Hi guys! First of all, thanks for the reviews HB and Sophia! :) We're almost to 100 chapters! And at 333 reviews, which is just KABOOM! Brain explosion. Clean up on isle 7. :) Anyways, my poll is still up. Ya know, in case you haven't read my last 50 messages or so saying that my poll is up. Whatever. I own nothing, but why does that matter to you? You just want to enjoy the chapter. So go ahead.

PS: Ill just keep smiling. Apparently, that's all I can do. :) Just keep smiling, just keep smiling... And sleep. I need some of that too. I'll do that after I finish smiling. (Aka never really. At least not for long...)

PPS: sorry I didn't update yesterday. I fell asleep while writing it, and by then it was real late and I knew I'd never finish it. So I slept (sorta).

Percy's POV (HB, thanks for voting. Moment of truth...)

These are the two scripts I've been given, from two different companies. I need to pick, which one would I rather be? The first one is smart, good in school, employed, and (most importantly) whole. But he's also serious, hopeless, friendless.

The other is funny, friendly, carefree, and he's still a kid inside. But he's also less than smart, unemployed, and missing something from his seemingly perfect life.

Which one is closer to me? Which one is who I am inside? What about on the outside? What's better, good friends but being empty inside, or lonely and whole? Smart or funny? Employed or having hope?

I know what to do now. I know who I am.

Thalia's POV (don't kill me. just wait)

I sat with Artemis, a lady named Pat, and Percy in a small room. Anne disappeared, perhaps to finalize plans. Each of us looked consumed in our thoughts, all of us sitting in a crushing silence.

I looked up at Pat. "Hello? I think you said your name was Pat."

She looked at me. "And you're Thaiia right? Daughter of Jupiter?"

"Zeus," I corrected. I was about to say more when Percy jumped from his seat and started to pace. He would take five steps, turn, take five more. And repeat, repeat, repeat.

"Percy?" I asked him. He didn't answer. His eyes were locked to the floor, obviously swirling with thoughts. "Percy?"

Artemis stood too, staring at Percy with concern. "Percy?"

Pat at turned around and looked at the demigod she just barely met. "Master Percy? Are you alright?"

He he gave no sign that he heard us say anything.

Listenjng carefully in in the near silence, I could hear Percy muttering words that I couldn't quite make out. He started to gesture with his hands as he paced as well, giving him the look of a madman.

The door o the room creamed open and Anne slipped in. She took one look at Perch, who had not stopped pacing, then at the rest of us with concerned faces. "What did you do to him?" She cried.

I mi put my hands up. "We didn't do anything! We were sitting here when this happened!"

Anne looked at her brother, then trying to avoid an argument, she said, "Fine. But what's he doing?"

"I have no clue! He's been doing it for a few minutes now!"

Anne thought. "Did you try to speak to him?"

We nodded.

"How about physical contact?"

We hesitated. No we didn't try that.

I mi walked up to my cousin, and grabbed his arm. He continued to pace, almost dragging me behind him.

"Harder! A little gentle touch ain't gonna fix him!" Anne exclaimed. She sounded as worried as j felt, if not less.

Letring go of Percy's arm, I stepped back. He kept pacing, as if nothing had happened. Pulling my arm back, I socked him in the shoulder.

Percy faltered in step, but was otherwise unaffected.

"It didn't work!" Anne wailed. "What do we do now?!"

Artemis is pushed her way to the front of the group. Walking up to me, she told me to back up. I gladly did so. Anything to step away from my cousin, who by now was scaring me fairly badly.

"Percy," she said to him, "I apologize for what I am about to do."

Beside me, Anne's eyes widened. "Don't hurt-"

"Too late," I mumbled. Artemis's hand was already falling back to her side as Percy stopped in his tracks and his hand flew to his cheek.

I think I even heard him mumble something about everyone liking to slap him.

Stepoing forwards, I beaconed forArtemis to back up. "Percy," I carefully asked, "are you okay?"

He looked at, his eyes dark and serious. "Yes. Why wouldn't I be?" Unlike usual, his voice was quiet and soft, almost a deadly calm. It was almost as if he was challenging me to say he wasn't okay.

I accept. "You were pacing back and forth. We tried to talk to you, but you didn't acknowledge us."

He cleared his throat. "Yes, well. I'm sorry. I was thinking."

Deciding that it couldn't hurt to push, I asked, "Thinking about what?" I made my voice sound innocent and sweet, so that if he denied answering he'd sound like a jerk.

Percy seemed to weigh his options. That confused me. Two minutes ago, he wouldn't' we done anything like that to figure out a problem. What's wrong with him?

Finally, Percy sighed and spoke. "If you must know, I was thinking about myself. Who I am, what I should be doing with my life, where my loyalties lie."

Interested, yet extremely cautious (this can only end badly) I wondered, "What did you find out?"

Percy fixed me with a look. His eyes looked dark and guarded, wary of everything around him. "I decided on who I wanted five the rest of my life. For the beginning years leading up to now, I've been split between two different people really. Not like my alter egos, it's like I couldn't decide who Percy Jackson was. But now I know."

"Oh yeah?" I taunted. Something inside me knew who this new Percy Jackson was, but I don't want to acrept it. Not yet. So I'll be as rude and cocky as possible until he drops the bomb shell.

"Yes. I believe j said that."

"Okay then. Who is Percy Jackson?"
