Hello! 90 chapters now, it's amazing! And thanks for the reviews too! :) Also, thanks for standing up for me to that person/people. It means a lot. I could go on with a whole speech, but I'll save it. Just know, I appreciate it. :) My poll is still up if anyone cares, just in case. Ya know. So, I own nothing and probably never will, but I enjoy writing this, so hopefully you will too!
Percy's POV
I have no clue what Thalia did to me, but whatever it was worked. Marching out of the room I had just had a mental breakdown in, I led the way to the empty throne room. My companions and I need to have a talk.
Settling into a loose circle, kinda like the ones in Duck-Duck-Goose (or Demigod-Demigod-Monster to us half-bloods), I eyed each of the girls. Anne looked like she had just been kicked in the stomach ten minutes ago and was slowly recovering. Artemis looked bored and battered. And Thalia was looking at me.
Wait-
"So, Percy," she asked me. Anne and Artemis stopped talking and looked at me. "Did you have a plan other than to march out of the room, and lead us into a circle?"
I opened my mouth, then closed it. I really didn't have any other plan. "I was hoping to see if you guys had any ideas of progress before deciding on a plan." Yeah, that sounds good.
I nodded to Anne and Artemis to give them the okay to talk.
"Well," Artemis suggested, "I believe we should try to leave. Your mission is done, and now all we need to do is go home. As Thalia, I believe, told you, as soon as we edit the cave, my fellow Olympians will flash is to Olympus. I cannot do it, for this cave is protected by magic, and I am too weak to flash anywhere."
I nodded. "Sounds good. Does that sound like a good plan for travel, Anne?"
My sister looked at me weird. "You-you want me to come with you? I thought I was staying behind."
"Why would we leave you?"
"B-because I was part of the enemy?" She asked it more like a question, unsure as if we'd change our minds and start yelling.
"Why would we do that?" I asked.
"Yeah!" Thalia agreed with me. "You're my cousin."
"You're my sister," I pointed out, to which Thalia rolled her eyes.
We all looked to Artemis to say one last reason why Anne shouldn't go. Sighing, she muttered. "Your presence is tolerable." At a glare from Thalia and I, she amended, "I enjoy your presence."
Beaming, Anne cheerfully exclaimed, "Of course I think Artemis has a good idea! It sounds perfect. I know the way, so that isn't a problem. We might need to take some provisions though, just in case. I can get those too, so that isn't a worry. My only question is, do you two think you can make it?" She turned to me and Thalia. "You did sustain some injuries. Are you well enough to journey?"
Nodding, I looked to Thalia. Together, we nodded and told Anne we were fine. We were at least able to make it. But at her urging, we promised to let either Anne or Artemis know if something hurt.
"Okay," Anne concluded. "I think that's it! Since these two finally promised to forget honor and selflessness, I think we're good! Now all we need is to pack everything."
She turned to Artemis. "Do you think you could pack food? I'll show you to the kitchen." Artemis nodded.
Anne turned to Thalia. "Do you think you can pack material objects? We might need blankets, extra clothes, shoes, ect. I can show you where to get them." Thalia nodded.
Finally, Anne turned to me. "Do you think you could pack weapons? I can show you where to get them." I nodded.
"Okay! I'll check in with the other servants and slaves. After I help you guys of course. Alright everyone, if youll please follow me."
Anne led the three of us from the throne room, and down a long hallway. We passed several doors, but saw no other people. I thought that was odd, seeing as how Anne said there were others.
"I recognize this hallway! We went this way to reach the throne room when we first got here!" Thalia exclaimed, looking at me. "Right Percy?"
I looked around, but nothing caught my attention. "I don't think I've seen any of this before. It's not familiar at all."
A littl ways in front of us, Artemis said, "You were under a spell, were you not, Percy? That could be why you don't remember this. After all, the enchantment had taken you over."
I nodded. "That's very true."
In front of Artemis, Anne lowered her head as if in shame. I don't know who else noticed, but after that we didn't speak.
Finally, Anne spoke. "Here we are at the kitchens. Artemis, this is your stop. There's one picnic basket on the counter. Use that to hold the food. Either fill it to the top, or just put as much as you think we should bring. Take whatever you want to use."
Artemis gave Anne a weird look while she spoke of the basket. Anne didn't notice, or just didn't want to say anything. After that, we continued in our way.
After a little while in silence, Anne spoke again. "Here is where you need to get material objects Thalia. There's a chest on the floor against the wall, you can use that to hold whatever objects you think we should take. Take whatever you want."
The look Thalia gave Anne wasn't as bad as the one Artemis gave, but it was still an odd look. Thalia left us, and Anne and I continued down the hallway.
At long last, Anne and I stood before a large oak door. "Beyond this is the weapons room. I will show you inside since everyone else is gone. Next to the door is-"
"Lemme guess," I interrupted. "Is it a crate? And I can fill it with whatever until it either fills or I think we have enough weapons?"
Anne gave me an odd look. "No. I was going to say that there's a chest. But other than that, yes. You were correct."
I nodded, and pushed open the doors to a huge room that practically glowed from within.
