AN: I don't own Twilight and Kuroshitsuji, also some of the quotes that are used in this fanfic are from the anime/manga. They are far to awesome to not include.

I would like to thank XxJasper'sAngelxX for going over my chapters :D

Looking for a second Beta for my other story Immortal Watcher. PM me if you are interested :)

Extreme - More Than Words

Bella looked up from the book she was reading to the library door. From the carpet floor beside her Pluto stirred from his nap, ears perked up from strange shrill noise coming from down the hall. Pluto stood up and growled at the door and Bella stood up not long after and scratched his silver fur behind his ears, calming the silver beast.

"Pluto, what is it?"

Woof!

Another high pitched screech from the unknown person caused Bella to wince and Pluto to whine.

Who could make such a noise? A Banshee? Are they even real?

Bella walked across the hallway to be greeted by something she was sure is not seen often, clutched onto Sebastian, like a koala, was a man? With long dark red hair, shark-toothed smile, bright emerald eyes framed by red glasses accessorized with a neck chain containing skulls. His attire consisted of a vest, black leather gloves, red and white striped bow tie and read black high heeled ankle boots. Over his vest is a long blood red coat that is loosely thrown on.

"Oh, Sebby I missed you so much!" The redhead wailed, clutching the demon butler like his life depend on it.

"Get off me you despicable grim reaper," Sebastian all but growled in return, drawing his knife and fork ready to kill.

"Such an ice king you are! A beautiful tyrant! An angelic devil! A raven with the wings of a dove! My little lamb with the appetite of a wolf...My very own Sebastian Darling!" He gushed with a twinkle of devotion and admiration in his sea green eyes.

Feeling like she came in at the wrong time she stepped back and turned on her heels, "Sorry to disturb you, I will be on my way..." Turning to look at the horrified butler she said, "Oh and Sebastian, I didn't know you swung that way..." Amusement evident in her uncovered chocolate eye.

Pluto gave out a wolfy snicker and turned to follow his mistress.

"Wait Miss. Swan, it's not what you think, " Sebastian said unlatching the red head and dropping him to the floor not so gently.

"Right..." Bella eyed to the clingy red head at his feet.

Finally, said red head turned his attention to the human female dressed in a woolly sweater over a simple dark blue dress, black leggings, her hair tied up in a messy bun and white ballet flats.

"Oh who is this Sebby?" Looking at up and down he noticed the eye patch and made the connection. "A new contractor?" He asked arching an eyebrow. Focusing his grim reaper vision he looked deep into her soul seeing a flame like pure white soul encased in a dark wisp of different dark colours. His eyes widened at his findings. So pure and innocent, a very rare thing to see in an adult. What's more is that darkness isn't mixed into her soul, its separate and looked like its protecting the centre. Never had he seen a soul like hers in all his reaper days.

Well that's something you don't see every day. How does a mortal like her have a soul like that? He wondered.

"Hi, I am Isabella Swan, but everyone calls me Bella. Pleased to meet you," The human brunette murmured snapping the reaper out of his musings.

Fixing his attire to the best of his abilities he stood up and introduced himself with a small mock bow, "Grell Sutclif, grim reaper extraordinaire. Only at Sebby's service."

Bella stifled a laugh. "Sebby..."

Sebastian coughed, "Miss Swan please refrain from calling me such an atrocious name," shooting a menacing glare at Grell he then added with an exasperated sigh, "Anyway, may I ask what is your purpose to coming here? I hoped to never to see you again, but I guess fate must hate me."

"I had a job nearby and sensed your presence so I decided to visit my favourite butler."

Bella tilted her head to the side looking at the red grim reaper with curiosity.

"No black cloaks and big scythe. I guess it isn't good to always rely on what the media thinks supernatural's look like, I mean they already had vampires way off... I wonder what else they had wrong."

"You are right Miss Swan. The media today depicts supernatural to what the viewers want to see. Also they only go on what they had been told, they may be based in facts or twisted truth to hide the real story."

"Grim reapers can be identified by their yellow green eyes, glasses, black suit and tie, carrying a tool of some sort that act as a 'scythe' it can range from garden tools, chain saw, scissors and more," A male voice said.

Everyone looked at the side window seeing a man in a suit climbing in the window from the outside, "Also grim reapers aren't seen easily, only supernatural's have no problem, as for mortals we can only be seen only when we wish to."

"William?!" Grell shouted in a panic, his eyes darting in search of the nearest possible exit.

"Control yourself you poor excuse of a grim reaper. Abandoning whilst in the middle of a job to go off gallivanting with a demon," Unlatching Grell from Sebastian with force, "You are a shame to all grim reapers out there. Why they still keep you I will never know." He shook his head.

"William," Sebastian said briskly.

"Demon," William replied.

Though demons and grim reapers despise each other. William, Ciel and Sebastian had somehow developed civility towards each other when they crossed paths. It's probably because they had crossed paths more than once in a span of few years (when Ciel was human) and more than once they had worked together to achieve a goal thinking back at the Noah circus and Ship voyage events. As for Grell...well he was just plain odd and 9 out of 10 just want to kill him. Something the three can agree on.

Looking at the new person next to Grell closely, he is a tall man with short, neatly combed black hair and yellow green eyes that is covered with a rectangle shaped glasses which have four decorative lines on each side of the frames and dressed in a black suit, tie, gloves and dress shoes.

Her eyes widen, familiarity sparked in her brown eyes.

"You..." Barely a whisper.

This caught William's attention and looked at the brunette on the hallway.

Everyone looked back and forth between the two like a tennis match seeing who shall be the first to snap out of their frozen state.

"Well...it is indeed a small world"

Bella chuckled. "Yes it is"

"May I ask how you know of Mr. Williams?"

Sebastian is intrigued to how does Isabella Swan know of the grim reaper. It surprised him a tad little bit. I wondered how many more supernatural she has meet before apart from demons, shape shifters and vampires.

"I meet him before...when I was little, I think...?" Came out as a question in the end.

"You think..?" Grell asked with a frown.

Bella merely shrug, "Thinking back, all I can see is a foggy memory that I may had mistaken as a dream. Besides I was child back then so my memory isn't that great."

Everyone looked at William for explanation. "I remember meeting a small girl in pig tails walking alone on the street at night. You are one peculiar girl..."

-Flashback-

A 8 year old Bella roam the dim lit empty streets of Arizona. She was walking back from the store after doing a little errand from her mother. Now it may seem that it was irresponsible for her mother to ask of her child, an 8 year old child to run an errand at the middle of the night but unfortunately because of her free spirited attitude and her trust , she let little Bella go alone. Reene thought because of the low crime rate of the area and Bella's mature attitude, it was fine to send Bella to the store which was only a few blocks away from their house.

It was in the middle of summer so the cold breeze that came from the desert gave her comfort she needed. Clutching a little plastic back filled with the items she bought she walked silently.

She was brought out of her thoughts by a loud thump from an alley not far from the side walk. Curious she looked around before walking towards the source of the sound. She knew it could be dangerous, but because of her fearless nature she went anyway.

As she round the corner she can hear someone talking along with what sounds like cinematic sound effect of films rolling.

"Let's see..." a male voice trailed off in thought. "John Andrews, son of the departed Mr. David and Mrs. Verra Andrews. Cause of death ...heart failure...Further notes...Mr. Andrews is frequently seen in bars drinking his gambling problems which sometimes result to beating his wife and two children."

A flickering of light can be seen coming from inside the alley. Quietly she rounded the corner careful to not let anyone hear her and hid behind a dumpster. She can still hear the male voice spoke but it became a little louder because of her distance.

"Mr. John Andrews... because of your current and pass actions you are sentence to death, " And a snipping sound of a scissor was heard after.

The flickering of light was gone and it became dark again with only the moon light illuminating the empty streets.

"You can come out little girl, I know you are hiding there," The male voice said.

Bella came out from her little hide out. It was then she saw where the voice came from, it was from a man in a black suit wearing glasses that stood over a dead body dressed in ragged clothes.

"How did you know I was there?" A little Bella asked, frowning not once of fear evident in her eyes only curiosity and confusion.

"Your heartbeat," he curtly answered. He looked at the girl closely, her long brown hair done in pig tails and she was wearing flower printed sundress and blue slippers.

"Is he dead?" She asked.

"Yes"

She looked at him and the person at his foot, not once her heart falter.

"You're not afraid," It wasn't a question but a statement.

She shook her head. "No"

"Why?"

She shrug. "Everyone dies at some point." Then she pointed at the dead body. "Besides, he was a bad man and has done bad things."

"You are one strange little human girl."

She gave him a shy smile. "You're the second person who said that"

"Second? Who was the first?"

"I..." Bella shook her head, "I don't know...I can't remember." she said faintly remembering a figure with long grey hair, scared face and a Cheshire smile. " But all I know is someone had said it before."

A few minutes of silence had passed when Bella talked again, asking a question he never had imagined.

"Are you a grim reaper?"

"How do you know?"

She closed her eyes and tried to remember, but every time she tries to recall why and how does she know them she was hit by a mental wall preventing her from remembering. "I'm not sure, to be honest I just sort of knew and I am not sure why."

He walked closer and crouch down so he was at the same level as her. Placing a hand over her head he looked at her memories.

It seems someone had tampered with her memories earlier on, probably another grim reaper he thought. She had certain memories block from three years ago. But the question was who would want to change her memories? Why did the tampered memories lasted months not a day or hour or mere minutes? How on earth did she start remembering blocked memories? Normally when grim reapers change a person's memory they either think their meeting was all a dream and forget it or just plainly forget it. Never the less it is not important, she is just mere mortal child so he just brushed off his questions.

Looking at his watch , it was getting late for his next case.

"Never mind then. Unfortunately even if I found you quite intriguing I cannot let you walk out knowing what just happen. "

Little Bella just started at his fascinating green and yellow eyes hidden behind his glasses. Unusual colour but pretty none the less .

He placed both of his palms on either side of head and concentrated. "It won't hurt at all"

For each second that pass by her eyelids became heavy, last thing before she completely black out was hearing. "Good night little one."

Minutes later little Bella woke up from the bench swing on their front porch, looking around she thought she had the weirdest dream. It was about a man in a black suit wearing glasses.

-Flash back end -

"I always wondered how memories block by grim reapers resurfacing," William mussed but then he remembered something. "Pardon for my rudeness, My names is William T. Spears, Supervisor of the Dispatch Management Division."

"It's ok. Nice to meet you... again Mr. Spears," Then she looked at raven butler. "Is...is Ciel here?" asked in a low voice.

"No my lady, sorry to inform you but the young master is away on a business trip. But he will be back later on the evening."

She unconsciously rub where her beating heart lies. Longing, sadness and guilt that flashed through brown eye so quickly but both her action and emotions didn't go unnoticed in both grim reapers and the demon butler.

"Well...uhmn... it's nice to meet you both again but I must be going. Sebastian please bring my dinner later in my room. I..I don't feel well."

With that she gave a small nod and left with Pluto trotting behind her, his crimson eyes filled with worry for his mistress.

-Kitchen-

Having escaped his 'baby sitter' again Grell made his way back to his favourite demon butler.

"Hey...Sebby..."

Silence.

"Sebby..."

Silence.

"Sebastian!"

"What?" Sebastian snapped, glowering at the red grim reaper lounging on a stool in front of him.

Cowering from the raven haired butler's glare he stuttered. "I have a question"

"Well, what is it?"

"How long have you and little Ciel meet Miss Swan?" He asked, playing a lock of his hair.

"A little over a year ago. Why?" Taking his attention away from his food preparation to Grell.

"So a year together and he hasn't done anything, at all?"

"I was also wondering the same thing," William asked in wonder appearing beside Grell.

"Young master may be perceptive with things and his surroundings, but when it comes to himself and his feelings unfortunately he isn't" He paused and resumed his work. "Actually there were some progress but when everything was running smoothly, that's when everything fall apart." He said thinking back at the Cruise and the horseback riding that took only few days ago.

Grell sighed. "What a tragic ending...it's like a tragic story of Romeo and Juliet."

"I doubt it." Sebastian muttered under his breath.

The reaper looked at the demon butler. "Did you say something?"

"No, you must be imagining things." said Sebastian.
