Chapter 6
Alice POV
"How can you be pregnant?" said Rebecca in a confused tone.
"I had a run in with some witches" I said.
"Alice things like that can't happen to vampires" said Elijah as he walked over to me.
"Look see for yourself" I stated.
Rebecca and Elijah put their hands on my belly.
"This child she has no heart beat "said Rebecca curiously.
"The child has to be a vampire "I said
"Alice what exactly happened with the witches "said Elijah.
Elijah was always so very calm and collective so I expected him to say that.
"Well I was in Rome you know checking things out admiring the scenery then suddenly some witches high jacked me" I said in my usual tone.
"What would witches want with you " said Rebecca in a sarcastic tone
"Hey I will let you know I never –" I started
"Rebecca let Alice explain" said Elijah in an assertive tone.
"They said that well …. They performed some kind of spell and got me pregnant with a vampire child so it could keep the balance or whatever" I said
"But this goes against everything" said Rebecca in a surprised tone.
"This may have something against Haley " Elijah said aloud.
"Wait who's Haley" I said
"Oh you will meet her in time " said Rebecca
"You both stay here while I inform the witches" said Elijah then he disappeared.
"What is happening Rebecca?" I questioned her.
"You'll find out" she said.
After that I followed her into some room. what was Elijah planning. I was scarred enough as it is. Maybe he is off to find the answers to my unanswered questions. Elijah appeared back after a while with a witch named Sophie Devero who seemed just as puzzled about my situation as I was.
"Whatever witches did this they must have been very powerful" Sophie said
"What am I supposed to do now " I said in a shaky panicked voice.
"Don't worry Alice this will work out " said Elijah while placing a hand on my shoulder
"You know you could always visit your brothers" said Rebecca as she took a seat next to me.
"Why should I so Stefan can just abandon me again just like when he left for that girl Katherine " I thought angrily.
"Stefan has changed Alice and Damon Is there to" said Rebecca knowingly.
"I don't know Rebecca " I said unsurely. Sure they are my brothers but we haven't kept in contact I thought.
"You will be safe there and you know while your like this it would be best not to be alone" reasoned Rebecca.
"I guess… your right thanks for everything Becks and Elijah" I said and walked out.
Elijah was my sire and taught me many things I am grateful for. So there I was heading to Mystic Falls telling any brothers your pregnant would be hard but with my brothers I have a feeling that it would be a lot more difficult.
I mean Stefan can be reasoned with but Damon let's just say that saying he is over protective would be an understatement. When we were human Damon would never let me out of his sight. Damon and I would have been the closest it was always the two of us making fun of Stefan and just plain having fun because he was the only one who seemed to understand me.
So there I was travelling in my blue sports car that I compelled a man into kindly giving to me on a highway leading to Mystic Falls I decided not to tell my brothers straight away for obvious reasons. Mystic Falls has changed so much since I left but It has been nearly one hundred years a lot can change in that amount of time. I walked the many streets and shops until I saw her… a girl that was the living image of Catherine oh I thought another doppelganger but I thought I should wait and see what she is like before I rip her heart out. I came across the boarding house where my brother supposedly lives. I gave a sigh well I thought now is a good time as any to introduce myself.
