched his master show another side of him that he thought he had forgotten. Since his master had become a demon he had become cold, serious, collected and incomplete. Although ever since they had found Miss Isabella Swan he had seen some subtle changes from his master.
He had seen Ciel's caring side before with Miss Elizabeth, but not this much. Even though Miss Elizabeth was his fiancé, he only saw her as a close sibling, nothing else. He knew something inside his young master sparked to life as soon as he laid his eyes on the young lady.
Its true that Sebastian had been alone all his life, but never once had he said there wasn't someone out there waiting for him, his other half. Everyone, whether they may be supernatural, mortal or immortal there was always someone out there, their soul mate, their other half, imprint ...a mate, even for demons like them.
Unlike everyone else demons have the hardest time finding their other half, no one knew why, but it sometimes took centuries or a millennium to find their other half. Right in that moment there were only five pairs of mated demons known. Although, one of those mated demons were said to be a myth, it was about a demon finding his mate in an angel. No one know whether it was true or not because there weren't any physical evidence. Nevertheless that particular story of angel and demon is still told throughout the supernatural community.
A genuine smile graces his lips as his master finally found his other half. All his mortal life he has suffered, emotionally and physically. He bore scars to prove them and still carries it with him till to this day.
When they first met the young swan his master unknowingly gave her time and space. He may be more than a hundred years old, but he never listened to his heart. His heart and demon knew that the young girl they found in the forest was their mate and wasn't ready for them.
Now that a year had passed and Sebastian could see that she was ready, both of them are.
For once in his demon life his young master should think and listen with his heart not just his brains, he thought before shaking his head and adding. His young master can be dense sometimes... much like the young lady
Chuckling he retreated back into the shadows, awaiting for further instruction from his slow and clueless lord and lady.
Both have so much in common ...
