Harry left and George wrapped his arm round me "love is everything ok?" He asked and I looked at him and shook my head "no something Harrys said has got me thinking" I said "what's that?" He said and I sighed "when the wall fell on top of me I went to this place, Dumbledore was there and he mentioned about my father being a part of me. I thought that it died when I did but Harry said he has a part of my father in him and told me the only way it can die is by my father killing him" I explained and George looked at me shocked "what are you crazy? You think that's what you've got to do too?" He asked and I sighed.
"George hear me out ok, horcruxes that's what my fathers made. He split his soul so he can never be destroyed. A part of him is in Harry and a part is in me" I said taking his hand "I need your help" I added and he nodded knowing what had to be done "I'll be here" he said and kissed my head. We headed over to hermione and Ron "I need your help" I said and they nodded "sure" they said "is there another way to destroy a horcrux inside someone beside the person that made it killing me?" I asked and hermione looked at me knowingly "I think you know the answer to that Sam, you know where Harrys going to" she said and I sighed knowing I had to die too.
"George cmon" I said guiding him out the great hall "Sam your not going to let him kill you are you?" He asked and I sighed "George I have to how else am I going to make sure he doesn't come back?" I asked and he sighed "but I'm going to lose you Sam and I've only gotten you back" he said tears filling his eyes and I nodded "I know George but this has to happen" I said tears filling my own eyes. He wrapped his arms round me and held me close, we stood there for as long as we could before we made our way out to the courtyard and saw my father and Deatheaters coming towards the school. "Ohh god" I said seeing harry in hagrids arms and my grip tightened on George's hands knowing that was going to be me.
"Harry potter is dead" my father shouted as they stopped, I let George's hand go and he nodded. I stepped forward and my fathers eyes widened "so this is where you've been, with the filthy blood traitors" he spat and I glared at him. "I'm where I belong" I snapped and my mother glared at me and held her wand up and fired a curse at me and I raised my hand deflecting it. Everyone began coming out the school hearing the commotion and my father stepped forward "it's time to show everyone how serious I am, my daughter had betrayed me and will suffer the consequences" he said and I frowned and he held his wand up and I knew this was it. "Avada Kedavra" my father screamed and I felt the curse hit my body and I collapsed to the floor. I heard George in the distant screaming and I was confused, I should be dead right now. I couldn't move or talk but I was aware of everything going on around me, I felt hands grabbing at me and someone crying and I knew it was George.
I felt a shooting pain inside me and I knew that was the part of my father dying, I gasped and my eyes opened and George was looking down at me shocked "Sam! Your alive!" He said and there was a resounding gasp round the courtyard as he helped me sit up "she's still alive!" I heard my father shout and I looked over at harry in hagrids arms and saw him move. He jumped out of hagrids arms and shot a curse at my father and my fathers eyes widened "the boy! He's mine!" My father shouted going after Harry. George helped me up "Sam cmon" he said panicked seeing the fighting was starting up again. He held his wand up shooting spells and took out my wand knowing I didn't have the strength to not use my wand.
I saw my mother catch my eye and she raised her wand, I deflected her curse and George shot one at her. We managed to get away and headed into the school, the fighting was going on everywhere. Every turn you made there was more Deatheaters fighting, we got to the great hall and joined in with the fight. I felt my strength coming back and I managed to protect myself. My mother stepped in front of me and smirked as she shot a curse at me and I fought back. We were shooting spells back and forth and I was tiring quickly, George was locked in another duel with a Deatheater and couldn't help me so Ginny stepped in "thanks gin" I shouted and she nodded but my mother shot a spell at her and Molly stepped in "not my daughter you bitch!" She snapped and shot a curse at my mother. "Mum!" Ginny shouted and went to run to get but I pulled her back "Ginny no let her do this" I said and I looked over and saw Molly had overpowered my mother and killed her.
Molly stepped back in shock and I smiled "thank you so much" I said giving her a hug and Molly nodded "you are like a daughter to me sam, I'll protect you like your one of my own" she said and I felt the tears well up and she smiled. We felt the war stop and knew that was it, either Harry or Voldemort had died. We saw the Deatheaters disappearing one by one and I turned to George and grinned and he smiled and I ran over to him.
"We did it George!" I said and he picked me up and span me around "we won!" George said excitedly an Fred came over "guys we did it, we're finally free" he said an gave us a hug and we laughed. "Sorry for everything guys, I couldn't tell you but you know I was never on their side" I said and George nodded "we do now Sam and we're sorry for the way behaved" he said and Fred nodded "yeah we're sorry for being dicks" he said and I nodded "I forgive you guys, I want my best friends back" I said and gave them both a hug.
We joined the rest of the weasley clan and Molly gave everyone a hug glad they were all safe. "Let's all go home" she said and George gave my hand a squeeze "let's go love" he said and I nodded and we left hogwarts and went back to the burrow.
