Chapter 8

Alice POV.

I was tired from all the exciting antics of that day so I went right into the spare room of the boarding house with its black linen four poster bed. Once my head touched the soft comfortable pillow I fell asleep. I began to dream about my earlier vampire days.

Flashback

I was young back then just starting to control my never ending hunger. Here I was walking the beautiful cultural streets of Italy I was here because I wanted to get strong so I will never be that little pathetic girl again. More importantly so I could control this new body and not become a monster for my brothers' sake if I killed one of them I don't know what I would do.

Ah Italy the place of my birth I hadn't been there in which seemed to me like a lifetime. Control seemed harder than I thought. Elijah and I have been in Italy for a year now you see Elijah has what would seem to be more extreme methods in the controlling of my blood lust. He insists on my taking vervain to stop his brothers from compelling me. I am starting to get myself together maybe I might be able to see my brothers again for one last time. Italy it had such a fancy upper class vibe to it all but as hard as I try I still cannot forget about them.

As time went on I found out more about Elijah's family he says that I am more like his younger brother Klaus the good qualities that he used to have. I was starting to get used to my new life but I could but I could never see what my life could become until he came. He taught me that being a vampire isn't just a punishment. Elijah left after a decade he taught me many things like how I could now become the hunter so I would never be my old pathetic old self again. I can remember his cocky smile and his brown hair oh his dark eyes you could just get lost in.

End of flashback.

"Wake up sister come on we have things to do" said Damon in a sing song voice.

"So what are we doing here today exactly?" I questioned my brothers.

"Well I thought that you might want to meet a few people" said Stefan.

I wondered who these friends could be I mean with Stefan you never know.

"When will I be meeting them then?" I questioned Stefan.

"I was thinking that you could come with me now to meet them" said Stefan while he was getting his things together. Ah well what harm would it do to meet new friends I thought.

"Sure why not" I said and followed Stefan out the door. While we were no our way I decided to question Stefan on his new friends.

"So who are these friends of yours?" I said looking Stefan in the eye.

"Well I may warm you that one of my friends is a witch" he said looking at me seriously. Really Stef come one I am not that bad I thought.

"Gosh Stefan is there any other things I should know" I said to him sarcastically.

"There is this one girl Elena she looks like Katherine's double but I want you to be nice okay" he pleaded with me. Does he really think that all I do is cause trouble?

"Well just for you Stef I will try to be complete non like" I said in a caring tone.

"Thank you Alice Elena is very special to me" said Stefan sadly.

"Hey what are siblings for" I said then nudged his shoulder.

We arrived at the house that the mysterious Elena and the other friends would be. It had a very small yet cosy feel to it what have I got myself into I thought just by hearing about Elena I have a feeling that we won't get along.

"Come on Alice lets go inside" said Stefan and he lead me to the door.

"Stay here please for a minute" said Stefan gosh it's like he doesn't trust me at all.

"Okay Stefan" I said while Stefan walked into the house. I heard hushed voices I could make out the voice of my dear Stefan.

"Please guys give her a chance" said Stefan

"I don't want another vampire around here" said a bossy voice

"Everyone we haven't even meet her yet we should at least meet her first" said a female calming voice.

Seriously how many people are there? My brother appeared from the door way and said "Come on Alice it is time that you meet my friends"

So this is it I wonder how long it will take for one of them to piss me off. I walked through the very homely kitchen into the so called 'living room' as Stefan calls it really it looks a little too cosy if you ask me. I was greeted by six unfamiliar faces well I thought Alice lets go make some friends.
